Work Text:
Hiromasa's nurse once told him a story:
An evil fox took the form of a beautiful woman and seduced many men. Eventually, she married one. Thankfully, she was discovered before she bore any children and was chased back into the woods from whence she came.
Hiromasa thanked her afterward. But in truth, he didn't like it; he felt sorry for the woman. Nothing she had done seemed so evil, so why shouldn't she have her husband? Why shouldn't she be able to live with humans just because she was a fox?
He would never chase away a fox-wife, he decided.
