When a letter arrives at Ava Kline's doorstep, she's thrown into the world of the Library. There she meets Flynn Carson, the current Librarian; his Guardian Eve Baird; and the trio of Cassandra Cillian, an expert in physics, science, and math; Ezekiel Jones, a master thief; and a blue-eyed Oklahoma boy with a knack for art, architecture, and literature named Jacob Stone.
As she discovers, she's the trio's Guardian. And as it turns out with this group, protecting them is easier said than done.
