It was 5 at the morning. Too early to wake up, but too late to fall asleep.
The sound of closing door distracted her from the game. Hyeju was streaming. She should be sleeping and she would if Chaewon was home. But her girlfriend had a photoshoot for some commercial and for some unknown reason they needed to start it when normal people go to bed. And Hyeju couldn't fall asleep knowing that Chaewon was working. If she was completely honest she would say that she just really missed that comforting feeling of arms wrapped around her waist and sound of soft breathing near hear ear.
And since she couldn't sleep and didn't know what to do streaming sounded like a good idea. She turned on the live expecting to see hundred viewers at best, but actually a lot of people came to watch her.
It's been awhile since their grand announcement about their relationships. Fans were happy about them, well, most of them. Because everything couldn't be perfect and some people were homophobic and jealous and just gross. But it didn't bother them much. They were popular before that and they had haters too. So, nothing new happened.
"Sorry, guys, I need to do something. I'll be back in a minute." Hyeju said and walked out of the frame.
She headed to the enterance door where she saw her girlfriend standing with the bunch of bags. "You're awake." She frowned. "Why are you awake?"
"I couldn't sleep. How was the photoshoot? You must be tired." She placed soft kiss on Chaewon's lips and took bags out of her hands. "I'm streaming right now, but I can end it and we can go to sleep."
"I'm okay. I wanted to eat first and then rest. I haven't ate since yesterday's evening."
"Isn't the company supposed to feed you? You worked nonstop for 6 hours." Hyeju couldn't understand how huge cosmetic company that earned millions in hour didn't feed people who work on it.
"It is but there was some kind of a mistake so all food that they ordered was delivered to the wrong address." She walked into the kitchen and started taking food out of the bags. "I bought dumplings on the way home. Do you want some?"
"Oh, that's bad, but it's their duty to keep their employees full. What if something would happen because you didn't eat? I will sue them, it's irresponsible." Hyeju was actually angry.
"Calm down, I'm okay, nothing happened." She cupped her girlfriend's cheek.
"But..." Chaewon put her index finger on Hyeju's lips shushing her. "No buts. Go stream, I'll heat up food then we will eat and go to sleep." It was extremely sweet, the way her girlfriend was worried about her. Maybe sometimes she created problems out of nothing but it didn't change the fact that Hyeju cared that much that in her eyes slightest mistreatment of her girlfriend became the biggest crime that person could commit.
Hyeju pouted but obeyed nevertheless. She walked into the room. "I'm back." She said to the fans.
Chat by the time when Hyeju came back went wild.

Hyeju loved her fans and her friends that also watched her streams, but sometimes they were just too much. Especially Jiwoo and Sooyoung, they used public chat as their personal chat which often became a problem because they discussed things that shouldn't be discussed in front of the other people. She banned them so many times. Too many times.
"I need to say that I will be ending soon. Chaewon came back from work and wants to rest. In the meantime while she's cooking let's play Gartic Phone." It was one of her favorite activities these days. It was fun and easy to play. Just paint and guess and then have a good laugh looking at what they drew. "I will send link into the chat."
She waited some time for people to connect to the lobby that she created. Even though stream watched a lot of people it took some time to gather 20 of them who were ready to paint.
Hyeju started round and wrote 'Cat in the middle of lake' as her sentence. She quickly finished her first drawing and was looking at the chat.
ILooveLoona: Can we summon Chaewon?
Jindory: We can try
RubixCube: Chaewon! Chaewon! Chaewon!
And the whole chat started spamming her girlfriend's name. Hyeju was ready to say that they shouldn't spam and that Chaewon is tired. But then she saw comment from her.
ChaeTheNabi: Hey, babes. I'm here. Did Hyeju behave?
She chuckled. Of course this was the first question that she asked. It was so Chaewon.
Sound of the game drew her attention back to the other monitor. It was a time to describe picture that one of her fans drew.
The game flew relatively slow. Sometimes she was impressed by the talent of her own fans. Some of the pictures were the work of art.
She finished and started watching albums. Having a good laugh because some of the paintings and descriptions were ridiculous.
They came by one of the last albums where she saw that one of the fans drew her and Chaewon. It was drawing of one of the first photos that they took together. And it was so beautifully painted, that she wanted Chaewon to see it. Also fans asked to see her girlfriend since start of the stream, so it wouldn't be bad for her to show up especially if Hyeju was going to finish soon.
"Chae!" She shouted. No response. "Chaewon!" She shouted again.
"What?"
"Come here, children want to see you, also there's something I want to show you" Yes, she called her fans children. It started with a stupid meme that they discussed at the one of the lives and then it became a usual thing. It was kinda cute though.
Chaewon sometimes called her fans children too. But now it was more like their fans because after they 'came out' their fans mixed up and became one big fandom. Basically because Hyeju became huge part of her girlfriend's youtube channel and showed up almost in every vlog and video that Chaewon posted and Chaewon became a frequent guest of Hyeju's streams.
The girl walked into the room smiling. She came close to Hyeju and kissed her. Short and sweet. Then looked at the camera and said. "Hi, babies."
The chat went wild, because of both kiss and Chaewon's appearance. The amount of comments that people left was impressively big.
"What did you want me to see?"
"So we were playing Gartic Phone and looking at the albums that we drew. It's actually really cool game, you should play it with us some time. Yeah, so back to the story, so, there's this cool picture that I want you to see, so here we go." The enthusiasm that Hyeju was radiating while explaining what they were doing made Chaewon look at her girlfriend with indescribable adoration in her eyes.
"Okay, let's look at it" She sat on Hyeju's lap. Hyeju wrapped one arm around Chaewon's waist and used other to show her a drawing.
"Babies are great painters." She smiled and then leaned back and whispered into Hyeju's ear. "We should post it in insta and tag the author."
"Yeah, we definitely should." Hyeju whispered back.
"So, when are you going to finish? Food is ready." She thought for a moment and then spoke up again. "We can eat here while watching something and then end stream, if you want."
"Yeah that sounds nice."
Chaewon walked out of the room and moment later came back with two plates in her hands.
"What do you want to watch?"
"Whatever you want." She gave one plate to Hyeju and sit beside her on the chair.
At that moment it looked like they weren't streaming but having their usual meal. It was a usual sight for fans, at first it was strange but they got used to it because it was extremely sweet and gave them bunch of moments that they later used in fan edits.
Hyeju turned on some video with cute cats because she knew that her girlfriend liked them.
They ate, laughed and talked to fans. When clock struck 6 in the morning they bid their goodbyes and ended stream. Hyeju went to wash dishes while Chaewon went to shower. 20 minutes later both of them were in bed ready to fall asleep while other people were just waking up.
"I love you." Chaewon breathed out near Hyeju's ear.
"I love you too." Hyeju replied drifting off.
