There were only a few things in the world that people said were unbreakable; like, for instance, certain spells casted on people by sorcerers. Another example would be a dragon’s heart. They also used to say the human heart was unbreakable; however, it seemed, Gwen had proved that wrong.
Gwen knew that when she became queen, she would never truly have her husband’s heart. She also knew why; that it belonged to Merlin, Arthur’s most trusted servant and greatest friend, and also his lover.
Gwen knew that she couldn't have done anything, and even if she only loved Arthur as a brother, she couldn't help it when her heart broke; even just a little.
The one thing that she knew was truly unbreakable, was the bond between Arthur and Merlin; truly like two sides of the same coin.
And when she found Lancelot, she knew she would be fine; because as long as she had Lancelot, and as long as Arthur and Merlin were happy with each other, she was happy. She knew nothing could change that.
