A young Frances Welty raced around with a young girl in her arms that she had fostered for almost a few months while her husband at the time Henry was at work. Seeing that sweet little girls face the Frances picked her up from the other foster home she was smitten and had fallen in love with those adorable chubby cheeks. Alicia filled the hole in her heart from when she found out she was intertile and couldn’t have kids and the two really loved eachother and grew super close but she just knew the situation she was in with Henry who never liked kids or wanted them and he was abusive to her and Alicia had to witness it that this wasn’t a life any child should be stuck in and she didn’t want her foster daughter to have deal with her own father bullying her relentlessly like he did her mother and Henry constantly was beating her and Frances was so afraid to leave. She at the spur of the moment made the heartbreaking decision to go take Alicia back to the foster system. She just couldn’t bear to see her Alicia go through what she was alongside her and wouldn’t be able to forgive herself for what the baby would endure. Frances eventually found the home that took in babies or kids.
“Hey baby..I’m very sorry about this all I really am but you’ll understand when you’re older why this was done..I love you so much is why I’m doing this and I promise when I eventually get away from Henry I will find you okay?” Frances sobbed as she put the 6 year old girl down on the front step trying to coax her to go with the lady who ran the place
“You promise??? Frances please don’t leave me I love you I want you to be my mommy no one else!” Alicia cried so confused just hugging clinging to her
“I know baby I know me too and I wanna be your mom but I can’t expose you more to Henry I’m not gonna let him hurt you I’m sorry Alicia…” Frances sobbed hugging her back and kissing her as Alicia cried not wanting to let go of her
“Please don’t go momma!!” Alicia said “You’re the only one who truly cared about me”
“Alicia look at me..” Frances said cradling her face “I will do my best when I finally leave Henry I’m gonna try and get you back..”
“I love you!!” Alicia cried hugging her tighter
“I love you too honey we’ll be okay alright? I will come back for you you try and stay here for now” Frances said
“Okay” Alicia said as Frances kissed her forehead and then had to depart or else she wouldn’t leave the girl and plus she didn’t want Alicia to see her cry more then she already was as she was holding back sobs.
