Sunoo just wants peace
From his father,who only remembers he had a son when he needed something
And finally,well in a way he got his peace from him when he got a call from his dad,but the voice speaking was someone unknown
"Hi Are you Kim Sunoo?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm very sorry but your dad was in an accident and died"
Yeah,peace for his dad,but this isn't exactly the peace he wants
His dad had never loved him,well he might sometimes ago but not one
His mom died very young and his dad was,to be blunt,a good for nothing dumbass with way too much money
He married a young lady who was surprisingly nice,Sunoo in a certain way kinda like her
He expect her to be a gold digger but she wasn't anything he thought she would be
She was kind,pretty,well learned and polite,he sometimes wondered if his dad sold his own soul to get her and would sometime beg the girl to leave his dad for someone she deserves
But she would simply say "your dad is the most amazing man I've ever met"
'Did you live inside a rock or something?' he would wonder but never said anything because he has no rights
He hated his dad but he never wish for him to die,his stepmother died too that night
So,he got his 'peace' from his dad but as if a way of paying for his wish,the universe hand him a different problem
His dad's 1 year old baby boy
With no one to take care of him or look after him,he felt sympathy for the child so he decided to take him as his own
He held the baby in his arm "good thing you take after your mom" he whispered as a tear fell on top of the baby's head
A 19 year old taking care of a baby?yes it was not the best idea but fortunately,or not,Sunoo has people in his life
6 dumbass with nothing to do,as he likes to say
6 dumbass who are more than willing to become the baby's 'daddy'
"Sunoo-hung will be the mommy and I'll be the daddy!"he stares longingly at the baby that was taken from him by Heeseung because ,apparently,throwing the baby on air and catching him is 'dangerous'
"You ARE a baby yourself Ni-ki,you can't be the daddy, I'll be it"Jay was quick to volunteer but was quickly shut down by Jungwon saying "Heeseung-hyung give me the baby,he obviously wants me as his daddy"
"It's just his first time seeing a red haired feline so he's just amazed"Jake was also quick to shut him down,Jungwon glared at him "WANNA SAY THAT AGAIN YOU SHORT PUPPY?!"
"YOU'RE LITERALLY THE SAME HEIGHT AS ME YOU PUSSYCAT!!"
Sunoo,the mommy, felt headache literally running his way and was embarassed with the current topic breaks them up "There'll be no daddy!" He yells hiding his reddened cheeks
"Wow look at your mommy depriving you of a father figure, I'm sorry your mommy doesn't love you"Jay says holding the baby's cheek dramatically sobbing
"I'M NOT THE MOMMY!"Sunoo yells
But among the commotion,they heard a giggle
The room suddenly became silent as they all look toward the sound
Only to find the baby holding a finger of a very confused and flustered Sunghoon,the baby was giggling non-stop
Sunghoon kept asking the baby to let go softly, afraid to scare him,the situation making him feel so embarassed
But the baby never let go,instead grabbing harder and harder
Sunoo went toward the baby who was currently held by Heeseung to help Sunghoon get off
But at the moment,loud and as clear as a baby could speak,he said his first word looking toward Sunghoon
"Dada~"
Ni-ki felt his heart torn to pieces,in fact,they all could hear hearts being torn to pieces
And as if the world is being overthrown into chaos
Sunoo's headache arrived
"HE'S NOT HE'S NOT HE'S NOT" Ni-ki cried glaring at Sunghoon
"HOW DARE YOU CORRUPT HIM PARK SUNGHOON?!?!" Jay look like he's gonna choke Sunghoon
"Noo you don't want him,he's an ice cold ape who eats babies"Jungwon tries
All of them tries to manipulate the baby's preference as if he understood anything they said
And soon the baby cried,hard
"All of you stop you're scaring the baby" Sunoo yells at them and they completely stops
"Come here,baby, it's fine it's fine" Sunoo cooed as he took the baby from Heeseung who just stood speechless about everything that happened,poor boy just finds out his friends are weirder than he thought
The baby doesn't stop crying,he cried harder and harder,and with his cries he calls "Dada,dada,dada"
Sunoo doesn't know what to do "I'm your dada,baby" he tries but the baby doesn't take it
He reach toward Sunghoon,voice hoarse from crying "da-da..d-da da" he sobbed,the whole sight is very sad, especially since Sunghoon seems to be mentally in outer space and the baby kept begging for him
It went on for a minute until Heeseung can't take it anymore "FOR FUCK SAKE PARK SUNGHOON GET THE BABY BEFORE I CHOKE YOU" he yells
All eyes on him as he apologized swiftly for cursing in front of the baby
But his action seems to work as Sunghoon blinked,once,twice
Hands raised slowly and slowly,unsure about what to do
"Just take him, it's fine" Sunoo whispered softly,telling Sunghoon what to do
Sunghoon has never held a baby,he just doesn't, it's not like he hates baby,but he's definitely scared of them "b-but,what if i drop him?"
Sunoo says it's fine but his smile says "if you drop him, I'll drop you from the rooftop"
Sunghoon gulps, preparing himself for what's about to happen
He holds the baby on he's waist,not too hard to not hurt it
He holds him with so much cautious,as if it's an irreplaceable treasure
"Maybe not like a football?"Sunoo instruct,so he take the hiccuping baby in his arms,his face on his chest,rocking himself gently and saying to it what he heard Sunoo says all the time
"I-it's fine b-baby, everything's okay" He mumbled softly
He was growing red from the silence but suddenly the baby giggled again,he felt his breath hitched but not in a bad way
He gently move the baby so he could look at him clearly,and when he saw those cute eyes and a pair of tooth in front of him,smiling at him
He felt something warmed his heart
It makes him want to cry,to hold the baby and never let go
"You want me as your dada?"
The baby giggled more,Sunghoon smiled at him "then I'll be your dada"
The group just stared at the heartwarming scene,unable to calm their own heart "y-you choose the best dada" they cried
Jay even cried a bit though no one noticed
However there's one person who can't help but feel his heart break
Heeseung noticed it and gently went to rub Sunoo's back "don't worry, you're also his dada"
"B-but..."Sunoo choked up,just like that Sunghoon took his spot as the baby's dad and it hurts him, surprisingly
But the baby looks at him,making grabby hands toward him and in a fit of giggle,he said his second word
"Mama~"
Initially Sunoo wants to be the daddy too but now that the baby is calling him mama,he without missing even a second,ran to him, hugging the baby and Sunghoon
"Yes, yes I'm your mama,my baby" he kisses the baby's cheeks,forehead,ears and nose
"No kisses for daddy" Sunghoon pouts, jokingly of course
But Sunoo tiptoed to kiss his cheeks "Is that enough?ok" then he took the baby away leaving Sunghoon frozen in his spot
"I'm kinda hungry,should we order?" Sunoo says with the baby in his arms,heading toward the kitchen
"Yeah i could eat a whole cow right now, I'm starving"
Sunghoon heard as the group left him in his place,frozen and shocked
He was joking but Sunoo really did kiss him,on the cheeks,but kiss him nonetheless
And with a new title 'dada' and steam coming out from his ears
he left to explore outer space mentally again
