"You're having a tea party, Miss Barton," Tony said, "and you didn't invite me."
Pippa held her arms out to her Uncle Tony and when he leaned over she patted his cheeks on both sides. "I sorry, Uncle Tony."
"You don't have to be sorry," Tony said, kissing Pippa on the top of the head. "You have a pretty China cup,"
"We went to the flea market," Pippa said. "I like the little cups."
"It doesn't look like you have tea in them, though," Tony said.
"Clint made his famous homemade Hot Cocoa," Natasha said.
"How does a guy get hooked-up with a cup of that?" Tony asked.
"I'll get you a cup," Clint said, coming through the kitchen.
"I know Uncle Bruce is doing science and Uncle Steeb went running, but where are Poppy and Aunt Pepper?" Pippa asked.
"Good question," Tony said.
"What's the answer?" Pippa asked.
"I got nothing," Tony said. "Legolas, where's your other half?"
"One could ask that about your other half," Clint said.
"I don't know," Tony said. "All she said when she left was that I wouldn't be interested."
Clint laughed. "That's probably about right."
Pippa frowned and asked, "but where did Poppy go?"
"Your Poppy and your Aunt Pepper went to some sort of meeting" Clint said. "Your Poppy wasn't specific."
"What's spiffic?" Pippa asked.
"Exact," Natasha said.
"Why wasn't Poppy zact?" Pippa asked.
"You ask a lot of questions," Natasha said.
"It's how you learn stuff,' Tony said.
"What Uncle Tony said," Pippa said, nodding her head sagely.
Smiling at Pippa, Natasha asked Clint, 'Are the rest of us going to get a second cup?"
"Yes, ma'am," Clint said.
