Alison had just pressed the button that will trigger the reset of the universe even though his brothers asked him the opposite. From the moment Alison put her hand on the button with still unknown functions, the Hargreeves family felt engulfed in darkness before finding themselves in an elevator which reopened on a small garden, a place that no one had seems to have recognized.
The umbrellas as well as Ben and Lila came out of this mysterious elevator scanning the new landscape that welcomed them.
Viktor turned around when he heard the footsteps of someone behind him at the door of the elevator, a huge smile of joy appeared on his face at the sight of his brother Luther who was supposed to be dead, killed by their abominable dad.
“Luther?”
"Ho shit, can you see me?" asked Luther hopefully, turning to his brother
. “Yes!” The young man rushed to his brother and hugged him
“I'm alive! I am alive !" he replied, responding to his brother's embrace.
Luther then lowered his gaze to his body, he felt it was different, indeed his body had returned to normal.
“Wow ! my body ! I'm super hot"
"Luther is all fine now." Added Klaus also surprised by the appearance of his brother
"I have to show this to Sloane." Luther turned around and rushed towards the elevator to go to his wife and proudly show her his new body
"I got my arm back." Said Five looking rather puzzled, it's weird I don't remember losing my arm though.
“Wait a second where is Sloane?” Asked Luther not finding the young woman
“Wow she was behind me when”
“When Alison pressed the button. Lila finishes Klaus' sentence
“She disappeared too.” Diego
commented “Anyone know where we are?” Asked Ben who seemed annoyed by the situation
"At the hotel, or at least where he was before"
Luther started calling Sloane's name still not seeing her then angrily rushed over to Five. grabbing by his jacket. Ferociously asking him where his wife was, to which his brother did not answer him. However when he attempted a space jump to escape Luther's grasp, nothing happened.
" There is a problem." Said Five having no idea what was going on with his power
"Yeah you're going to have a problem when I beat you up!" Responded Luther still pissed at not finding Sloane
“My powers, I can't teleport.”
“That's not good.” Said Diego when the knife that was spinning in his hand immediately fell from his fingers
Everyone tries to use their powers, in vain, none of them manages to use them. They had disappeared. Even the tattoos on Klaus' hand were gone.
"I have to find my wife." Luther turned and left the garden to search for Sloane.
So on, everyone did the same and left the garden each with their goals, not knowing what to do with the others having all lost their powers.
Only Viktor and Five had been left alone in the park.
“What's going on…”
“Hey Five how are you?” Asked Viktor to his brother
“I don't really know… but can I know who you are? “
“What? How who I am? you do not recognize me ? “
" No, I don't even know what I'm doing here and why was everyone called by the name of my brothers and sisters? I don't understand." five was desperate.
"Five, I'm your brother, Viktor, what do you remember?"
“None of my brothers are named Viktor, the last thing I remember was last night I guess when we all went to bed after completing a mission.” He now had tears in his eyes.
“Shit… Five how old are you?”
“13 years old, do you know where my siblings are? “
Okay, what I'm about to tell you is probably going to confuse you a bit, but don't worry, okay? All the people you saw tonight are our brothers and sisters, you don't know who I am because you didn't know me by that name when we were kids. “
“ Vanya? “
“ Yes it is.” Vikor smiled tenderly at his little brother to try to reassure him
“ Why are you all adults and not me? “
“It's quite complicated but basically you're not in the same time line as during your childhood. Five when we were 13 you got lost in time. After that we went through a lot. Recently we stopped two apocalypses and there we just reset the universe that's why you have no memory and you don't understand what's going on. You were an adult and you were reset to the age before you left.”
Little Five was totally in shock, he felt even more lost and scared than before. How come he was no longer in the same timeline and he got lost in time? His head was starting to hurt.
"So it's not 2002...? "
" No, in 2019, well I think "
Since the beginning of the conversation he was struggling to contain the tears in his eyes but he couldn't anymore. Suddenly he started to cry, letting out all his fear and confusion following this unexpected situation. He had curled up on the ground, hoping that all this was only a dream from which he was going to wake up very quickly.
Viktor lowered himself to his level and . hugged him, pushing him against his chest and running a hand up and down his back in an attempt to calm him down
“It's fine Five, we'll try to understand what's going on ok?.
The young boy nodded, running his hands over his eyes to wipe away the last tearsHe was totally lost but at least he wasn't alone.
