Chapter Text

In the large empty throne room stood a Hajin in the middle of his youth, a minister holding papers in his hand. He began to read them aloud before the great throne, "Our communication with the middle empire has been cut off due to the recent disruption of the sub-urban. If the situation continues, you must visit and see what you can do." The young minister’s face did not hide his nerves to the figure sitting on the throne, quietly eating cherries and listening carefully.
"Okay, I'll see what I can do. Go and finish your work or do whatever you want." the woman sitting on the throne replied.

The minister left the room with a smile; he knew that it went as perfectly as he’d hoped. He walked down the palace corridor, contemplating the clear air and the cherry buds falling softly in the middle of the large garden. Outside one of the windows, he found a place to sit and began to think. How long has it been since she was crowned? Ah, two thousand years. Yes, two thousand and nine years of prosperity and improvement. I almost find it difficult that this little one became the Queen who fixed the mistakes of the previous Queen! I remember everything as if it happened yesterday. She is truly worthy of her title, The Rebellious Queen.

A young girl wakes from her deep sleep. She stretches and removes traces of drowsiness from her eyes. She washes her face, brushes her teeth, and combs her beautiful white hair. On her way to the dining room, the girl is suspicious of the presence of crystals around her, and she notices the strangest thing about the house... it’s silent. Usually, the house comes to life at sunrise, but it is already nine a.m. and silent! When she gets to the dining room, she’s shocked that the table is exactly as it was yesterday; even the food is fresh and warm as if she had just left the table a few moments ago. “Nice try, but you won't fool the Unique Zatara! Ha-ha-ha!!" But there was no reply.

"Okay, guys, did I really upset you for leaving the table in the middle of an argument? It had to be that way, so my sister could speak comfortably." But to no avail, total silence remained.

Zatara’s thoughts rush through her mind. Have they gone to the garden? But this does not explain the dishes on the table. Why is dinner still warm? Has no time passed? Perhaps I am dreaming. With all her might, she slaps her cheeks with both hands, causing her blue eyes to become teary from the pain and her cheeks to swell; she presses on them to relieve the pain. She realizes she’s not dreaming, so she decides to visit the garden. It is possible that her brother is joking, but the house is covered in beautiful crystals. “What the hell is going on here? What are these crystals covering everything in our house?”

The girl panics and runs out of the house but is shocked to see that everything outside has changed. The streets are no longer dirt tracks but black matter instead, and they’re tidy. The houses are standing proud and in good condition. The only thing that appears unchanged is the poverty. Confusion possesses the girl. She turns home and yells, "Guys, you’ve really screwed up this prank! You're starting to piss me off! And you know it's not a wise move to upset me."

She heads to the garden of the house, takes a stone from the sidewalk, and throws it into the house, shouting, "This is not funny, god damn you! Show yourselves! Mom, Dad, Mark is exaggerating his prank, and you’re all starting to worry me!" Her breath begins to fasten, and her eyes widen, a clear sign of panic and confusion.

“Are you alright, young one? You seemed panicked.” A question disturbs the fog in Zatara’s mind. “Huh? I don’t know! I am just trying to comprehend what is going on.” she replies and points at her house. “These crystals cover most of my house, and I know it’s a wicked prank from one of my eldest brothers as punishment.”

The woman’s face beside her is filled with fear, “Is that your house? You are one of the Al-mase family?!” she asked again, “What is your name, if may I ask, young one?”
“Huh? Yes, my name is Zatara Qatani Al-mase, the eldest daughter of Manasori Al-mase. Do you seriously not know who I am? You’re certainly new here because this is the first time I’ve seen your face!”

Zatara replies with nervous laughter as she scratches the back of her head. But her anxious expression quickly leaves her face as she realizes the horrified look in the woman’s eyes. Zatara asks, “Hey, if my brother has sent you to complete his prank, then fuck off because you really can’t help me, and you’re only making me more annoyed.”

“DON’T YOU REALIZE YOU ARE BEING PRANKED?! YOU HAVE BEEN CRYSTALLIZED OVER TIME! THERE IS NO BIGGER PROOF THAN THE CHANGE IN THE STREETS! THE PEOPLE HERE DON’T KNOW YOU EVEN EXIST; YOUR FAMILY’S NAME IS ONLY MENTIONED IN FOLKTALES!” the woman screams.
Zatara’s face falls blank. “What generation are you?”
“I am from generation thirteen.”

Zatara can’t quite understand how this has happened. She tries to take a step forward but falls on her back.

Chapter Text

When Zatara opens her eyes, she finds herself lying in a hospital bed with wires attached to her body. “What? Did I pass out? That’s a first.”
“I know, Lady. You passed out due to the shock, and you were in no state to wander on the go after breaking free from crystallization; it’s dangerous! You sure are lucky that the internal bleeding happened initially, so we managed to heal you.” says a nurse writing notes.

“Now, we both know we don’t die no matter how much we bleed. Even if, by chance, I were beheaded, you’d simply just reattach my head in time, and I’d be fine.” Zatara says while she observes the room. It appears to be a private room, a VIP room isolated from other patients. There’s not much furniture, only her bed, a companion chair, and a small bathroom.

“We need to test the amount of crystallization in your blood because it is a miracle how you moved right after becoming crystallized.” the nurse says with an irritating tone, clearly annoyed. Zatara can’t understand why the nurse has this attitude toward her; did they force him to nurse her? Was he the only one available? She really wants to talk to him about it because it’s bothering her, but her body hurts.

As the nurse said, she had awoken from a crystallized state; a state only a Hajin takes when in deep physical or mental damage to protect itself and is not harmed by the surroundings until fully healed. She can feel the sharp crystalline blood cells running in her veins. She notices her bruised chest and arms from moving suddenly after breaking free, but she knows these will fade moments after the crystals dissolve from her body.

The real questions plaguing Zatara’s mind are, how did I get crystallized in the first place, and for such a long time? Did no one try to break me free all these years? Where is my family; where did they go? I wonder if any of them are still alive. Is one of them responsible? There’s too much going on in her head that her breath starts to fasten, her eyes widen, and her ears perk up high, all signs of panicking. But she tries her best not to submit this time and instead composes herself.

“Are you alright? Breathe slowly, and try to ca-” the nurse tries to aid her, but he is afraid of the stare Zatara is giving him; her eyes are filled with rage, and she looks like she is about to attack him. He stands still, hands down behind his back, ears up alert, and slowly walks out of the room while keeping his eyes on her.

Zatara has no idea why she’s acting like this toward him. Is it because of the panic attack? She thought to herself. “Something bad is going on. Something happened, and I can’t remember...err...but nothing happened. All I did was go to sleep. It can’t be a prank from my eldest brother; he isn’t that much of a jerk to go this far. Urh, that’s it! Once I can move my body without discomfort, I will get out of this hospital!” she lays back down on her bed, waiting for anything to happen. She can hardly move, and she has no idea how long it’ll take to heal. She is bored and frustrated. “I am so hungry! Wait, was I aggressive because I am hungry? That must be it!” she says aloud.

She feels bad for the nurse but brushes it off. She still thinks the nurse was annoying with his attitude and gaze, so she decides no apology is needed when she next sees him. She spends the last hour staring at the ceiling in deep thought, imagining what happened that night. She tries to delve deep into her memories to extract much of what she can remember, but to no avail. All she remembers is walking to her bed and going to sleep. Then she tries to remember what her father told her during one of their many strolls together.

“Zatara, my girl. Have you ever wondered what happens to a Hajin when they’re crystallized? Do you know that it sometimes happens against their will? It is dangerous for us to free them from their prison

because we might hurt them, not help them. That’s why this job is for the entities, especially the emperor entity, as it can easily break one’s prison and seal them at their will.” This memory wasn’t anything useful, except for making her realize that the entity did not try to help her. Why?
The room’s door opens, and a male enters with the moody nurse; it’s the doctor. “Zatara Al- mass, the eldest daughter of the Al-mase family, you are recovering fast, and that’s a good sign. However, you are showing signs stres-”

“Yeah, I’m so hungry and would like to eat anything that will stop my stomach growling and deactivate my kill drive.” Zatara interrupts the doctor. She has never liked how they speak so formally and in longed-out sentences.
“You are aware of your situation, right?” the doctor asks, with a wide face showing his surprise at how calm she is.

“Well, I was crystallized for over, what, four generations? Should I be depressed about it? There is no point because I’ve only just got out of it, and I know nothing about what happened to my family. I just want to go back to my home and see for myself if they are crystallized somewhere-”

“I need to ask you why you put yourself into a crystallized state?
Zatara looks at the doctor and says, “I swear to whatever you believe in, I DID NOT CRYSTALLIZE MYSELF. All I did was go to sleep because I wanted to let my tw... er, brothers talk freely as my father caught one of them in a relationship he disapproves of. I always hate discussing these topics, so I excused myself, hoping they’d solve the problem.”

The doctor is confused, “Of course we need to run further tests, but the crystals around your home have your DNA code; it’s your doing. Zatara, what happened there that made you so stressed that you felt you had to force a crystallized state?”

“GOD DAMN IT, I TOLD YOU I DO NOT KNOW. IN WHAT LANGUAGE YOU WANT ME TO SAY IT?!” she replies angrily. She knows she is telling the truth and adds, “I KNOW there is something going on, and you’re all afraid of the consequences of informing me. So, please spare me the stall and remove these bandages quickly.”

The doctor knows that Zatara would feel the stress aura outside the hospital. He can see that she is struggling to remain calm with her erratic, aggressive behavior and panic attacks; yet, he knows that losing his cool here and explaining it to her is no option. He replies, “The situation now is not easy for anyone. The people have rebelled against the Queen and killed the royal family - ending the royal bloodline. And as the Emperor entity law states, when starting a new bloodline that will rule the kingdom, the eldest female takes the throne and will begin creating their own blood heirs. You do realize you are the eldest female chronically, if not biologically?”

“Are you listening, Zatara?” the nurse asks, looking at Zatara’s stern facial expression.
“Are you fucking telling me the people killed the goddamn Queen and her children? Now I am to rule? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? I’M NOT THE BEST PERSON FOR THIS JOB!”

Chapter Text

Five days have passed since Zatara spoke with the doctor. She refuses to let anyone else in her room; anyone who dares is welcomed with a solid kick to the ribs, even breaking them; she will not hold back. However, what concerns everyone is that Zatara has yet to eat anything since she has been released from her state; she is beginning to starve, and her powers must be fading. They are surprised to see her standing on both legs, fully alert and ready to fight. They have no choice but to wait for her to calm down, but she will likely collapse from starvation before that happens.
On Zatara’s sixth morning in the hospital, a young child is curiously wandering the hallways alone. The child laughs at the sight of the doctor and the five nurses piled over each other from exhaustion, failing to negotiate with whatever is behind the door and the unsettling aura it’s giving off. The young child sees that the door is open, and he innocently takes a step inside. He’s about to take another when the doctor sees him, but he fails to grab him before he disappears. “Wait - oh no!” the doctor screams. He knows that Zatara will beat down anyone who enters, no matter who it is, and he will not allow such an incident on his ward.
He enters the room, using plates he grabbed off a nearby trolley as temporary armor. He braces his body in expectation of ruthless kicks from the aggressive female, but he is greeted with a different scenario.

“So, why are you angry?” the boy asks Zatara. Sniffing the air and pulling a disgusted face, he continues, “Eeww, why do you smell so bad? Are you playing some sort of war game? Can I join?!” he continues to ask to the now calm female who is just sitting on her bed, smiling innocently at the child. The child doesn’t seem to be aware of the situation he is in and has no fear, too young to understand fear.

“Well, little one, the doctor was a big meanie! He wants me to forget about my past and take responsibility for many people who don’t care about me. So, I’m on strike! That’s what humans call it, right?” Zatara replies with a relaxed expression. She adds, “And I am very, VERY hungry. I haven’t eaten in forever; I crave juicy, tender meat.” she drools as she says this, and the child laughs at her obvious exhausted face. The doctor is relieved to hear this; he had forgotten that Zatara is a female Hajin, and it’s in their instinct to turn off violent mode and be protective and warm whenever they see vulnerable creatures of any race, even younger males of their own kind. Despite their gentle and caring nature, female Hajin remain more dangerous than the males, who tend to be docile and peaceful.

Zatara notices the doctor standing in the doorway and shows her fangs at him. “Get the hell out of my room! I don’t want my freedom to be taken away by a bunch of jerks who criticize everything-”
“-Zatara, I am not here to talk about that. Please, just calm down, eat something, and let us help you.” “Starvation will not kill us; we are semi-immortals. If I continue to starve my body, I will end up crystallized, and that’s the point.” she finishes as she pats the child’s head, and her stomach growls loudly. She slowly closes her eyes, “Hey, kid, you asked your questions, now it’s my turn to ask. Why are you in the hospital; are you visiting someone?”
“My mom is in the hospital. She is in a deep sleep because she is tired. She is waiting for someone to help her.”
“What kind of help does she need?”
The boy just shrugs, and Zatara stares at the doctor. He knows what she wants and answers her, “The mother of this child is in need of blood from a specific generation, and we had difficulty finding one for her. We have now found someone, but we’re waiting for her to pay.”

Zatara widened her eyes. “Pay? Isn’t this a government-run hospital? It’s supposed to be free for civilians, and where is this child’s father to help the mother?”
“He is an asexual-birthed child; the mother is single with financial issues, and it’s difficult for her, judging from the situation outside.” Zatara knows that female Hajin are capable of having children asexually under certain circumstances. She looks at the child, trying her best not to lose her cool because of the nonsense she just heard.
“Hey, little boy, what is your name?” Zatara asks with a big smile masking her tired face.

“My name is Karaba, Karaba Sarie. I am ten years old, but in forty more years, I can change my shape to look like you! I want to be a strong warrior-class Hajin!” the child replies with more excitement than necessary.
Zatara lets out a strong laugh, “AHAHA! Atta boy, but being warrior-class isn’t just about being strong and looking cool. It means you have a very precious person that you want to protect, like, umm, like- ” Zatara pauses to let the child finish her sentence.
“-My mom, of course! She said I am her most precious boy and, one day, I will make her proud.” Zatara smiles and pats the child’s head, “Indeed, she’ll be proud when she knows her brave boy calmed an angry monster and made friends with it!” She stared at the doctor, “I will pay for what Karaba’s mother needs; just do everything you can to make her better and see her son.” The doctor doesn’t know what to say and remains stationary in his place, trying to understand the sudden change in Zatara’s mood from ready to kill to absolutely calm, as if she wasn’t walking with unbridled rage. All because of a child. “Why are you still here? GO!”
“YES!” the doctor responds, and he leaves the room to prepare the blood transfer.

The transfer is successful, and Karaba’s mother regains her strength. She is conscious most of the time and calls for her son to visit her. The child joyfully returns to his mother while Zatara watches with a big smile. He is a sweet child, and before she leaves to return to her room, he calls, “I love your side-bangs, Lady! What is your name? Are you going to visit us again?”
“Firstly, they’re called sideburns, and I don’t intend to leave them this short - I look ugly! Secondly, I will be honest; I probably will not see you again. But, don’t worry, if you want my help, just come to me and whisper the secret word.”

“Secret word?” the boy asks. Zatara whispers it to him, and he laughs. Zatara leaves the room and starts to walk around the hospital. She notices many sick Hajin, most of which are children of poor families who have abandoned them in hospital.

As she walks around, she reaches the cafeteria, and her stomach starts to rumble again, so loudly that silence engulfs the cafeteria until a laugh breaks it.
“Ha-ha! Yeah, you could starve for thousands of years!”
“I bet y’all are too afraid of hunger that you don’t dare to fast for twenty hours!” Zatara replies with a bitter tone. Sitting amongst them is a Hajin who invites her over.
“You seem upset; join us for lunch.”
“I will accept if you apologize.” she intends to start a fight, but truth be told, she is too exhausted and hungry to move an inch. Ignoring her attempt, the Hajin tries again.

“What would you like to eat? Today we are celebrating the success of the rebellion, and we have an open buffet! I do recommend the new dish we created called Everlasting Peace. It’s red rice with deep- fried poultry.”
“R-Red rice? Is that a traditional dish around here?” Zatara replies.

“Yes, it is. Since we’re beginning a new era, why not change some recipe names and improve them? Come on, try it; you’ll love it! Have it with some buttermilk and yogurt; it’ll be amazing.” grins the Hajin while handing Zatara the already-prepared dish. Zatara looks at the dish and is surprised at its appearance and smell! She can smell the tomatoes, lemon, and other ingredients that remind her of home. The rice is so perfectly orange-red that she drools. “Oh my god, I bet the texture is amazing!” she says as she takes a mouthful.

“You can feel the tingle of spice!” Zatara’s face begins to widen in surprise, and she hardly chews her meal. Starving, she drinks the whole cup in a hurry as if her life depends on it. “What IS that?! Did you put fire in this dish?!” Zatara shouts after hardly swallowing the large bite.
“Was the dish too spicy for you?” asks the Hajin.
“Spicy? Is that how spicy tastes? Wait, is that what the flavor is?” Zatara replies, adding, “I can taste now? How? I didn’t think we had the sense of taste?” She is confused. Hajin have strong senses: incredible vision enables them to see in the dark, a strong nose, and a strong body that can heal twice as fast as an average being. But all that comes with the price of weak taste buds, so weak that their food contains additional flavoring just to slightly taste anything. Instead, they tend to enjoy the texture of their food and are grateful if they can taste the slightest hint of flavor.
“Over the years, someone managed to create very special soil that provides its produce with ten times more flavor. It enables us to taste as if we are humans. The livestock eats the vegetables grown in that soil, so that you can taste the meat too! But it is bad for humans to consume; they’ll suffer a stroke as a result of the rich nutrients it contains.” The friendly Hajin answers.
“So, you’re telling me I can taste anything?” Zatara questions.
“Yes, Lady, anything! Is there something you have in mind?”
“Indeed, I have always wanted to have the pleasure of having this as my very first dessert, and then I can live in peace...” Zatara replies with her eyes wide open and a big smile.
“What is it, Lady? Tell me.”
“Black marble red cherry cheesecake!”
“That’s oddly specific, but lucky for you, we have some left. After all, cherries are our biggest source of income.”

The Hajin left to bring Zatara’s requested dessert while she determined to finish the overwhelming spicy dish. She manages to finish her plate and follows it with an entire cup of water. The Hajin returns with the dessert and places it in front of Zatara. “Here it is! One slice of cherry ripple cheesecake with coffee; enjoy the sour-”
“Don’t spoil the surprise! I want to discover it myself!” Zatara interrupts the Hajin about to describe the taste. Her behavior surprises him, but he can clearly see that the woman before him is recovering from crystallization. I’m sure she hasn’t had the chance to learn the changes of this era, he thought to himself.

Zatara takes one bite.

Chapter Text

Zatara swallows her first bite and is ready to shovel in another spoonful when her vision begins to blur.
“Are you alright? Is it bad? I assure you it’s freshly baked today!” the friendly Hajin asks, concerned. Zatara doesn’t answer at all. Instead, she wipes her face and continues slowly eating the dessert; she appears to be enjoying it.
“I always wondered what cherry tastes like. I always eat them, and I love their texture; smooth yet solid with a faintly sweet smell. My father owns a large farm, and cherries are his best-selling crop. I often run around the trees when they’re in bloom; I just love how the blossoms smell and their perfect mix of white and pink....” Zatara trails off as she remembers her family. Feeling a little homesick, she wants to leave, but she knows it won’t be that easy in her current state.
“Say, you look like someone who’s just got out of a crystallization state, am I right? What made you do it?” asks the Hajin who gave Zatara the dessert.
She looks at him and says, “I swear to you, I did not crystallize myself. At first, I thought it was a twisted prank from one of my brothers. But now, looking at my surroundings, I don’t think this is a prank. I am trying to understand what is going on.”

The Hajin looks at her with sorrow; he understands how she feels. “Listen, have you received the DNA results from the crystals? They can tell if the crystals were your doing just from the DNA.”
“Actually, no. I didn’t think about it; I was too angry fighting the doctor for the last few days.” Zatara replies, and the Hajin widens his face in surprise.
“So, you’re the patient from Room 505?!”
“Huh? How do you know my room number?”
“Oh my god, it is you! You are on everyone’s tongue at this hospital; you caused quite the scene, ha- ha!” the Hajin replies with joy and puts out his hand, “I didn’t introduce myself, my apologies. My name is Brisk, and I am here because my wife and I are expecting our first child.”

She shakes his hand, “Zatara, Zatara Al-mase. I do hope your wife has a safe birth and a healthy child. But next time you introduce yourself, do not give the reason why you’re here unless asked. It’s personal...”
“It’s not personal; it’s called opening a conversation. You are, after all, the rebellious patient.”
“The wh-what? You already gave me a name? Never mind, I don’t want to fight over this. I hope your wife doesn’t have a hard time.” Zatara feels awkward. She has mixed feelings and doesn’t know why. Brisk rolls his eyes.

“You didn’t want to get into personal matters, but I take responsibility since I gave you the information. To be honest, I am in trouble. I don’t have enough money to pay our hospital bill, and I am already in debt. Not to mention my son’s needs.”
Zatara stops eating her dessert and closes her eyes, “You are such a stupid fuck! Taking care of a child is too much work for someone in your situation! Your child requires both parents’ attention and care! The mother alone isn’t enough, and the child will grow to hate you because of your debts and being too busy to pay for them!” Zatara replies with an annoyed tone.
Brisk understands that she is angry and wants to steam it out, so he does not get angry and calmly replies, “That is my choice. I did think I was ready, and I didn’t want to miss my chance to marry my partner and start a family.”
Zatara hits the table angrily. “You are not a human! You can live thousands of years! You can start a family when you are stable in every way! But now you have to see your family suffer, know your child feels he is not loved, asking themself why you gave birth to them if you have no time for them.” Zatara feels her anger increase more and more, “You are stupid! And I thought that as the generations progress, we’d have better choices.” Zatara sighs and leans on her palms, thinking to herself, why the

hell do I care for him and his choices? He is not my relative or anyone I even know! This feeling of care is stupid.
“Zatara, it’s not like I had a choice. The financial status of this kingdom has rapidly gone downhill; even if I waited a thousand years, nothing would have changed because the Queen was corrupt and took all of the kingdom’s riches for herself.”
“Ah yes, the rebellion. I had totally forgotten about it. How disturbing to think how they killed the Queen and her heirs....” Zatara replies, calming ever so slightly.
“Yes, I actually got to see it myself; it was terrifying. But we needed that rebellion in the hope of fixing the situation.”

“You know what? Fuck you!” she screams as she stands on top of the table. “HEY, EVERYONE! I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT – A PRESENT FOR YOU ALL! I will pay everyone’s bills in this goddamn hospital.” The room floods with sounds of gasps and whispers.
Someone shouts, “ARE YOU SERIOUS?”
“Did I stutter?” Zatara responds. “Perhaps I sound like I’m joking, but I speak the truth. I will pay for everyone! No one here will leave this hospital worrying about money.” The cafeteria roared with joy, and Zatara pointed her finger at Brisk, “Listen, I will pay all your debts and save you this time. But I dare you to have another child while you are not up to the responsibility.” She jumps off the table and walks out, leaving Brisk in shock, too stunned to speak.

Zatara walks back to her room, thinking, fuck my life. I sure hope I do not regret this. My brothers best stop this fucking prank, or I will have to spend my father’s fortune. As she reaches her room, she sees the doctor preparing for her attack, and she says, “I know, I know...I don’t care anymore. Just hope I don’t get killed the next day; I want the results of the crystals.”
“That’s what I came to tell you.” the doctor answers with hesitation and fear. He waits for her to take her place in her room and continues, “The results are confusing. It is a 95% match to you.”
“What? 95%! So, the 5% says that I didn’t crystallize myself?” Zatara questions.

“The DNA codes reveal it was you, but at the same time, it’s not a 100% match. I searched your family archives, and it appears you have a twin who died during birth.”
Zatara stomps toward the doctor and rips the paper he’s holding. “STOP LOOKING AT MY FAMILY TREE! If it’s me who did it, then it’s me. I can handle it, but don’t start this nonsense. I think I did crystallize myself, but I wasn’t aware or simply cannot remember.” she sighs, “When will you announce that I will take the throne?”
“Let’s talk about that later; you seem tired.” The doctor starts to shake from fear and doesn’t want to stay another second, so he leaves.

Zatara sits on the bed and looks at the torn-up bits of paper with tears in her eyes. “Detached from the world...dead. That’s why my parents kept you hidden inside the house walls and never allowed you to go outside its gardens. I bet knowing this must be hard, my twin.”

Chapter 5

Summary:

LORE of there world.

Chapter Text

It has been a week after the events of the hospital. the hospital kept zatara for further examinations and see how she is, in term of physical the results shows she is in great condition for her age but still in growing stage she is not fully adult but in adolescence stage.

Zatara was cooperative enough with physical tests tho she was hard to deal with when it comes to her other examination starting with the personal questions .

“ your name? “ the examiner asked and zatara replied “ Zatara Manasori Al-mase.“ , “ your full FULL name?..Lady.“ “ Are you serious it is too long for god’s sak-..ugh..never mind I always waited for this moment because it’s once in a life time…” zatara replied with a tone clears her throat and toke a breath “ I AM ZATARA MANSOURI…KHALIL QASIM HAMZAH AL-ZAHRAWI AL-MASE THE FIRST. The 27th child of my family.“ the examiner was looking at her with wide eyes “ I forgot to add none of those are my middle name I don’t have one. “ , “ alright Zatara, at what day is your birthday? “ “ 31 of December which happens that my Chinese year is the year of the rabbit my favorite animal! “ everyone agrees to decide it's a pass in this one not willing to continue if zatara will continue with this attitude.

Next was history and she was… uhhh..,

“ alright Zatara can you tell me at what year was the events of rage of the emperor entity “ the examiner asked, Zatara scuffed and said “ tsk are you serious? Even kids know what happened the first thing they learn before how to use toilet….,” “…..” the examiner was silent and stares at zatara insisting to hear an answer not arguing.

“….in year 2809 humans was at complete mess because of the events of world war 4 it was more destructive than world war 3 and 2 combined causing extinction to most lives on the planet humans were living in an independent colonies, the bitches weren’t peaceful to each other!! they were continuously raid each other like savages no mercy whatsoever….humanity and mercy was barely there…..However due to the cries of the children and the pure of hearts an entity was born answering there pleas!”

“ however the newborn entity was struck in awe of how impure the world is in and it almost makes it sick it decides no hope to straighten them and basically genocide anyone who is impure.”

That was a past the hajin race agreed to not hide the ugly truth behind the extinction of pure humans the coming generations must know the horrors and consequences when an entity get enraged since this era ruled by thee, the human race didn’t extinct in literal meaning nowadays the remaining humans are the offsprings of the ones who drank the entity’s blood since this world is dangerous for any human who have 100% human blood.

Zatara appears to know this and its safe to say yes she’ll pass but before they go to the next question Zatara quickly raised her hand and said “ however do you know why the entity raged in the first place? “, “ I’m sorry?” , “ Yes I’m asking you apparently don’t know because you didn’t say “ and? ” after I stopped…”

“ we were going to ask you how we the hajin race existed Zatara..” replied the examiner

no there is a reason why the entity done that and I will reveal The truth! before all this…massacre… its rage what made that entity do it in the first place? Because in middle of that mess before all the event thing the entity befriended a human man was truly a pure of heart the entity found it difficult to believe all that purity came from an adult human usually children are pure, the human was living away from any human contact with its family it grew fond with the human’s child making unbroken bond of the two, time passed and the entity received the first strike the human from colonies located the man’s location and raid it killing the whole man’s family ….

at the last breath of the child said it’s last wish “ I wish all the ugly things to disappear “ the entity have awoken its power unleashes it’s rage at the world

“ oh my god..thats too much graphic details how did you possessed such details??” The examiner was in deep shock for zatara know such details, “ about that easy…my father is generation zero hajin he was present at the events … rage of the entity, he is one of the first humans that turned into a hajin…”
