You were constantly thumping your feet on the ground , nervous for the night about to come . You were going to visit Namjoon's parents for the first time so you really wanted to make a great impression . " Babe what are you going to wear tonight ?" "I have not decided yet , let's do it together Joonie"
"Is this good ? "
"You look nice in everything babe"
"Stop lying Joonie and help me out otherwise we will be late for the dinner"
You were struggling to decide and suddenly Namjoon showed up with a beautiful dress in his hand . "Woah babe is this for me ?" "yes baby this is your present from me , please try it out"
You were feeling really pretty in that dress , you went to Namjoon and kissed him for giving a beautiful surprise . It was almost the time and you both decided to get ready . You were really nervous from inside as Namjoon's family has a very rich household and you were scared to disappoint them but still you wanted to meet them for your boyfriend .
"Minjee are you ready to go ? " "Yes baby , btw you are looking really handsome"
"And you look really pretty just like a princess in Disney movies" "Thank you"
You both reached his parent's house , it was almost like a bungalow which was really intimidating for you . You were nervous yet excited . Namjoon hold your hand to go inside and greet them
"Hey ma'am , hey sir "
His mom suspiciously looked at you but then fake smiled and greeted you back
"Hey Minjee, we finally got to meet you. Namjoon kept talking about you and it got me really excited , let's go inside and talk more"
You got scared by the way his mom spoke so intimidatingly to you as if she was not satisfied at all . His mom took all of us to the dining table. You were really hungry since evening as you worked hard to leave early from your work . Jungkook did the same so they can spend some quality time with their family.
Namjoon's mom was constantly staring at you and bombarded you with questions , you felt a lil uncomfortable but you shrug it off since all of our parents gets a little overexcited . His parents suddenly called him in a room , Namjoon was confused after seeing their Behaviour as well .
"Son don't you think she looks very unhealthy compared to you ? Like look at her arms full of stretch marks and fat on her body whereas you who goes to gym daily and maintains himself. I personally think you should find a better girl for yourself , minjee will eventually get more fat and will be a weight on you forever. You should find a really pretty girl for yourself "
Namjoon was not able to believe what he was hearing "Mom what are you even saying ? She is my girlfriend and I love her . And I will say it for the first and last time that stretch marks are not ugly."
What they didn't knew was that you were silently listening to all of it . Your eyes got really teary as you didn't knew what to say . You silently wiped your tears and went back to your dining table . You were really disappointed with yourself and just wanted to go home at this point . Suddenly Namjoon also got out of the rooand coming towards you .
"Baby let's go home now" "What happened Joonie ?"
"Nothing , let's go for now"
His parents were peeking from the room when we went outside .
You were trying so hard not to burst out infront of Namjoon , you controlled your tears till you reached home. When namjoon went for a shower you undressed yourself and started looking at yourself in the mirror . When you looked at your stretch marks , a weird feeling erupted in your body . You didn't thought of it before but now that you look at your marks , you feel bad . You felt like you were not beautiful at all , you looked at your fat stomach and started feeling really weird . You never felt insecure after you met Namjoon cause he always made you feel beautiful and gave you kisses and compliments . You never thought you will start feeling insecure again just because of few words by his mom . Negative thought engraved your mind and it was not coming out . After a few moments Namjoon came out of the shower and got worried seeing you cry.
"Baby why are you crying ? Please don't cry , it breaks my heart"
"N-Nothing, I just got hurt by the corner of bed"
"Please don't lie , you know that you can me tell everything right ? "
"Yes I know..., I am sorry Baby but I eardropped the conversation you had with you mom . I am really really sorry , I didn't mean to.."
"You don't have to say sorry and please don't listen to her . You are really pretty and your stretch marks are really beautiful . I love them just like you"
You started crying more after hearing his words , you really cannot believe that you got the best man in the world as your boyfriend
"Why are you so nice ? I don't deserve such a pure soul like you" "Please don't say that , you deserve every happiness in this world and I love you so much precious baby"
"I love you too babe"
