Studying of the Titians

Summary:

"So, you don't care at all?" Becky teased the young boy.

"Of course not, why should I care about that stupid shrimp?" He said as he took a sip from his water.

"So you don't care that Anya is going to the movies with Bill?" Damian nearly spit out his water, he looked at his friends, he hopes not to cause a commotion and swallowed the liquid.

He calmly said. "WHAT?!"

Chapter Text

Damian hated the fact that whenever Anya was around him he got... all weird. His heart would go crazy, his body would shut down, and he got all sweaty. However, he couldn't help but stare at her. And he hated it. But what he saw shocked him. It was after school, Ewen and Emilie were hoping to play soccer but Damian had to go to the library to return a book. He arrived at the place and dropped off the book but he heard a familiar voice catching his attention. "Anya gets it now!" Damian wanted to leave, but his heart told him otherwise. He crept through the books and learn to see the pink-haired shrimp, with Bill?

Bill was shoving a book in front of Forger and she wrote something down. Bill was telling her something and she laughed. That freak of nature was making that shrimp laugh? Damián watched her but she turned her head and looked at the boy. Damian booked it and ran out of there. Anya was confused by that but continued on with her studying. Damian was outside and hoped that nobody was following him, he couldn’t get the fact that some boy, especially Bill Watkins of all people, was interested in Anya. And to make matters worse, she was laughing with him. What was the joke? And why did Damian care? He shouldn’t care what that runt did anyway. Still, he couldn’t unsee it.

The next day, Damian and his friends were walking to their classroom. Emilie was talking about something but Ewen pointed to Anya and Bill talking. The boy and the girl were talking about something, but Damian couldn’t hear what they were talking about. But he didn’t care at all what it was about. But he continued to stare at them a while longer. Hoping Bill would fall flat on his face and break his stupid glasses of something so he could laugh at it. Anya then turned around and saw Damian staring at them. He and his goons took a different direction to avoid contact.
In class, Damian was thinking about why Bill was hanging out with Forger? Last time, he tried to murder them through dodgeball and now he kissing up to her? Oh God, the thought of Bill kissing made him sick! But why? And why was he so concerned about why Anya was hanging out with that freak of nature? Maybe he was worried? Yeah, worried that Anya was hanging out with Bill, the guy that nearly tried to hurt her. But wait? Why would he care what happens to that rut? And why did he want Bill to be gone?! He then saw Anya turn to see him. He faced his direction to the teacher as if nothing happen.

At lunch, Damian saw Bill walking over to the table that Anya and Becky were eating at and sat next to them. He was talking to Anya most of the time and this angered Damian even more. The fact that Bill was interested in Forger. What does he see in him anyway? She's small, weird, annoying, has an ear-grating voice, has big eyes, is loud, has soft hair, smells like strawberries, is cute, and has a sweet-AAH! Damian shook his head and tried to get that image out of his head, much to the confusion of his friends.\

"Boss-man are you okay?" Emilie asked.

"Yeah, you hardly touched your food." Ewen said.

"Ye-yeah, I-I'm fine." Damian lied, he then saw the Forger girl putting her food away with Bill coming along. He looked at the girl and she turned her head to him.

"Hi Sy-on boy!" Anya cheered.

"Don't bother the boss-man weirdo!" Ewen said.

"Yeah, leave us alone!" Emilie also said.

"Silent! Both of you." Bill said, scaring the two boys. "That is no way to talk to a lady."

"And since when did you care about treating people right?" Damian responded. "After you tried to kill us from dodgeball."

"I admit, I was too hard on you people. But if you wanted stella stars you would have done the same thing." Damian clenched his fist. "However, I have made admen with Anya. In return, I help her study and she trains me on her special dodging abilities. "

"Good luck on that old man," Damian said. "The teachers couldn't teach Anya even with a raise.

"I do admit she is difficult, but right now she is improving and getting better at it."

"Yeah!" Anya cheered into the conversation. "Anya knows what a Quack-dramatic formula is!"

"Quadratic." Bill corrected.

"But still," Damian said. "I feel really bad that you have to teach Anya Forger of all people. You must hate yourself, old man."

"On the contrary, I feel good to teach the first student to get a stella at such a young age. And the first person to stand up to a Desmond." Damian gritted his teeth and glared at the boy. Bill did the same but in a more elegant way. Anya was standing between them, confused about what is going on.

"Can Anya leave now?"

"I'm sorry. Please lead the way." Bill and Anya left, except for Becky who stayed behind and had a smug look on her face.

"What do you want?" Damian said.

"You were really defensive over Anya, do you want to talk about that?"

"Why should I?"

"Well it seemed like you cared for Anya and hated the fact that she was hanging with Bill."

"Bah!" Damian said in a disgusted tone. "You wished. Beside the boy defeated me and Anya, I'm only suspicious. But I don't care what that runt does."

"So, you don't care at all?" Becky teased the young boy.

"Of course not, why should I care about that stupid shrimp?" He said as he took a sip from his water.
