The noises of the skaters made you slightly regret your trip, but honestly you weren't here without a reason, or else you probably would've immediately just got out again.
No, this was your chance to talk to Utsushi, the Material Arts trainer that you're training under since you've joined the Kamura Material Arts team.
Sure, thre training was definitely one of the hardest you've ever been in, but the team was one of the nicest that you've encountered and definitely grew onto you like a family.
Or in case of Utsushi, a massive crush on him, but honestly, who can blame you - he was definitely hot, hell even some of the other students and the media, especially whenever he's in a huge tournament and is crushing the competition, are swooning over him.
Messy forest brown hair that seems to turn green in certain lights, golden amber eyes that seem to always capture your eyes whenever you look at him and honestly, just his stature in general put him into Top 5 hottest guys for you.
In your opinion are you lucky that the Gym doesn't have too strict of an outfit guideline for practice, so you can basically always see him wear a form fitting hooded top that definitely has driven you wild a few times.
Sure, it gets covered with a Gi whenever he's teaching new grabs, but it still counts.
Before you could continue to daydream about him (as if you wouldn't do that almost 24/7), you recalled why you got here - to talk to Utsushi outside of training.
But that's easier said than done.
Luckily you were able to drag Mira - Utsushi's second in command during training and best friend of his - quickly out of the hall and asked her about his usual whereabouts.
"Soooo.... You're asking me about where Utsushi is normally?", a girl asked after you dragged her out of the hall where the rest was currently practicing some new techniques.
She folds her hands behind the messy ponytail that adorned her head and dark brown eyes looked over with an amused glance," You wanna try to ask him out, don't you?"
Your face reddening told Mira everything she needed to know
"Hey, (Name), don't worry about me telling that Utsushi, 'kay?", she grins, before continuing, "We usually hang at the Skatepark in the city, which is actually quite badass compared to some others I know." Mira then gave you the address for the park.
"And a small tip between us - definitely wear something practical, Utsushi's definitely not going to let you leave without him teaching you how to skate", Mira added before waving you back to the group.
So, now that you're here, you have to find Utsushi, but the park was definitely packed with people skating and hanging out, a mix out of various music genres is hanging in the air and even if his forest brown hair is normally easy to spot, it's not so easy this time around, hell you even dread the fact that his hair's back to it's soft green glow out here, which fits perfectly with the mix out of natural hair colors and crazy ass ones that makes the crowd up.
The cherry on top of that chaos is, that you knew that Utsushi skates, isn't like he didn't got to the gym with a skateboard a few times, but you couldn't remember the decal, even if you tried. But you spot his backpack already at one of the ramps alongside Mira's and a few other ones, so that's something.
But it didn't took that long to spot him and if him effortlessly doing tricks and talking to some of the others whenever he's not skating was something you might've thought about, actually seeing it made your heart beat faster.
Or it's probably the fact that his shirt fell a bit down during a handplant that he did at one of the ramps and you couldn't stop glancing at his body with a gigantic blush.
'Shit! How should I be able to talk to him when he's currently making me blush like that?', you thought, but kept watching him do tricks.
"Wouldn't have thought that I would be meeting you here Ace"
"H-huh?!", you immediately jumped up and looked to where the voice came from and spotted Utsushi a bit further away from you.
Aw crap, he noticed you staring at him, right?
"Oh, hey Utsushi", you grinned nervously, "I was close by so I decided to come here"
"That's seriously gnarly Ace!", Utsushi grins full heartedly, "You wanna go for a round or not?"
"Uh, not really. I was about to go.", you replied, hoping that your blush wasn't visible, "And besides that, I really don't know how to skate"
"Isn't like I can teach ya Ace", and there was it, Utsushi usual enthusiasm whenever it comes to helping someone out.
Well, no way out then.
"Sure", you told him with a smile, "I would love to"
