Lucky guy woke up in an unfamiliar room. He moved to sit at the bed just when he felt something heavy was wrapped around his wrist. He lifted his hand to reveal a metal bracelet. Just then his eyes wandered around the unfamiliar room. There he saw two small tables on each side of his bed. Each table has a lamp on top of it. On his right he saw a comfy chair next to the table beside his bed. After that he saw an old television on top of another table. His bed is facing an old dusty wooden dresser.
Lucky Guy stood up from his bed. When his feet touched the floor he felt something hard and almost fuzzy. He took a look and saw an old carpet that seemed to have red blobs that looked like something had spilled. Lucky Guy was confused-where is he? How did he end up there?
He walks around his room trying to explore and see if there are clues inside his room but to no avail he found nothing. He then walked towards his door where he was shocked to see that the door had no doorknob and no lock.
Confused, he leaves the room trying to find the way out. While walking through the corridors he accidentally stumbled upon the lobby where he was relieved to see many men. Some of the men seem calm and collected, some are anxious while others are confused just like him. Lucky Guy walks to a man that has tied up brown hair and wore an olive green cloak. He tap the man's shoulder and started to bombard him with questions.
"Mister, do you know where we are? And why are we here?" The man stared at Lucky Guy at first before opening his mouth to answer. "We're at the Oletus Manor, we're gonna find out soon enough why we are here." Lucky Guy frowned by the man's vague answer to his second question" He tapped the man's shoulder again. "What do you mean?"
Before the man could answer Lucky Guy's question a large screen was shown and everyone's attention went to the large screen.
"Welcome Players to the Oletus Manor! All of you are hereby invited to play the Werewolf Game. Once a player wins this game they shall be granted a wish whereas they can wish for whatever prize they desire" The whole room starts to get loud by the mumbles and whispers of everyone. "This is kind of tempting" Lucky Guy whispers to himself while staring at the screen. Whatever prize you desire… Money, fame, honor, maybe even something bigger and better than that!
Just then the letter on the screen changed "The Werewolf Game is a competition until 3 or less survive. Each player shall be assigned to one role. The roles shall be shown at their personal tv screen inside their room."
"The game is as follows in the first day the players shall be assigned with a role-
The Werewolves - this role gives the player the freedom to get out of their room at night and kill 1 player that they wish to kill.
The Seer - the player that has this role can pick 1 player and see their role during the night.
The Bodyguard - The player that gets this role can protect 1 player each night.
The Medium - When the night has finished and the werewolves have already killed a player then the medium can see whether the deceased role is a werewolf or not.
The Fox - This role is the trump card and also the most dangerous role. The fox is neither a Villager nor a Werewolf but a target of both, and they can only win if they become the last remaining survivor in the game. If at any time they are detected by the seer, they will be eliminated by electrocution.
The Villagers - this role can be given to many players whereas their only role is to seek the Werewolves and eliminate them. A Villager does not have any special Abilities."
The screen changed again and this time it showed the word 'Rules'. "There are 12 rules that every player must follow:
1. You cannot show your presented tv role however they can guess your role and during the discussion you may/may not reveal your role to other people.
2. The survivor must stay at their room from 10 pm till 6 am and the werewolves are the only ones permitted to leave their rooms and kill a survivor.
3. Do not leave the premises during the game.
4. If the werewolves pick a target, the target must not resist and hurt the werewolves.
5. The discussion will be held at 8am and will end at 9am. If the players did not select any players then they will all get a shock.
6. They cannot pick themselves and they must pick someone else.
7. The medium can pick a player and see their role on the tv screen after the night has ended.
8. The bodyguard can pick a player on the tv screen before the night starts, however the bodyguard cannot protect themselves; they can only protect the player that they chose to save.
9. The seer can pick a player to see their role during the night on the tv screen.
10. The player must wear the metal bracelet during the game and they must not tamper nor try to destroy the metal bracelet.
11. If any of the rules are violated the player/s will get shocked.
12. DON'T TRUST ANYONE."
Once the Roles and Rules had been announced the screen suddenly changed and this time it was only one sentence shown. "Who will triumph in the end?" After that the screen went black. Lucky Guy gave a glance at the reactions of other people but their reactions seem to be weirdly calm. How can they be calm even after knowing that they can be electrocuted any minute now?
One man stood on top of a chair and clapped his hands loudly, getting the attention of everyone."Everyone! Before anything else, my name is Orpheus and I am one of the players in this room! I wish to ask all of you to introduce yourselves so that we can all get to know one another." All of the men had fallen into silence and everyone started to stare at one another waiting on who would go to introduce themselves next.
Lucky Guy took a deep breath and walked near the center. "My name is Lucky Guy" Orpheus smiled and came down from the chair and walked towards Lucky Guy. He extended his hand for a handshake which Lucky Guy gladly shook. "Nice to meet you Lucky Guy" After that many men followed and introduced themselves.
"My name is William Ellis!"
"Norton Campbell here"
"Pleasure to meet all of you my name is Luca Balsa, please refer to me as Luca"
"Mike morton is my name hehe"
"Naib, Naib Subedar"
"I-I'm E-emil, but my ada calls me emil so you can call me emil"
"Eli Clark."
"In the Name of the almighty, my name is Andrew Kreiss, Bless you all by the almighty Lord."
The room fell silent again as everyone stared at the two remaining people who had not yet introduced themselves. The gray haired man sighs and shows everyone his annoyed face. "Aesop Carl" The man stated as he turned his back and left the lobby. What's up with that man Aesop?
After the man left, the other remaining man walked towards Orpheus with a written note and gave it to Orpheus. After that he followed the man named Aesop out of the lobby.
Orpheus looked at everyone and announced the name that was written on the note. "Victor Grantz."
"Well then since all of us have already introduced ourselves, please feel free to go back to your room and see your roles! Let's all work together and win this game!"
Everybody came back to their room. Lucky Guy hurriedly went to his room and close his door. Just then the screen from the old television lit up and information of his role was shown.
"Your Role is WEREWOLF.
The Werewolves - this role gives the player the freedom to get out of their room at night and kill 1 player that they wish to kill.
Note: In this Game there are 3 Werewolves, 1 Seer, 1 BodyGuard, 1 Fox, 1 Medium, and 5 Villagers- in total there are 12 players."
Lucky Guy was shocked at the major role that he was given to play. Werewolf! He has to kill to win! How can that be? He needs to be a murderer to win how can he kill the innocent people in this game? This game is too cruel! Lucky Guy had thought if he did not leave his room then he wouldn't kill anyone. He thought that maybe he could win without having his hands covered with the blood of the innocents.
Time had passed and the Television screen changed-the letters of "Free time" had shown. Lucky Guy took a deep breath and looked at the clock that hang on the left side of his room.
6:00 pm
Lucky Guy stood up from sitting on his bed and decided to walk around the Manor. He wandered the corridors until he stumbled upon the lobby again where he saw everyone gathering. The man named Orpheus seemed to be leading the players. Orpheus, who has the attention of everybody in the room, starts to ask a question."Who is the Seer?"
Four men raised their hands. It was Eli, Emil, Andrew, and lastly William.
"These four people who claim to be the Seer are suspicious!" Orpheus declared. However one of the men named William stated otherwise. "I declared that Orpheus IS suspicious! Everyone, listen! Why did Orpheus ask us who is the Seer unless HE is one of the werewolves."
Some men reluctantly agreed with Williams' statement while some were defending Orpheus. Others are quiet and seem to be observing the situation. 'Everythings a mess' Lucky Guy thought while watching the men argue and debate.
"If any of the four who claims to be the Seer and proven that he IS the Seer, I will protect them!" Said Naib proudly. "Hah! You won't fool us! Maybe instead of protecting you might be the one who will kill me!" Eli shouted.
After some time a loud bell had echoed on the four corners of the lobby. Everybody felt silent and all of them started to walk out of the lobby to get to their room as fast as they could. Confused by the sudden reaction of everybody, Lucky Guy did not get the chance to ask why there was a sudden sound of a bell nor why everyone started to react like that. Even though he was confused he left the lobby and went to his room.
Lucky Guy glanced at the clock and saw that it was 10 pm. Signaling the start of the Game. So that's why everyone reacted that way. The bell signals the start of the night. The First Night.
The Game has started and everyone is already in their own room. After a few minutes two Werewolves left their rooms and both of them went to the lobby where they met. It was Aesop and Norton.
"So you are the other werewolf huh?" Norton said but Aesop just stared at him. " lets wait for the other werewolf."
Three hours passed but the third werewolf did not reveal himself. The two werewolves start to talk. "We are just wasting time waiting for the other werewolf. Let's pick our target already." Said Norton impatiently. "Wait, who do we choose to kill?" this time Aesop finally spoke.
"What about Orpheus? He tried to lead us. He is suspicious. Because of him I almost died in our previous game." Norton suggested while picking up a knife that he saw on top of a table. It was not there at first but somehow three knives appeared and it seemed like it was for the werewolves to use.
"No, rather we should frame him." Aesop suggested while reaching for the second knife. "Then who? Lets pick random?" Ask Norton.
"What about naib then? He stated that he will protect the seer. He may not know who the real Seer is. If he is the true bodyguard he may be a hindrance to our target." Aesop said while staring at the sharp knife that he was holding. Norton, who was flabbergasted by the amount of words Aesop had said, cleared his throat "Wow that's actually a good idea. Is this not your first time?" Aesop gave Norton a glance before he left the lobby. "I was a werewolf in my first game." Norton smirked and followed Aesop "If so, then this will be easy money."
Norton and Aesop went to Naibs' room. All of the rooms do not have any locks nor door knobs that's why they got inside easily. Both of them saw Naib sitting on a chair- it seems that he predicted that the two were going to his room first and he was waiting for them. Before Naib could react Norton suddenly pounced on him and tried to stab him but was stopped by Aesop.
"Let's hear his final words first." Aesop said while letting go of Norton's wrist that was ready to stab Naib. "Why are you pretending to be nice? You were a werewolf in your last game." Aesop ignored Norton and stared silently at Naib who was already lying down on the floor. "So it was you two. I guess this is it. Being a werewolf in my previous game and claiming victory and now getting killed on the very first night. So this is what it feels like to get Karma." Aesop glanced at Norton and nodded his head signaling that he can kill Naib now but before Norton stabbed his knife, Naib blurted out his final words. "I hope the villagers win this time."
Norton stabbed Naib at his face and chest multiple times while Naib let out a painful scream. Once that the screams had fallen silent then Norton only stopped stabbing Naibs body. "That was easy." said Norton while wiping the blood from his face. Aesop lets out a sight and walks near Naibs dead body. His hands reach to Naibs lifeless open eyes and close them while giving his respects to the dead.
The next morning at 8 am the players had gathered in the lobby to discuss and vote. A man named William came forward. "Naib was the target, I saw his dead body in his room because my room is next to Naibs." William declared. The room starts to get loud as everyone starts to give their own opinions and questions. Everybody became suspicious of William. 'Maybe William is one of the Werewolves since he declared that Naibs dead' Lucky Guy thought while trying to observe the situation.
"How did you know?" Asked Luca while staring at William. "No I just discovered it, my room is across Naib's room. He was my bro because we were partners in our previous game."
"Wait, let's not jump into conclusions. It's true that williams room is across naibs room and what about the four seers they are possible suspects too."Orpheus said while trying to get everyone's attention.
''Don't pretend to be nice. Yesterday you even tried to lead us. Maybe you were the werewolf." This time Norton spoke while pointing his finger to Orpheus."Yeah, why are you trying so hard to lead us?" Luca agreed to Norton.
"It is also important for us to have a leader, maybe he is trying to help us." Now Emil, who was timid, had started to defend Orpheus.
"Norton, why are you trying to accuse me so badly? Are you trying to get revenge for our previous game?" Orpheus' forehead had creased while staring intently at Norton. "You are the reason why we almost got killed in our previous game!" This time Norton slowly started to burst with anger. Now Norton and Orpheus start to quarrel while the others are just observing while trying to not get in between their fight.
"WAIT! You two were together in a previous game?" This time everyone's attention turns to Mike."So far there have been four people revealed that are together in a previous game. Are you all in a group together? Is there any other people that are also in a group or are partners before?" Lucky Guy asked.
The room fell into a deafening silence. While in the corners of the lobby, Victor and Aesop just glanced at each other without saying a word. After a few minutes the silence were broken by a voice of the manor.
"5 minutes remaining"
"No, I don't have any partners." Said Eli. "me neither..." Andrew added.
"If so then let's vote! In a count of three, point to the player who you suspect is the werewolf.

"That's it! ORPHEUS IS THE WEREWOLF!" Norton declared as he smirked. Orpheus suddenly let out a horrifying painful scream that had echoed in the four corners of the lobby. Lucky Guy was frightened by the sight and tried to divert his gaze to everyone in the room but he was shocked to see their calm and collected reactions. 'This is real, I don't want this. I don't want anyone to die, I don't want to kill anybody and I don't wanna die. What should I do? Should I just stay quiet? Maybe it is for the best to not participate.'
Orpheus' horrifying scream starts to silently disappear and everybody in the room stares at the dead body. "One Werewolf down and two more to go. '' said Norton while kicking Orpheus' dead body on the floor. "Isn't it too cruel?" Lucky Guy asked while trying to avoid his gaze to the dead body. Norton went to Lucky Guy and pat Lucky Guy's shoulder. He then leans into Lucky Guy's ear and whispers "that's how you play this game." He patted Lucky Guy's shoulder and went to his original position while smirking with victory.
"Who's the medium? We should check who and what role the deceased have." Aesop asked and Norton raised his hand "I will check the monitor later about the role of Orpheus." Aesop just looked at Norton but he did not say anything.
"Does any Seer know what role does naib have?" Mike questioned while raising his hand to get everyone's attention."I checked naib's role during the night time because he revealed to me his role and I wanted to check. Naib is a villager." William stated.
"If you really are the seer then I guess." Emil said.
"Wait, what about the other seers? I checked Norton and he really is Medium." Norton smiled at Andrew's assumption while Aesop glanced at Norton.
"Wait, I checked Lucky Guy and saw that he is the real medium." Norton frowned at Eli's assumption and tried to defend Andrew's statement. "Andrew is right, I really am the medium. I can prove it to you guys tomorrow."
"So one of the two of you is lying" Mike pointed out. Silence engulfed the room as the others were brainstorming about whether or not to believe either Eli or Andrew.
"Wait, who is the bodyguard and who is he protecting? He should protect the real seer since the seer is the most important role." No one admitted about who is the bodyguard and no one answered Emil's questions.
The silence was broken by Victor's scribbles. Victor raised his hand to get everyone's attention and showed the question that he scribbled in a piece of paper. "What about the fox?"
"You're right, I almost forgot the fox. So we must find out first who is the fox before finding out the werewolves." Norton spoke.
Time passed and the discussion had already finished and everybody left the lobby and wandered around the premises. Lucky guy wandered around the manor and saw Emil sitting in a corner staring anxiously at the piece of metal that wrapped around his ring finger. He approaches Emil and asks him "are you alright?"
"No, I have someone who didn't enter the game with me. My Ada and I applied together but only I was the one who got accepted. What about my Ada? She is more qualified than me. I want my Ada. My precious Ada.'' Emil cried while Lucky guy stayed silent and patted Emil's back to give him comfort.
After a few minutes of crying, Emil suddenly stopped and stood up. He looked at Lucky Guy "Thank you, I will continue crying in my room." Lucky guy confusely nodded while watching the crying Emil go back to his room.
Lucky guy thought that it would be nice if he could take a walk and clear his mind from what's happening in his surroundings. While walking in the hallway a hand suddenly grab Lucky Guys arm.
"You're the medium right?"
"Who? What?" Lucky guy shockingly stared at Eli who was the one who grab his arm.
"You're the medium, ok? You're the medium, tell everyone you're the medium"
Lucky guy nodded frighteningly after that Eli slowly let go of his arm. 'I think I should agree because he might accuse me of being a werewolf.' Eli stared at Lucky guy for a few seconds after that he started to walk away from the scene while Lucky guy scaredly watched Eli's back. Lucky guy took a deep breath and started to walk to a place that he thought he might be alone.
On the other side of the manor, Andrew walks to a familiar garden where purple irises are planted. "Mom, I'm back in the game again. I think this is the punishment that God had bestowed upon me since I was too greedy in my last game."
"I think your Mum understands after all human nature is greedy. It's science." Andrew was startled at the sudden voice he heard. He turned around to see a man named Luca. "Jesus Christ! What are you doing here?!"
"While I was walking and saw you kneeling on the purple irises while frowning. So I thought I could comfort you." Luca said as he sat next to Andrew. "Why do you care?! Do you have any motive? Just so you know that wont work on me." Andrew glared at Luca. "I guess you don't need my comfort so I might as well leave."
Andrew opened his mouth and started to vent his story. "I was a fox in my previous game. I deceived everyone in the previous game that I was the seer and I was protected by everyone. I won." Andrew continued. "I betrayed everybody, I became someone who I hated the most."
"I also had to sacrifice a lot." Luca showed his arm where the metal bracelet is placed. In his arm there are signs of electrical burn. "I got this electrical burn because despite the rule of not tampering our metal bracelets I got curious and still tampered with it. I absolutely hate the fact that people use their intelligence to create this devices of torture but at the same time this devices are quite fascinating. Isnt it?"
Andrew looks at Luca as if Luca is crazy, how can he be curious at the very thing that can kill them but then again Andrew thought that he can trust Luca since Luca took the time to listen to his vents and tried to comfort him. "Luca, can you come closer, there is something I have to tell you." Luca came closer to Andrew.
"I'm the Medium."
Lucky guy is flabbergasted by the sudden information that he heard below the terrace. He was there ever since and saw the whole scene. He then thought that he should leave the terrace and collect his thoughts. While walking through the hallways he heard voices and thought that it might be another information that he could grab.
Lucky guy followed the source of the voices and saw a sitting room where a door is slightly open. He came near the sitting room and pressed his ear against the wall to eavesdrop the conversation. "Maybe we should target the fox first." Said a familiar voice but Lucky guy could not distinguish whose voice it belongs to because it's too quiet. "Maybe the fox is William. Think of it, William saw Naibs dead body and he also claims to be the seer." This voice seems to belong to Norton. A moment of silence passed before the voice spoke again. "Alright, tonight let's target William."
Lucky guy was so shocked that he couldn't focus on their conversation anymore. 'If it's true William is going to be the next target then I should warn him very soon, but if Norton is one of the werewolves then who is the third werewolf talking with him inside in the sitting room?'
As if on cue, Lucky guy heard footsteps coming towards him. He saw Victor, they stare at each for a moment then suddenly Victor anxiously looks down and walks away at a faster pace.
"Victor? Is Victor one of the werewolves?" Lucky guy stared at Victor's back while trying to comprehend the sudden information. 'If Victor is one of the werewolves then I must tell everyone!-wait i don't have evidence- if i tell them then they must be suspicious of me. What should I do? First I should warn William.'
Lucky guy ran throughout the hallways, anxiously trying to find William. Just then he heard a loud obnoxious voice. He turned around to see the very man he was looking for. He hid himself first from the sight of William when he saw that William was with someone. It was Mike. Mike secretly gave William something and it seemed like William was delighted by the gift that Mike had given him.
When Mike had already left, Lucky Guy went to William. "Hey William, the Werewolves, I heard that the Werewolves are targeting you tonight." William chuckled and patted lucky Guys shoulder. "Thanks for telling me but I got it covered already." William wink at Lucky Guy and gleefully walk towards his room. Lucky Guy who is still concerned about Williams safety tried to follow him but then he was stopped by Mike's Voice.
"Oh don't worry about him. Like he said he got it covered."
Lucky Guy turned around to see Mike Morton smiling at him like the bright sunshine he is. "B-but he might get killed." Suddenly the atmosphere around Mike became dim but when Lucky Guy looked at him- he was still smiling. "You know Lucky Guy, I can reassure you that William wont get killed tonight because I gave him this." Mike showed Lucky Guy a rainbow ball. Lucky Guy looked at Mike with confusion.
Mike walks towards Lucky Guy while holding the ball that seems to be dangerous. He continued to walk around Lucky Guy then he stopped behind him."This ball can help you defend yourself during the night. Just throw this ball and boom! You survive the night." Mike handed the rainbow ball to Lucky Guy from behind him. He then leaned onto Lucky Guy's ear and whispered. "Without this you cannot survive the night. Just throw this to the Werewolves, Lucky Guy."
Mike walked in front of Lucky Guy and gave him a meaningful smile. He then turned around and left Lucky Guy in the hallways. Lucky Guy has mixed emotions because of the sudden surge of information he had obtained throughout the morning. He then starts to walk towards his room to prepare for the next night.
