"You know that you are going to be the future king.. And you know you will be punished later for your actions.." Roared the voice of the Queen as she watched her son walk before her with his personal knight beside him.
"Yes mother..." He said quietly as he felt a hand glid across his face with his face turning to the side as his eyes shut closed.
"You can do better son.. Get out of my sight and go train with the knights. Lady Kendall you must come with me" As the queen said that last part the prince got his knees pressing his hands together.
"Please mother..Do not punish her she had no part in my actions!" He spoke his words the knight stepped forward.
"The more you mess up my son. The more she will be punished"
Though Lady Kendall is the greatest knight the queen has.. She pays for the prince's actions. She does not mind as long as the man she protects does not get physically injured.
" Now come on knight "
"Yes your majesty" Lady Kendall said as she bowed quietly before following the queen along with other knights. The prince stood up as tears fell from his eyes. Why does this road he walk on always must make him suffer?
On the edge of a bridge that lays above a rather wide water river with the wind of the Kingdom of Sential. Looking at the sky before taking a deep breath. He heard footsteps from behind him. Turning his head to see the Knight of Sential possessing the purple gemstone that hangs from her neck. Her hair blowing in the same direction the wind dances as the look on her face remains serious no matter the storms that come their way.
"Greetings Prince Heckyl. May I ask what you may be attempting to do?" She spoke as she clapped her hands behind her back as she raised her eyebrow as a smirk appeared on her face.
'Hello Lady Kendall. I am just looking at the river below" The prince says turning his head to look below him.
"Oh, is that all you are doing your highness?"
"....." She was correct, The Prince was doing more than admiring the sea below his very feet. He was going to end the road that lived upon right in that very moment. The road was bumpy and hard to continue on. With the abuse his mother does to him after the tragic death of his father, Prince Heckyl has had enough of it.
"You do realize if you do it you are leaving behind pain" Lady Kendall spoke as she stepped behind the prince with a serious expression on her face.
"No one will care if I leave this earth Lady Kendall"
"You are incorrect your highness I will" She, said as Prince Heckyl turned his head to face her.
"Though you have come across many storms through your life. Along with the abuse of Queen Hazek. I am quite surprised you managed to last that long without going mad" Lady Kendall said as he chuckled.
"Because I have you at my side"
"Exactly. Who will be by your at when you jump?" She said leaving Prince Heckyl to be thought.
"I will always be by your side your highness. Though you may think this is the answer it is not' It will not just affect you it effects the people you are leaving. Leaving broken hearts is not the answer. If you cannot overcome the storms that come your path you are weak" Lady Kendall spoke
Prince Heckyl looked at the knight with his eyebrows straightened. He hated being shown as a weakling. Though he had powers he still hated being shown as a weak alien who let's others walk on him like he is a carpet. He slowly walked over the railing that the knight was behind. He looked down at Lady Kendall with a smile.
"Thank you for saving me..I owe you one" He whispered as he wrapped his arms around her waist puling her into a hug.
"That's what a loyal friend is for your highness" she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck resting her head on his shoulder closing her eyes.
"Please..Call me Heckyl"
The prince was watching his loyal knight train. He admired all of his knights especially Lady Kendall. She is the only female of his knights. Her backstory on how she earned her amethyst gemstone and how she became a knight is unknown but he does not worry about that.
He witnessed one of the knights slashing their sword across her cheek making a long bloody dripping scar appear on her cheek. Then she was kicked to the ground with the boot of a male knigt stepping on her chest with her looking up with her teeth grited.
"Look who is on the ground this time Lady Kendall.." He spoke as the female knight jumped to her feet making the male knight fall to the ground. Other knights surrounded her with swords in hands. When this happens Heckyl never stepped in but since Lady Kendall was injured from the torture of his mother he had to step in.
"That is enough" He said as the knights looked towards him. They all sood straight then bowed. Prince Heckyl walked in front of his best friend.
"Thank you your high- I mean Heckyl"
"I Owe you one correct?"
