Inquisitor walking around with Varric, Solas and Blackwall while looking for the fade rift under the lake
The Inquisitor presses their body between pillars, makes their way over stones and crawls almost everywhere to find loot.
Solas looks around the rooms they enter, when danger is dealt with.
"I'm always impressed with how the dwarf-" Solas' muttering fades out as Blackwall speaks up, "do you know where we're going?" He arches an eyebrow while looking at their leader, the Inquisitor stops "I feel a draft", they casually add before continuing on their hunt for forgotten treasures.
Blackwall shakes his head, he looks at Solas who's still talking to himself and everyone about the architecture, the Inquisitor being a gremlin and Varric, who leans against a pillar, looking as he's done this before.
"Say, Varric" Blackwall frowns, the dwarf doesnt answer, but looks up, Blackwall continues "do you think we're lost?"
"Nah"
"How can you be so certain? I'm not saying we shouldn't have faith in-" they both looked at the herald who's currently stalking a nug, "our leader's... leader skills." He exhaled, he felt both in awe of the Inquisitor and all they could do, but also as an exhausted parent, always making sure their kid isnt being mischievous.
Varric pushed himself off the pillar and followed into the next room, "the Inquisitor and Hawke have a lot more in common that I'd tell Hawke."
"Oh?"
"Well, first of" Varric chuckled, "they both get lost and refuse to admit it"
"We're not lost!" The Inquisitor yells across the room, Varric smirks at the warden, "they both breaks into 'empty houses' and steals their stuff"
"That's not-- ooh a pot!"
"Again-" Varric gestures, Blackwall frown, "they both get lost, steal things... and we call them heroes?"
"Dont forget the times they set off traps because they have the memory of a nug."
Solas finally returns, "how's the search for-- oh, I sense another elven artifact"
The Inquisitor perks up and starts to follow the elf.
"Here we go again..." Varric sighs.
Blackwall never thought he'd be a parent... and yet.
