Being the only girl in a family of five was a joyous thing for Yuuji in her childhood. She was pampered by all her brothers, their caring and loving nature spoiled her to be a clingy child with large amount of energy. The last slice of pizza was hers, the last chocolate was hers. She would only have to show her puppy eyes to her Choso ni-san and she'll get anything she wants. But no matter how much privilege she got for being the only girl, she didn't put it in bad use.
She really loved her brothers, they never made her feel that she was deprived of a mother or father's love. Choso ni-san, Eso ni-san, Kechizu ni-san and her beloved Sukuna ni-san were there for her, everytime.
But today was first day in her life where she wanted to have a mother. They did teach her about this in her school, menstrual cycle: once in a month cycle. But they never told that there would be this much pain and that much blood.
"What should I do with this." Yuuji's hand trembled as she eyed the stain on her sheets, it was a lot of blood. She looked at the clock, it was still 5 a.m. that means no one would be awake by now. She can wash it and keep it for drying.
Yuuji immediately got but stood still when she felt something flowing out from her vagina. That made her hair stood up, it creeped her out. Right now she needs pad. But the problem was that she doesn't have one.
She groaned until it clicked to her and she remembered the ones she got from school on the day of whole period counselling.
She closed her legs and tried walking to her closet to find the pad which was given to the girls. Now she really wants to punch herself on the face for not carefully looking at the presentation they showed in the school and making notes.
Right below the clothes she found the pad and with the same weird posture she walked back to her bed and took the sheets and went to the only bathroom in their house.
She was really glad that no one was awake. She quietly entered the bathroom and was about to slip her shorts down when she realised that she needs a clean pants.
With a low groan she walked back to her room to get the small piece of clothing.
"Girl, how did you manage?"
"I had those given by the school."
She heard Nobara sighing in relief on the other side. She thought Nobara would know something about periods but turns out she doesn't know much herself as she has not gotten periods yet, she only knows the basics.
"My mom did tell me that it hurts a little in these days."
"A little?" Yuuji wanted to cry, she clutched her stomach, "It really doesn't hurt a little, this immense pain in my stomach is making my legs shake, I really can't feel my legs and this weird feeling of blood coming out of female tract."
Nobara let out a laugh, "Babe that's your vagina, female tract bwahahahahaha!"
Yuuji turned red, "Oh shut up, you know how alien these topics are for me, I don't have a mother to share something like this." She sighed.
"Gurl you have me, and I do understand, having only men in your house makes few things difficult, I don't even know how you talked about buying bras with your brothers."
Yuuji groaned in embarrassment, that day was really a hell of a day. She was pointed out by some girls of her class that she had really big breasts and should now start wearing bras. She really didn't know what bras were, no one ever told her! It was in fourth grade! How was she supposed to know? She thought it was something like camisole but no, it was like those bikinis his brothers used to whistle at! She remembered how embarrassed she was when the shop keeper had started showing her bras and asked for her size. Now she just buys them with Nobara. Never with Choso ni-san or any other of her brothers.
"Anyways," Yuuji tried chaning the topic, "care to pick me from house? I think like I would really faint."
"Then rest for today, no need to come to school, first days are always worst, I heard girls in class say."
"What will I tell ni-san?" She fiddle with her fingers, she really doesn't want to talk about this, she was too embarrassed to talk about this.
"Tell him you have a stomach ache, it's truth, you won't be lying."
Yuuji hummed, Nobara knew that she didn't like lying to her brothers. They trusted her a lot and lying to them only made her think that she was breaking their trust.
"Okay."
"I'll visit you after school and bring some snacks and pads for you."
Yuuji felt tears forming, "Thank you Nobara!"
"Gurl don't thank me, when I have my periods you better be ready to empty that wallet of yours."
Yuuji nodded furiously, "I promise!"
Nobara chuckled, "Take care of yourself."
"Yup."
Yuuji kept her phone aside, it was still 7a.m. and she could hear the clincking of the utensils telling that her brothers had woken up and were making breakfasts. She would have helped them but she was feeling really sore, so she decided just to sleep.
"Yuuji."
Yuuji groaned as she moved, the pain in her abdomen moving to her back, she winced.
"Wha— are you okay?" She recognised the voice, she lazily opened her eyes and saw Eso looking down at her, worried.
"Stomach ache." She pressed her stomach and through the pillows, muffling her voice.
"Are you having a stomach ache?" Eso asked and Yuuji nodded and she felt the warm hand of her brother patting her head gently, "don't go to school then, I'll tell Sukuna to go by himself today, you even have a little fever." Eso voice was filled with concern and Yuuji just wanted to hug his ni-san and cry, "Rest well."
She hummed and clutched the pillow in her arms tighter, an effort to press it against her stomach to squeeze out the pain.
She closed her eyes again as she heard the footsteps fading.
"What brat, you got sick?"
Yuuji opened her eyes at the noise of the door hitting the wall and she could hear Kechizu shouting in a distance "Don't disturb Yuuji!"
She heard the footsteps coming closer to her and then a cold hand against her forehead. She whimpered at the contact and tried shifting back but there was no energy in her body to do that.
"How did you get a fever? Huh?" She eased up her brow when she felt the cold hand leaving her skin, "I told you not to eat ice-cream right after having coffee."
Yuuji whined as her brother pulled her cheeks, "Aaah Sukuna ni-san, stooop, your hand is coooold."
She heard her brother evilly laughing and flicked her forehead. She winced and glared at him with a pout, well tried to glared.
"Get well soon you brat, I don't wanna walk school alone." He patted her head and walked to the door.
"Have a nice day ni-san." Yuuji said from under her covers in a shy voice, Sukuna didn't look back but instead waved his hand to show that he heard it.
Yuuji smiled and went back to sleep in a different position, she winced when she felt the new feeling between her legs.
The smell of soup made Yuuji open her eyes and she saw bowl of soup being served infront of her bed. She looked above and saw Chouso.
"Ni-san." Her voice came out barely as a whispered.
"You must be hungry, it's already going to be noon, I didn't want to wake you up, you looked so peaceful and cute." Choso smiled and showed Yuuji her pics while sleeping.
Yuuji turned red, her brother really liked to click pictures of his younger siblings.
"Now sit up, how's your stomach ache?" Choso asked and just Yuuji was sitting she felt a sudden weight in her shorts, she quickly got up and rushed to the bathroom.
"Yuuji?"
She immediately went in and closed the door and checked her shorts in the mirror, she sighed a breath of relief. She thought she ruined her clothes. But what was that just now? She checked her pad and was truly horrified with bloody scenery. She was glad that she had two more pads with her.
"Yuuji?"
She whipped her head at the door. It was Choso ni-san.
"Are you okay? Should we go to the hospital?"
"N-no ni-san! I am okay! I-I was just— I really wanted to pee, yeah that's all." She lied.
"Okay, come out quick then, your soup would get cold, it's better to have to when it's warm and tasty." Choso said and Yuuji heard his footsteps fading.
She sighed a breath of relief, she really didn't know for how long she would be able to hide this. That's for later, right now she needs to change, she really needs to change.
The soup was the best. She wanted to cry at how tasty it was. She didn't forget to throw compliments and praises after every sip. Choso laughed and just shook his head at every compliment threw at his direction.
Yuuji was feeling a lot better after having the soup and finally stretched her body, totally trying to ignore the waterfall in her shorts. She went to the living room and flopped on the couch right next to Eso, cuddling his big muscled arms. The man just patted the girl's head.
"You look better." Eso said and Yuuji just snuggled more into him.
"Yuuji, I made you some cookies!" Kechizu happily walked to the two and with cookies in a bowl and Yuuji looked at it with starry eyes.
"Thank Chizu ni-san, you are the best!" Yuuji said while taking the bowl and immediately started munching one of it.
Kechizu grinned and looked at Eso with a smug look 'I made her happy!'
Eso rolled his eyes 'yeah yeah'
"She had a stomach ache, why are you giving her cookies?" They heard Choso said making Yuuji hug the bowl tighter.
"I thought Yuuji would like that, she looked really unwell when she was sleeping." Kechizu said in a low voice when Choso walked to them.
"Good intention behind but she was unwell because of stomach ache." Choso motioned to take the bowl but Yuuji held it closer and looked at Choso with puppy eyes. His resolve was starting to break, he isn't a monster, he can't ignore those eyes.
Choso was about to give up when he heard the door unlocking.
"I'm home." Sukuna's voice came through and his footsteps approached, "What's up?" He threw his bag down and flopped on the couch, "School is shit."
Choso took the opportunity, the only person who was immune to Yuuji's puppy eyes was, "Sukuna."
Sukuna looked up at his brother, "Yeah? Did I I do something?"
Choso raised his brow, "No? Or is there something you want to tell?"
Sukuna tried hiding his grin, "Nothing."
"Take the cookies from Yuuji." Choso said and started walking away, trying to ignore the whining of Yuuji.
"You brat, you had a stomach ache and now you are eating cookies." Sukuna came and snatched the bowl from her and sat back on the couch, eating them, "It's tasty." He looked at Yuuji with a teasing smile.
Yuuji huffed and stormed back to her room and closed it with a thump.
"What's with her?" Sukuna frowned, "Did the fever go deep in her brain and made few screw melt?"
Eso and Kechizu shrugged.
Yuuji heard the knock on her door, she shuffled under the bedsheets while wiping her tears.
"Yuuji! It's Nobara!" She heard the door knocking softly.
Yuuji stood up, the pain had returned, she was fine after having some soup but ever since she came back to her room, it's just increasing.
She walked to the door and opened it.
"Ta-da! I brought you these— are you crying?"
"It hurts." She said in broken voice, clutching her stomach. Nobara's heart clenched at the sight of her friend being in pain.
"I have brought painkillers too, let's eat something together, Fushiguro is also here."
Yuuji's eyes widened, "What is he doing here?" She whispered yelled and then immediately went inside her room to check her appearance infront of the mirror, "I look sick." She didn't even take a bath this morning.
Nobara shook her head, "You are sick, he would know that. You can't look beautiful and sick both at the same times, exceptions exists like Kugisaki Nobara."
"You are not helping! Why did you bring him?" Yuuji quickly took the wet wipes and wiped her face with it. She put on some cream to make her skin look shiny and fresh.
"I didn't! He tagged along, saying that he had some work with you." Nobara's smile grew bigger, "Maybe he was worried that his sweet crush has not arrived to the school, the place where he can ogle your breasts and ass."
Yuuji turned red, "I am not his crush and Megumi is not like that!"
"Already on first name basis? And oh my, you are even defending him." Nobara swooned, "Young love." She shook her head and sighed.
"Shut up." Yuuji blushed and quickly combed her hair.
"You don't even have long hair! Stop doing it and come out! I am hungry!" Nobara took her and tried dragging her hand.
"Hey, it hurts!" Yuuji was dragged out by Nobara, she let go of her right before entering the living room. Yuuji slowly entered the room and saw Megumi sitting on the couch, he looked really good in his school uniform (like she has seen him in clothes other than school uniform) His hair was as messy as ever and Yuuji really liked the way they were scattered around his face.
Megumi waved his hand at Yuuji's direction and she shyly waved back. She went and sat next to him and saw Nobara throwing up a thumbs up.
"You didn't come to school today." He started and Yuuji was hoping that he would say that how worried he was that he didn't spot her in school and how he kept thinking what had happened to her that she didn't come to school, maybe tell her that how much he wanted to see her, "Here are your notebooks that you had lend me, thank you for it."
Yuuji's face dropped and she heard Sukuna coughing while holding up the remote and changing the channels.
"You just came to give me these?" Yuuji asked, her big eyes looking for something, even a slight change in the boy's demeanor on the question.
"Yeah? You need them right." He said with a straight face.
Sukuna even stopped controlling his laugh. The audacity of this bitch to be still in the living room.
"I should get going now and thanks for the tea." He got up and was leaving, Yuuji walked to say him bye.
"Get home safe." She said but it seemed like Megumi didn't hear her. Sad, she walked in and saw Nobara holding her bag.
"That guy is one heck of a dense person. Mom called, have to go." She said before giving Yuuji a hug and walking to the door, "Don't come to school if you still don't feel good, and call me if you need anything, I am always here for you."
Yuuji nodded with a pout and walked back in the living room. She was going to watch some movie but a cramp hit her stomach and she winced and was about to go to her room but was stopped by Sukuna holding the edge of the notebook she was holding, the one which Megumi had returned. She didn't know why she was still holding it.
With a teasing look he asked her, "You never give your notebooks to me."
"Because you don't need them." She pulled the notebooks but Sukuna's grip was stronger.
"Ha! Do this cry baby have a little crush on that Fushiguro!" Sukuna pulled the notebook. Yuuji wasn't having it and pulled the notebook with more strength.
"Just leave me and my notebook alone!"
"Okay." Sukuna smirked and loosened his grip causing Yuuji to fall back on the floor.
When Yuuji fell, she felt the pain going right in her abdomen and increasing the intensity of her cramps. She clutched her stomach and bend in but the pain wasn't subduing.
"Oi brat, you finish with just this?" Sukuna came to check on her as she was in that position for a long time, "Oi." He lightly kicked her leg but stopped when he heard a sob, "Yuuji, you are crying?"
"Go away." Yuuji said, trying to get up, the pain was immense which just made her cry more.
"Why are you crying?" Sukuna looked down to see if she fall on something that hurt her.
"I am going to my room." Yuuji walked to her room.
"Yuuji, why are you crying?" Kechizu asked.
"I don't know!" Saying that she went in her room and shut it and cried louder.
Choso came downstairs with a frown and straightly walked to Sukuna and folded his arms, "What you did now?"
Sukuna blinked, "What—I—me?—I didn't—why do you always think it's me?"
Chose raised his brow as a warning and tapped his foot.
Sukuna threw his hands in air, giving up, "She fell on the floor, it wasn't my mistake!"
"You were pulling the notebook she was holding." Eso walked and stood next to Choso.
"Come one now, I can't joke around or what?" He crossed his arms and huffed, "You all just love her and not me." He muttered but Choso heard it.
"Sukuna it's not like that." Choso said with a frown.
"You don't have to lie, go to your cry baby, I am always the one who gets scolded." Saying that he also walked back into his room.
Choso sighed and rubbed his temple.
"These twins sure have some connection of getting moody at the same." Eso shook his head.
"Ni-san, I found this." Kechizu lifted the bag the one they saw Nobara bring in, "I think Kugisaki-chan forgot this."
"I thought she brought it for Yuuji." Eso said as he took the bag and tried looking in, "I heard Kugisaki-chan shouting that she brought it for Itadori when Sukuna tried looking."
They heard footsteps and the three men looked at Sukuna walking to the kitchen, he glanced at them and then at the bag.
"Give me that, I am going to eat all the snacks, that brat is having stomach aches anyways." Sukuna tried taking the bag but Eso pulled it away.
"Kugisaki-chan bought it for Yuuji." Eso stated.
"Let me take one." Sukuna said, "I saw, there were so many."
Eso sighed and rumbled the bag and took out something soft, maybe it was a cake. He took it out and looked at the very colourful packet which was definitely not cake.
There was heavy silence as they all stared at the packet of pads.
"This is..." The brothers exchanged a look.
"How old is Yuuji...?" Choso asked.
"Twelve." Sukuna answered.
"It's actually the time for this to come I suppose." Eso said.
"Is that why she was having stomach ache?" Kechizu pointed and other three looked at him.
Again a silence followed. The brothers connecting the dots in their head.
"My poor little sister." Choso felt his heart wrench, his baby sister is all grown up now and now she will have to feel this same thing every month, poor baby.
"Why didn't she tell us?" Sukuna asked, if he knew what was going on, he would have definitely not teased her. He was feeling really shitty now.
"I guess she was embarrassed, it's not a thing girls usually talk with boys." Kechizu said and again all three looked at him as. Kechizu seemed to really know about this situation, "What? My trans friend told me about it."
They nodded, understanding. They themselves also have to gain some knowledge about this situation.
Eso looked more in the bag and aside from pads and chocolates, there were some medicines, he took it out and flipped to read what it was.
"Pain killers." Eso said and Choso was getting teary now.
"She must be in pain, I should make something hot for her, her favorite and then she should eat it, my poor Yuuji." Saying that Choso went in the kitchen to do the thing he said.
"Are we suppose to do something too?" Sukuna asked, looking at Kechizu for answers.
"My friend told that head pads are blessing, didn't know what for." Kechizu said and Sukuna was trying to think what could it's use be. Nothing came in his mind and he must flipped his phone out.
"What's this called?" He asked.
"What? Heating pads?" Kechizu raised a brow in confusion.
"No, this situation."
"What situation?" Kechizu asked making Eso facepalm and Sukuna roll his eyes.
"The thing this," Sukuna pointed at the pad, "is required for."
"Oooh, devil's week."
"What?" Sukuna and Eso both looked at Kechizu as if he grew another head.
"That's what he told, but I guess it's also called periods, type girl's periods, I think you will then get it."
Sukuna typed the same and he did get it, he then proceeded to type the use of heat pads and he did get the results.
"For the relaxation from cramps and contractions?" Sukuna stared at the phone in confusion, "Why would girls exercise when they are in pain?" He asked.
"I think the cramps are not from exercise, they are more like from inside." Eso said as he tried thinking more.
"What inside?" Sukuna asked, this whole topic was so confusing to him.
"Just ask from a woman, how we are suppose to know?" Eso gave up too, thinking was too much pain for the brain.
"The only woman in our house is in the other room, probably still crying in pain." Kechizu stated and both Eso and Sukuna groaned.
"I don't know anything, I'll just go and buy that heat pads." Sukuna went to Choso to ask for some money to go out and buy the heat pads.
Kechizu looked at Eso, "Isn't there one friend of ni-san who is a woman?"
"Who?"
"Yuki-chan."
"Yuuji."
Yuuji heard knocks on her door and she rubbed her eyes, after crying for a while she slept to forget the pain, but now that she is awake she can feel the pain returning.
She lets out a whimper as she walks to the door and unlocks it and peeps out.
"Yuki-san?" She opens the door fully and looks at the grinning woman infront of her with shock, "What are you doing here?"
"I got a call from your brother Choso saying that how Yuuji has started her periods an—"
"They know!?" She screamed while her face turned red.
"I suppose." Yuki said, she eyed the girl. Yuuji looked really fidgety, "I think you didn't tell them, they found out, I am right?"
Yuuji nodded while playing with her fingers. She didn't know how they came to know that, did they see the wrappings of the pad? But she disposed them without leaving a hint of anything, or was it her sheets but she remembered of scrubbing it out like her life depended on it. What could it be?
"Hey, why are you so nervous? Chill." Yuki patted the girl's back, "Choso has prepared your favourite food, how about you eat the food and take pain killers while I give your brothers some information about periods."
"Wh-what? You'll talk to them about th-that?" Yuuji asked, she was already so embarassed that her brothers found out about it and they are gonna talk about it.
Yuki laughed, "Why are you acting like it is something that's suppose to not talked about? It's normal Yuuji, every girl goes through this, and brothers should know this, they need to know what's happening in their little sister's life."
Yuuji nodded, understanding what Yuki was talking about.
"Then come out, your brothers are worried sick."
Sukuna was sure he was going to have nightmares after the very detailed explanation about periods by Yuki. He's never going to underestimate girls in his whole life. Though he never underestimated them before, his twin is hella strong and would stand foot to foot with him in a fight but holy shit, this was a new level thing for female.
"I am glad I was born a boy." Eso said and immediately Kechizu and Sukuna agreed with him.
"My respect for woman skyrocketed." Kechizu confessed and again the other two nodded.
"I can't even imagine what's Yuuji is going through now." Eso said and they all looked at the girl sleeping on the couch, the heat pad given by Sukuna attached to her stomach, they could see the frequent frowns on her forehead time to time.
Sukuna's protectiveness increased, he's gonna do everything to make her twin feel comfortable in this week of her life. And then it dawn upon him.
"It's every month?" His eyes comically widened more when Eso nodded.
"I am blessed to be a boy." He went back into the life contemplating position.
The next day Yuuji decided to go to school, she was feeling a lot better and with all the extra care she was getting, it was just making her so emotional. She was so wrong to think her brothers won't understand her at all.
"Sukuna call me immediately if you feel like Yuuji is not well." Choso told Sukuna who nodded immediately, "I will come to school as fast as I can to pick Yuuji up."
"There is no need!" Yuuji flushed, her brothers were embarassing her infront of the school, she went and pushed Choso back in his car, "Now go away oni-chan."
Choso being Choso kept telling Sukuna about to look after Yuuji, it wasn't until he stopped talking when Yuuji gave him the daily kiss on his cheek.
Choso smiled widely and waved the twins back.
"Both of you take care." And then he drove off.
"Let's go brat." Sukuna flipped Yuuji's bag on his back and waited for her to start walking. She could carry her bag easily but Sukuna wasn't letting her to do so saying that he doesn't want to get scolded by Choso, but Yuuji knew that he was doing it without even Choso telling him to do so. She smiled at him and started walking, "Slow down you idiot."
Sukuna grabbed her collar and made her walk slowly, being the bundle of energy she was, she would definitely forget that she was literally bleeding from inside.
Sukuna shivered at the thought and being it actually true made him wince.
He has to be the responsible one.
Sukuna walked her to her class like every other day and he was feeling more irritated about his class being on second floor. He entered the class and kept Yuuji's bag on her place and then turned towards her.
"Call me when you don't feel okay." He told and Yuuji nodded and saluted, "And I have kept the pa—"
Yuuji covered his mouth, blush covering her cheeks and ears, "Don't say that aloud!" She whispered yelled, "Others can hear!"
Sukuna removed her hands and looked around to glare at everyone who was looking at their direction, they immediately looked away.
He turned back to her and whispered, "The painkillers are in the side pockets, I have kept some snacks, the ones that hot headed girl had gave you, on the other side, eat it between the classes and call me if you don't feel good or come to my class if you want to."
Yuuji nodded at every sentence, "Yeah Ni-chan!"
Sukuna patted her head and Yuuji closed her eyes. He walked out of the class to his class and took one last glance at Yuuji who waved at him.
Yuuji was feeling ecstatic. She giggled, thinking how good her brothers treat her.
"Well, well, aren't you in a good mood today?"
"Nobara!" Yuuji stood up and immediately thought it was a bad idea. She was still not used to this flowing feeling.
"Feeling good?" Nobara kept her bag on her seat which was next to Yuuji's, "Miss woman."
Yuuji blushed, "I am still a girl!"
"Yeah yeah, do you realise you can practically be a mother now." Nobara teased, "You just need a man now."
Yuuji blinked her eyes furiously and her face started turning red, her eyes subconsciously went to the seat where Megumi sits.
"You thought of Megumi when I said man, right?" Nobara came closer to her face, "My Yuuji is thinking of giving birth to Megumi's child?"
"Stop it." Yuuji pushed Nobara's face away from hers with her hands while the ginger girl just laughed evilly.
"Oh look there."
Yuuji looked where Nobara was looking and saw Megumi walking towards his seat.
"It's the man, your—"
"Nobara!" Yuuji pressed her palm against her mouth to shut the devil but then she licked her palm. Yuuji pulled her palm with a disgusted look. "Ew."
"He he he."
It was P.E. period and Sukuna was sharing this class with Yuuji. When he walked into the gym he searched for Yuuji and saw her sitting on the side alone, he walked to her which caught her attention making her wave at him furiously.
"Brat why are you sitting on the cold floor?" Sukuna picked Yuuji by her collar, gently. "I'll get you a chair."
He walked into the joined store room of the gym and looked for a chair, when he saw them, he took one and walked out.
"What got you smiling so much?" Sukuna raised his brow as he kept the chair on the floor and Yuuji sat on it.
"I can be a mother now!" Yuuji beamed happily, "I am a woman now."
Sukuna processed her words in his mind, at first he didn't understand but then horror he felt was something he didn't feel before. Might be once when Yuuji got into an accident when they were young.
"You." Sukuna held Yuuji's shoulder, scared out of wits, "You are never getting a boyfriend, tell that Fushiguro to fuck off."
Sukuna really doesn't want his little sister to be mother at such a young age, hell he doesn't even want her to be with some jerk. He'll just make her adopt a child. He has heard that it hurts a lot when giving birth.
"No kids." Terrified, Sukuna walked to join his class leaving very confused Yuuji behind.
