Summary:
8th year Harry and Draco struggling with societal expectations and what that means for their budding romance. Draco seems reluctant to chain Harry to his fate, but Harry is determined to show him that he doesn't care about what others have to say about their feelings.
An animated music video set to the first verse (and chorus) of the song Rewrite the Stars from the musical The Greatest Showman.
Notes:
This was an enormous labor of love that I couldn't have done without the support of some very special people. A big thank you to Hajin for being my pose model, especially when clothing folds and hands did not want to cooperate. Thank you to Amai for being my cheerleader and helping me pick what clothes to stuff my barbie dolls into. Thank you to the Wireless mods for allowing me an extension when my computer decided it wanted to eat my wip files (and thank you to the computer repairman who got me set up with new parts so I could start over). Content warning: There is brief noose imagery at 0:16 through 0:23. The noose is a metaphor for society's expectations of Draco, and the rest of the imagery during this brief clip is also highly hyperbolic and is a caricature of vintage tarot cards.
