LUCIFER
He may not be easy to impress but he's not blind to your diligence either. The knowledge that you want him particularly to pat your head strokes his pride. How can he refuse such an innocent request? Come closer so that he can tell you what a good job you've done with a smug smirk that melts into relaxed familiarity once he sees your reaction.
His touch is firm and speaks as loud as his words. It’s a soothing balm after all your endeavours. Trust the Avatar of Pride to make you feel proud of any work by being gentle. His praise can be intoxicating and rare enough that it rings in your mind long after he has said his piece. It’s simply poetic justice that this arrogant, condescending demon who called you 'human' as an insult in the beginning starts commenting on how he’s glad to have chosen you for the exchange programme and how unbelievably happy he is to have you in his life.
“Do you like me petting your head like this? How adorable. Just like a puppy craving for my attention. Heh? Don't look at me like that. You asked for this, didn't you? I don't mind indulging you when you need me because you're mine to take care of. Haha.”
SATAN
He’s not especially fond of head pats but he’s a die-hard fan of making all your heartfelt desires come true. When your wish is receiving praise and affection from him, he’s not one to refuse you. After all, he’s always watching over you while you work. Without his assistance, the thorns in your path would have been overwhelming. So, as your teacher, he’ll give you constructive criticism and a world of praise.
“Your affinity for learning never fails to inspire me. I love talking to you and listening to your opinions.”
Don’t complain if he gets carried away midway petting your head. The way your eyes searches his makes him weak.
“You’re a good kitten, aren’t you? I am so purroud (proud) of you. Aren’t you the most adorable?”
If you put your paws… ahem hands on his cheeks and mewl, he’ll officially start malfunctioning. It’s a matter of pride that you make the aloof Avatar of Wrath feel this way.
With a blush adorning his cheeks, he averts his gaze and mumbles, “You make my heart fill with an emotion that I don’t hate… It’s a first for me but I hope that you’ll stay by my side because there are numerous other sensations I want to discover with you.”
ASMODEUS
This demon is a huge ally of skinship — hugs, kisses, drawing hearts on any bit of exposed skin you may have, wrapping an arm around you, and any form of physical affection that you’re comfortable with. You’re THE most adorable being in the world after him so he cannot be satiated with what he has learned about you. He wants more like the little child who has had the taste of their first toy.
Name your form of affection and he'll be ready with his heels on to run to you and make you happy. Just say that you want him to be proud of you and he’ll pull you on his lap and coo about how he has always been mesmerised by your light. He keeps tabs on each and every one of your feats and he’s incredibly proud of all your achievements! He'll shower you with praise while running a gentle hand down your head.
He only stops pampering you when it’s late and Lucifer yells at the two of you to join them at the dining table. As you make your way out of his hold, you can’t help being comforted by the smell that lingers on your skin — no doubt a courtesy of Asmodeus. It reminds you of flower fields in the Celestial realm that you have never really seen.
