Camp MonoFLOP (REWRITE OUT NOW)

Summary:

Using 48 teenagers’ summer vacation to put them into a suspicious summer camp deep into the woods was the solution headmaster Jin Kirigiri deduced to reform Hope Peak Academy’s top three most problematic and defiant classes—Class 77, Class 78, and Class 79 (V3). Class 77 and 78 finished their second year at Hopes Peak and Class 79 finished their first. And now, they all have to drop their summer plans to attend the camp run by a robotic bear and rabbit.

This is just the OG, the rewrite is published underneath the same account :)

Chapter Text

Dear Hope’s Peak Academy student,
This summer, we invite you to a mandatory trip from June 15th through August 30th at Camp Monokuma. All students from classes 77, 78, and 79 are obligated to come. If you are unable to attend, you must send in a letter or email explaining why and have it approved before June 10th. For more information on what is and what isn’t a valid excuse not to attend, go onto the official Hope’s Peak Academy site at /hopespeak.idontwannagoonthistrip.com
All students will be expected to show up in the gymnasium by 9:30 AM on June 15th. From there, buses will board at 10:30 AM. There will be two buses- one for students and one for luggage. The drive is around 3 hours long, so it is recommended that students bring entertainment for themselves. Students are not allowed to drive themselves or ride anything else to the camp without expressed permission.
You will be expected to pack and bring your own clothing and other necessary items you deem important. Keep in mind that Camp Monokuma is located deep into the woods and has little to no reception, meaning cell phones would most likely be useless. It is recommended not to bring any cellular device. There are wired phones throughout the camp for short or emergency calls, but you must have expressed permission to use them. The camp will provide things such as sunscreen, bug spray, first aid kits, and other things such as limited clothing or sleeping bags in case something of yours gets lost.
The camp instructors, Monokuma and Monomi, will be in charge over the summer and will further explain the rules of the camp upon arrival. For more information about the camp itself, go to campmonokumatheplacewherekidsmaketheirlastmemories.com

Sincerely,

Jin Kirigiri - Headmaster of Hope’s Peak Academy

Notes:

Thanks to my friend @lesmoodian on Twitter (you should follow them btw) for helping me come up with the Hope's Peak website name. I totally imagine Jin asking his daughter to make the website page and Kyoko just giving up and naming it that lmao
