"K, how do you feel if we go somewhere tomorrow together around night time." Mafuyu said in her monotone voice she constantly had on call. The were alone in the nigthcord call Ena and Mizuki had logged off for the night.
"Sure, where will be going if I may ask?" 'K' or rather Kanade had answered her voice calming and low, as usual.
"I was thinking we could go star gazing. There is a crescent moon tomorrow so the sky should be rather pretty." Mafuyu answered to Kanade's question.
"Stars huh..? That reminds me, some people say the night sky is like a sea of stars. You like seas and aquariams, don't you?" Kanade had spoken up a bit stopping her continues writing.
"I guess you could say that I do.. I think." Mafuyu replied rather unsure of how to answer.
"I'll go. I'm sure I'll enjoy this with you." The white haired girl replied as she started to continue writing. Mafuyu could almost hear how Kanade had her warm smile when she said that.

It was dark out the sky was filled with stars, the moon was pretty and gave off a small glow. The breeze was warm, not much wind, with the smell of flowers that had bloomed recently.
Kanade and Mafuyu had picked a spot to sit outside and stargaze. Once chosen a spot they layed a blanket down and sat down.
"Kanade.. thank you for coming here today.." Mafuyu said in barely above a whisper. Almost seeming like Kanade wouldn't even notice.
"You really don't have to thank me for being here.. I like spending time with you." Kanade heard her statement. She had a gentle smile on her face, even if it was a small one.
'Kanade is the sweetest person ever.. what did I do to deserve her..' Mafuyu thought to herself.
"Kanade.." Mafuyu spoke up again not loud, as she usually wasn't very loud ever.
Kanade looked over at the purple haired girl. She looked confused. "What is it Mafuyu?"
"The moon is beautiful... isn't it?" Mafuyu barely could speak but she could. She had a dark red on her face, it would be too dark out to notice though.
Kanade took a moment to process what had been said to her. Then a sudden shot of realization appeared on her face.
It was a short pause of surprise then her face went into a smile, sweet and warm.
"I can die happy now." The girl replied as she pulled Mafuyu in for a hug. Kanade wasn't one for physical touch, but when she wanted it, it was warming and soft. Mafuyu felt safe in her arms. Like all of her worries could disappear, like she could be saved by Kanade, like she could escape her mother's grasp on her life.
"I love you.. Thank you for not leaving me." Mafuyu mumbled in the others neck. She could feel slight tears fill in her eyes as she was kept in the hug.
She knew she was safe. There with Kanade, the girl she loved more than herself, the one desperately trying to help her.
"I love you too, Mafuyu. I could never leave you." The girl Mafuyu desperately wanted to keep safe replied. "You are always welcome to be near me. You can feel safe here.." Kanade had practically saw how Mafuyu wanted to stay by her side. Mafuyu was smiling, genuinely smiling as a few of the tears rolled down her cheeks.
They could be happy and be safe near each other. Forever under the moonlight.
