Spread 1 description:
panel 1: a crescent moon hangs in the night sky above the red stone exterior of the Van Zieks family’s Berlint apartment building.

Panel 3: Overhead view of Phoenix who is sprawled out like a starfish asleep in bed. He is wearing blue pyjamas and a blue sleep hat with yellow stars and a yellow pom-pom on the tip. His mouth is hanging open.
Panel 4: Overhead view of Ryuunosuke asleep in bed he is wearing a sage green tee shirt and sleeps on his side.
Panel 5: Wide view of Barok asleep in his bed. He is sleeping on his stomach with his arms wrapped around his pillow. He is shirtless. A sound effect WORSHT (the sound of the power cutting out in the apartment) displays on the panel. An inset image shows a close up of the digital alarm clock split diagonally with one half showing the red time read out and the other blacked and text *blink* to show the loss of power. The time is 1:58 am.
Panel 6, 7, 8: three panels across the top of the second page in the spread shows a different digital clock in the act of blinking the time showing that the time reset itself then the power came back on. The time reads 5:47 am. It is red in panels 6 and 8 and dark in panel 7.
Panel 9: The digital clock is in the foreground of the image, on the bedside table. Ryunosuke’s hand is reaching out to grab the clock. On his arm he is wearing a wristwatch. In the background is Ryuunosuke lying in bed, still half asleep.
Panel 10: A tired Ryunosuke is sitting in bed, wrapped up in the bedding, looking at the alarm clock with a confused look.
Panel 11: Ryuunosuke slaps his cheeks to wake himself up.
Panel 12: Ryuunosuke’s POV of his wristwatch on his own arm.
Panel 13: extreme close up for Ryuu’s eyes, now wide open. A Speech bubble shows a large exclamation point!
Panel 14: a close up of Ryuu’s face. A shouting speech bubble exclaims ‘We’re Late!’
Spread 2 description:
Panel 1: an extreme closeup of about 3/4 of Ryuu’s face. He is nervously biting his lip. His thought bubble reads ‘What if he sleeps naked?!?’
Panel 2: 3/4 shot of Ryuunosuke from behind standing in front of Barok’s closed bedroom door. He is clad in the sage green tee shirt and a pair of blue striped boxer shorts. He thinks to himself ‘This is ridiculous! Don’t be a chicken Ryuunosuke!’ Sound effect knock knock is shown on the door.
Panel 3: Ryuu is peaking around the bedroom door that he has opened. Speech bubbles say ‘Barok?’, ‘Wake up Barok’, ‘Our alarms didn’t go off this morning.’
Panel 4: Wide shot of Barok sitting up in bed. He is bare-chested. You can just make out the waistband of his green pyjama pants above the blankets on his lap. A thought bubble above him says ‘He looks adorable all sleep-rumpled.’ Out loud he says ‘There must have been a power outage over night.’
Panel 5: Ryuu’s body posture indicates shock, there are shocked lines behind him. He is blushing. There is a large exclamation of GAH! His thought bubble reads ‘Don’t tell me he actually does!’ (He has only noticed Barok’s chest)
Panel 6: Ryuu is standing with his hand grabbing the back of his head while he looks sheepish and blushes. (This is Barok’s POV of him in his sleepwear of boxer shorts and tee shirt.) He says ‘It’s 8:20’
Panel 7: Barok is sitting on his bed starting to get up. He is now also blushing at the view of Ryuu in his boxer shorts and thinking ‘Where did that thought come from?’ His brain then catches up with what Ryuu just said and he shouts ‘Wait! What?!’
Panel 8: at the top of the second page of the spread the panel is a black triangle with white motion lines from the centre is Barok jumping up panicked with blue distress lines on his face with words screaming ‘We’re Late!’
Panel 9: Shoulder shot of Ryuunosuke. He finally notices Barok is not naked. He thinks ‘Phew! Pyjamas!’ He says ‘I’ll just get you a shirt.’
Panel 10: Across the way Barok who is looking in the opposite direction from Ryuu says ‘We have to wake Phoenix up. He can’t afford to get another bolt.”
Panel 11: on opposite sides of the panel Barok and Ryuu spin around and jump into action to do the thing they were just talking about doing without looking to see where the other is. Motion lines show them moving toward the middle of the panel where there is a collision flash with the sound effect OOF.
Panel 12: In the center of the frame Barok and Ryuu, who have crashed into each other are standing with Ryuu’s shocked and blushing face pressed up against Barok’s bare chest and their arms around each other to prevent from tipping over. Barok is also blushing. There is a speech bubble above Ryuu that just shows a processing spinner. There is also a thought bubble that says ‘Get ahold of yourself Ryuu, you don’t have time to ogle his scars!’ Below this text shows his thoughts doing just that they say ‘knife, knife, gun, shrapnel… spoon? ‘ On Barok’s side a thought bubble just shows three giant exclamation points. His speech bubble says ‘Oops! Pray, forgive the discourtesy.’ Sound effects reading b-bmp appear on both of their backs.
Spread 3 description:
panel 1: Barok and Ryuu spring away from each other, there are white motion lines on the background. There is an exclamation mark in between them. Barok says ‘C-can you get Phoenix up while I get decent?’ Ryuu responds ‘Y-yes! Of course! I should call and let work and Themis know we’re running late too.’
panel 2: Ryu making that guh face he makes. He thinks ‘Well, I’m fully awake now.’
panel 3: Overheard shot of Phoenix still sprawled out dead asleep. He is drooling. A dream bubble trail drifts up into …
Panel 4: Phoenix’s dream of some random scene of a man wearing one of those raccoon black face masks that just go around your eyes. He is wearing a samurai styled trench coat, holding a samurai sword in one hand and a pistol in the other. Behind this man are two other people being actiony There is a woman with purple hair jumping over a railing pointing a gun at a man who is jumping while pointing a gun at the samurai and about to throw a stick of dynamite. It is all very busy and actiony. This is a scene from his favourite tv show the Samurai Spy.
Panel 5: A speech bubble of an out of frame Ryuunosuke saying ‘Phoenix, it’s time to wake up’ Phoenix, still asleep, mumbles ‘nigh… watch out for that bomb Tonospyman … snore’
