Work Text:
One of the core skills in being a novelist is also being a good researcher. Whatever the genre of the story is, one must do proper research in order to make the story detailed, believable, and relatable.
So when Ike's editors asked him to put a kissing scene in one of his drafted novels, he put a lot of effort into researching what a good kiss would be. However, weeks of watching romance films and reading sexy books did not contribute to his inspiration at all. He still couldn't write that goddamn kissing scene.
Desperate, Ike decided to do the next step in research: experiencing it firsthand.
But Ike wasn't in a relationship. He wasn't dating anyone or was willing to date anyone for the sake of research. The only ones he could ask were his housemates. Ike decided to ask for their help. And since he didn't know who among them was the best kisser, he decided to ask each of them in secret, making them promise not to tell the others. That way, there wouldn't be any conversations about how Ike kissed all of them for science.
It was a bit nerve-wracking to ask his housemates for help. After all, it's not like they were interested in him romantically or anything. "It's an important research for my novel," he explained with the most earnest eyes he could make, praying that if they ever say no, they wouldn't think of him weirdly anyway. But instead of rejecting him, they were eager to help him. After all, his success in his writing would mean success for them as well. They gladly accepted Ike's request without question. And so, Ike's research on kissing commenced without trouble.
Vox kissed like a pro. He was in control and followed a certain process of increasing the intensity of the kiss, starting from teasing pecks to biting Ike's lip to delving deep into his mouth. He kept a hand at the small of Ike's back, slowly moving it up and down as if to soothe Ike's nervousness. His other hand was at the side of Ike's face, helping him tilt his head every once in a while to deepen the kiss.
Mysta kissed hungrily, as if the oxygen he needed was in Ike's mouth. He didn't follow any steps nor did any teasing. He sloppily kept their mouths open as he plunged his tongue down Ike's throat, then drew back to give Ike's lips kittenish licks as if to let the novelist recover from the sheer intensity of the kiss. He kept his hands on Ike's shoulders, but pressed himself forward ever so often like he couldn't bear to be inches apart from Ike's body.
Luca's kissing was very laidback, especially since Luca pulled Ike to straddle his lap before they even kissed. He whispered a lot, calling Ike's name or chuckling in between kisses. He would ask Ike to put his tongue out so he can suck it or tangle it with his. Then, he would kiss him deeply, but not without teasing him by licking his palate. One of Luca's hand combed through Ike's hair, while another stealthily slid up the novelist's thigh which earned him quite a scolding.
Shu kissed shyly and carefully, his face turning deep red the first time their lips touched. Ike thought he was inexperienced, but with the way Shu slowly teased the right places inside his mouth with his tongue, Ike understood that the sorcerer was just observing what sensations Ike liked then triggering them. Shu kept a hand on Ike's nape, fingers gently playing with the hair at the back of his neck. His other hand roamed Ike's face, sometimes lightly touching his the shell of his ear, which made Ike tremble.
The kissing sessions proved to be very insightful, and Ike was able to write what he needed...and more. It was a success and all that experience should've given Ike a lot of fodder for his other works.
But Ike wanted more.
It wasn't because he needed to write another novel. It wasn't because he needed further research. He just found it interesting--the whole kissing thing--and the vastly different sensations he could feel depending on who he's kissing. He didn't want to abuse his housemates' kindness. But it was so, so tempting.
So Ike lied--just a little bit--about how he needed more material for research. And asked the guys again for another test.
And again
And again.
And again until the lines between research and plain indulgence disappeared. Ike had become used to asking for a kiss whenever only one of the guys was with him, knocking on their bedroom door or cornering them in the bathroom or tugging needily at their shirts and looking at them with unconsciously pleading eyes.
Every single one of them indulged him, lifting him up to sit on the table or crowding him to a corner of the room or bending over him as he looked up from the couch's headrest or dragging him into their bedrooms. Each time, the kiss was different, sometimes gentle and relaxed, sometimes devouring. Ike loved all of them. He knew he was getting greedy and that it may come to a point when his lies would cause misunderstandings. But he didn't know how to stop.
He promised himself he would stop someday. But before he could even decided on when is someday, he found himself in a rather precarious position.
"Mwpgh?!" Ike exclaimed, his voice muffled as Luca kissed him deeply. He has just finished his shower and was about to sleep when Luca barged into his room and jumped him.
As they kissed, Ike saw people enter the room from the corner of his eye. He tried to pry Luca away from him, but he needed not to, because Luca voluntarily moved away. Before Ike could speak, though, a hand wrapped around his nape and coerced him to turn his head. Then, he felt Shu's lips on him, kissing him with more fervor than before.
Ike was not able to speak for the next several minutes, for someone else kept claiming his mouth the moment the other was done kissing him. He felt himself being moved around, his head turned this way and that as his housemates took several turns kissing him. By the time they were done, his lips were puffy and sticky, his tongue felt numb, and drool spilled from his lips.
"Wha..." Ike gasped, his eyes hazy as he tried to recover from the onslaught of mouths and clear his mind so he could think. "How..."
"Well, Ikey, it seems you need some explainin' to do." Luca sat behind him on the bed, supporting his back and nuzzling his neck.
"We wanted to know how your 'research' is going," Shu whispered in Ike's ear as he wiped some of the drool with his finger, laughing when the novelist shuddered.
"Who would've thought Mr. Novelist here would be so insatiable that he had to do overtime research?" Vox held one of Ike's hands, licking a stripe up his palm and teasing his fingers
"We wanna know...maybe you want to take your research to the next level?" Mysta was sitting right in between Ike's legs, his hands pressing not-so-gently on his thighs.
"It would be more efficient if you experience everything all at once, right?" Luca said, then deftly slid his hands down to start unbuttoning Ike's shirt. Suddenly, an overpowering number of hands and lips began to move all over his body.
"Wait, wait a s-second..." Ike managed to breathe out despite all the sensations drowning him. "I...don't we need to talk? How did you...I mean..." Ike looked at the four pairs of hungry eyes around him. "Aren't you guys mad that I...used you?"
The four men looked at each other and laughed.
"Ike. Do you want this?" Vox asked, studying Ike's face.
"Do you want us?" Mysta corrected.
Ike didn't know what to say. He was overwhelmed and scared, but he would be lying (again) if he said he wasn't shaking in anticipation. Carefully, he answered. "I do...but..."
"That's all we need."
Then, as if Ike didn't say anything, the hands continued to move over him, slowly divesting him of his clothes and touching him in places he hadn't even touched himself before. His mouth was claimed once more by someone, he couldn't remember who anymore, and more mouths traveled all over him.
Before he lost himself in the sensations, he found himself muttering, "...but I lied to you..."
"Don't worry, Ike." Shu's whisper tickled his ear while his syrupy voice soothed him. "Don't you know who suggested to your editors that you can write kissing scenes so you will research about them?"
The happy laughter and comforting words from the boys were Ike's last clear memory before everything became a heated and messy blur.
