Scarlet Overkill (because it was her name, it was never Herb's, no matter how many times the newspapers say otherwise) is going to rule the world one day. Well, she is a little more realistic - she knows she cannot do it at once. She must start small and slow, master the basics before going onto the complex.
With her black hair and pouty red mouth and a voice from the sirens (that last part isn't that literal...yet), it is entirely too easy to seduce Isabella Gru, estranged and much prettier sister of supervillain Robert Gru (she refuses to call him the Bald Terror - what's so terrifying about him anyway?). Isabella says she's trying to save the world from her brother. Scarlet giggles, calls it a noble ambition, and thinks that she is the stupidest woman alive; where's the ambition, honey?
They commiserate over being women in male-dominated industries, because they have to work twice as hard to be seen as half as good, and when they get a little drunk they notice that Isabella's lipstick looks so good pressed against Scarlet's mouth but Scarlet's fingers look better pressed against Isabella's thumping heart.
Either this or nothing at all, and they will end with nothing when Herb sweeps along to defeat Isabella - but wasn't this something?
