Chapter Text

It had already been 500 years since the greatest war that happened on both continents had ended. And all events that happened in those days were recorded in books, paintings, and recording devices that were displayed in the Henituse Museum, a museum made by the Guardian Knight Clopeh Sekka and was funded by the Henituse Duchy even until now.

A grandiose museum that looks like a church castle was also built in the Puzzle City and was said to remind all citizens, not just from Roan Empire but to all races, of the war that happened there and how different races despite their opposing attributes all came together.

On its walls are the cravings of the elements representing every leader and hero that defeated their enemies. And there is only one of those cravings that looked very holy and special… Silver shield, water, wind, earth, fire, and aura. Powers that only represent a single person. The person who showed everyone hope, freedom, and peace.

At the museum’s entrance, a huge painting of a long, fiery, red-haired man is also being displayed. And even if not all the visitors are art critics, they too can see how well-made and detailed that painting is. And below the painting was the name of that very man.

‘Cale Thames Henituse’

Cale Henituse, an ex-Commander who led all battles to triumph.

In the past, he was known to be a ‘trash’ who bet only the gangsters and never hurt innocent ones.

From a statement of Basen Henituse, the step-brother of the Commander, Cale Henituse had sacrificed his own reputation for his family. The very reason why Basen Henituse’s sibling, Lily Henituse, his mother, Violan Henituse, and he were accepted was because of the bad rumors about the ‘trash Cale’.

In the book, Biography of the Hero’s Life I, the author also mentioned that he was one of those that had believed the rumors when in reality, no innocent lives were hurt because of his actions. (A lesson learned to never judge a person quickly just because of their reputation.)

Every historian also believed that Cale Henituse is truly a noble man that the world can never see again.

Cale Henituse was soon then known as the ‘Young Master Silver Shield’ after stopping the attack on the Plaza Terror Incident during King Zed Crossman’s birthday celebration. It was then said to be the start of his adventures with his party in defeating the organization ARM. The Hero Choi Han, the Black Dragon Roan Miru, the Cat Siblings On Molan and Hong Molan, the Emperor Alberu Crossman, the Magic Tower Master Rosalyn, and the Wolf King Lock were the first members of his party then followed by many Beast tribes, kingdoms, and organizations from other continents…

Cale Henituse was then known by many names: The Hero That Cannot Never Be Found On The World Again, The Beginning and the End, the Legendary Hero, and such…

Going further inside, you can see museum shops everywhere. A variety of desserts that have images of the heroes, figurines of the people who have made a great contribution to the world, posters, clothes, and more souvenirs are all sold here.

Going much further, you’ll also see a large area where various paintings, items, recording devices, and books are being exhibited and played.

“And before we end this tour, young aspiring scholars, artists, and writers, I present to you this painting.” A silver-haired man, who was in his late 20s, said.

Then the red curtain with golden beads that was covering the large painting was opened and the students and nearby people were astonished by it.

In the painting, you can see a blond-haired man with blue eyes sitting on a chair. He was also wearing clothes that belonged to that of a royalty. Standing behind him was a red-haired man with reddish-brown eyes who was wearing a black commander suit. The two were smiling but their eyes did not, however they still looked very charming but still scary

The painting itself shows a dark atmosphere and it’s really scary how the eyes of the sworn brothers looked as if they were shining in the dark. And just one glimpse of it, you can see that they were in a meeting room because there seemed to be silhouettes of the opposing nobles too.

“The painter of this painting was said to be one of the people who attended the meeting and was mesmerized by how the two stood still despite the opposition of the nobles and they engraved the very sight in their mind. The painter also made this painting dark as you can see, unlike the other paintings in this museum, to portray the unmovable aura that the two had during that time.” The silver-haired man continued as the students he was touring were quickly taking down notes while some were frozen as they looked at the painting.

“Excuse me director-nim! Who is the painter of this painting?” Someone asked.

“Thank you for asking. The painter is actually anonymous, we still don’t know about their gender or are they even human in the first place. All we have is the unknown words scribed on the painting which was said to be their signature and its language seems to be not of this world too.” The silver-haired man, who was the current director of the museum, explained while pointing to the bottom right part of the painting.

“Now as a review of this tour, can any of you tell me who these gentlemen are?” The man said while looking at the painting.

The students were all excitedly raising their hands but the director picked the blue-haired child, who seems to be 15 years old.

“These men are the sworn brothers, Emperor Alberu Crossman and the Hero Cale Henituse, sir.” The child answered excitedly at first but then frowned as she noticed that something was weird with the painting. “But sir, is it just me, or does the painting seem to be moving?”

As she said that, everyone quickly stared at the painting with expectations that the painting was actually moving while others thought that she was just joking when suddenly, a dark-blue light suddenly blinded their eyes.

Bamm.

“Ughh… Now what?” A voice can then be heard near the painting after the sound of someone falling was heard.

“...Your highness.” Another voice was also heard in the same location.

The director quickly opened his eyes and saw an annoyed man who was on the floor but still looked elegant and another stoic man who was looking at that very man. There was also weird fog around them too.

‘A-am I hallucinating?’ The director could only look at the two as he opened and closed his mouth like a fish while the others present there were starting to open their eyes.

“Hey dongsaeng… will you help me stand up or not?” The man with blond hair and blue eyes said softly but a little bit annoyed as he tried to stand up after that painful fall.

“Your highness, no, hyung-nim, you know I’m very weak right?” The man with fiery red hair and reddish-brown eyes said as he smiled brightly at the said person. But despite his words, he still helped the other man stand up properly.

“N-no way…”

“Am I dreaming?”

“Is it an illusion? T-they seem real…”

“Are they who I think they are?”

Mutterings can then be heard at every action the two strangers do.

“Excuse me, good sirs…” The director went closer to the two as he gained his composure. Others also kept their mouths shut and tried to listen to what the director had to say.

Both men looked at each other, nodded, and looked at the director as if telling him to say what he needed to say.

“I am Richard Demir, the 300th director of the Henituse Museum.” The director introduced himself while the red-haired frowned and the blond-haired looked around the place they were in.

“Are you two perhaps the Emperor Alberu Crossman and the Hero Cale Henituse?” Richard asked politely while some thought that it is very rare for him because of the high position he currently has in society. And well, the audience who also thought of the same thing, looked at the two individuals with sparkling eyes.

“...I am indeed Alberu Crossman, but I’m not an emperor though?” Alberu, despite being shocked at Richard’s question, wore his usual crown-princely smile (or I suppose, it’s the emperor-looking smile now).

Many gasped at Alberu’s answer and some were completely frozen at the fact that they were able to see the emperor and hero face-to-face! Many then began to flock to the area after they heard Alberu’s answer.

Noticing the people’s reactions, the red-haired man then looked at the big painting behind them that had their portrait. He could only guess that they really might have time-traveled, especially by how advanced the things around them are…

“Nice to meet you, I am Cale Henituse… And if you don’t mind, can we have a chat for a bit?” Cale smiled brightly at Richard while patting Alberu’s shoulder. The scene made other people faint and some were actually even kneeling and bowing to them.

Alberu’s mouth could only twitch after seeing how his dongsaeng is wearing his scammy smile again, or at least what Raon calls it. He also felt as if Clopeh Sekka had multiplied, but the target is not only Cale but also him

Flashes coming from the advanced recording devices were also starting to appear and Alberu, who didn’t know that those devices were, slightly flinched but only Cale noticed it.

“Ahem… Please calm down everyone! No taking photos or recording this event and staff, bring the fainted ones to the clinic!” Richard sighed as he activated a device in his hands before the three individuals disappeared.

Notes:

The fic where the OC character is a huge fan of Cale Henituse and then met the adult Raon Miru gave me an idea of ‘what if Cale went to the future?’ (Sorry I forgot the title of the fic but big credits to the author-nim!) And yea…. I did this instead of continuing my other fic hehe~

I also just made this chapter on a whim (actually last2x month) so I don’t know when I’ll be able to update but I’ll definitely try my best to update every month!

Also credits to my best friend under the name of AliAliXia for helping me choose the name of my OC~ And hello to my other two best friends who are also my first readers~ <<<3
