It was an exceptionally quiet day at Family Video. Few customers knowing what they wanted. Little things to do, they need to just sorted a few videotapes and clean up a little. However, there was something off, something specific about the silence, namely that Steve wasn’t talking.
„What’s up with you today, man?” Robin asked, bored sitting in front of the computer.
„Nothing” Steve replied, he was sitting next to her, examining the "Back to the Future" cassette.
„Come on, I can tell that something’s wrong. You’re quiet as a mouse” Robin encouraged him.
Steve sighed, looking around making sure that no one is in the store. „I had situations with Eddie yesterday” he said, specifies nothing.
Of course, the girl was one of the few who knew about Steve's relationship with Eddie. She’s actually the first person to whom Steve revealed this "secret".
Officially, Eddie and Steve had been together for less than two months. Unofficially they felt something for each other since Upside Down shit. Steve was pretty sure Nancy knew already, maybe Dustin or Max suspected something.
„Oh my god. What happened?” Robin asked worried, she seemed much more awake than a second before.
The day before, Steve had just spontaneously visited Eddie, as is the case when you're in a relationship with someone.
The Munsons got a new trailer after Eddie was cleared of murder charges, but it was still in the same trailer park.
Steve's BMW’s lacquer gleamed in the summer sun. All the windows in the car were open, it was so fucking hot. Steve was wearing shorts and a thin navy blue T-shirt. He was curious what Eddie, who religiously must always wear leather, was wearing right in that moment.
Steve got out of his car and walked to the trailer door. There he could already hear heavy metal. He rang the bell a few times, maybe Eddie hears at least one.
The music faded slightly, the door opened a few centimeters. Eddie made a quick look to make sure it was Steve and quickly pulled him by the collar inside.
„What a nice surprise” he said as Steve smirked.
They started kissing right away. Harrington was delighted to find that Eddie was wearing a slightly oversized black top and very short shorts. These shorts looked like something in which cheerleaders practice or like something a little looser then boxer underwear. Anyway, Steve liked it very much.
„Nice outfit” he even commented it in between kisses.
„You like what you can see?” Eddie pushed him against the kitchen counter.
„Yeah, and that this view is for my eyes only” Steve replied, sliding his hand under Munson's shorts, touching his thigh.
Eddie snorted shortly and without further talking he started making hickies on Steve’s throat.
Harrington noticed that Eddie had a thing to show that Harrington was his. For some time now, one of Eddie's rings that he slipped on Steve's finger never comes off, and there must always be a hickey somewhere on Steve. And to tell the truth, Steve was fine with it, he even found it pretty fucking hot.
God everything that day were so damn hot. There were three fans in the trailer and it was still so deadly hot.
Eddie wrapped Steve's legs around his waist as he continued kissing him. Steve grabbed and pulled the other’s hair because he wanted to taste his hot lips again. Eddie obeyed nicely and kissed his lips again. Munson tasted like cigarettes mixed with weed, very sexy, according to Steve.
Their erections rubbed against each other, both of them moan loudly.
„Bed” Harrington managed to say in between kisses.
„Sounds good to me” Eddie replied, panting slightly. Steve could feel him smirking against his lips.
Steve jumped off the kitchen counter to go Eddie's room and he dragged the other boy behind him.
Entering the room, Eddie slammed the door behind him, Steve walked over to the record player and turned up the music, he know that’s turning Eddie on. Munson was beside him in the blink of an eye, pushing him against the bed. It was clunky but also so fucking exciting. Eddie straddled Steve's thighs easily, Harrington’s back against the wall. All this time they kissed with such passion that sometimes their teeth hit each other.
Steve told Robin briefly about it.
„Okay and what's the problem?” Robin asked confused.
„I’m getting there” Steve replied with a disconsolate expression.
He sighed and added not looking the girl in the eyes „So he’s on top of me and it is hot hot hot. He says "Come on sweetheart take it off" so i take it off and we take it off. And his uncle walked in”
„Shit, his uncle walked in?“ Robin nearly jumped up in her chair, hitting the counter with her hand. „Oh my God, what did he do when he saw you two? Please, tell me that you haven't taken all your clothes off up to this point”
Steve took off his own T-shirt and also took off Eddie's top. So they only stayed in shorts. The fan in Eddie's room blows air straight on them, making Munson's hair flow gracefully in the wind.
God, he looks so beautiful and handsome, Steve thinks.
" And I can't get enough of you, baby
Can you get enough of me? " the music is loud from the record player.
They are both hard as rocks, Steve slipped his hands into Eddie's hair „How do we do it today?” he asked, slightly impatiently.
„I’m gonna ride you” Eddie replied between kisses, he always knew what he wanted in bed, it's sexy.
„Yeah, do it” Steve almost whined back.
Eddie was already moving his hands to grab his shorts to slide them off when the door to his room swung open loudly.
„Ed, turn that music down at least a little! Oh…” his uncle stood in the doorway.
They both got scared as if the Demogorgon showed up there instead of Eddie’s uncle. Steve instinctively quickly embraced his boyfriend, pressing him against his chest as if it would save him from some danger. Eddie, on the other hand, let out a short shout of terror.
„Sorry, I ... I will go smoke outside” his uncle added quickly, looking away from them and closing the door.
Eddie and Steve stared at the door a moment longer like a deers at the headlights.
Then Eddie started laughing and fell off the bed to the floor.
„Oh my good” Steve said quickly getting out of bed, carefully not to step on Eddie, and turning down the music.
Eddie squirmed on the floor with laughter.
„What so funny?” Steve asked concerned.
„If you could see your face” he snorted. „You turned pale like Jason from Friday the 13th came here or something”
The other one was surprised, he more expected Eddie to be having some weird panic attack then that.
„Don't you worry that he found out?” Steve asked quietly, because after all it’s such a big secret.
„Found out about what?” Eddie asked like a fool, leaning his elbows on the floor.
Steve's lips moved but at first nothing came out „Like…” he gestured with his hands „you with guy, we both guys”
Eddie laughed again „Man, he has known for years. You're not the first boy he caught me with”
„Oh…” Steve didn't show that the last sentence made him a little bit jealous.
„That’s great. And what are you worried about? I wish my family were as chilled as his uncle” Robin commented, still not seeing what had upset Steve about the whole thing.
„I'm worried he won't like me” the boy replied.
„His uncle?” Rob asked, not knowing what he meant.
„Oh my God, I explain it to you using the example of Nancy and her parents” he sighed. „So when Nancy stated she would introduce me to her parent I thought I was going to pass out there, in front of them. I have no idea what to do to show myself as a good guy. Should I bring Eddie’s uncle flowers or should I say him that if something happened, I would happily sacrifice my life for Eds? He's going to think I'm crazy” Steve said quickly and slapped his forehead against the counter.
Robin just blinked at him „If you have these two options, better do nothing”
„His uncle gonna think I’m rude than” Steve replied without looking up.
„Better if he thinks you're shy and a little bit rude, than thinks you're planning some Romeo and Juliet style freaking suicide!” the girl hissed at him in a whisper.
The doorbell for a customer's entrance rang through the store. Robin and Steve both straightened up quickly and looked up.
„Are you not closing yet?” Eddie standing in front of the door asked, looking at the clock on the wall behind them.
It was after six in the afternoon, which means that the video store should be closed for several minutes already.
„We almost fell asleep here” Robin replied.
„Harrington, did you forget you invited me to your place?” Eddie leaned against the counter.
Eddie was wearing a raggedy band tee, black ripped jeans, and black sneakers
„How could I?” Steve quickly said back.
Robin and Steve quickly closed the store and the three of them packed themselves into Steve's car. Harrington took the girl to her home and she wished him good luck as she said goodbye to him. Eddie had no idea why she wished Steve good luck, but he didn't bother his mind with it.
As Steve drove home, he put his hand on his boyfriend's thigh. Not that he was ashamed to do it in front of Robin, he just preferred to be tender in privacy. He could see from the corner of his eye as Eddie smiled and blushed slightly.
In Steve's quiet and empty house, they quickly got to where they end their fun the day before. The weather was quite similar but luckily, Steve's house didn’t heat up like the trailer on the sun.
No clothes, cold floor in Steve's room, closed curtains. Trojan enz lubricated condoms and a little more lube for comfort. Movement, heat, skin, sweat, moans. Closeness, desire, looking into each other's eyes. Love, touch and coming.
They are lying on the cold wooden floor, cuddled up to each other and completely naked. It feels so good. Steve is playing with Eddie's hair. Eddie relaxes with his face tucked in the hollow of Steve's neck.
Steve couldn't help but think what would happen if someone found out about their relationship for some reason. What would his parents think, for example. He was only sure that nothing good. His father would probably stop talking to him (not that it would be so different from how he acts normally) and treat ho like air. His mother would probably say something like, it will damage our reputation, no wonder your father is angry.
„Eds, how did your uncle react when he found out that you like guys?” he asked before he could stop himself.
Eddie snorted softly „Nohow”
Before Steve could ask what that meant, Eddie continued „My father caught me kissing my middle school buddy. As a punishment, he cut my hair and kicked me out of the house. My mom didn't even react. Wayne is actually the only one left from my family and he always hated my father and his stupid beliefs. Of course when I came to Wayne after what happened I told him everything and he took me under his wing”
Steve didn't expect this.
„You don't have to feel sorry for me and say how sad it is” Eddie added simply.
Steve didn't intend that, not that he didn't think it was damn sad and unfair.
„I love you so so so much Eddie” Steve hugged him tighter. „Maybe I shouldn't say it, but your parents are fucking idiots. You're one of the best people I've met in my life, who cares if you like guys… I’m mean of course I care cuz I’m your boyfriend but you know…”
Eddie smiled and rose slightly to see Steve's face. „Your so stupid sometimes” he said, giving Steve a nice, long kiss in the lips.
„I love you” Steve repeated to the mouth of the other one.
„Shut up” Eddie smiled, giving him another kiss in the corner of his lips.
„Eddie my love, I love you so” he repeated again.
„I love you too, Harrington”
