He was going to kill Potter this time; he was absolutely sure of it. It was unbearably hot and far too crowded in the Happiest Place on Earth. A hand had grabbed a hold of his and Harry tossed a charming grin over his shoulder.
“Come on Severus, you promised we could go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride again.” Dragging Severus through the crowd to the end of the line for the ride. He received a deep scowl for his efforts and Severus wrenched his hand free.
“This isn’t my idea of fun Potter,” Severus barked and turned to head back the other way. “I’ll wait for you at the exit.”
Harry looked down sheepishly and rubbed his neck. He’d overdone it this time. “I know this isn’t your idea of a pleasant holiday, but we’re spending next week in Berlin like you wanted,” and drew Severus back to him and caressed his cheek, trying to soothe the man. “Please.”
“Fine! But you owe me Potter.” Severus growled under his breath and stood stiffly in the line next to Harry.
“I’ll pay you back later,” Harry responded, leaning up to press a gentle kiss on his cheek. “I’ll even do that thing you especially like with my tongue.” He breathed into Severus’s ear.
A grunt emerged from Severus before he settled back down, accepting his fate.
Neither of them noticed the small hand that grabbed onto the edge of Severus’s trousers until there was a firm tug. They both turned to see a small child looking up at them with wide eyes.
“Are you a vampire, Mister?” the child shouted. The parents rushed to apologise and yanked their child back.
Harry gave a light chuckle while saying “no” at the same time Severus flashed a pointed tooth and said “yes”.
