Chapter Text
It was dark out—almost pitch black—as the people of Musutafu slept peacefully, the moon's crystallized glare watching over them as they comfortably rested their eyes. All but a certain green-headed protagonist, his soft, curly, green locks stuck to his face, the sweat resting on his forehead acting as glue as he tossed and turned in his sleep.
"No," he muttered softly as he began to shake slightly, his hands moving to tightly grip the purple panda-patterned sheet above him, sheltering him from the cold night breeze that entered through his still-opened dorm room window. Suddenly, his mouth flew open as he screamed silently for help.
Chocolate brown eyes fluttered open as the now awoken boy quickly sat up in bed, his chest rising and falling as he panted, trying to catch his breath. His back rested on the bed as his chocolate brown eyes scanned over the slightly lit room (thanks to the moon's glare), seemingly looking for any sign of danger. Though he must not have found any as he signed tiredly, rubbing his barely visible eyebags as his shoulders relaxed slightly.
He yawned, still sleepy, as he laid back down in bed, his head resting on the pillow beneath him as he comfortably positioned himself. The only thing keeping his face from actually touching the pillow was the pillowcase that lay above it; the pillowcase matched the blanket that still comfortably lays on top of him. The only difference that the two have is the colour, as the blanket is purple while the pillowcase is green, both holding the same panda pattern. Also matching the teddy bear that lays on the ground, forgotten for now as the chocolate brown-eyed boy let his eyes close in the silence of the night, knowing that if he didn't, he would regret it tomorrow.
So for the first time since he left his home town, he let himself fall into a deep slumber, waiting for whatever life had in store for him.
