"I can't believe this."
"You need to face the reality, babe."
"I told you we shouldn't have gone after the guy and leave it to the Tenryou Commission. Now I won't be able to go anywhere at all."
Heizou looked up from the reports he was going over. Sango was sitting on the couch with her left leg in a cast and propped up on the coffee table. She had her head in her hands and if he didn't know her any better he would have thought she was crying instead of cursing her luck.
"The doctor said it would heal in 6 weeks, you need to hold out a bit until then."
"6 weeks is too long. I can't just sit around for 6 weeks!"
"You can't sit around for 6 weeks but stand still all day?" Heizou replied with a smirk. Sango glared at him.
"I will throw every pillow I can reach at you." She threatened while picking up the pillow next to her.
Heizou let out a laugh and walked up behind her to lean down and press a kiss on the top of her head. Sango lowered her arm that was holding the pillow and relaxed a bit as he started to gently rub her shoulders. She closed her eyes and just relished the affection she was showered in
"It is a long time to wait but hey, at least you got a hot boyfriend to take care of you in the meantime!"
She raised her arm to throw the pillow.
"Alright, alright! No need to be grumpy!" Heizou chuckled.
He walked back to the desk he was previously walking on. There were a few colored pens and he grabbed them before walking back to Sango and kneeling beside the leg that was in a cast. Sango looked at him curiously.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm making this ugly cast at least try to match with your blinding beauty~" He said with a wink. Sango rolled her eyes but smiled fondly at him.
The next 15 minutes passed with them sitting in silence while Heizou doodled cute stuff on the cast. Colorful hearts, birds, flowers, sakura trees and whatever other adorable things he could think of.
