On North Bluewaves, we can find a little island called Micqueot where sailors and pirates take refuge when they cannot face the raging sea destroying their boats for the most unlucky ones and driving others away.
On this small land, since months, lives a man without an age, blue hair, heterochromes eyes, one pink and the other one blue, wich the locals named in in a secret hidden in their house : «The Gravedigger». A strange name for a man who is as weird as it, given after one of the rare children on the island saw the stranger digging multiple garves in the lost ends of the island.
Since his arrival, he didn’t moved from the only inn of the atoll. The « young » man wakes up every day to pay his breakfast, pay for the next night and leaves for the day before his return in the middle of the night.
Soon, his routine will change, like every time the time has come. In facts, after yet another night in his room, he took his quotidian breakfast before leaving with no comeback, his bag with him. The silence had fallen in the inn before a crowded noise forms.
- Did you see him ? He left without making a reservation for tonight.
- We are finally getting rid of this monster !
- Shush ! He could hear you ! I heard he’s a bloodthirsty killer.
- Pff, those are just rumours !
After getting out of the old building, The Gravedigger ignored the chaos left behind his leaving, light up a cigarette and started walking. On his path, the locals whispered while observing him, afraid and intrigued by this change of habits. Like always, he mocked them and didn’t care much about their dark words about him, he prefers to concentrate on his objective : find his one and only fellow companion.
After walking for a while, he finally arrives to the cliff edge, looked down and here, his docked ship who was here since long ago, his greatest pride in this vast world.
- You’ve been waiting for me for a long time isn’t it? Don’t worry, we are leaving right now on the sea to conquer the world and the deaths it would give me !
Waiting for no response, and if it could only the creaking of the hull would have answered him, the Immortal jumped from his perch, his feet becoming black landing with a crack on the wood of the upper deck of the boat.
- Let’s go on new adventures !
To his spirited words, the pirate spread the sails, took control of the helm and sailed away from the island that had welcomed him during his long stay. After several hours sailing on a relatively calm sea towards the famous Reverse Mountain, the blue-haired man left his boat drifting with the sea wind, a habit he had acquired since his beginnings in piracy and which had led him into various troubles, each more deadly than the other. After a while he saw in the distance a white and blue ship with the flag of his dear Marine. He then decided to meet them and say hello in his own way, hoping to meet one of his acquaintances.
- Finally a little distraction, I was starting to get bored like a sea monster in a swimming pool. So let's see who my next murderer will be !
Arrived at the height of the boat of the Marine, he heard a voice he didn’t recognised well but which was attached to one of his best enemies who always brought him magnificent fights and intense pleasure.
- Pirate, stop and surrender without a fuss or we'll shoot you down without warning !
At his words the odd-eyed man gave a mocking smile and said :
- Smoker ! My old enemy, you still haven't got rid of this brat who follows you everywhere? I do it for you if you want !
- I ordered you to surrender Kamiyama D Chiyoko !
Annoyed by the words of the disturbing voice, the so-called Kamiyama clenched his teeth to hold back the insults that threatened to come out, inhaled and blew a good blow before finally turning his gaze on what he called a brat.
- Vice commander Tashigi, hello hello, how are you ? I would be grateful if you would call me by the name I have been using for many years : Shin. Even your superiors do it, so a simple subordinate like you should know respect for your elders and call me by the name I have chosen ! The soldiers ready, their guns on their shoulders, charged and aimed at him while their vice-commander added to her intention :

After his words, both sides prepared for the upcoming battle which was likely to be bloody and deadly for both sides. Shin readied his gun and his dagger but a voice he would recognize among a thousand stopped them before they even started to fight.

Captain Smoker had finally made his appearance. Seeing him leave his quarters, the soldiers stood at attention and a huge smile appeared on the pirate's lips. Although he was upset by this abbreviated fight, seeing his enemy make his entrance gave him shivers of pleasure but he did not lose his way and kept his weapons in his hands knowing full well that the officer would not let him go without a fight trying to arrest him.
- Smoky , finally, here you are ! I have missed you and your body, terribly.

- Pff, what a killjoy... You don't also want me to surrender without making a fuss anyway Smoky? You know me better than that.
- Of course i do, and even if it is vain I ask you, put down your weapons and surrender! Otherwise I'd have to pick you up myself and you know how it's going to end.
- Oh yes come get me Darling! You know how much I love when you play dominant with me, it always arouses me !
With no intention of surrendering, the pirate climbed onto the rail of his ship ready to plunge into the next battle between himself and the Marine. Seeing him do this, the soldiers aimed their guns and pointed them in his direction again.
- Smoky-chan, If you don't want all your little dogs to die before your eyes, you'd better stop them right now! This fight only concerns the two of us, it would be a shame for you and your superiors if there were a lot of collateral damage !
As soon as he finished his sentence, a bullet came to stick in his head. The man almost fell from his improvised pedestal but managed to stay still. You could see a hole on his forehead that was already beginning to close. Shin wiped the blood that was beading from the old wound, raging in his heart against the bullets of the Marines who did not even pass through their enemies, one more bullet to extract from his head. He sketched a sadistic smile and threw himself on the poor teenager who had just signed his death warrant. Deciding to ignore the other man's whining, Smoker called out to his soldiers :

Coming out of their immobility due to the pirate surviving a mortal wound, some understood why he was nicknamed The Immortal, the Marines nodded in heart and moved aside to leave the two men to their joust. Tashigi started to pull out her katana but her superior's command stopped her, she wanted to retort but the tone of his voice made her understand that the punishment was also valid for her.

Smoker ignored his opponent's spikes and engaged in combat. Taking advantage of the panic on board the building, he tried to escape but it was without counting on Tashigi, who arrived by he did not know what miracle, for her, to cut off his hand in wanting to stop him. Stunned by the audacity of the young girl, the pirate froze and sketched a smile, then he picked up his lost member and managed to regain his boat while the rest of the soldiers dived into the water to fish out their captain.
- You tell your boss that I'm sorry for the forced bath but I didn't have time to continue our little game of domination. Also tell him I can't wait to see him again for some entertainment ! Good day to you and hoping that you are engulfed by the waves ! Vice Commander Tashigi, I hope I will never see you again !
Under the bewildered gaze of the soldiers remaining on board, he took off at full speed, continuing to waves his newly attached hand in their direction, while Vice Commander Tashigi fumed. That pirate had managed to escape again, she couldn't take it anymore. In addition, Captain Smoker showed himself to be too slack with this worth nothing.

- Again I'm sorry but we have been instructed not to change the name of this pirate.

- From your superior, Captain Smoker, but if you still want to change the bounty you can.
Taken aback that her boss had given such an order for a simple pirate, the young girl was speechless for a few seconds before recovering herself and announcing the amount of the new bounty.

Once the bounty was confirmed, Tashigi hung up and threw the den den mushi to the nearest soldier and gave the order to return to Logue Town.

He didn't know why he was going to this particular one but his instinct never failed him and he felt his future was going to change.
After several miles of sailing, the boat's sole occupant woke up with Swallow Island in view, as well as a boat with a well-known flag that was one of those he avoids like the plague, red hair Shanks.
But you're starting to know him, our little Shin loves fights that can potentially be deadly for him, so on a whim and despite the fact that he was still recovering from his fight against the Marine, he changed his course to approach the ship of one of the most powerful pirates in this world.
