Chapter Text
Tatsuhiko groaned, the pain in his stomach to the the throbbing in his head causing problems already. Of course. Sick.
He rolled over, his spine creaking in stiffness of his sleeping position, he sighed.
No Sigma. Shibusawa could hear him clattering downstairs, possibly cleaning or searching the kitchen again for things he can’t find.
Stomp-Stomp-Stomp. Sigma made his way upstairs to the bedroom. He was still in his pyjamas, a thin jacket thrown over him, his face flushed and his hair messy.
“Tatsu! Are you okay? You look awful, do you feel alright?”
“Oh-Oh, of course!”
He watches intrigued as the other man scurried off to get the medicine.
“Okay, Okay. I’ve grabbed a few so just pick which one you want, kay?”
Sigma held up a few bottles for Tatsuhiko to choose from.
“Oh, just give me some paracetamol before I die!”
Sigma sighed, “Tatsu, baby, you’re not gonna die,”
“Yes, I am! Sigma, what am I to do? I’m going to die and leave you all alone, it’ll break you!”
“I’ll be fine, I promise. And you’re not going to die, just take the meds and you’ll be fine, okay?”
Tatsu took the packet and popped out two pills, “May I have some water to help swallow them done?”
“There’s some there,” Sigma said, pointing to his side of the bed.
He picked the glass up and handed it to his lover.
“Thank you!” Shibusawa took the pills.
“There, now why don’t you have a sleep for your headache?”
“M’kay…”
A few hours later, Tatsu woke up.
“You’re awake,” Sigma said, his face snuggled into the crevice of Shibusawa’s neck.
Shibusawa chuckled, warm and soft, full of genuine joy and love.
“I feel slightly better now, dear. Uhhh,” he said before raising his hand to his forehead, “nevermind.”
The headache returned, its throbbing sensation mingling with the chemicals in his brain.
Ring!! Ring!! Sigma’s phone vibrated on the nightstand. Ring!! Ring!! The man groaned and sat up.
“Hello?” he said, “what! No, I can’t go into work today, no. Fine, I’ll be there in a minute. Goodbye.”
“Sorry Sweetheart. I have to go to work, there’s been some issue with some customers.” He let out a small sigh, his eyebrows drew together slightly.
“I’ll be back soon.” And with that, Sigma departed.
Shibusawa sat alone, his pain getting worse and worse. He’d attempted to sleep but work up with a horrible case of the sweats, his pyjamas and the sheets covered in the cold bodily fluid.
He made an attempt to watch a show on the television but then his vision just went blurrier and blurrier and his head pounded in incoherent circles.
"God help me..." he said.
It'd hardly been a minute, well maybe a few hours, when Sigma came home. He was groaning in pain, rubbing his feet where some pink spots had appeared.
"How are you now?" he said, oblivious to his lover's slumber, his face twisted with discomfort.
Shibusawa awoke.
"Sigma.." he said, "I feel... I feel much better now."
Sigma smiled, "Well, Tatsu, everyone gets sick sometimes, I'm just glad you're fine now."
