Work Text:
The group sat down on their seats, all of them excited for the game that was about to start. Jisung didn't quite like that his friends had sat him next to Hyunjin of all people but he managed to ignore the boy to the best of his habilities and focus on his boyfriend Kyungsoo, sitting on his other side distracted by the phone.
Jisung hoped it would only be before the game but it turned out his boyfriend had decided to stay glued to the device, ignoring every single thing happening around him, leaving Jisung with no one to talk as he would NOT do so with... ugh... Hyunjin.
He never knew what was the deal between them two, just that Hyunjin hated him so he decided to hate Hyunjin back which... granted was hard when he had a massive crush on the tall boy. But quickly it faded with all the attitudes they started having towards eachother. Or so he liked to think.
- You okay? — Jisung jumped slightly at the voice, looking at Hyunjin who didn't move his eyes away from what was happening in the field.
- Y-yeah. I'm fine. — Jisung shrugged with a small frown that was replaced by a smile once the taller had put his bag of popcorn in front of him, letting him take some.
To Jisung, that was weirdly sweet coming from the boy by his left, but he didn't feel to be in a place to complain. So he just ate the popcorn he was given.
- If you're hungry you could've asked me, you didn't have to go around taking people's snacks, it's rude.
Hearing his boyfriend's words made Jisung drop the popcorns, giving the pack back to Hyunjin. He missed the way how the taller was throwing weird glares at his boyfriend.
For the rest of the game's first part Jisung was quiet and mostly still. He didn't want to upset Kyungsoo, he knew better than that. Not that his boyfriend would hurt him or anything. But it wouldn't be the first time he would hear harsh words thrown his way. How he was always messing things up, how Kyungsoo understood why Jisung's ex left him and how his own ex wouldn't behave like that. But it was okay. Jisung was... used to it, sadly.
Hyunjin on the other hand had been ready to punch the guy ever since he stumbled upon him berating Jisung. He just hated Kyungsoo with every fiber on his body. Probably because.. he hurt Jisung. I guess you could say all the "hatred" Hyunjin supposedly felt for Jisung was nothing more than a cover up for the feelings he had for the shorter. He doesn't know why he started doing it, he could be the one holding the boy in his arms but instead he looked from the sidelines as his crush was not treated like he deserved by some random guy.
The end of the first part came around, along with a kiss cam. Jisung had always found this things really funny and, sometimes, even sweet. And he had always wished he could be one of those sweet and cute couples that made everyone else wish to be them.
So Jisung, after being told off for laying his head on Kyungsoo's shoulder (as he apparently was "busy with something"), watched the couples go through the kiss cam, a sweet old couple that shared the most innocent of kisses, a man and a woman that he assumed were family as they seemed disgusted with the idea of kissing, another young couple in which one of the girls stood up and held her girlfriend by the waist, tilting her as to give a dramatic kiss and lastly... he was on camera with Kyungsoo along with him.
Jisung tapped his boyfriend's shoulder excitedly, but the other male just waved him off, going back on his phone for lord knows what reason.
- Hey Jisung?
Said boy looked to the side feeling soft plush lips on his almost immediately. Hyunjin was kissing him. And Jisung, for a moment, let himself go and kiss back. The two only pulled away when they felt something being poured over them, a soda, courtesy of Kyungsoo who cussed at Jisung before leaving.
- I think I'm single.. — Jisung made himself and Hyunjin giggle before the taller held his hand.
- No you're not.
And that's how they found themselves kissing once again.
