"Tick. Tock. "
Ryunosuke looks at the wall clock.
"Tick. Tock. "
Ryunosuke sighs and leans his back against the sofa. When were his boyfriends coming home? He thought to himself. He checks his watch again, then sighs. It's been two weeks since Barok left to compete in an ice skating tournament, and Kazuma heading off to Vidcon for a meet and greet. Ryunosuke was excited to be alone at home at first. He could do almost anything he wanted at any time! Eat ice cream in the bathtub? He could do it. Eat a bowl of cereal in the bedroom? He could do it. He could even make a big card pyramid without the chance of someone interrupting him. It was great! By the time a week passed, Ryunosuke was bored out of his mind. He had done everything to keep him entertained, playing video games, binging shows, training his chess and shogi skills, heck even helping Sholmes with his dangerous experiments. Ryunosuke flops onto the sofa face first. This boredom was going to be the death of him. After some time, Ryunosuke considers calling both of them, he hopes at least one of them wouldn't be busy so he could have someone to talk to. He sits up and dials them.
....
Straight to voicemail.
Ryunosuke sighs, disappointed. He should have accepted Kazuma's offer to go to vidcon, but noo, he decided he'd stay home. He lays back down and stares at the ceiling. Ryunosuke must have zoned out, as when he got up to get a glass of water, it was dark.
Before he could even touch his cup, there was a loud knocking sound right outside his door.
"MR NARUHODOOO!! ARE YOU IN THERE!?"
Ryunosuke jumps and rushes to the door.
"Sholmes! What do you ne-" Ryunosuke's eyes grow wide in shock.
"BAROK? KAZUMA?? YOU'RE-YOU GUYS ARE A WEEK EARLY!" Ryunosuke quickly hugged both of his boyfriends tightly.
"Urk- Ryu-" Kazuma squeaks.
"O-oh sorry-" Ryunosuke smiles sheepishly.
"But what are you guys doing here?!? You both said you'd be gone for three weeks!"
"Vidcon ended early," Kazuma said as he shrugged.
"I misread the poster, the tournament would last two weeks." Barok sighs.
Kazuma snickers, "It's unlike you to misread something"
Barok gives Kazuma a death glare, and Kazuma glared back. Noticing a possible squabble about to occur, Ryunosuke interrupts them.
"You know, I really missed you both! You don't know how bored I felt without you both here at home." Ryunosuke smiles sweetly.
Before Kazuma or Barok has a chance to respond, a voice interrupts.
"My my, I certainly hope you lot haven't forgotten my presence!" Ryunosuke jumps slightly, he had forgotten Sholmes was still there-
"Apologies for forgetting about you Sholmes!!"
"Not to worry my dear fellow" Sholmes said as he tipped his hat.
"Now you lovebirds continue on while I do more productive things in my apartment." Barok rolled his eyes and Ryunosuke giggled. Ryunosuke then drags Barok and Kazuma into their living room
"C'mon you two! You'll have to see how much I improved in chess and shogi while you two were away!!"
