Chapter Text
It’s been around a year-and-a-half since I’ve travelled back in time to the Old Hisuian era. I have spent my time here gathering Pokemon data for the Galaxy Survey Corps. As of now, I’m seventeen years old. As you know, before this, I lived in Canalave City with My Pokemon and was a junior researcher in the local Library. It was truly an honor to study under the Champion Cynthia herself. As hard as it may be to believe, the Legendary Pokemon, Arceus appeared to me one day, asking for help in defeating a threat in the old Hisuian era. Before I knew it, I was catapulted back in time to a village that, over the centuries, would become Modern-day Jubilife City. And it was at that point that I had ‘disappeared.’
On my journey, I befriended a mysterious merchant named Volo. But In the end, he turned out to be someone who was after Arceus’s Power for his own malicious purposes. He had gone as far as to summon Giratina to achieve his ends... It turned out he was the threat. His Pokemon Team was powerful and the battle was rough, but In the end, I came out on top. As punishment for his actions, Volo was cursed with immortality. Never able to die peacefully by any means, forced to wander the world for all eternity, living with what he’s done. Some say after that, he went into hiding. After befriending Arceus, I asked it a favor: to return to my own time to visit my family and friends. Arceus, though dubious that I would refuse to come back, granted the request and allotted me a full year in Modern Sinnoh, under the condition that I would return once the time was up. I sadly agreed to come back to Hisui, but, so long as I can visit my loved ones and let them know where I’ve been all this time, I’ll have some peace. Oh, and say ‘Hi’ to Cynthia for me and tell her I’m all right.
Signing off, Akari.
Akari pocketed her Arc phone and hoped that her message would reach her cousins, Dawn and Lucas.
I have sent the message through, my girl, They will receive it soon. My power combined with your Arc phone will allow for your cousins to receive a text message across time as if they were sent one from Modern day.
Arceus explains. Akari nods and packs her things and her Pokeballs. Arceus gives her a nod and opens the time portal to Modern day Sinnoh.
—-Hearthome City Modern Day Sinnoh——
Dawn heard a buzz from inside her coat pocket. Her eyes widened when she saw who the text was from.
”A-Akari???!!!”
Lucas looked over and saw his sister’s raw surprise turn to tears of relief and joy.
”Lucas, Lucas, she’s alive!! She’s safe!!” She cheered, grabbing Lucas’s hands and gesturing to her Poryphone2.
”Y-You mean…??!!!” He looked over at the message displayed on his sister’s phone. But not much later, that same message displayed on Lucas’s phone as well. He, too, was relieved and equally as shocked.<\p>
As if on cue, a large golden portal in the shape of Arceus’s rings opened up, and their cousin stepped through it. Dawn and Lucas immediately shifted their attention to it. Though she was dressed in old Hisuian attire, sure enough, it was her. Dawn nearly launched herself into Akari and gave her a tight hug.
”Where did you go? Everyone was so worried about you!!” Dawn shouted, tightening her grip. Akari returned the hug and put her bag on the ground.
”Well, there’s a lot to explain, so let’s go someplace where we can talk about this in private.” Said Akari to the siblings. They agreed and headed for the local Pokemon Center.
