What's Your Type?

Summary:

After the battle at the Kyoto Goodwill event and meeting Todo, Yuji ends up asking Sukuna a question he heard from Todo. A simple question that could tell him everything about Sukuna based on the King of Curses answer.

Work Text:

It hadn't been long since Yuji has become friends with Todo and then fought off a Special Grade Curse together. While Todo was weird, extremely so, Yuji was happy to call him a friend.

One bit of weirdness from Todo did stick in Yuji's head for a while, and a question had popped up that he was vaguely curious about. It was the kind of question that you wonder about, but you typically either forget about it before you can ask or just plain never get the chance to ask.

However, this question did get its chance to be asked.

Sukuna had popped up to make some snide remark while Yuji was reading manga during a break, and Yuji just decided to say it and see what happened.

"Hey, Sukuna. What's your type?" He asked.

Sukuna didn't even dignify it with a response. Yuji mistook that to mean that he didn't understand the question, and elaborated.

"Like, what's your ideal kind of woman? Or guy?"

"You cannot be serious." Sukuna flatly said. "You're asking me the same question that boorish oaf asked you."

"Hey, Todo's-"

"An idiot." Sukuna stated. "Don't bother asking me that question again.

Ryomen Sukuna leaned back in his throne, waiting in his domain. Usually, he was simply biding his time while coming up with plans and fantasizing about how to murder Yuji's friends. But, well, he supposed that thinking about his ideal partner was a distraction he could use to pass the time. He'd never tell the brat, of course, as that would be giving him a victory he very much did not earn.

Gender was of no object to the King of Curses. To him, it was arguably the least important aspect of a potential partner. But, for the sake of things, he decided to refer to his ideal partner as male for the sake of this exercise in thought.

He would have to be powerful. Strong enough to match him. That was non-negotiable. If one was to court or be courted by Ryomen Sukuna, they had to be worthy of him in every way. And that meant strength. Perhaps with some sort of spacial manipulation ability? He'll leave it at that, as odd as it was that it was the first thing to come to mind.

After power would come personality. Someone who cared little for the current status quo and would gladly tear it all down in a heartbeat if he felt he could. Jujutsu sorcerers could use come changes to how they lived-

That was odd. Sukuna didn't really care about Jujutsu society beyond their attempts at killing him, so why would he even think about such a thing? He dismissed that as just his constant exposure to it as of late making him think of it.

Appearance was next. Dark clothes seemed the most fitting. White hair, perhaps in a spiky hairstyle? Blue eyes that were almost hauntingly beautiful. Not that you would often get to see them, as they'd typically be covered by a... blindfold.

A blindfold. Sukuna paused. He realized who he was describing.

Yuji was back to training with Gojo a few minutes later, when he suddenly paused and got a hit to the face as a result.

"Something on your mind, Itadori?" Gojo asked.

"No. Just, Sukuna's getting mad about something-" Yuji stopped as a mouth grew on his cheek.

"I will kill you, Gojo Satoru! I will melt your flesh in hot wax and then tear your bones to pieces!" Sukuna yelled, radiating bloodlust.

Gojo sighed. "No, you won't." What did he even do this time to earn the King of Curses ire, he wondered mentally. He wasn't even doing anything right now.
