Chapter Text
"When is he coming back?" Hyunjin barely whispers out, voice hoarse from the activities of yesterday, he barely got any sleep either and unfortunately he had work today.
"Tonight." Changbin answers scrolling through his phone looking for any important messages. He doesn't miss the way hyunjin's expression changes. The male wraps his slender leg around changbin's waist bringing himself closer to him.
"You have an important meeting today." Hyunjin reminds the CEO, he knows he has little time to enjoy the warmth of changbin. The older turns to him and keeps the phone down to properly look at hyunjin. He brings a hand up to his face and tucks the few strands of hair behind his ears.
"What's with the sulking again?" He pinches the bridge of hyunjin's nose making his face scrunch up. The taller shakes his head briefly before giving changbin that oh so familiar guilt stricken look.
"Let's not meet like this in your home." Hyunjin knows that thing alone won't lift his guilts, but it will prevent his mind from reminding him of what he was doing every minute of the day.
Yesterday was rough and rushed. Changbin brought him here without any notice and he had to follow. It's not like he has never been here, actually he hates how familiar this place is. It reminds of the memories he had with them before all of this started. He doesn't even know how this started.
Changbin doesn't say anything, he knows words won't fix their situation. He leans down and plants a soft kiss on hyunjin's lips. He thinks it's brief but hyunjin pulls him closer by his legs, the taller makes the kiss deeper and sensual. His hips grinds on changbin's crotch and he feels the hardness.
"Not now, sweetheart." Changbin whispers softly pulling himself away from hyunjin. He doesn't miss the way hyunjin frowns but soon he nods understandingly. On days like this, hyunjin knows changbin is not entirely his. Maybe he doesn't want to start the day with such a wrong thing again.
The older slips out from the bed and heads to the bathroom. Hyunjin lays on the bed blankly for a few minutes, scanning the familiar room filled with their memories in the form of photos. It burns his eyes almost. The pictures remind him of what he was doing. That is why hyunjin hates this place.
Looking back hyunjin doesn't even remember how everything started. It were only mere moments where he felt like something was going on with changbin but knowing clearly that he was happily married, he didn't ponder much on it. Until the end of last year. He was influenced by his feelings and gave in to every temptation that came his way.
Changbin didn't refuse either. They were both sinners. The younger ruffles his hair in clear annoyance. He forces himself to sit up and again his eyes fall on the side table, a picture frame standing proudly, changbin and Felix's wedding picture. For a brief moment hyunjin feels like shattering it to the ground but then again what right did he have?
He shakes his thoughts away and heads to the other bathroom to change.
___
"You need to head out to pick him up, we don't have time for this!" Hyunjin pushes him away but changbin was right back at him in seconds, pushing him against the wall and grinding his legs between the taller's crotch drawing out a soft groan.
"I still have some time." Changbin barely speaks, too immersed into hyunjin. His lips aggressively meets hyunjin's for a rough and rushed kiss. The younger kisses back with equal eagerness. For that moment hyunjin forgets everything, the guilt fades away for a brief moment and he only enjoys changbin's embrace.
"You are cruel." Hyunjin makes out after a long moan. Changbin works on his pants, yanking them down and turning him against the wall.
"I know." Changbin answers. He unzips his own pants and lets out his cock which slaps against the taller's ass. There was no emergency but changbin felt like hyunjin would disappear if he doesn't have a hold on him.
Hyunjin muffles a moan between his lips as changbin enters him roughly. He feels it deep inside him, the piercing feeling entering his body with a gush of pleasure. It was not just the physical pleasure, the pleasure he feels inside was also so blissful.
Changbin pulls out for a second and then thursts back with so much power that it had hyunjin jerking forward. The younger moans weakly as the older thrusts so roughly inside him. He loves every bit of it. Loves the way changbin was being rough but loving at the same time.
Changbin's hands roam around his body, kneading the flesh and dragging his rough fingers on his delicate skin. Hyunjin submits so easily. He offers his body to changbin to do whatever he wants. There was no doubt, no hesitation.
"Ahh!" Hyunjin knows he was being loud, probably enough for the employees to hear. They were in changbin's office which is located in the corner of the floor but some employees do pass by.
Hyunjin hears changbin groaning and he knows the man was close to his release so he tightens, providing just the right sensation to changbin. The older holds his waist roughy making bruises and comes deep inside him. Hyunjin jerks forward with a scream and comes on the wall.
They remain there in the same position, huffing and panting from the exhaustion. Hyunjin can't even lift a finger and stands there with changbin's support.
Changbin turns him around and kisses him deeply. When they pull away, they have that same lingering expression on their faces, so guilty. Hyunjin smiles weakly and pushes the older's hair back. Changbin's eyes held that same suffocation like he did. They were so wrong but it felt so right.
"You have to go. He is waiting." Hyunjin musters up the confidence to say it. Changbin softens at that, he runs a hand down his back as he nods. Nothing can solve their situation. It was so bad and everytime it was getting worse.
Changbin pulls out and lifts up his pants. He helps hyunjin but then a hand stops him. Hyunjin wanted him to go. He complies and leaves but not before planting a soft kiss on hyunjin's forehead. He glances back before leaving and hyunjin still contains that urgency in his eyes which tells changbin to hurry.
Minutes later after hyunjin has dressed himself again, he cries, inside that cold office room void of any emotions. He breaks down so pathetically. He feels like the walls are caving in and they will crush him inside. The latter frustratingly runs a hand between his hair, pulling on his strands.
He shouldn't be doing this. Not to a person who deserves nothing but happiness. How did he become so pathetic? Hyunjin laughs at himself. He was so shameless.
Felix was his closest friend. He has helped hyunjin so many times. They had the best bond and pure friendship. Hyunjin was even the one who helped Felix in deciding about his marriage with changbin. He wishes nothing but happiness for his friend. But things changed quite badly.
It all started with those small meets and it escalated when hyunjin was appointed as changbin's secretary. At first nothing happened because both were familiar. But then it happened. Those lingering stares, feeling nervous around him, those little touches and then they started opening up more than they should have. They leant on each other for support. Eventually the worst happened and they were now tangled up in this mess.
It wasn't like they haven't tried to end it. They have, many times but it didn't work. Everytime they decide it's better to end it, one comes banging at one another doors days later. They had no end to it even though they tried so many times.
Felix didn't know anything. He was still assuming that their marriage was perfect. And hyunjin was still his best friend.
It all baffles hyunjin, he feels like a monster. He was ruining his best friends life. The friend who loves him so much.
___
"How was your flight?"
Changbin takes the luggage from Felix. The male smiles brightly and goes in for a hug which is returned partially because changbin's hands were occupied.
"It was tiring." Felix sighs tiredly. He slips his hand on changbin's arm and walks beside him. Felix went to Australia to meet his family that still lives there.
"How was work? I hope you didn't overwork hyunjin again." Felix says with his scrutinizing gaze, he notices the way changbin's smile vanished. The mention of the name had changbin's mind run, so many thoughts flushed in.
"Definitely not." Changbin manages to reply and tries to shrug it off but even Felix's face triggers him. The younger was so innocent, he trusted changbin too much.
"Glad to know that! Mom and Dad misses you, let's visit them together next time." Felix suggests to which changbin nods half heartedly. The older relaxes when he sees such a bright smile on Felix's face. The younger was a happy ball of sunshine. Changbin loves his smile.
But the guilt still sits deep inside his heart which prevents him from being honest with Felix. He feels like he doesn't deserve what Felix has for him. He doesn't. Changbin knows he betrayed Felix. He disregarded his true love and pursued a love which was wrong.
Felix and changbin met back in college. Changbin was struggling due to his family pressuring him to be the absolute perfect son and heir to their business. He was at the lowest point in his life, Felix was the one who pulled him out of it. Felix was genuine and honest. That is how changbin fell in love with him.
They had the best relationship. The two graduated and pursued their desired careers. Felix is an interior designer and changbin as predicted decided to manage his family business. They got married three years ago. Definitely they were young and reckless but they believed that love was enough to validate them. Changbin thought so until now.
"Was someone here today?" Changbin freezes when Felix asks him the question. He must have noticed something. Hyunjin indeed left some of his traces unknowingly. And Felix knew their home very well to even notice such minor things.
"Minho dropped by in the morning." Changbin lies. He hates how he has to lie all the time. Felix nods with little hesitation. He heads to their bedroom. Changbin heaves a sigh which he didn't realise that he was holding. He settles down on the couch and holds his temple.
It was so pathetic. He has to lie to his own husband. He is cheating on his husband with his own best friend. Changbin doesn't know how to fix things. He loves both hyunjin and Felix. For some time he thought that maybe hyunjin was just a fling and what he thought is love was just temptation. He thought it was only sexual, and on that note he even confronted hyunjin. Surprisingly even hyunjin agreed and decided to leave things behind on a good note. But then it repeated.
They tried many times but it was to no avail. They failed every time.
Changbin hears a click and checks his phone. His lips form a soft smile as he reads the message hyunjin sent him. It said "Felix must be tired, cook him something if you can. Earlier I left some leftovers from breakfast, heat it up." Hyunjin still cared. Maybe it stung him too but he knew changbin had a duty towards Felix. He was the side person in their relationship.
Changbin does as hyunjin told him to. He heats up the leftovers and waits for his husband. Felix appears into the room with wet hair wearing his lavender color pyjamas with bear patterns looking exactly like a child. Changbin smiles softly and ushers him to sit down.
"Thank you! You ordered it, didn't you?" Felix arched a brow eyeing the food which looked too good to be cooked by changbin. Although it's a lie, changbin still nods with a sheepish grin.
"Eat up, I already ate at the company." Changbin passes the juice to felix. The younger does and takes a big bite.
"My noona is expecting a child." Felix reveals the news. Changbin takes a moment to process it, then he has the brightest smile on his face. He was truly happy for Felix's sister.
"That's a great news." Felix nods with a smile.
"She has always wanted a baby. Last year they were really struggling. I am happy they finally succeeded this time." Felix shares to which changbin nods.
"What should we get for chan hyung and jeongin's wedding gift?" Felix puts down the fork as he finished his meal.
"A house?" Changbin suggests bluntly. According to him, that's a good gift. Felix chuckles at his helplessness. Changbin was extremely bad at giving gifts.
"That's too much. I am already offering to design their house for free but I don't think so that's enough. What about buying them a tour plan?" Felix says.
"Minho hyung is getting them a car. Maybe a tour plan won't be bad from our side." Changbin agrees. He knows chan is sucker for travelling. Felix nods and makes a mental note to himself to look for such plans.
"All of our friends are finally married. Now only hyunjin remains. I wonder when he will find his right one and get married." Felix adds. His poor friend was still single while each one of them are married.
Changbin briefly stiffens hearing the certain name. How can he say that he was the reason behind it. He was the obstacle in hyunjin's path. Even though he loves him, he can't give what hyunjin wants. It kills him inside knowing that he was betraying both of them. He wasn't being honest with anyone.
