I chose to paint some of your Purple Kiss girls, because a) my favorite color is purple 2) they looked so fun in your photo primer. I also haven't painted girls before, so I was excited to try, but then I chickened out on trying to figure out feminine curves and just. Put them in drapey robes 😅 With their arms obscuring their chests, even. But hey, this way I can say I'm osmos-ing TWO of your fandoms!

For the longest time I referred to MDZS as "that zombie gardener thing" because I am from the American Midwest and therefore, without context, 'cultivation' makes me think of agriculture. If you're a demonic cultivator, you obviously grow zombies or something, right?
I have since learned that's not the case, that some of the pretty people fight demons and some, like... use? Demons? Are demonic? IDK. I've really only seen fanart, and read some crossover fanfic, so even though I've painted some of the outfits before I still have... no idea. But I know they use glowy circles on the ground, and in my search for images of Dosie and Chaein together I came across a glowy-circle Purple Kiss logo, and that's enough of a connection for me.

So here we have Dosie, clearly the demonic one with the half-bleached hair, right? I think she's actually wearing the non-demonic character's outfit but I think the colors look better on her so I called an artistic audible. Anyway, our cute DemonicDosie has grown a little demon! Plucked it right up out of the ground when it was ripe. It's a shark-rabbit, because in my search to see if Chaein is related to Itzy's Chaeryeong (her family name is Lee, too, so I wondered if she had a second sister in showbiz) I discovered that the Purple Kiss girls have signature emojis, and Dosie's is a shark, Chaein's is a bunny. I have a vague notion of MDZS demons having extra body parts, so voila!

Maybe DemonicDosie tried to grow something super mean, but she kept thinking of a certain bunny-like somebody, and that's why it's a shar-bet. Chaein looks mischievous with all that winking but she doesn't look dumb, so I'm sure she'd take one look at the adorable demon and realize exactly what happened. She'd come over to admire the pointy teeth and tease her supposedly-sharp-edged lover about it a little. But it would probably actually be pretty terrifying for the regular cultivators to be admiring their zombie-free cornfields and suddenly see little fins visible intermittently above the stalks... all their magic crops would be viciously devoured. So DemonicDosie would have the last laugh in the end!

I hope my ignorant mashup has you laughing, too! Thanks for opening my eyes to a fun new girl group (and yeah maybe I should get around to watching MDZS, I'd probably really enjoy it even if (maybe because) it doesn't involve agriculture).
