“Well, I’m off to visit papa!” Hibiki waved at Chuuya. “I’ll make sure to remind him to call you later!” She smiled, running out before he could reply.
She hummed softly as she made her way to the agency headquarters. It was a walk, but she couldn’t consider it to be ‘far away’. She loved the walk, it allowed her just enough time to relax and think before seeing her father. She used to go with Hitomi, but her sister had stopped recently, claiming that she wanted to keep the mafia as her top priority. Hibiki never really understood that, but she started going alone anyways.
As she opened the doors to the cafe underneath, she waved at Atsushi and Kyouka, who were sitting together reading a case file. She had known them as long as she could remember, and was happy to talk to them given the chance, but today she had to hurry.
She walked to the elevator and stepped inside, heading up. The music in it was quiet and calm, a pleasant tune.
It stopped, and the doors opened slowly. She stepped out into the bright office, and froze.
She stared at the most beautiful boy she had ever seen, standing a few feet away from her.
