"I ain't payin' shit!"
Koga held the colourful money close to his chest, guarding it with all his might. Kaoru sighed, placing his elbow on his knee and resting his chin on his palm.
"Koga-kun, it's in the rules. You landed on my property, so now you need to pay me." Kaoru explained to the angry idol seated across from him.
"What fuckin' rules?" Koga squirted his eyes at the blond as his grip on the fake-money tightened.
"It says so here, Oogami," Adonis—seated to the left of Koga—moved the game manual into the other idol's vision, pointing at a sentence under the "Rules" section.
Koga made a noise of annoyance, reluctantly counting and giving Kaoru the money he owed him. Koga stared at the singular 100 dollar bill in his hand with a dejected expression. Curse you, capitalism.
"Sakuma-senpai, it's your turn." Adonis placed the dice in front of Rei. Rei yawned as he thanked Adonis and cupped the dice in his hands.
"You've been yawning a lot, Rei-kun," Kaoru said, noticing the tired expression on the dark-haired idols' faces. "You okay?"
"A meeting with the higher-ups of Rhythm Link can do wonders on your body, Kaoru-kun." Rei smiled at Kaoru with tired eyes, shaking the dice in his cupped hands.
“Please take care of yourself, Sakuma-senpai.” Adonis furrowed his eyebrows in concern for his senior's health. “Eat lots of meat and get a healthy amount of sleep. You will regain your strength very quickly.”
“Ever the angel you are, Adonis-kun,” Rei let go of the dice in his hands, watching as they fell onto the wooden floor in front of him. “You always know how to warm this old man’s cold heart.”
“Ooo, you rolled a six,” Kaoru said, pointing to the dice on the floor. “You gotta pick up a chance card now.”
Rei picked up his chosen piece—the silver tophat—and moved it six spaces forward. He picked up a card and read it out loud.
“Advance to the nearest Railroad” Rei scanned the board for the nearest railroad, picked up the silver tophat, and moved it 6 spaces forward. “I wish to buy this railroad. Kaoru-kun, how much is it?”
“Does the price really matter to you? It’s not like you need to worry about going bankrupt like Koga-kun anytime soon.” Kaoru looked at the large pile of play money in the space inside of Rei’s crossed legs. Koga muttered to himself at the mention of his financial situation.
“Oh? Why were you looking down there in the first place?” Rei brought his knees to his chest, covering his crotch area with his legs. “Kaoru-kun, you pervert~ There are children here!”
“I wasn't staring at your di—crotch!” Kaoru retorted, his face bright red with embarrassment.
“Quiet down, Kaoru-kun.” Rei leaned his body against Kaoru’s side, turning his head towards Kaoru's ear. His quiet voice caused the blond’s face to become even more flushed with red. “Wait until the kids are sleeping, then I’ll give you what you want~”
“CAN YOU FUCKING NOT?” Koga’s expression was the textbook definition of disgusted. Adonis was doing everything in his power to not look at the sight next to him, choosing to reread the game’s manual for the 3rd time that night.
"So hypocritical, Koga," Rei leaned his head on Kaoru’s shoulder, taking the idol’s hand into his own. "You and Adonis-kun get to be cute alllll you want. But the moment me and Kaoru-kun want to be affectionate, we’re deemed "disgusting" and "disgraceful" to UNDEAD's image. So mean~"
“That’s ‘cause we don’t do weird, horny shit like you two!” Koga snatched away the dice near Rei’s feet as he growled, placing the dice in Adonis’ hands.
“Thank you, Oogami” Adonis placed a quick kiss on Koga’s cheek, the silver-haired boy mumbling a quiet “Yer welcome” in response. Kaoru pushed Rei away from his side, the raven-haired man whining as he retreated to his own side of the gameboard. Adonis shook the dice in his hands, releasing them to roll a 12.
“Woah! Nice one, Adonis!” Koga raised his hand as the two boys high-fived each other. Adonis moved his chosen piece—the silver thimble—12 spaces forward, landing him on the “Just Visiting” part of the Jail square.
“My turn~” Kaoru took the dice in his hands and shook them. As he released the dice, someone knocked on the door of Koga’s dorm.
“I’ll get it.” Koga stood up and opened the door. His roommate, Tatsumi Kazehaya, stood in the doorway.
“Kazehaya-senpai? Why’re you here?” Koga asked the teal-haired man in front of him. He thought Tatsumi was supposed to be spending the night in Mayoi’s dorm.
"Good evening, Koga-san," Tatsumi said as he peered into the dorm room through the open doorway."I forgot to bring something when I left. Can I go pick it up?"
“Yeah, of course.” Koga pulled the door open wider, allowing the Christian man inside. Tatsumi greeted the rest of UNDEAD as he entered.
Tatsumi walked towards his bed. Leon was curled up and sleeping on the edge of it. somehow unfazed by the racket the Idols were making earlier. Tatsumi patted the top of the dog's head gently as he lifted his pillow and picked up a picture frame. In the frame was a printed photo of Jesus Christ.
"I couldn't go to sleep without him." Tatsumi held the photo to his chest as he made his way back to the door. "I will be taking my leave now, Koga-san. Have you and your unit mates a blessed night."
"Uh, yeah, you too." Koga eyed the painting in his roommate's arms.
Tatsumi smiled cheerfully as he closed the door behind him. "Remember to leave room for Jesus!"
Koga wouldn't bother questioning Tatsumi's strange photo. Compared to the photo, there was way weirder shit at ES Square and Yumenosaki. Shrugging, the wolf turned around and sat back down on his side of the Monopoly board.
"Welcome back, Koga-kun." Kaoru greeted his unitmate cheerfully. "I got $200!"
"Congratu—fucking—lations, Hakaze-senpai." Koga sneered, once again reminded of his financial situation. Koga grasped the dice in his hands tightly and shook them vigorously.
"C'mon ya lil’ pieces of shit, the great Koga Oogami needs a comeback!" Koga prayed that Lady Luck would cast her gaze on him and give him a comeback. "Anything but a nine! Anything but a nine!"
Koga let go of the dice and watched as they fell onto the floor.
He rolled a nine.
"FUCK YOU" Koga held his face in his hands in despair. Rei took the liberty of moving Koga’s piece—the silver Scottish Terrier—for him. He had landed on the "Go to Jail" square.
"Today is not your day, huh, Koga?" The grey-haired idol glared at his unit leader's cheeky expression. Accepting his fate, Koga sighed and moved his piece into the orange box deemed "Jail" on the game board.
Adonis moved his piece to the edge of the square where Koga's piece was resting, tilting it side to side with his pointer.
"Hello, Oogami." Adonis greeted his jailed unitmate, staring at Koga as he waited for the others' reaction.
Koga couldn’t help but crack a smile at his boyfriend's small attempt to cheer him up. Humouring the other boy, Koga faced his piece towards Adonis' thimble and made it "jump" on the board. "What's up, Adonis?"
"It seems you are in jail." Adonis looked back down at their pieces on the board.
"Yeah, shit sucks ass." Koga responded. "I don't have any money to bail, so I guess I'm stuck 'ere for a lil’ while."
"Can I keep you company until then? I don't want to leave you alone." Adonis looked back up at Koga, waiting for an answer.
Koga huffed, a light pink colour dusting his cheeks as he responded. "Yeah, sure, do whatever ya want."
Adonis smiled at his boyfriend's expression, his skin scrunching up near his tear ducts. Rei chuckled to himself at the sight. His juniors could be so cute sometimes.
Kaoru looked at his watch; the time read 9:30. Knowing that he had a photoshoot in the morning, the blond decided to clock out for the night.
"Well, it's been fun playing with you guys, but I think I'm gonna go hit the hay now." Kaoru stretched his arms over his head as he stood up. Rei followed his lead and stood up as well.
"It is past both of your bedtimes, so I will also be taking my leave." Rei walked behind Kaoru as they walked towards the door, waving goodbye to the two younger members. "Goodnight, Koga, Adonis-kun."
"Bye-bye~" Kaoru smiled as he closed the door behind him.
"Oi!—Of course they leave us to clean up…" Koga grumbled as he began packing up all the pieces of the game. Adonis helped with recollecting all the cards.
"Hey, uh, Adonis," Koga said nervously, scratching the back of his neck. "Do ya wanna…maybe... stay the night?"
The purple-haired boy perked up at the offer. "I…wouldn't mind that, Oogami."
Koga smiled, his fangs shining under the dorm's bright lights. He placed the Monopoly box back under his bed, turned around and faced the other idol in the room. Koga opened his arms, waiting for Adonis to take the hint. Huffing to himself in contentment, Adonis moved towards the grey-haired boy and hugged him. The two swayed from side to side as they embraced each other.
Leon decided he had napped long enough, and started running circles around the pairs' legs. Koga chuckled at his furry companion's newfound energy, picking Leon up and cradling him in his arms.
"C'mon, let's go get ready for bed." Koga freed one of his arms and took hold of one of Adonis' hands. Adonis followed his boyfriend without complaint, not bothering to hide the soft smile on his face.

Kaoru yawned as he closed the door behind him. He started to walk back towards his dorm, but was interrupted by a pair of pale arms wrapping around his waist.
"You know, Kaoru-kun…" Rei whispered in Kaoru’s ear. "I was intending on keeping my promise from earlier."
"How about we go to bed at a reasonable time like working adults should do?" Kaoru turned his head towards the raven, their noses grazing against each other.
"Kaoru-kun~" Rei shoved his face into Kaoru’s shoulder as he whined. "I haven't seen you all day, Kaoru-kun. Can't you spare this old man at least a little more of your time?"
Kaoru sighed, turning his body to probably face his (pathetic) unit leader and to hold his face in his hands. "If you want to sleep over, just tell me, Rei-kun."
Rei's face lit up, a large smile on his face. The elder man pulled the blond's hands away from his face and kissed his cheek. "Thank you, Kaoru-kun. I will."
Kaoru rolled his eyes, another yawn escaping his mouth. "Come on, I've got work in the morning."
Rei wrapped his arms around Kaoru's bicep, leaning onto the shorter male as they walked to Kaoru’s dorm room in silence.
"Hey, Rei-kun?"
"Yes, Kaoru-kun?"
Kaoru turned his head and placed a kiss on his boyfriend's head.
"I love you."
Rei took a moment to process the sudden gesture, before huffing and pulling Kaoru closer.
"I love you too, Kaoru-kun."
