If I could, I’d freeze this moment
Make it my home

I can tell you mean it when you kiss me slow
But please don’t ask me, the answer’s no
Someone took a seat beside her and hugged her waist.
“You guys done?” She softly asked as she adjusted her posture to pull her closer to herself.
The other party just nodded in response and silence enveloped them as they both stared at the bonfire in front of them. Inside the AirBnB they’re renting for the long weekend, somebody turned on the music and they would both hum from time to time with the faint sound reaching their place.
One harsh wind blew, the fire in front of them got weak for a second and she shuddered at the cold.
“It’s cold, right?” The person beside her lifted her head from her shoulder and faced her, daring her to nod so she can tell her infamous ‘I told you so.’ She knew her too well, knowing she’s competitive at everything that she’ll also want to win this game of wits.
She soflty smiled, “Kind of?”
She raised her eyes and didn’t stop staring until she said, “Yes, madam. It’s cold out here.”
Jungwoo rolled her eyes, “I told you so.”
“Yes, you win,” and they broke into soft chuckles. Jungwoo quickly kissed her cheek and told her she’ll get something inside the house.

“Where’d you get this?” she inspected the blanket and she could clearly tell it’s not a pattern she’d buy or keep, if it was a gift.
Jungwoo burst into laughters and though she managed to answer, it was impossible to guess what she’s saying. Hyowon looked at her in complete confusion, but later also joined her laughing. Not because she gets her joke but because she looks so happy and funny and she’s not sure, maybe her laugh is just contagious.
“Why are you laughing?” she managed to ask in between laughters. “You’re making me laugh, too.” She inhaled and exhaled to held in her laughters. She also encouraged Monika to do the same, “Let’s calm down, okay.”
Monika followed her breathing pattern and got rid of the fits of laughters. “It’s Rihey’s. I was supposed to get our jackets but I saw her luggage open.” She took a deep breath again as she felt the laughters coming back. She’s not drunk, they’re all too tired to drink. But does why stealing something from Rihey’s luggage sounds so funny? It’s even funnier when she’s sharing it with Hyowon. She’s still in the moment but she’s already missing laughing with her for completely nonsense reasons.
