Work Text:
"No means no, Sana. I'm serious." Momo stated in a slightly threatening tone before getting out of her car, leaving the younger Japanese alone in the passenger's side.
Not a second later, she heard the door of Sana's side open, a loud, whiny voice following suit. "Come on, Mo, don't be so lame! I already told everyone you'd be there, that's why most are coming in the first place!"
Momo only rolled her eyes as she felt her lips tug to her eyes at the same time.
"Then, you should've known better than telling everyone I'll be there. You, of all people, know very well that I hate high school parties, Satang."
She entered the front door of her house, feeling Sana's presence close in tow. Momo threw her keys on the center table before heading straight to the kitchen to fish out a drink.
On the other hand, Sana continued to follow her, voice pleading as she tried to get the brunette to focus on what she was saying.
"This is not even- Momo, this is just a Christmas party, what harm could it even get you?"
Flicking the can of Pepsi open in her hand, Momo raised an eyebrow at the blonde. "All kinds. You're the one throwing it, after all." She shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly before taking a sip, holding in a smirk at her best friend's reaction.
"You little-" Sana sighed, massaging her temple as she tried her best to stay patient with the brunette for the sake of her party.
She knew if she told everyone that Momo's gonna be there, a lot more would want to come, that's why she did, even without asking the latter about it first. And now, here she is, having the hardest time to persuade her to come.
The two are both famous for being the star softball players in their school. However, Momo just really is more popular than the blonde, mainly because the former, aside from being a jock, is very prim and studious. Unlike most high school athletes, Momo takes both of her games and studies very seriously, not wanting to be like the other conceited players who thinks that being good at sports is already a good enough reason to become popular.
Jokes on them, because they all didn't expect that someone can actually pull off being excellent at both the books and the field at the same time. And, somehow, people found that a whole lot more attractive than just big biceps and stone hard abs.
(But it's not like Momo didn't have those, too, anyway. She does. The very reason why everyone simps helplessly over her. She's a whole-ass package.)
Sana, sure, tries her best to stay as scholarly as her best friend is, as well. However, her attention span just couldn't handle both sports and math no matter how hard she even tried. She, for some reason, just couldn't stay still and focused. It's okay, though. People knows it's what makes her Sana. And many, too, found that adorable.
After all, Sana is a total sweetheart, which is also a trait very unlikely to the typical asshole-minded high school jocks. And it made the blonde standout from the rest, as well.
"Please, Mo? I'll do your homework for a week- wait, no! A month! Fair deal, huh? What do you say?" Sana said, hands clasped tightly as she shook it back and forth pleadingly in front of the chuckling brunette.
Raising an eyebrow, Momo had to bite in another laugh. "No, Satang. I've made up my mind. Don't worry, your party's still gonna be a total blast even if I wasn't there."
Momo plopped down the couch and picked up the remote. She heard a huff from her best friend before Sana plops down beside her as well, shoulders slumped and bottom lip jutting out in a pout.
"Come on, Momo. I rarely ask you for a favor. Would you give this one to me, please?" Sana said in an obviously failed attempt of sounding cute, making Momo grimace. "It'll be your Christmas present! You wouldn't have to buy me anything anymore. Please, Momoring. Please, please? Pretty please?"
It's funny because Momo would rather buy Sana the entire mall than go to a high school party as a Christmas present for her. However, the blonde wasn't lying when she said she rarely asks a favor, either. On second thought, maybe Momo could give her this. After all, she's trying to save up for college too, so she could really use Sana's deal to her advantage.
Not to mention, homework-free for an entire month?
"Alright, alright. But just this once, okay?" She sighed.
Sana, then, jumped off the couch and danced around the living room victoriously, whisper-yelling incoherent words the brunette couldn't clearly understand, causing the latter to laugh amusedly to herself.
Well, a drink or two wouldn't hurt Momo every once in a while now, would it?
/
She pulled up in front of Sana's house, where she was immediately greeted by bright neon lights coming from everywhere inside the place and the upbeat music blasting from huge speakers in the poolside area of the Minatozaki manor.
Oh how Momo badly wants to go home already.
"Momo, my mannnnn, you made it!"
Sana is definitely drunk.
The younger Japanese came slurring towards the direction where the brunette is standing, an arm throwing over Momo's shoulder as she forcefully kissed the latter's cheek repeatedly. Momo groaned as she tried to dodge her best friend's sloppy kisses.
"And you say it's just a Christmas party..." Momo rolled her eyes, pushing the blonde's face away playfully with her hand.
Sana grinned, the smell of alcohol reeking from her breath. "Totally harmless." She said, causing the older girl to chuckle in return.
"You need to go easy on the booze, Satang."
"Everyone, everyone! Hirai Momo's here!" Sana ignored the brunette, pointing a finger at Momo who's chuckling lightly at her as she yelled towards the people scattered around the totality of the Minatozaki manor.
"Go, Momo!" Someone yelled as the others just hollered playfully, causing the brunette to laugh as she greeted them back.
"See? Everyone loves you." Sana chuckled, eyelids almost falling completely as she sent the older girl a cheeky smile. "Now tell me you regret coming to my party."
Momo grinned at her back, shaking her head. "I still might, seeing that your so called Christmas party isn't very family-friendly." She said, glancing over the couple behind the blonde who's now making out on a chair, almost half naked. "Jesus, is that chick trying to swallow her girlfriend over there?"
The question made Sana laugh, turning around to see who Momo was talking about. When she did, her eyes went wide when she saw her girlfriend's cousin aggressively making out in public with a girl who Sana only knew by the name Chaeyoung, a rookie in the women's softball team.
"Holy shit, Chou Tzuyu, get off that girl this instant! Jihyo's gonna murder both of us!" Sana yelled, but the couple seems to hear only their muffled moans and nothing else around them. When she got no reaction at all, the blonde groaned. "Seriously, this kid!" She said, marching over towards the couple and leaving a laughing Momo alone near the entrance of the manor's poolside.
She knew Sana's girlfriend, Park Jihyo, is very overprotective of her cousin, Tzuyu, which the latter despised. She hated being babied by the doe-eyed girl, who's only two years her senior, but that didn't stop Jihyo from acting all motherly towards her. And now, even Sana seems to get a little too watchful over Tzuyu as well, making sure to properly threaten everyone who dares to try wooing the younger girl.
Momo could watch the way Sana scolded the almost half naked couple sitting at one of the sun loungers by the pool deck forever, and she wouldn't even complain a bit. However, she was pulled out of her daze by a hand suddenly grabbing ahold of her shoulder in a very sensual manner. Closing her eyes, she sighed.
If you ask Momo why she hates high school parties so much, this is one of the many reasons why.
"Hey, Momo." The girl with a tanned complexion whispered against the brunette's ear, causing the latter to slightly jump in surprise. "Can I get you a drink?"
"Uhh," Momo let out with a light chuckle. "No, I'm good. I don't really drink that much."
The girl bit her lip as she continued to eye the brunette hungrily. "God, it's really sexy when you act all goody two-shoes. Do you know that?" She slowly snaked her arms around Momo's shoulders, who tried to take a few steps back.
"Uh, thanks?" Momo let out in an uncertain tone, reaching for the girl's wrists at the back of her neck to gently remove her grip around her.
Smiling seductively, the girl let her fingers travel down the brunette's cheek, instead, as she spoke. "You know, I've always wondered-"
"Hey, guys! Our brilliant cheer captain here wants to see some action, so wants to play seven minutes in heaven?"
Momo let out a relieved sigh when Sana's loud voice suddenly came yelling from a distance, cutting the girl latching onto her off from what she was about to say. Her gaze travelled towards Sana's direction, where she was standing next to her girlfriend, Jihyo, whom she assumed have just arrived alongside her best friend, Im Nayeon, the captain of the cheerleading squad.
Sana's statement had people cheering loudly, almost every single person agreeing to the idea of picking a random name from a fishbowl and locking themselves with that person inside the closet for seven whole minutes.
(Don't be surprised, this is a Christmas party; but thrown the Minatozaki Sana way. Meaning, it's far from the typical- no, it's far from decent.)
Momo wouldn't usually agree to these kind of games, as it really just isn't in her nature. However, she'd rather choose that over hanging out with this girl, who obviously just wants to spend the rest of the night with her in a way Momo isn't really down for.
So instead, she turned to the girl, who's now rolling her eyes in annoyance because of the distraction. Sending her a tight lipped smile, Momo mumbled. "I think we should go join them. It'll be fun."
After all, the chances of this girl picking her name from the fishbowl, or vice versa, are at the least possible extent. So Momo was rather confident to ask.
The girl, then, turned to her with an eyebrow raised questioningly. "Really?" She asked, and Momo just shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly.
The girl, then, let out a giggle as she replied rather enthusiastically. "Okay! Let's go!" Smiling that seductive smile once again, the girl laced her fingers with the brunette's as she started pulling her inside the house where the others are now gathered.
/
"Woooohoo!"
The people cheered loudly the second they opened the door of the walk in closet where a drunken Jeongyeon came stumbling out of, and a smirking Mina following suit. She even wiped her lips using the back of her hand seductively as she sat back down on her seat while her eyes are still glued to a flustered Jeongyeon a few meters away from her.
"Well, those are some noises I'm not gonna be able to get rid off my mind for the next few weeks." Jihyo mumbled beside Momo, who let out an amused chuckle.
"Oh, please. It's not like you're not a screamer, yourse- Ow, fuck! Alright, I'm sorry! Sana, get your woman off me!" Momo yelled, trying to remove Jihyo's tight grip on her ear.
"My turn!" The blonde seemed like she didn't hear anything as she went straight for the transparent fishbowl in Dahyun's hand.
Sana eagerly picked a folded piece of pink colored-paper from the bowl. Opening it, she immediately read the name out loud.
"Kim Dahyun!" Sana yelled, a frown suddenly forming on her face a second later. "Wait, this isn't Jihyo." She mumbled, folding the paper again and placing it back to the fishbowl before picking another one.
A few light-hearted chuckles were heard from the people gathered in the room. After another second, Sana picked up another piece of paper, once again unfolding it and reading the name out loud. "Cho Miyeon- No!" The blonde yelled once again before throwing the paper back inside the bowl.
"Oh, for god's sake." Momo heard Jihyo mumble beside her before standing up, walking straight towards Sana, and immediately pulling the blonde down for an aggressive, heated kiss.
The crowd went wild at the doe-eyed girl's gesture, especially when Jihyo decided to pull Sana towards the direction of the giant walk-in closet completely and swiftly locking it behind her.
/
Momo found herself walking towards the kitchen to fetch something to drink. Sana and Jihyo's time inside the closet is almost over, and people are already getting ready for the next ones to play.
Confident that it wouldn't be her, Momo leaned against the counter and watched the way Sana stumbles out of the closet from afar, followed by her girlfriend, whose neck is now full of purple-colored bruises and marks, which are obviously of the blonde's immaculate work.
Chuckling to herself, Momo attempted to finish off the rest of the beer in the cup she's holding. However, she suddenly heard a soft, unfamiliar giggle coming from a close proximity next to her spot.
"That is so typical of Jihyo and Sana."
The sweet, honey voice came echoing not far from her, causing Momo to turn around to see who it was. And there beside her, stood the cheerleading captain of their school, one of the most popular ones, and the best friend of her best friend's girlfriend,
Im Nayeon.
Momo and Nayeon aren't the really friendliest towards each other. But don't take it the wrong way, they aren't rivals either. They're just simply strangers, at least that's what Momo had always thought, as the two never really had an actual conversation before.
Well, not until today, when Nayeon stood next to the brunette, casually taking a sip from the red plastic cup in her hand, alcohol and expensive perfume reeking from her clothes in an aesthetically pleasing combination. That scent took Momo a little by surprise, not expecting to get slightly addicted by it almost instantly.
Although they barely had an encounter before, Momo always thought the older girl was pretty (gorgeous), but she doesn't really like to voice out her opinions that much. After all, Sana teasing the hell out of her and trying to hook her up with Jihyo's best friend is definitely the last thing Momo needs.
What if she wasn't interested at all? Or what if Nayeon isn't? That would've been really awkward for the four of them.
But, yeah, Momo could use a small talk with the gorgeous cheer captain every once in a while. I mean, who is she to complain about it? It'd be an honor to get to befriend the epitome of perfection that is Im Nayeon.
"I swear, those two can never keep it in their pants." Momo chuckled lightly as well before finishing off the rest of the beer in her cup.
The comment earned another giggle from the older girl.
"Hey, you said it." Nayeon said, turning to glance at the brunette who's also looking at her, lazy eyes slightly shrinking in size as Momo sent her a cheeky grin. The cheerleader mirrored the expression before mumbling in a slightly bashful tone. "See you around, Hirai Momo."
Nayeon, then, immediately walked towards the rest, leaving a smiling Momo alone by herself standing at the bar.
Momo watched closely as the others shoved the fishbowl over to Nayeon, who's now laughing heartily as she picked a random piece of paper from the transparent glass container.
Why on earth haven't I thought of ever initiating a conversation with this girl before? Momo found herself asking the question internally.
She was starting to get lost in her own little world, staring amusedly towards the cheerleader's direction, when the latter's head suddenly snapped towards her, hazel eyes twice bigger in size and an unfolded piece of colored paper in her hand. Momo watched the way Nayeon's face blushed in an instant the moment they met gazes, the same time the crowd gathered around the older girl cheered loudly at the top of their lungs, amused and excited voices chanting in unison.
"Momo! Momo! Momo!"
/
"Go get it, Momoring! I cheered the loudest, so don't embarrass me, okay?" Sana yelled a little too enthusiastically right next to Momo's ear, causing the latter to flinch as she let the younger Japanese drag her and shove her rather harshly inside the giant walk-in closet.
She couldn't really do anything about it. Sana tends to get a thousand times stronger when she's drunk.
Not a second later, Momo heard Jihyo's teasing voice echoing from the outside of the closet where she's in.
She was surprised when the door suddenly opened again and Jihyo instantly pushed Nayeon inside, causing the latter to trip on her heels. Thank god Momo's reflexes were fast enough to catch the cheerleader in time and grab a firm hold on her arm.
The sight made Jihyo smirk even wider, eyes travelling from Momo's grip on Nayeon's arm, back to her blushing best friend, then to the confused brunette. She couldn't bite off a chuckle.
"Have fun." The doe-eyed girl winked before completely shutting the door of the closet behind her.
Silence instantly fell between the two of them, as Nayeon finally stood on her feet properly, mumbling a hushed, "Sorry," to the brunette. Momo smiled as she continued to watch the older girl.
"So," Nayeon started, finally gaining the confidence back in her voice. Looking up, she met Momo's amused gaze. "It's you again."
Momo chuckled, shaking her head as she leaned her back against her side of the closet in a comfortable position. "This entire game's a stupid idea."
"Is that so?" Nayeon tilted her head to the side as she watched the brunette intently. "Why'd you join, then?"
Momo just shrugged. "Well, I never thought my name would actually get picked by anyone. I mean, a lot of people joined."
The statement had the cheerleader chuckling lightly. She crossed her arms before leaning against her side of the closet as well, right across from the smiling brunette.
"Not one for steamy make-out sessions and one-night stands, are you?"
Momo shook her head, a grin still plastered on her face. "Not really my thing."
"So I guess we're not doing it, then."
Nayeon's response took Momo a little by surprise, eyes widening slightly, yet immediately composing herself, anyway. Letting out a chuckle, she retorted. "Well, do you want to?"
She didn't say no, as it might offend Nayeon, and that is certainly the last thing the brunette wants. After all, if the older girl decides to say yes to her question, it's not like Momo would complain.
(She wouldn't. Not at all.)
However, Nayeon shrugged her shoulders, instead. "Nah. If you're not down for it, then neither am I."
Momo continued to stare at the cheerleader across from her and sent her a warm, charming smile that had Nayeon's heart beating ten times faster than normal.
"Okay." Momo mumbled out huskily, making Nayeon blush. Although, she immediately hid it with a light chuckle, earning a questioning gaze from the brunette. "What?"
Nayeon shook her head.
"Nothing. I just thought it's kinda weird. Usually, in high schools, the head cheerleader has always something to do with the jock. Yet, here we are, having our first ever conversation at Sana's party inside her giant walk-in closet." She said, earning a chuckle from the brunette as well. "I just can't help but wonder why we never had an encounter earlier before. I mean, we managed to get to senior year without ever engaging in an actual conversation, when we literally share almost half of our classes." Nayeon added, shaking her head a little and smiling back at Momo bashfully. "Hell, our best friends are even dating for god's sake."
The last statement made Momo laugh, as well, head nodding in agreement.
"It's definitely weird." She said, biting her lip in an attempt to prevent her smile from tearing her face in half. "But hey, we're here. Better late than never, right?"
Deciding to change the subject matter, Nayeon spoke next.
"I assume you're not really a party girl, since I rarely see you in one. What made this an exception?"
Momo smiled, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly as she spoke.
"Your best friend's girlfriend. That idiot's got my heart." She said, causing Nayeon to smile widely back.
"You and Sana are really close, huh?"
Momo nodded. "Her dad's a family friend, so we've known each other since forever." She explained. "You know we even nearly dated," That made Nayeon's eyes widen a little as she sent the brunette an amused smile. "But then, I realized I'm not into her that way. Thankfully, she isn't too." Momo chuckled, head shaking at the thought, before looking back up towards the grinning cheerleader across from her. "What about you, Nayeon?"
Nayeon loved the way her name rolled off Momo's tongue. She wondered how the brunette made it sound a lot sexier than it should.
Looking down to hide another blush on her face, Nayeon mumbled. "What about me?"
"How long have you known Jihyo?"
"Well, Jihyo and I used to share a few classes in middle school. But we only became actual friends when we both joined the cheerleading squad in freshman year." She explained, smiling lightly to herself. "You know, I was actually surprised you chose to try out for the softball team, instead. I mean with your face and your figure-"
Nayeon immediately realized the words that are now coming out of her mouth, eyes widening as she felt her heart race inside her chest.
She shot her head up, only to meet Momo's adoring gaze. "You knew me since middle school?"
Nayeon felt blood rush through her entire face, and if the lights were not a little dimmer than usual, she was certain Momo would've noticed it in an instant. Clearing her throat, she forcefully choked out a response.
"Well, sure. I mean, who wouldn't? You kinda have this charm that just makes you stand out from the rest so..."
Momo felt her smile tugging wider, almost ripping her face in half. Nayeon still couldn't look at her directly, so she decided to give the girl a break, choosing to turn the topic around instead of making her blush further in embarrassment.
"What are your plans for Christmas?"
Sighing in relief, Nayeon shrugged her shoulders as she regained the confidence in her voice once again.
"The usual. Christmas shopping a day before Christmas eve, probably take out my dog, Kookeu, for a walk the next the morning. Then in the afternoon, I'd help my mom prep the dishes for dinner. Usually she only trusts me with the cooking. She says dad would just end up ruining everything, maybe even burning the house down." She mumbled softly with a laugh before finally looking back up to find Momo listening to her intently, as if she's really invested in what the older girl was talking about.
It made Nayeon's heart warm.
Momo, on the other hand, smiled at her in return, chocolate eyes staying focused at the cheerleader's direction. "That's wonderful. Do you guys take guests over for Christmas dinner?"
The question immediately took Nayeon aback, heart suddenly racing again as if it's going to finally jump out of chest any second now.
Although, she managed to stutter out, "You wanna have dinner with my family?"
She watched Momo shrug her shoulders nonchalantly with a smile.
"If you would have me? I mean, they sound amazing."
"They are." Nayeon said, smiling back sweetly at the brunette before biting her lower lip bashfully. "I'm sure they'll love you."
The statement made Momo's smile widen as well. "If you want, you can have breakfast the next morning at my parents'. I'm sure they'd be glad to see I've finally brought a pretty girl home with me for Christmas, since it's usually just Sana." She offered, silently hoping for the girl to accept.
Nayeon, on the other hand, blushed furiously at the remark. Because what the fuck? Hirai Momo just said she's pretty.
Hirai Momo thinks Im Nayeon is pretty!
"Sana's pretty too." The cheerleader said, eyes darting everywhere but a smiling Momo's direction, which effectively earned a chuckle from the latter.
"You know what I mean, Nayeon."
Biting her lip, Nayeon decided to take courage to look up and meet the brunette's adoring gaze. Raising an eyebrow playfully, she let out, this time in a more confident teasing tone.
"Hirai Momo, is that your way of asking me out on a date?"
Momo grinned, biting the tip of her tongue lightly as she mirrored the other girl's expression. "No. Just casual meals with our families- as friends."
Nayeon rolled her eyes at the statement before focusing back to Momo. "Let's play a game."
"We're already playing one."
"Well, technically, we're just talking. And that isn't really supposed to be the meaning of heaven in 'seven minutes in heaven', you know?" Nayeon retorted, causing the brunette to chuckle. "Besides, we only got like less than two minutes left."
Shrugging her shoulders, Momo, then, responded with a grin. "Alright. What do we play?"
"Truth or dare." Nayeon said, causing the brunette to let out another amused snicker.
"That's a new one."
"Shut up." The cheerleader rolled her eyes, yet smiling right after, nonetheless. "Now, let's mix things up a little bit. When someone chooses truth, the other will be asking a question, and she has to answer truthfully. However, if we can't think of a question, the one who was supposed to answer has to spill a fact that the other doesn't know about her yet, instead. "
Momo nodded. "Alright. I'll start." She said, grinning excitedly at the older girl. "Truth."
"Do you have an eye for somebody these days?"
The brunette had to think for a second. "Well, I didn't before today. But I'm not really sure, yet." She answered, earning a nod from Nayeon across from her. "Do you?"
Nayeon smiled. "That's gonna have to wait until I choose truth." She playfully retorted, causing Momo to laugh. "Dare."
"I dare you to tell me if you have an eye for somebody these days."
The remark had the cheerleader rolling her eyes. "Okay, Einstein." Nayeon said sarcastically, making Momo snicker in her spot. "I do. For a while now, actually."
Momo had to ignore the weird tugging inside her chest as she watched the way Nayeon's eyes focused directly at her when she let her answer out. Smiling gently, the brunette mumbled. "Truth."
"I have no question."
"I think you're the prettiest girl in our school." Momo let out in the softest voice, tone genuine, successfully making Nayeon's heart beat a thousand times faster inside her chest. "That one counts, right?"
Nayeon rolled her eyes playfully in hopes to hide the furious blush on her face. "That is such a cliche star player line." She retorted, making Momo chuckle. "Truth."
"Do you think I'm pretty too?" The brunette asked with a playful grin, chocolate orbs focused on Nayeon's sparkling hazelnut ones.
Swallowing a lump in her throat, the cheerleader just smiled bashfully. "I've always been sure you are."
The shy answer made Momo grin even wider. "You got a crush on me!" She playfully teased, earning a chuckle from the older girl who only smacked her arm playfully in return. "Dare."
Now Momo didn't expect the shade of hazel in Nayeon's eyes to darken a little, strong gaze not leaving hers as she let out in a deeper tone. "Make it sound like we're doing something in here."
The brunette, though a little taken aback, couldn't deny how hot those words just sounded when they reeked out of Nayeon's cherry lips.
Biting her own, Momo nodded lightly before closing her eyes and hitting her head hard against the side of the closet she's currently leaning against, a deep, sexy groan following suit as she yelled out loud in a satisfied moan, "Oh, fuck! Nayeon!"
The gesture earned a loud series of hollers from the people outside, and a light gasp from Nayeon standing still across from her. The latter's eyes were wide, mouth slightly parted as she stared at Momo in shock.
She didn't expect that the brunette would actually do it. And the way her name sounded when Hirai Momo moaned it out loud, Nayeon thought she was going to pass out.
Subtly shutting her legs tight, Nayeon was glad she still managed to breathe out, "Dare," And this time, it's her turn to be taken aback.
Mainly because of the way a smug smirk slowly made its way towards Momo's lips, and the words that rolled off her tongue next.
"Take your top off and do the same."
That definitely turned Nayeon on. Hazel eyes darkening even more, she immediately removed her sheer-ruched blouse, leaving her only in her black tube top and wide leg denim jeans.
The sight alone already had Momo's mouth gaped, but when Nayeon hit the side of the wooden closet against her back with her palm, followed by a sexy gasp and a submissive whimper, Momo had try her best to stop herself from actually making the girl cry her name out in pleasure.
"Oh yes, Momo! Right there! Don't stop!" Nayeon yelled almost breathlessly, earning another series of hysterical cheering from the people outside.
Nayeon glanced at the brunette, watching the way Momo ravenously eyed her body up and down, much to her delight.
Momo, on the other hand, was left speechless. Because man, this girl can act.
(What more if she screams out it for real?)
Taking a deep breath, Momo had to shake her head a little as she forcefully choked out, "Truth."
Nayeon stared at her just as hungrily, cherry lips tugging to her eyes as she watched the way Momo struggled to keep herself composed in her spot.
"I have no question."
The cheerleader was surprised when Momo suddenly took a few steps towards her, eyes still travelling down exposed milky skin, before reaching to her eyes, meeting her expectant gaze. "What you just did- I think it was so hot, it actually made me feel things."
Nayeon had to smirk smugly at the remark. "Truth."
"Who do you have an eye for, Im Nayeon?" Momo asked in the subtlest growl, voice even huskier than the usual, and Nayeon thought it was going to be the death of her.
Letting her own hazelnut eyes travel down Momo's lips, the cheerleader mumbled in response, "I think, by now, you already know."
Momo wasn't satisfied with Nayeon's retort. However, she decided not to push. Instead, tugging her lips up into a lopsided grin as she took another step closer to the older girl.
"Dare."
"Make that Christmas family dinner and breakfast an official date."
The brunette didn't expect Nayeon's statement. Nonetheless, it caused the butterflies to go wild inside her stomach as she sent the older girl a sweet, genuine smile. "Done."
Now it was Nayeon's turn again, taking a deep breath before she lets out. "Truth."
"I have no questions."
"I broke up with my boyfriend in sophomore year when I realized I was into you."
The confession caused Momo to blush, yet the confident, lopsided smirk never left her lips. "So, it's me."
"I thought you were smart enough to figure that out by now." Nayeon retorted, a playful smile making its way towards her lips as well.
Momo, then, let out a soft chuckle before taking another step, now completely pinning the cheerleader against the wooden side of the giant walk-in closet. "Dare."
"Kiss me."
Momo didn't need to be told twice.
"Anddddd, time's up!" They both heard Sana's voice echoing from outside the small space, the same time she opened the door of the walk-in closet, revealing the two aggressively locking lips with each other, with Nayeon's see-through top on the floor, long forgotten.
It earned another thunderous cheer from the crowd gathered around them.
/
Momo pulled up in front of Nayeon's house. It was already 3 in the morning, and the brunette insisted to take the girl home, instead, since she drove up with Jihyo to the party, and the doe-eyed girl decided to spend the night at her girlfriend's place.
Nayeon shifted a little to face the brunette, who's now staring at her with a gentle smile on her face. It made her heart beat out of control.
"What?" Nayeon questioned, chuckling lightly as Momo continued to eye her fondly.
Momo shrugged. "You're too pretty, I can't handle it."
The cheesy statement didn't fail to make the older girl blush. Rolling her eyes at the laughing brunette, Nayeon, hit her arm before biting her lip to stop herself from smiling as well.
"You know, we still have to put a decent ending to that game." Nayeon said, causing Momo to raise an eyebrow, the lopsided grin never leaving her face as she nodded.
"Okay. Your turn, right?"
Smiling a little, Nayeon mumbled, "Truth."
"No question." Momo responded with a shrug.
Leaning in, Nayeon placed a gentle kiss over to Momo's lips, letting it linger for a few more seconds before pulling away with a dreamy smile. "I purposely picked out your name in that fishbowl."
Momo chuckled, wondering how the cheerleader managed to do that. At the same time, Nayeon seemed to be really shocked when they met gazes that time, the brunette thought that was for real as well.
This girl really can act.
"That was very impressive." Momo responded, earning a chuckle from Nayeon, whose arms are now draped over the brunette's shoulders carelessly. "Truth."
"I have no question, too."
"I've changed my mind about high school parties." Momo mumbled against Nayeon's lips, earning another fit of giggles from the girl latching onto her. Widening her grin, Momo let her eyes travel down the cheerleader's swollen cherry lips once again before dragging them back up to her dreamy hazelnut eyes Momo thought she could stare at forever. "But I'd only like those with you in it."
