Don’t be Afraid of the Unexpected: Summer of 2017
This summer would be different from all the others Renée had in her eleven years of life. She knew that. Yet, she still expected it to be the same.
Her first sign should’ve been when her older (half) brother, Teddy, ran off to his girlfriend, Victoire Weasley’s, house the first day she had returned from Hogwarts. She should have expected him to do so. He had spent most of his first year as a Hogwarts graduate with his family. Spent many afternoons with Renée in London, or visiting the Weasley’s -the ones that weren’t at Hogwarts, and spent many nights playing muggle board games in the family room.
12 Grimmauld Place hadn’t been as dark and gloomy as it was when the Black family had occupied it. Now that Sirius and Remus had officially made it home for their family of four, they completely flipped the house. It still had its dark corners, and the room with the Black family tree was something no magic could get rid of, but it was much more lively nowadays and with fewer portraits as well.
The days Renée wasn't hanging out with Teddy, she spent with her best mates, Rose Weasley and Albus Potter. The three grew up together. With their parents being friends -or related, in Rose and Albus’ case- it wasn’t hard for the three of them to form a solid trio. Albus and Rose would even argue they’re a better trio then their parents Harry, Ron, and Hermione are. Falling into their normal summer routine had been easy. Rose and her brother Hugo’s muggle school year ended around the same time as Hogwarts school year. So the night Rose finished her year, she and Renée had a sleepover, then went over to the Potter’s the next morning. Their adventures only continued from there.
As June turned to July, she still expected things to be normal. Yes, she had seen Teddy less, and yes, her dads seemed to value all the time they had with Renée, and yes, all the adults in her life continuously asked if she was ready and excited for Hogwarts, but she thought it’d die down. It didn’t.
In early July, Sirius came up to his daughter with a photo album in hand. He sat next to her on her bed and started going through the album. He explained every picture in the book. Most of them had been pictures of Sirius himself, with a variety of people in Hogwarts uniforms. He pointed out James and Lily Potter, Harry’s parents. Renée could see how he resembled them. He also pointed out Peter Pettigrew, the man responsible for his wrongful imprisonment. Sirius said his name with a bit of disgust and disappointment. He also named the two other girls that showed up frequently as Mary and Marlene. The person who showed up the most though, was Remus, especially as they got older. Each photo of the two had captions written on them like ‘Padfoot and Moony sucking face’, ‘How come Sirius let’s Moony touch his hair but not me?’, and even ‘Remus and Sirius fell asleep during our study group, how am I supposed to get help now?’. Sirius explained that James had taken most of the photos and wrote all of the captions on them.
There was an obvious time change in the middle of the book. One page was baby Harry Potter with his toy broomstick and the next was an older Harry Potter holding his oldest child, James, when he was a baby. Sirius skipped a page and pointed at a picture of a pregnant woman who had similar features as Remus.
“This is the woman who gave birth to you.” He explained. “She was our surrogate. Harry suggested your Da and I have a child of our own, and my Moony already contributed to our dear son Teddy so it only made sense it was my turn.”
“Dad, I’ve heard this story before.”
“Yes, Darling, but I’ve never shown you her picture. And it was so hard to find a witch who resembled your Da, but we found her. Her name was Jenna, didn’t give us a last name.” Renée gave him a look asking him to get on with the point. He sighed. “I realized last night that I had never shown you who you came from. You’ll be thanking us for how you turn out as an adult, good or bad.”
Renée knew she had gotten lucky with her genes. She had Sirius’ greyish eyes and his small but strong figure. She had Remus’ straight hair and his face shape, including his sharp jawline. Her hair colour is a mixture of Sirius’ black hair and Remus’ sandy brown hair, a dark brown color that gets real light in the sun and real dark when wet. And her skin tone is a fair olive colour, a noticeable Black trait. Her personality is very much like Sirius’ as is her habits. She debated on how to respond to. “Dad, I appreciate this information, truly, but where is this all coming from?”, she settled on.
He took a deep breath. “Darling, you’ve been eleven for almost two months now, and you’ll be receiving your Hogwarts letter soon. I want you to remember where you came from, but most importantly that we love you no matter what. We’re going to miss you here, and your Da and I don’t want you to be worrying about how we’ll feel about something. We want you to have fun,” he paused. “And to continue this album. It got difficult to keep putting Teddy’s picture in once he left for school.” He looked teary eyed but still smiled.
Renée wrapped her arms around her Dad. She wasn’t that surprised that he started getting a bit emotional. “Thank you, Dad. I promise not to worry as long as you promise not to worry about me. I remember how you both were during Teddy’s first year. And trust me, the whole book will be filled when you get it back.” She smiled at her Dad’s tearful smile.
“Splendid, Darling.” He wiped his eyes. “Ugh, I hoped I wouldn't be this emotional when you’d go to Hogwarts. Teddy was bad enough, but now you… Oh Merlin, I'm getting old.” The two laughed.
Renée has never had that kind of emotional talk with her Dad before. He never felt the need to, her Da either. She supposed it was because he was getting old, that he was getting sappy. She didn’t feel like either of her dads were getting old, didn’t really notice it. Even when Sirius cut his hair, leaving it just long enough to pull into a small bun up on the top of his head. Even when Remus started getting gray hairs in the mix with his sandy locks. Renée had always seen them as young. They’d always go on and on about tales from their youth, and that’s how she saw them.
After Sirius and Renée’s talk, things seemed to be normal. Until Harry announced that his annual summer/birthday party would be family only this year. That still meant tons of people (family includes all the Weasley’s, the Lupins, and even Harry’s cousin Dudley), but it would be significantly less than last year's party.
“Is One Direction still invited?” Lily, Harry’s youngest daughter asked. She’d been a huge fan, along with Renée, Rose, and Lucy (Percy Weasley’s youngest daughter) since 2013.
“Yes, of course Lily! They’re family to us!” Harry grinned. He’d always invited the members of the now broken up, muggleborn boy band. All five members attended. Having gone to Hogwarts themselves -where they met and formed their boy band- they were beyond amazed to meet Harry Potter backstage at one of their concerts in 2013. From then, they kept in touch, especially with the Lupins. Sirius loved the pop-rock vibe of their third album and took the girls to as many concerts as he could up until their last show in 2015.
The day of the party arrived rather quickly for Renée. Per usual for the Lupins, they were late. Sirius had either taken too long picking out his outfit or doing his hair, Renée never knew. Maybe it was a mixture of both.
Half an hour after the party had already started, Sirius and Remus finally walked down the stairs, finding their kids waiting in the kitchen. Remus had been wearing Sirius’ favourite sweater with his usual jeans. Sirius’ outfit that had taken oh so long to put together ended up just being a simple t-shirt and jeans, paired together with his black leather jacket and Chuck Taylor’s. Their attire was casual and the family looked well with Renée in a flowery blouse and jeans and Teddy in a bright blue t-shirt that matched his hair. Having the both of them grow up with Sirius as a Dad, gave them both a learned sense of style. And they always seemed to unintentionally match. Always. Whether it be the same colour, or similar colour pallets, or they all wore the same kind of shoe, it always managed to happen and today was no different. The burgundy in Remus’ sweater matched the burgundy details in both Teddy and Sirius’ shirts and some of the flowers on Renée’s blouse.
Per Remus’ request, the Lupin family drove their black 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Hebought the car back in 2000, when Teddy was two. The car is nearly as old as Sirius and Remus, but it’s Remus’ baby. He had insisted that he get a muggle drivers license and buy a car before Sirius got a motorcycle. The car reminded him of the band Fleetwood Mac and he knew instantly he wanted it. Buying that old car might have cost them a pretty penny, but it couldn’t fly so Remus thinks it’s perfect. Sirius could do whatever he wanted to the motorcycle but wasn’t allowed to mess with Remus’ car.
“Honestly I don’t care what kind of charms you put on that thing, I’m not going to be the one riding it.” Remus had said.
Renée loved Sirius’ motorcycle. The two of them would take frequent rides anytime they could. Sirius bought all of them helmets, even though only Renée -and sometimes Teddy- would ride with Sirius. Sirius would wear his leather jacket and Renée would wear a slightly oversized riding jacket from Harley Davidson. Naturally, Sirius did put the flying charm on the motorcycle, but that just made Renée love being on it more.
The car ride to the Potter’s house only took about forty-five minutes. The few cars parked opposite of the house, obviously belonged to the muggleborn singers. All four were black with very tinted windows.
Sirius practically jumped out the car as they arrived. He didn’t even knock on the door of the house, he simply walked in, his husband and kids following behind him. They walked up to the dining table, where all the adults had been sitting.
“Ah, the Lupin’s are here at last!” Harry (Potter) stood up from his seat to properly greet everyone. Harry had thrown enough family parties to know how to host well. After hugging the family he turned to Renée and Teddy. “The rest of the kids are out back if you’d like to join them.”
“Thank you, Harry.” Teddy smiled, and ran off in search of his girlfriend.
Renée waved at all the adults before heading towards the back door. Many of the adults at the table had been Weasley’s. Grandma Molly and Grandpa Authur had been at the table. And of course, all of their children and children-in-laws had been sitting around the table as well. Bill and Fleur, Percy and Audrey, George and Angelina, Ron and Hermione, and Ginny and Harry. Even Charlie, the eldest, managed to make it that year. Then of course Harry (Styles), Louis, Niall, Liam, and Zayn had been sat as well.
As Renée went outback, she realized that just as many kids had been at the party as adults, most being Weasley’s as well. Victoire and Teddy were sitting together by the pool, holding hands. Dominique and Molly II were sitting on pool lounges, tanning in their bathing suits. Louis, Fred II, Roxanne, and James were huddled together at one of the tables on the porch, most likely coming up with new prank ideas. Renée could see Lucy, Lily, and Hugo playing in the flower field just beyond the pool. And Rose and Albus were sitting on one of the porch tables reading, though Albus looked bored out of his mind.
Renée walked up to Rose and Albus, sitting down beside Rose. They both had been reading muggle books Renée had never heard of. “Hey!”
Albus looked relieved as he grinned up from the book. “Hiya!”
Rose kept her eyes on her book as she spoke. “I suppose Sirius held you up again?”
“Suppose so. Don’t really go up and ask.” Rose rolled her eyes at the response. Albus on the other hand, gave a look that said ‘ew’ while being spooked. Renée simply laughed.
The trio chatted for a while. About an hour into Renée’s arrival, she spotted Harry (Potter)’s cousin’s daughter, Petunia, making her way to their table. She was eleven, just like them, and was preparing to attend Hogwarts with them as well. At four years old, Petunia started showing magical ability. Dudley, her father, called Harry up instantly, apologizing profusely for how he acted in their youth and asked for advice on his daughter. Ever since then they’d been invited to all Potter hosted events. The two usually only came to the summer/birthday party, living nearly an hour and a half away in the outskirts of Surrey. While Petunia usually stuck around Rose, Renée, and Albus at family events, she was never really a part of their trio. Renée supposed it was because they all knew she seemed to get along with Lucy more but was expected to hang out with them.
A few hours later, the kids had been called in to eat. It was clear the sun was going to set within the hour and everyone had been snacking on the crisps and veggies set on the table. The trio ran inside to get to the kitchen before all the other kids. On the island in the middle of the kitchen, they found trays of food, as well as a plate and drink area on a different counter. Usually, Grandma Molly prepares the supper for events. Renée didn’t expect to find that Ginny had prepared the trays of food that year. The food wasn’t as good as Molly’s usually is, but Renée kept that to herself.
The kids ended up sitting at the table set up on the side of the dining room dubbed ‘the kids table’. It was only pulled out for big family events like this. The conversation seemed to flow between the two tables. Harry (Styles) and Zayn had been talking to Lily and Lucy about their solo albums while George talked to Rose, Albus, and Renée about the firework display he set up for after dinner. They promised to keep quiet about it. It was a wonderful evening, the conversations not stopping until Ginny pulled out the cake she baked for Harry (Potter). After lighting the candles and dimming the lights, everyone gathered around the end of the table, singing ‘Happy Birthday’. The song ended with Harry (Styles) saying, “Happy Birthday, Harry!” And Harry (Potter) responded with, “Cheers, Harry!”
True to his word, George dragged everyone outside after cake to show his firework display. The fireworks, from his store Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, were bright and colourful and some were even shaped like Harry’s lightning bolt scar. The display lasted about twenty minutes, and ended with a promotional firework for his store.
The party died down after the firework display. Ginny gathered leftovers for everyone before they went on their way. As the family made their way to the car, Harry (Styles) and Louis followed across the street.
“So, er, Remus, Sirius, I had something I’d like to ask you.” Harry announced as they reached the sidewalk.
Remus handed Teddy the keys to the car while Sirius spoke. “Start the car, won’t you?” Any time the two of them were asked to talk about something, they had Teddy and Renée stay in another room, or in this case, sit in the car. She thinks they always expect the worst, like the possibility of another war, and act to protect their kids out of instinct. Doesn’t make it any less annoying for her.
Still, she obeyed and tried not to listen in. Their whispering was quiet enough that she couldn’t seem to catch what was being said. After what felt like an hour later, her Dad finally got in the car. They looked at each other over the console, then looked behind their shoulders at Renée, smiling.
“Darling, Harry’s just asked us if you’d like to be in his new music video with Albus and Rose.” Sirius spoke.
The surprise in her face couldn’t be concealed. “What? Really? Me?”
Remus spoke now. “Yes, Dear, you. We’ve already told him yes, but still wanted to make sure. If not, we can always owl him in the morning.”
“No no no. I’d love to! When?” She couldn’t tell how fast she had spoken but didn’t think much of it as she was practically speechless.
“Sometime in August. He said he’d owl us the details.”
“Congrats, Renée. This is amazing!” Teddy clapped his hand on her shoulder affectionately. Renée could slightly see his smile in light that came down from a lamppost outside. She smiled back, still at a loss of words.
The car ride back to Grimmauld Place was filled with David Bowie playing from the radio speakers and excitement shown on Renée’s face, only seen as they drove past street lamps.
The post that arrived on the morning of the 24th, of July, was fairly normal, except for one letter. Sirius nearly squealed in delight and Remus went up to fetch Renée. She sleepily walked down the stairs behind him muttering, “You two are mental, it’s eight in the morning. It’s summer.”
She looked up as she reached the kitchen, Sirius standing in front of her. He handed the letter out to her. She grabbed it with the expectation that it was Rose or perhaps even Albus. What she didn’t expect was to see the Hogwarts emblem on the back of the letter. She read the letter thrice before looking back up at her parents.
“This is it, darling.” Sirius smiled widely at her. Remus stood behind him with the same smile. A proud look on both their faces.
“Here, give us the supplies. Owl Min- McGonagall, then your friends. We’ll try to set up a Diagon Alley trip for all of us.” Remus stuck his hand out for the supply list. Renée didn’t even realize she’d also received a supply list. She fumbled to find the list and hand it to her Da.
She ran back up to her bedroom as fast as she could. She didn’t mind the fact she was nearly out of breath as she pulled out some parchment and a muggle pen, and quickly scratched out a letter to send back to Hogwarts. She pulled out some more parchment to send to Rose. She first asked if she’d received her letter as well and then when they should set a date to go to Diagon Alley. Renée ran back down to send her letter to Hogwarts first using the post owl. She then sent her letter to Rose using Remus’ brown barn owl, Noctua.
Remus had just finished up with breakfast as Renée sent out her letters. “Sit, dear.” He sat a plate down in front of the seat she would usually sit in. He poured a cup of orange juice with his wand and brought it to her as well.
She sat and ate. She was still surprised by that morning's events. She knew her letter was to arrive soon but she didn’t expect it to be so soon. They still had more than a month until term starts.
Later that day, Rose responded that she did receive her letter and would like to go to Diagon Alley as soon as they can. She also mentioned that she owled Albus, though she doubted he’d be awake.
The Weasley’s and Potter’s -and therefore the Lupin’s and Petunia Dursley- decided to go to Diagon Alley in early August. They sent all the kids, minus Lily and Hugo, as well as Hermione and Bill. The two adults came up with a flawless plan for everyone to get all their supplies quickly. Rose, Renée, Albus, and Petunia would go with Dominique and Lucy for wands (for the four first years) and new robes for the six of them. The rest of the kid split up and got everyone’s books while Hermione and Bill got any other necessary items.
Renée had been to Diagon Alley plenty. She used to go with her Dads and Teddy during his first few years at Hogwarts. If Remus or Sirius needed to go, Renée would invite Rose and Albus along and make a day out of it. Sometimes, mostly during the months everyone was in school, she’d tag along when Sirius would head over for beauty products or when Remus needed more owl food. She loved Diagon Alley. The atmosphere was so different from muggle London, and she adored it. This trip was only slightly different. Renée got to step into Ollivander’s for the first time, which was an experience all in itself. She got to experience the post-shopping ice cream trip at Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor. She got to pick out her own owl, a snowy owl with brown spots only on his tail she named Hermès.
Renée’s trip to Ollivander’s was not as she expected. No mysterious wind blew in her face as her wand glowed white. She was the first of the group to step up and find a wand. To her surprise, she had taken all the lights from the candles in the shops, twirled the light around, and relit the candles with it. She didn’t even know she could do that. Ollivander smiled and explained that the cedar wood with a phoenix feather core wand had chosen her.
After sorting the books and supplies, they all returned to the Burrow -Grandma Molly and Grandpa Authur’s house- where everyone was waiting for their return. Grandma Molly and Ginny made dinner together and Sirius helped Ron set up tables and chairs in the backyard. Whenever the whole family ate dinner at the Burrow, they would set up loads of tables and chairs, as well as lanterns, and eat out back. Renée loved when they did this. The sky was usually clear enough to see all the stars and Sirius would start pointing out the constellation to everyone. Remus would always be the one to point at the Sirius star, though.
Shortly after her Diagon Alley, Renée received a letter from Harry Styles, stating that the music video filming would take place the 15th, and that he would pick her and her Dads up at 11 that morning. Renée excitedly showed the letter to them not even a minute later.
The morning of the 15th, Renée had been so excited to be in a music video that she was ready downstairs at 10:30. Dressed in her muggle clothes and sat on the kitchen island, waiting for her Dads.
Harry pulled up at five before 11. Renée practically dragged her Dads out to his car in excitement. As she climbed in the back of his black Range Rover, she noticed Louis in the passenger seat. She was thankful for the size of the backseat as she realized she sat herself in between her dads. Harry explained the trip would only take half an hour and that Ginny and Hermione would be apparating to the studio with Albus and Rose, living over an hour from the studio.
Renée couldn’t wait to get to the studio. She tried to conceal her excitement, and she wasn’t squealing out loud, which was a start. She could feel the huge grin she wore on her face but tried to ignore it. Maybe if she focused on everything else. She could see her parents look at each other now and then in her peripherals. She could see the road in front of her. She could see Harry holding Louis’ hand on top of the center console as he drove. She could see how clean the light leather interior of the car was. Then, she worried. She worried her hair wouldn’t be right. She worried she’d make a face on camera.
Her worrying got cut short as she noticed Harry pull into the lot of a filming studio. The excitement came back to her. Excitement mixed with nerves, but still excitement. Just as they all piled out of the car, Renée spotted Rose and Hermione appear from around the building. She’s not sure exactly where they apparated to but it was really the least of her worries. As soon as Rose saw her, she barrelled towards Renée with a hug. She was clearly just as excited as Renée.
Harry led them into the studio. Inside was a huge set. Multiple fake rooms and fake corridors. Rose told Renée that it looked a bit like the hallways in her muggle school and the big room was a gym. Renée looked to her left to see a bunch of kids, and their parents, sitting in fold out chairs. None of the kids could’ve been older than eleven, she supposed. She easily spotted Albus and Ginny, Albus looking painfully nervous. Renée found a chair with her Dads while Harry stood up in front of everyone. She pretended not to notice how Louis ran off to another room. Harry explained that they'd be filming a huge food fight. He told everyone that he had wardrobe changes for them as well as dressing rooms. He even hired a couple hair and makeup people for the kids. After having everyone sign consent forms and other papers, he showed everyone to the hallway of dressing rooms, saying their room would have their name on it. Renée wasn’t really surprised to find that her, Rose, and Albus’ rooms were next to each other.
The dressing room was pretty spacious, a huge mirror on one wall and a couch sat against the wall across from it. On the chair, for the vanity section of the mirror, was a blue suit in a plastic covering. Upon taking the suit out, she noticed it had pink flowers all over. She wondered if everyone else had been given a suit like hers. She changed then called her Dads in to make sure she’d done it all right.
“The suit doesn’t even have a tie, how could you have done it wrong?” Remus asked calmly while Sirius hugged her tight.
“You’re just nervous, Darling. And for no reason, you look amazing. You’re going to be amazing.” It was moments like these where Renée was glad she had a loving family. She was glad, because she knew her parents had a rough childhood and they both tried so hard to make hers perfect. And she always believed it was.
She took a deep breath. Three counts in, three counts out. “You’re right. Both of you.”
They smiled. “Of course we are.” Remus joined the hug. For most of Renée’s life, it has just been the three of them. When Teddy had been at Hogwarts, Renée spent most of her time with her Dads. When she was younger, she was with the Weasley and Potter kids plenty, but once Rose started muggle primary school, she spent her time at home. Albus and Lily came over from time to time, but with most of the children at Hogwarts, she had to find other ways to entertain herself. She explored the house, read the books in the library, followed her parents around, etc. She was never bored and never lonely.
Remus and Sirius stayed in the room as a woman knocked and entered, introducing herself as the makeup and hair stylist. She shook hands with the three of them before speaking. “Alright, Harry said to keep everything pretty natural, we do want your hair curlier though.”
Renée nodded, not really knowing what to say. She felt comfort in her London accent despite not remembering if she gave her name. The stylist said a few more things before getting to work. Renée tuned her out slightly, grin huge as she nodded to her words.
Less than an hour later, Renée had all of her blemishes covered in makeup, a small amount of blush and eyeshadow on her face and her hair curled. Sirius cooed over how adorable she looked and Renée just hoped her face wasn’t getting any pinker. The stylist left shortly after she finished cleaning up, moving on to the next room Renée supposed.
“Harry said that he’d come get everyone when they're ready.” Remus told Renée. She nodded.
She engaged in the conversation Sirius started after, she listened, she answered. All she could think about though, was the shoot. It was gonna happen soon and she didn’t even know what to expect. She sat up straight, hoping to not crease the clearly ironed suit. Excitement and nerves ran through her as they waited. Her leg started to shake slightly. Remus noticed, but pretended not to.
After what felt like ages to Renée, but was truly only about twenty minutes, a knock came at the door. Renée whipped her head around to look at the door but didn’t say anything as Louis popped his head in. “Harry’s ready for you.” He supplied, with a smile.
The three followed Louis further into the studio, where they found most of the other kids and parents, closer by the sets. It didn’t take long for everyone else to come along following behind Harry, who wore the same patterned blue suit as Renée. She looked confused, as none of the other kids were wearing suits like hers, especially when Rose and Albus sat next to her. They had been dressed in more normal muggle clothes. She thought the clothes style seemed a bit dated but she also didn’t know that much about muggle fashion and let it be.
They finally started filming twenty minutes later. It didn’t go as smoothly as she hoped it would, but it was happening. They had Renée hold a container of cupcakes as she walked through the fake corridors. The rest of the kids had been set around the fake cafeteria, surrounding a table full of different cakes.
After many hours, many breaks, and lots of cake, Harry gathered everyone, saying they had enough footage and could change and get home. Being Renée and her Dad's ride, they stayed with Harry and Louis at the studio until they left, which wasn’t much longer. Rose and Albus -and both of their mothers- stayed for a bit as well, chatting about the video. Harry promised to show them all the finished video first. Renée didn’t want to bring up that her, Rose, and Albus would be at Hogwarts when the video would release.
They ate some of the leftover cakes before leaving as well. Renée was shocked to see that it hadn’t really started to get dark out as they left. It would definitely be dark when they arrived home, though. She was in a peaceful bliss on the ride back. She still could believe she was going to be in a music video, let alone the child with the most screen time. Not to mention the puppies they brought in half way through? She didn’t know how this really happened. Her wide grin stayed as she looked around the car. Being sat in the middle again, she could see Harry and Louis’ hands intertwined across the center console, the two passing glances at each other from time to time. She could see some of the times her Dads smiled at each other, Remus putting his arm up around the headrests to reach over and play with Sirius’ hair. Everyone was happy.
August faded away as quickly as it came for Renée. It didn’t rain as much as the month prior, so she spent as much time as she could outside with Teddy, with Rose, with Albus, anyone available. Her and her Dads took another trip to Diagon Alley to get other things she’d need that weren’t simply supplies. Though, on or the less exciting months, it was definitely a good one for Renée. Another great thing that came with August that year was more anticipation and excitement for Hogwarts. That was all Renée could seem to talk about if she wasn’t being asked about the music video or what her plans for the day were. The summer might have been ending, but the fun wasn’t going to stop there.
