Yoo Joonghyuk, You stupid bastard!

Summary:

Yoo Joonghyuks hand moved for the hilt of his sword- unsheathing it. "This pencils killed 9 people already!" he shouted, and everyone stopped dead.

Utter silence filled the room.

Yes, Kim Dokja was a pencil. Or for better wording.. Possessing a pencil.

Chapter Text

Despite the lack of limbs, every step Yoo Joonghyuk took closer to him made him roll with anticipation. And then he suddenly whipped around, eyes slitted.

"Don't go near it!" Yoo Joonghyuk almost snarled at his party, who were inching forward with him.

Lee Jihye blinks. This was the most shes ever heard Master talk in months.

Ever since he's become The Oldest Dream, Kim Dokja has been taking over small household objects instead of people to conserve probability, and keep a close eye on his Incarnation.

This was the second time one of the Yoo Joonghyuks has actually paid him mind, Though. Usually the mans opted to ignore him and his antics because it benefit Yoo Joonghyuk. Selfish Bastard. I do one thing wrong, and he sacrifices the entire round to kill me!

Let's just say.. this is payback?

Harmless, but effective. Who the hell says shit like, 'That pencils killed people' and is serious?!

The pencil continued rolling back and forth, taunting Yoo Joonghyuk.

"...Dude." Kim Namwoon tried to hold back his laughter; all but wheezing his words. "You know that's impossible, Right?"

Yoo Joonghyuk deflated like a popped balloon. "This is why you died last round," he scoffed, whispering under his breath.

Ignoring the confusion and laughter of his party, Yoo Joonghyuk dashed forward and sliced the pencil in half.

Kim Dokja thought, Maybe this wasn't worth it..

He lost all of his saved probability, and returned to the train feeling just a little shorter then before.

Chapter 2: Kim Dokja, You fool!

Summary:

"Don't go near it!" he snapped. It could do horrible things to them. How else did it pass through the scenarios? The train car adjacent to his own massacred, these little pencil marks covering the victims.

Chapter Text

Christ. Where was his sponsor when he needed them? Yoo Joonghyuk growled; a low hum infused with his fury. Strange things have been happening around him, ever since the end of his second round.

Household objects follow him like the plague, and never the same thing either. This time, in his 9th round, It's a pencil.

A goddamn. #2 Pencil. That isn't even sharpened! rolling around on a folding table within this otherwise empty room, devoid of colour. dark walls enclosing him and his party. The pink of the eraser jut to face another door, Opposite of the one he'd plan on going through. Oh, But Yoo Joonghyuks learnt his lesson. Last time he followed the sentient objects advice (the 8th regressions object, a lamp, led him down the wrong path where a chimera laid its eggs) he was burnt to a crisp.

"Bro." Kim Namwoon broke the silence. The pencil rolled eagerly, practically writhing. "I hate to interrupt, but.. What are you doing." his hands gestured to... All of Yoo Joonghyuk.

"Something important," Yoo Joonghyuk replied. he pushed past his party and closer to the pencil. The sound of its tortuous rolling was annoying, the way it echoed in the room and rang in his ears, made him reflect on his actions. made him nervous. He hated it.

To his dismay, Lee Jihye warily followed him. Yoo Joonghyuk turned around, sharp enough on the heel of his boots that the movement made a sort of squeal reverberate in the air. "Don't go near it!" he snapped. It could do horrible things to them. How else did it pass through the scenarios? The train car adjacent to his own massacred, these little pencil marks covering the victims.

That was the first sign, the first sign that, despite his endless praying, this round wouldn't be normal either.

"This pencils killed 9 people already!" The blade of his sword facing to Lee Jihye, Kim Namwoon, and Lee Hyunsung. He failed to get Lee Seolhwa this round. But he didn't need her. The bonuses of keeping her around was nice, but not necessary, he thought.

Lee Jihye snort, doubling over on her knees at the sentence. He could tell Kim Namwoon was trying not to laugh, Because he wouldn't survive if he did, but it didn't work. at all.

"Dude. You know that's.... like, Impossible, right?" Kim Namwoon wheezed.

Yoo Joonghyuk scoffed. This is why you died in the last round, Namwoon. Kim Namwoon startled- He realised slowly what he mumbled, didn't mean to say it out loud. But it became a habit of his whenever he got angry. something he was often.

If he kills it directly, It'd leave him alone. This accursed pencil could shove it for all he cares, Yoo Joonghyuk sneered.

Lee Jihye giggled at him, Saying something about how strange he was. This is why you, too, were dead by the 6th scenario.

He was face to face with the pencil. Yoo Joonghyuk lift his arm; bared his sword to the pencil. It gleamed brightly in the metal surrounding the pink eraser bud.

" You'll meet the same fate if you follow me into the next round, " He promised darkly. nothing above a hushed whisper near the face of the pencil. In one deft tilt of his hand, The wood split apart. A loud snap echoed in the vicinity, and he swore he felt something leave. felt a pair of eyes on him instantly after.

Yoo Joonghyuk rose his fist to to the viewers, flicking off any curious constellations. Of course-- They were outraged. A hearty laugh rumbled in his chest. Good. Be mad, Loathe me, Fear me. Because i'm coming for you.
