“Shiho-chan! It's time for your makeup!” Saki exclaimed excitedly. Shiho stopped fiddling with her phone and walks up to Saki.
“Come come, sit here.” Giddy at the chance of doing her girlfriend's makeup,
“Have you done the skincare?”
“Uhh… Yeah,” Shiho is still getting used to all this beautification stuff, but having Saki to guide her makes it less tedious.
“Okay!” Saki cleans her hand with a hand sanitizer. “This has to be perfect!” She huffs.
Shiho sits still, they've done this a few times already, and whenever Shiho moved when she got antsy, Saki would give her a scolding… a very kind one though.
Her eyes are closed, she hears some things popping and snapping. Saki's presence gets closer, and Shiho preps herself for the upcoming touches.
First of all, the hair needs to move. Saki slides her hand under the bangs and slicks it back, placing a headband to hold it. Getting a very small head rub from Saki comforts Shiho a bit.
First comes the primer, Saki puts some on her finger tips and starts brushing Shiho's face. It's a wet, clear gel, it feels cool on the skin.
“I want to pinch her cheeks so much!” Saki tries her best to resist the urge while rubbing her face.
After that Saki takes a bottle, “Pardon me,” she sprays some kind of priming water on Shiho's face. She then puts some liquid highlighter, making a nice glow on the face.
Shiho already has such a beautiful natural face, but Saki loves doing her makeup, so that her beauty just stands out that much more.
Next is the foundation. Delicate strokes on different parts of the face, leaving a pasty feeling. Saki places her left hand around Shiho's left ear to stabilize her head, startling the girl —Saki chuckles.
With her right hand, she grabs the makeup sponge and starts brushing the foundation, blending them in. Then just a little bit of concealer under the eyes. Concealing the eye bags that she has built up from fatigue, “ and hard work!”
Putting small amounts of contour on the cheeks, and the nose, spreading it nice and even. Brushing the blush on to her cheeks. “Ok! Now for the eyes,”
Saki starts with brushing the eyebrows and making them look fluffy. Shiho has thin eyebrows, so Saki makes it thicker with a gray pencil, before brushing it again with some gel to make it stick. “Her eyebrows look so nice!”
Saki adds a shimmering eyeshadow on the eyelids, brushing softly to not discomfort the eyes.
“Now for the eyeliner,”
“Shiho-chan, open your eyes slightly,” Saki hovers over the right eye, and positions her hands. One is holding the pencil, and one is holding the face,
“Tell me whenever you're going to blink,”
Making sure her hands are steady, Saki begins lining the edge of the eyelid, slowly, precisely. Controlling her breathing to minimize any movements.
Shiho holds her breath.
Eyeliners are always a bit iffy, Shiho doesn't really like that a pointy object is so close to the eyes. Thinking about it only makes her more stressed, especially when it's the bottom eyelid-
“Wait Saki!” Saki pulls away. Shiho does a few rapid blinks.
“S-sorry…”
“Ehehe, it's okay Shiho-chan! You're doing great!” Saki clenches a fist and smiles oh-so brightly.
“Ah, you should drink, it's been like 15 minutes,” Saki hands a bottle of water.
Shiho takes a gulp, and a few more, she didn’t think her throat was so dry …maybe it’s because of how bright Saki is.
Taking a two minutes pause, Shiho gives the ‘ok’ to continue,
“Make sure to breathe this time, okay?”
“Ah, uh… yeah, I'll try…” Shiho props a meek look,
“fufu,” once again her hands hover over the right eye, and continue where she left off. This time there's no issue. Leading onto the mascara, there was no issue either.
“Now for the lips!”
Saki takes her prized bottle of lip gloss, it's soft and shiny, with a subtle pink. Saki applies the lip gloss easily, showing her expertise.
“wait, doesn't Saki also use this on her lips… aah, what am I thinking” her mind is getting baked alive.
“Close your eyes Shiho-chan,” Saki sprays the setting spray, to make the makeup last longer. She takes off the headband, and tidies the hair.
“And we're done! Good work Shiho-chan!”
“Yeah, thank you, Saki,”
“Hehe, you're welcome. Here take a look,”
Shiho is amazed by how nice she looks,
“Wow, Saki… you did a really good job.”
…
“Saki?”
“Oh! uh, yeah, thank you Shiho-chan…” Saki usually melts whenever Shiho praises her, but something else is occupying her mind.
“Saki? What's wrong?”
Saki has been staring at Shiho. Mesmerized. “ Shiho looks so pretty.”
She didn't have the chance to look at Shiho wholly since she was focused on one part at a time …but now, now she sees the beauty in its entirety.
“So pretty,” Saki whispers, but making sure it's loud enough so Shiho can still hear it. She grabs her face with both hands, and stares, deeply, into those green eyes that she loves with all of her heart.
Shiho is caught off guard, she couldn’t even respond in any way. She just watches the sparkling pink eyes.
“So pretty,” once more.
Saki leans in, slowly closing her eyelids, Shiho shuts her eyes. She kisses her lips, feeling the oil and wax from the lip gloss, it's a new sensation —since Shiho never had lip gloss on in the very few times they had kissed. Her lips are soft and sweet as always. The kiss lasted four- no five- no, SIX! “Six seconds! eeek! I have to tell Ichika and Honami about this!!”
They pull away, she opens her eyes to see green eyes looking off to a corner. A bit below that, she can see her blush —even through the make up.
“Are… are we done..?”
“Eh? You want more?”
“No, I meant… the makeup… is it done?” Heat makes its way all the way to her ears.
“Oh, yes! It's done! ehehe,” she puts her hand on her cheek, failing to hide her blush. Getting very embarrassed.
“Ok,” even Shiho got very flustered when Saki brought it up,
“We can… we can do more later… maybe.” She said awkwardly, looking to the side.
She glanced back at Saki,
Saki smiles widely, bunching up her crimsoned cheeks,
“so cute”
“You look really pretty, Shiho-chan,” Saki compliments once again, for good measure.
“You look really pretty as well, Saki,”T
he two, awkward, young lovers look very shyly at each other.
“Ah right, we gotta take a pic!” Saki resets the atmosphere.
Shiho gets close, her girlfriend no longer needs to be pulled into every selfie,
“Look cute Shiho-chan!”
“Uh…” *click*
Saki examines the picture, the blonde has her usual wink alongside a big smile, and Shiho… Saki gasps, Shiho has an awkward smirk as usual, but at a second glance,
“It's a genuine smile! Not just that, her hand!! She has it in a V sign! The tip of the index finger right on her cheekbone, leaving a small crater oh her skin,”
“Aaa! Shiho-chan! You're so cuuuute!!” Saki grips her phone tightly, this is a rarity, a treasure.
“Yeah, yeah,” Shiho returns to her usual demeanor,
“Come on, we still have preparations.” She offers her hand.
“Ok!” Saki grabs it, and then their fingers entwine …lovingly. They walked off, Saki skips and huffs out some hums —too bad Shiho wasn't joining in on the fun though— but it matters not, they already shared such a nice moment just now.
“Shi~ho~chan!”
“Hm?”
“I. Love. You!”
“I love you too, Saki.”
“I love you more!”
“...”
“Ehh! Do you not love me more..? huu…” Saki pouts, her eyes pleading.
“Yes yes, I love you more, silly,” Shiho chuckles at her cute antics.
Saki returns to her carefree state,
“Hehe, I love you even more~!”
“Ok, this needs to stop.” Shiho is not going down this trail.
“Huee, no fun! hmph!”
Shiho loves teasing Saki, because she gets to see her cute gestures.
“She looks so cute, maybe as cute as Fenny-kun.”
Even though the dissatisfaction is exaggerated, she is so happy with everything they've had together. But still, Saki really truly wants more lovey-dovey moments with her lover.
Saki stops skipping and walks casually,
“I really mean it, Shiho-chan.” The girl said shyly, tilting her head down, looking at the floor ahead of them.
Saki glows gently in the dim backstage hallway, her rosy eyes reflecting what little light there is, the wavy yellow tails that shakes around, accenting her crimson cheeks. “ She looks so precious,”
“I mean it too.”
“This is the youth experience!!”
