Chapter Text

It was another sunny day at Uranohoshi, school was out and it was almost deserted, except one clubroom which was bustling with chatter, a group of girls getting ready for their 1 week long vacation/training camp

"Yoshiko-chan, what are you doing?" Hanamaru asked curiously looking over at Yoshiko stirring a pot of 'ingredients' over a tommy cooker in the clubroom

"Yohane! I’m making a potion of immortality, because I found this old dusty book in the library and I wanted to make this mortal vessel stronger" Yoshiko replied, pointing towards the tattered book lying open on the table as she continued to stir the pot of contents

"What is going on in here? Yoshiko trying to summon God?" Mari came into the classroom along with Kanan, Riko, Yō and Ruby

"YO-HA-NE! Why don’t you mortals understand how to pronounce this perfectly evil name?!" Yoshiko shouted with a huff

"Because Yoshiko is cuter" Yō shot back at the fallen angel who started to blush heavily at the 'cute' part of the sentence

"A-anyway! I am creating a potion of immortality that will make this mortal vessel last forever!" Yoshiko stammered, quickly turning back to stirring the pot's contents “Okay time to add in the special ingredient..." Yoshiko mumbled to herself as she poured some baby powder inside, why baby powder she wondered, a weird ingredient to use but well, the old torn and tattered book said so.

"I-is it s-safe?" Ruby meekly said as she hid behind Riko, wanting a bit of protection to keep her secure as her usual dependent sister was away in the student council room discussing some important matters.

"Yes it is absolutely safe little demon #4! Well based on what the book said..." Yoshiko said as she averted her eyes a little

"That does not sound good... Yoshiko-chan are you sure you would not blow the whole place up?" Yō said as she slowly backed away to the door, the others following suit

"IT’S YOHANE! AND IT IS VERY SA-" Before Yoshiko could finish her retort the pot exploded with a loud 'BANG!', smoke, dust and screams were heard...

Meanwhile

"Chika-san, we would have started this trip earlier if you had done some budgeting before it!" Dia lectured Chika as they walked towards the clubroom, talking about Chika forgetting to budget the funds for their week long training camp, which resulted in them needing to budget everything so they will not go over budget during their trip

"Dia-sannnn, at least we finished it in an hour! Let me beeee" Chika groaned at the lecture about the importance of planning and everything before a sound was heard

'BANG!'

"What was that?" Both Dia and Chika turned to one another, starting to hasten their paces towards the sound of the explosion which came from the..

"THE CLUBROOM!" Chika yelled as she ran towards the clubroom, face stricken with worry

"Chika-san wait! Be careful!" Dia yelled as she ran after the mikan haired girl who suddenly stopped in her tracks looking into the clubroom with wide eyes

"C-chika-san please hold on" Dia wheezed as she tried to catch her breath

"Ah Dia-san, I am not dreaming right?" Chika said as she pointed towards the clubroom, eyes filled with disbelief

"Huh what do you mean?" Dia said as she poked her head around the corner and gasped in surprise when she saw instead of 7 dead bodies but 7 two year olds in their birthday suit, lying around in piles of clothes stained with dirt and dust

Rubbing her eyes once more, Dia squeezed Chika's cheeks who yelped in surprise at the sudden pinch.

"Oh I am not dreaming..." Dia's brain was running at 1000 miles per second trying to take in the situation, until she saw an old book sitting on the table, somehow still intact after that explosion

"Oh my god, its Yoshiko-san again" Dia said slapping her hand onto her face, brain finally registering this has something to do with that fallen angel

As Chika and Dia were trying to find their bearings at the extremely weird situation, baby Ruby's eyes shot open, not registering a familiar environment she started bawling

Dia and Chika quickly turned to the source of the crying which was from Ruby and ran towards her, Dia quickly picking her up and soothing her

"There there dear, Onee-chan is here with you" Dia said as she gently rubbed Ruby's head, who was slowly lulled back into sleep after a series of sniffles, comforted by a familiar presence to her.

"Dia-san, we will need to find something to cover them" Chika whispered as Dia and her scavenged through the clubroom for cloth of something to wrap a baby with... until both of their attention was called when another baby started to sniffle a little, it was baby Yō this time round

Chika quickly picked up baby Yō hushing and lulling her to sleep, silently thanking her baby cousin who comes to visit every year for practice on taking care of a baby... until she felt something wet on her arm, dripping down. Chika took a while to realise what that liquid was, opened her mouth to let out a scream, but it was covered shut by another hand. Dia shook her head, silently telling Chika not to scream, quickly took Yō away from her arms giving Chika a chance to quickly run and wash her arm. 

Baby Yō looked at Dia innocently while sucking her thumb, not knowing what was going on, Dia gave a weak smile before placing Yō onto a clean towel she found.

"Dia-san, are you able to take care of them for a while? I will be back realll quick!" Chika whispered, drying her now clean arms.

“Chika-san! Wait where are you going?!” Dia turned to see no one behind her, the patter of shoes on the floor growing fainter by the second

Dia groaned loudly at Chika disappearing without a warning, as she gently placed Ruby down on another clean towel next to Yō who quickly curled up, sucking her thumb as she slept. Dia quickly cleaned baby Yō up not wanting her to get rashes before attending to the other girls.

"It’s really been a while since Ruby was a baby" Dia thought to herself, remembering the many moments of taking care of Ruby when she was younger, reminiscing the past until another whine was heard.

Dia, heaving a sigh, quickly went to transfer the rest of the girls onto clean towels before they get hurt by shards of glass on the floor. Afterwards she went to sweep up the broken glass, keeping a watchful eye on all the girls as she swept until she heard rustling of some bags, which means that her ‘partner’ was back

“Chika-san where in the world did you go?!” Dia stood with her arms folded staring at the sweaty mikan who just appeared

"Bought ‘huff’ some diapers from the convenience store, I don’t want to deal with another leaky situation again" Chika replied, catching her breath as she placed a big plastic bag containing diapers and some baby powder. 

Chika leaned back on her chair fanning herself with the book Yoshiko used. While Dia quickly cleaned, powdered and diapered all the girls before bringing Chika outside to discuss their unique situation.

"What should we do?" Dia said, with her arms crossed, burrows frowning as she tried to think of a solution

"...Your target will return back to normal in 7 days... that is what it says here, we should be able to handle it right? It is just 7 days" Chika read out loud the important piece of information after skimming through the book.

Dia gave Chika a look of despair and annoyance before crossing her arms and whispering her signature line "Buu buu desu wa! Taking care of a toddler is hard enough and taking care of 7? And for a week!? That is plain suicide... But we have no choice but to take care of them because they won't be able to. Although once Yoshiko-san goes back to normal, I'll make sure to give her a piece of my mind." Dia mumbled the last part softly, but Chika felt the animosity towards the fallen angel.

"Well you got me right? At least you are not alone" Chika piped up trying to make the atmosphere lighter, but Dia just gave a blank stare back as Chika was probably considered the worst person possible to be involved in this situation.

"... Yea that is true, I am glad I am not taking care of 8 toddlers alone, please try your best Chika-san…. I am counting on you" Dia replied, gently clasping Chika’s as though they were sealing a silent deal

"Where should we stay though?" Chika asked a sudden question which Dia started to think about everybody's houses and which would be the best.

"I think we can go to my house, I have some stuff for babies still, because my parents did not want to throw it away, because of the future baby Ruby or I will have... plus we need to also get more stuff for them, we can claim from Mari when she is back to normal" Dia replied after thinking for a while, quickly whipping out her phone to dial for a private chauffeur to pick them up from school.

"This is definitely going to be the longest week I will ever have..." Dia heaved a huge sigh at the troubles that were coming ahead for both of them, while  watching Chika wrap the girls in the clothes lying around the blackened classroom.

As the black car pulled up into the driveway at the Kurosawa Estate, somehow none of the girls woke up. Well Chika was eagle spread over the car seats, hoping none of the girls would roll off while the car was moving.

After silently thanking the chauffeur for fetching them back home and not questioning why the Kurosawa heiress suddenly had 7 kids and a 'wife,' Dia and Chika headed in and quickly ported over the babies from the car to the house and placed them on Dia's bed gently

"Chika-san, I will go and quickly grab an extra futon for them to sleep on for now" Dia whispered getting a nod of reply from Chika, she quietly tip-toed out of the room not wanting to make any sudden noise.

Chika sat there watching all 7 of her friends now in baby form sleeping, giggling at how Ruby would snuggle up next to Riko while Riko almost looking like she was hugging Ruby back in response, taking a quick photo, Chika reminded herself to tease Ruby and Riko when they are back to normal. 

Chika heard some ruffling and turned to see another cute scene unfolding in front of her, Baby Yoshiko was facing Yō, sucking on Yō's thumb, while Yō curled up against Yoshiko, sucking on her other free thumb. Heart giggling with cuteness, Chika snapped another quick picture of this scene.

"Is everything okay?" Chika turned to see Dia putting down a futon on the floor, spreading it out almost crinkle free

"Mmm, they were doing some cute stuff so I snapped some photos" Chika whispered, grinning as she showed Dia the two photos she took, a gentle smile cracking onto Dia's usual stern while she looked over at the photos, especially Ruby's photo which helped to relieve some of the tension in Dia’s shoulders.

“You really love Ruby-chan a lot” Chika grinned, causing Dia to quickly shove the phone back to Chika, her face blushing heavily

"A-ahem… We should move them to the futon first, then change them into these old animal onesies that Ruby and I used when we were younger" Dia whispered trying to steer clear of the subject, as she gently carried Ruby to the futon, the little girl stirring a little at the sudden movement "shh shh, Ruby, onee chan is here" Dia whispered while gently patting Ruby's head getting the small redhead to smile a little before nuzzling back into Dia'a shoulder

After a strenuous 15 minutes of shifting all 7 girls to the futon and changing them into a mixture of fluffy animal onesies, Dia brought Chika out to the kitchen counter, leaving the door slightly ajar and closing the curtains before leaving.

"Chika-san, do you want some tea to drink? Today is pretty hot" Dia said as she walked to the fridge to get a bottle of tea, Chika nodded in reply, somewhat deep in thought

"A penny for your thoughts?" Dia said as she set down two glasses of ice cold tea

"Mmm... I guess I am really scared..." Chika replied with a downcast look as she took a sip of her cold tea

"What are you scared about?" Dia replied calmly, her palms caressing the cup of ice tea

"What if... they never turn back? What will happen to Aqours?" Chika started to blabber questions after questions, her mind in a frenzy at the millions of scenarios happening, and tears started to roll down the side of her eyes

While Chika started to fall deeper and deeper into the well of questions, she felt a pair of warm hands clasp hers

"Everything will be alright Chika-san... I am worried too, but worrying will do nothing but create fear for the future... Don't worry no matter what comes we can handle it" Dia replied with an encouraging smile, her hands shaking a little, but was radiating kindness

Wiping away her tears, Chika gave a weak but brave smile back to the raven-haired girl

"Thanks Dia-san, anywayyy hmmm I wonder if they will be able to walk?" Chika placed a finger, thinking about the different things they could do

"Hmm not too sure bu-" before Dia could finish her sentence, both of them heard then crinkling of a diaper and a tiny sniffle, they decided to walk back into the darkened room to see who was up

Both of them walked into the room to see baby Kanan in her dolphin onesie sitting up, sucking on her pacifier with teary eyes, as Dia approached her, Kanan turned and made grabby hands, wanting to be carried.

"Okay, Kanan-chan, let's go outside okay?" Dia whispered to Kanan as she picked her up, Kanan nodded in reply, hugging onto Dia's shoulder as she continued sucking on her pacifier

As Dia and Kanan left the room, Chika continued to stay inside to watch over the other 6 for a while more before leaving

As Chika walked into the kitchen, she found Dia playing with Kanan with a stuffed teddy bear from Ruby's room, Kanan giggling as she crawled to Dia for the stuffie

Chika leaned against the door frame, smiling at the scene, thinking about what would be her future, when she has a kid and is married to... Dia. Chika quickly turned the corner, feeling her face heating up at the thought of being with Dia as a wife...

"Ahhhh baka Chika! Stop thinking about this stuff! Breathe breatheeee" Chika took deep breaths trying to tame her wildly beating heart

"Chika-san?" Chika turned to see Dia looking at her curiously while Kanan was giving a huge hug to the teddy bear that was bigger than her and rolling around with it while muttering some baby babble

"Ah Dia-san! I w-was about to ask you what should we cook for dinner?" Chika replied looking back at Dia's emerald eyes looking for an answer

"Hmm how about we... I remember that 1 year olds are able to eat mashed food easily, maybe some mash potatoes and beans?" Dia gave a casual answer, still thinking if its the correct decision

"You know what, hold on let me check Google it's our best friend" Dia gave up on racking her brain and decided to consult the internet for answers, Chika chuckling at Dia's answers

"It says here something soft like tofu or chicken bites will be good" Dia reading off her phone screen

Chika giggled and squatted down next to Kanan, patting her head,

"Kanan-chan, what do you want to eat?"

"Barrots!" Kanan squealed out before going back to chewing the teddy bear's ear

"Looks like we have an answer" Chika gave a smirk to Dia before both of them burst out in laughter 

"Ah Chika-san could you take care of Kanan for a while? I’ll go check up on the other girls" Dia stood up from her seat, dusting her skirt a little before walking out of the room while Chika continued to play with Kanan

As Dia left the room, she leaned against the wall trying to calm her beating heart, feeling something stirring in the depth of her heart

"What is going on? Why is my heart beating so fast... urgh calm down Dia you have to take care of 7 kids... dont let anything else affect you" Dia thought to herself trying to focus at the task at hand

As she went into the room, Yoshiko and Riko started to wake up. Dia walked over to carry both of them out into the living room, but she smelt a stench coming from one of them. Taking a quick peek at both their diapers, Dia realised Yoshiko messed herself

"Come here Yoshiko, let’s get you changed out of that dirty diaper... Riko-chan wait for me a while more okay?" Dia said while patting the red-haired girl who seemed to be in favour of sucking her pacifier and sitting there next to Ruby who was still snoozing away curled up into a mini ball.

Smiling, Dia quickly took Yoshiko to the other room where Chika and Kanan were as the supplies were there as well

As Dia entered the room, Chika was lying on the floor while Kanan was busy climbing onto Chika's tummy, clapping as she managed to reach the summit

"Chika-san where are the diapers?" 

Chika pointed towards the big plastic bag sitting in the corner of the room before tickling Kanan's tummy, eliciting giggles from the girl

Dia quickly went over to the plastic bag, taking a fresh diaper out and quickly changing Yoshiko's soiled one as she was getting a little cranky

"Okay okay, here we go! All clean now! Play with Kanan-chan okay?" Dia said as she set Yoshiko on the ground. Yoshiko looked around for a while, taking in her new environment before crawling over to Kanan and Chika, before Dia could stand up, there was crying being heard in the other room, both Chika and Dia rushed over to the room to see Ruby fully awake and crying, Mari and Yō being woken up by Ruby's cries. Riko tried to pat Ruby's head so she would calm down but it wasn’t working and somehow Hanamaru just sleeping like a log amidst the noise

"Ruby, here here Onee-chan is here with you okay?" Dia hugged Ruby as she carried her, rocking her a little as she walked around to calm her down a little, Ruby started to sob a little as she nuzzled a little in the comfort of her sister's embrace

"Yō-chan, calm down okay?" Chika tried to calm the startled Yō, but it was not working, Yō kept crying louder and louder

"Ruby, I’ll bring you to join Kanan-chan and Yoshiko outside okay? Riko-chan do you want me to carry you too?" Riko shook her head and crawled out of the room in her elephant onesie alongside Dia and Ruby

Chika started panicking as she couldn't calm both Yō and Mari down as both of them were making each other cry more, making Chika almost want to tear her hair out

As Chika continued to try her best, Dia walked back into the room, quickly taking Mari up trying to hush her, Mari stopped crying for a second, looking between Dia and Chika for a bit before bursting out into tears again

"Ehh!?! Whyy" Dia was confused for a second why Mari was squirming, trying to get out of her arms

"Maybe we should try switching? Maybe it would help" Chika said as she placed the crying Yō onto the futon once more and took Mari from Dia's embrace. This time round Mari looked up at Chika for a while with her teary golden orbs before nuzzling into Chika's chest almost being tamed straight away.

Chika giggled for a little bit, before feeling an aura behind her

"... I am not flat..." Dia said with a pout touching her chest and comparing with Chika's assets, sulking a little before picking Yō up to shush her too

"It's alright Dia-san, I can take care of Mari-chan okay?" Chika said as she rocked Mari who was leaning onto her chest, into dreamland once more

After a while of rocking, Yō calmed down and stopped crying, Dia felt Yō's diaper started to sag a little and decided to change her diaper. While Chika put Mari back on the futon for her to sleep for a while more

Chika slowly tip toed out of the room not wanting to wake Mari up again, leaving the door ajar to listen for any noises

"Yoshiko! Come back here!"

Chika heard Dia's shout and saw her chasing after a speedy little Yoshiko who was crawling away with a diaper in her hand, giggling as she crawled away from Dia

"Chika-san! Help me catch her! I’m busy with Yō now" Dia was a little furious, her hands tied with changing Yō's diaper. Yō quietly laying on the table, sucking her thumb away

Chika nodded before walking after a fast crawling Yoshiko, trying not to step on Ruby and Riko a number of times

"Yoshiko-chan! Be car-" Bump! “WAAAHHHH!!!" As Yoshiko was escaping the chasing Mikan, she crawled straight into the leg of a table. Yoshiko sat still for a while, clutching her head a little before bursting out in tears. Ruby got riled up and started to sob too before bursting out in tears too

Riko started to use her small arms to try to hug Ruby to calm the poor girl down, but failing to do so

Chika quickly ran towards Yoshiko trying to soothe her while rubbing her boo boo

"There there Yoshiko-chan, Chika-nee will kiss your boo boo away" Chika said as she planted a gentle kiss on Yoshiko's forehead while gently patting her head. Yoshiko slowly stopped crying as it turned into little sobs only whining a "Mamaaa" between sobs

"Next time be careful okay?" Chika said as she carried Yoshiko up and she saw her diaper sagging a little

"Ahh looks like a little fallen angel here needs to change out of her stinky diapy!" Chika smiled as she brought Yoshiko to Dia who just finished changing Yō's diaper and place Yō down on the ground with Kanan who is now gnawing on the dolphin plushie taken from Ruby's room, the teddy bear being tossed aside

"Dia-san are you able to help change Yoshiko's diapy? I will go help take care of Ruby-chan" Chika said as she held out the smelly baby who giggled in response.

Smiling, Dia nodded in response, taking Yoshiko from Chika's arms and placing her on the table to change

"There there Ruby-chan" Chika took Ruby up into her arms and patted her diapered bum a little, the pink haired girl sniffled a little before snuggling into Chika's embrace, Chika giggled softly while stroking Ruby's hair gently

"Ruby-chan do you want to continue playing with Riko-chan?" Chika whispered to Ruby in a sweet voice who replied  "Pway" in return

Chika set Ruby down next to Riko who was all on fours sucking on her pacifier, waiting patiently for her playmate to come back. Riko took a white stuffed rabbit to play with Ruby as they sat there blabbering baby talk as though they were deep into a story

Chika smiled at the sweet sight and took a short clip... absolutely not using it as blackmail once they are back to normal. After saving the short clip, Chika turned to see Kanan and Yō playing on the huge dolphin plushie as though they were riding it in reality

"Uuu! Kawaiii! What are both of you playing?" Chika asked squatting down to the two toddler's eye level

"Dolpin!" Both of them yelled out in unison before blabbering more baby talk

"Chika-san, are you able to check on Mari and Hanamaru before starting on dinner?" Dia said as she continued to play with Yoshiko on her lap

"Hehe okay dea- I mean Dia-san!" Chika fumbled on her words before running out of the room with redden cheeks, if she had turned around she would have seen the other girl in question blushing like a tomato

"Dammit Chika-chan why did you say that" Dia muttered under her breath, trying to compose her erratically beating heart, while Yoshiko sat on her lap giving a cute head tilt at the reaction

"Do you want to play with Yō-chan and Kanan-chan?" Dia softly asked Yoshiko, who nodded in reply, setting her down on the floor, Yoshiko crawled towards the two toddlers who are now instead of riding the dolphin, is rolling on the floor next to it

As Dia looked fondly towards the 3 toddlers playing around with the dolphin, she felt a weak tug on her shirt, turning around she saw Riko who was grabbing her shirt with her small palm

"Yes what do you want dear?" Dia sweetly said as she lifted up Riko into her lap, Ruby crawling next to Dia and nuzzled her head a little on the side of Dia's leg like a cat. Dia giggled at that familiar sight when Ruby and her were younger, it was almost a commonplace to see Ruby around Dia more than her parents.

As Riko sat in Dia's lap, she pointed towards the grand piano, bouncing a little to show her excitement to see the piano "even when she is younger she still loves the piano" Dia laughed softly as she took Riko and Ruby towards the instrument in the corner of the room. The other 3 toddlers saw Dia walking towards the piano and waddled/crawled towards it as well... and dragging the poor dolphin with them

Chika creaked open the door to the darkened room to hear a tiny whine, walking over she saw that Mari was awake

"Heyy dear do you still want to nap?" Mari shook her head and replied "pwayy" before leaning back into Chika's chest "Okay! I’ll check your diaper first okay?" Chika felt around Mari's diaper but it was still dry, smiling she brought her out of the room to hear melodious piano music playing

"Aishiteru banzai!

Koko de yokatta watashitachi no ima ga koko ni aru

Aishiteru banzai!

Hajimatta bakari ashita mo yoroshiku ne mada gooru janai " 

As Chika walked into the room carrying Mari, she felt as though her heart was captured by a siren, goading her into walking closer to her clutches as she heard that melodious voice

She was snapped out of her reverie when her ears picked out a "Chika-san are you alright?", her pink eyes locked onto emerald ones when the raven haired girl turned around in curiosity

"A-ah, Mari wanted to play with the rest so I brought her in, yea yep!" Chika stammered out trying not to show her noticeable blush for being caught staring

"Chika-san do you remember this song?" Chika turned and gave a gentle smile in return

"It was the last song Muse sang as a group when the 3rd years graduated out of highschool" Chika gave a distant smile, being reminded of how she has always been chasing the shadows of Muse, just to find Aqours shine when it has always been with them not in others

"Mmm correct, you get 5/10 for it, it was not their last song together" Dia smirked as she started to give her lecture on Muse, but she got stopped by a Riko who was tugging on her sleeve wanting her to play more piano "Yes yes dear, I’ll play more okay?" Dia said ruffling Riko's hair a little before pressing on the keys once more

Chika placed Mari on the ground who quickly crawled over to Kanan who was sitting there listening to Dia's playing and sat next to her wanting to join in on the free musical

Chika smiled and quickly exited the room, to prep for dinner

"Ah there is no more carrots and chicken" Chika whispered to herself as she opened the fridge, walking back towards the room, Dia moved from Muse songs to some of their older songs, piano version, while the toddlers all clapped and waved their hands along to the beat

"Dia-san, Where is the nearest supermarket? We have no carrots and meat" Chika whispered to Dia, who was still playing as she listened

"Ah, after you exit the house walk down the path, it’s a 10 minute walk, you can use my bicycle to get there, it’s much easier with the basket too. Oh and Chika do buy some milk formula powder and some milk bottles too" Chika nodded in response, typing out a quick shopping list on her phone before finding Dia's bicycle and riding it quickly to her destination

45 mins later

"I am back!" Chika said as she lugged the many plastic bags into the house

"Welcome back, what did you get?" Dia appeared in the doorway, walking over to help Chika with the groceries, with Ruby and Riko watching them from behind the corner with curious eyes. When Chika waved at the two, the girls squealed a little before retreating back to the playroom.

"Some carrots, Chicken, milk powder, another 2 more packs of diapers and 7 milk bottles..  oh and some mikans!" Chika turned her attention back to the bags of ingredients on the table, pointing out the different bags.

"Why mikans... anyway let me help you with the groceries then I will head back to the girls" Dia took the mikans and chicken, quickly transporting it to the fridge, before the chicken spoils

After 5 mins of putting away the groceries, Dia took the 2 packets of diapers and walked over to the living room which has now turned into a playroom, while getting Riko and Ruby back into the room

As Dia took a step into the room, Yō and Yoshiko waddled up towards her, hand in hand to the door in their Cat and Jellyfish onesies together

"Mama bak?" Both of them asked in unison, causing Raven haired to blush in response

"Yes my dears Mama is back" Dia replied in a soft voice, cheeks dusted pink while gently patting both of their foreheads. This was a good enough answer for both of them as Yō and Yoshiko waddled back to play with the big teddy bear which was discarded by Kanan previously

As Dia watched on, she felt a tug on her pants, turning around to see a Ruby in her Rabbit onesie, holding up a white bunny rabbit plushie 

"Pway?" Ruby asked, her emerald eyes reflecting in Dia's emerald ones. Smiling Dia nodded, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear before sitting down to join Ruby and Riko in their made up story, while waiting for Chika to be done with dinner

2 hours later

Dia's ears perked up to hear a little whining coming from the other room, which meant Hanamaru had woken up already, she quickly rushed in to see Hanamaru sitting up in her fluffy sheep onesie, eyes filled with tears

"Mamaa..." Hanamaru whined a little between sobs

"Yes dear?" Dia picked Hanamaru up while rocking her a little to stifle her cries

"I wan nam nam" Hanamaru sniffled a little, Dia gave a gentle smile while wiping the little brown haired girl eyes

"Just wait a while, okay? Dinner is almost ready" Dia walked out of the room slowly, with Hanamaru just gripping tightly and sniffling into her sleeve

"Maru dear, do you want to play with Ruby?" Hanamaru shook her head, "wan nam nam"

"How about playing with the dolphin plushie?" Another no, as Hanamaru dug her head a little deeper into her arm

"Do you want Mama to read a book?" Dia hoped that at least the last option will work, Hanamaru slowly raised her head out of her tiny imprint on Dia's arm and nodded in response, her eyes still a little teary

"Okay, what would you like Mama to read?" Dia said as she placed Hanamaru down, before taking some old children's books that were stashed away. Hanamaru crawled back and forth, her amber eyes scrolling through the different titles before her tiny hand pointed towards "Green eggs and Ham" by Dr Seuss

Dia smiled as she took the book and sat down cross legged on the floor, Hanamaru taking a comfortable seat in her lap. As Dia started reading the story, Ruby and Riko crawled over and sat down next to Dia interested in the story, after a while Yō and Yoshiko joined in and lastly Kanan and Mari joined in the crowd, listening to Dia's storytelling

"I do so like green eggs and ham! Thank you! Thank you, Sam I am! The end!" As Dia finished the last sentence she gently snapped the book shut as the girls did tiny claps in response to Dia's story telling. 

"Hey girls, time for dinner!" Chika said as she poked her head around the corner, the girls happily crawled over to Chika for their dinner, except for Ruby who wanted to be carried around

The 9 of them reached a small makeshift table using a cardboard box whose height was just right for the little ones, and was covered in a plastic table sheet that can be thrown away after use.

"Okay girls go and sit down at the table okay?" Chika cheerfully said as the girls crawled over to a cushion and sat down, waiting patiently for their meal. As Chika brought out a tray with 7 small bowls of mashed carrots and bite sized chicken pieces and placed in front of them, which some quickly started to grab their little kids spoon and started to eat from it

"Here comes the aeroplane!" Dia said as she fed Ruby a small amount of mash before turning to Riko who was waiting patiently to be fed followed by feeding Yō and Mari too. Meanwhile Chika was trying to get the rest of the girls to not use their hands while eating their food. "Girls! Don't rush through your food okay?" Chika panicked as she used a cloth to clean their mouths that was covered in mashed carrots

"Zura!" Hanamaru cheered out waving her mini plastic spoon, before ditching her spoon to use her tiny hands to grab fistfuls of carrots to eat

"Hanamaru, stop using your hands! Dia-san help me out hereeee" Chika whined as she wiped Hanamaru hands and got her to use her spoon, before returning to a fussy Yoshiko who didn't want to eat her dinner, while Kanan sat there happily enjoying her meal

"Yoshiko dear, come eat a bit of your veggies okay?" Chika said gently, hovering the spoon at Yoshiko's mouth to feed her

"No carrowts! No carrowts!!!" Yoshiko screamed as she used both hands to block Chika from feeding her

Thinking quickly on her feet, Chika thought of one very common thing to do when a baby is fussy with their food

"See lookie! Carrots is yum yum" Chika said as she scooped a little bit of carrots and ate it for herself. Yoshiko stopped whining and stared at Chika cautiously with her magenta eyes, after staring at Chika for what seems like hours, Yoshiko cautiously lowered her hands, curious to try the 'tasty carrots' Chika was talking about

"Good girl! Are the carrots yummy?" Chika asked the dark blue haired girl, who nodded in response as she opened up her mouth to eat another spoonful of carrots

"Mama~" Chika turned to see Kanan tapping on her arm

"Yes dear?" Chika replied as she continued feeding Yoshiko

"Wan milk" Kanan said as she tapped Chika's arm again, wanting to drink milk after dinner

"Okay hold on dear, let me feed Yoshiko first then I’ll get you your milk okay?" Chika gave another spoon of carrots to Yoshiko who ate it happily. Kanan nodded her head and sat back in her seat waiting for her milk patiently

"Kanan chan here is your bottle" Dia said as she handed a small bottle containing milk, happily Kanan took the bottle and started to drink its contents

"Thanks Dia san, could you help me prepare one for Yoshiko and Hanamaru too?" Chika said as she scraped the bowl for food remnants to feed Yoshiko. Dia nodded in response and went to prepare 2 more bottles of milk as the rest were already in bliss enjoying their after meal drink

After feeding Yoshiko the last bit of carrots, Chika held the little fallen angel in her arms and started to feed her, who closed her eyes and slowly drank her milk, while Hanamaru leaned her head against a pillow and started to drink her milk quickly.

Mari watched on at that scene for a while, deciding to take her bottle over to Chika's side, her small hand palming Chika's skirt wanting her attention

"Yes Mari-chan?" Chika asked the blond head girl while continuing to feed Yoshiko. Mari looked at Chika with those golden orbs before passing her bottle to Chika wanting her to be fed too

"Hold on dear, let me feed Yoshiko-chan first okay?" Mari gave a whiny pout and started to smack her tiny palms on Chika's arm for her message to get across

"Mari-chan I will feed you later after Yoshiko okay? So stop hitting me" Mari continued to whine and hit Chika's arm, until her little hand managed to knock Yoshiko's bottle causing the other girl to choke on her drink, tears welling up in Yoshiko eyes both Dia and Chika's mind thought in unison... "Shit"

Baby Yoshiko did a tiny cough as to herald the chaos to come next, which was a shrill cry

"WAHHHHHHHH"

Chika quickly shifted the crying baby to her shoulder and started to pat her back wanting her to calm down, but Yoshiko's crying only got worse, riling up Ruby and Yō along with her, the other two toddlers starting to cry out too

"Yoshiko-chan, mama is here don't cry" Chika kept softly soothing the little girl patting her diapered bum a little, until Yoshiko slowly turned her wailing into little sniffles and dug her head into Chika's shoulder for comfort. While Dia barely managed to calm Ruby and Yō down from crying out too

"Here Yoshiko-chan! You can hug this while I take care of Mari-chan okay?" Chika softly patted Yoshiko's head and handed her the stuffed bear from earlier, Yoshiko sat there playing with it, waiting for the other girls to join her

Both Dia and Chika heaved a sigh of relief, that it wasn't as worse as they expected. Before they could take a break they needed to take care of one little girl who caused so much chaos

"Chika-san bring the other girls to the playroom" Dia said in a monotone voice

"Eh why?"

"I will take care of Mari" Dia shooed Chika away who somehow managed to wrangle the kids along with her to the makeshift playroom

"Now for you young lady come here" Dia sternly said to the toddler who was a little lost but slowly waddled over closer to Dia

The moment she reached near, Dia flipped the blond girl onto her belly over her lap, her diapered bum facing upwards. Mari started to whine, tears beading at her eyes, somehow knowing what is going to happen next

Pak! "WAHHHHH" Dia's hand slapped Mari's diapered bum while scolding the little girl

"Mama already said that she will come to you soon and what did you do?!" Another slap, tears started to gush out more with each slap "Soweyy" Mari cried out as Dia continued to slap Mari's diapered bum in anger

As Dia was about to deliver one more slap, she felt her wrist being held back by Chika who rushed over from the other room. Chika shook her head as she went and squatted in front of the now bawling Mari

"Mari dear, you know why Mama is angry right?" A nod while more tears flowed, Chika carried Mari up in one arm supporting her a little

"Here come dear let me soothe your bum a little, there there don’t cry already" Chika started to gently pat Mari's bum as the little girl clinged onto her shoulder, her crying lessen a little

"Dia-san you also went too far" Chika glared at Dia for a little, but Dia tried to defend herself to no avail

"But.. but I" 

"No buts! As much as Mari needs to be punished, she needs to know why is she punished too, okay? If not, she will not understand anything, okay!?" Chika placed her free arm on her hip, the other holding Mari up showing her stand on this incident

Dia bowed her head in a mixture of shame and embarrassment, as she walked over to the now sniffling little girl

"Sorry Mari-chan" Dia spoke with gentle words as she rubbed the head of the tiny blond who nuzzled a little into her palm before retreating again into Chika's embrace

"Okay, Mari-chan I will let you down now, go join the others and play okay? Mama and I need to eat dinner too" Chika said as she lowered herself for Mari to crawl, the little girl slowly got off her arm and crawled over to Kanan who was now playing with Yō on the stuffed dolphin 

Chika quickly walked to the kitchen and scooped for herself and Dia two bowls of rice with meat and veggies on it like an Oyakodon

"Itadakimasu!" Both clapped their hands together as they started to tuck into their dinner

"Chika-san..." 

Chika's head turned to look at Dia, whose face was downcast

"Hmm yea?"

"Thanks for helping me with Mari-chan earlier on" Chika looked a little lost for why Dia was thanking her

"Hm? Isn’t it normal for us to treat kids gently, I heard that scolding them harshly but not letting them know why they are being scolded will not help a kid." Chika placed a finger on her chin as though she was trying to remember a research article

"O-oh, I did not know that, when Ruby and I were younger, my dad always scolded us this way."

"Mm, but now you know it isn't the best solution right?" 

"Yea" Dia said as she gobbled up the last bit of rice

"Ah Dia-san you have a bit of rice here" Chika stood up and cleaned the rice bits off Dia's face, which resulted in Dia turning bright red, followed by Chika who only turned red after realising what she did

"T-thank you... Okay I will wash up the dishes" Dia stammered, quickly standing up to bring the dishes to the sink and washing while Chika sat there, a little stunned at what she did before she giggled to herself

"Blushing Dia is sooo cute" 

After washing of dishes

"Girls! Bathtime, let’s go!" Dia clapped her hands, getting the attention of the younger ones, who slowly got up from their spots, some falling back onto their bottoms as they stood up

Ruby looked towards Dia with her arms reaching out, wanting a carry. Dia smiled as she picked up Ruby with one arm and used her other to reach out towards Riko who seemed to want to be held too, but Dia couldn't handle carrying two toddlers at once

"To the baths we go!"

After around 10 minutes of guiding the girls to the open air bath, while making sure none of them went missing they finally reached the destination

As Dia opened the door to the bath, she saw Chika neatly placing towels on the racks and fresh onesies for the girls. Dia felt her face heating up a little as her imagination started to run a little wild

Chika tilted her head in confusion at Dia being stuck in a trance, "Dia-san?" 

"Wait where's Kanan-chan and Yō-chan?" Dia snapped out of her trance and turned around to see 2 missing girls. Chika felt a tug and she looked to Riko who pointed at the door. Chika saw a slight sight of a diaper in the crack of the door to the toilet 

"Yō-chan! Kanan-chan!" Chika yelled as she chased the two speeders into the baths

"Okay girls come here, I will help you take your clothes off, everyone banzai" Dia squatted down to the toddlers level, raising her hands above her head to get the others to lift their hands too

After taking off the onsies from the 5 girls, Chika returned with 2 wet toddlers in both arms and fully drenched at the same time

"Chika-san what happened" Dia asked as she placed Mari's onesie into the washing basket

"Urgh, Kanan-chan and Yō-chan just crawled straight into the bath in their onesies, I had to run into the bath to catch them" Chika replied as she took off the wet onsies off the two criminals who were squirming around

Giggling softly, Dia decided to bring the other girls into the bath which Chika had prepared beforehand and tested by the two sea-loving girls.

Walking to the bath Yoshiko, Mari and Hanamaru slowly waddled in splashing around in the water. Although Ruby held on tight to Dia not letting go

"Ruby, lets go into the water" Dia encouraged by guiding her forward, but Ruby shook her head and clung tighter

Riko waddled next to Ruby, gently grabbing her hand, pointing towards the water urging Ruby to join her in going into the bath, the little red haired girl slowly place one of her foot in before taking another smaller step in, after a few more steps Ruby was in waist deep water. Dia rolled up her pants and walked into the water, washing the little girls hair, as Dia was washing Mari’s hair they heard soft thudding of feets and two torpedos tumbled into the water, splashing everyone with their waves.

“Yō-chan, Kanan-chan! Be careful!” Dia gently berated, not wanting any of her precious friends to suffer any head injuries. Yō and Kanan started to splash water at Yoshiko and Mari who splashed back in return.

As Dia continued to gently scrub Ruby’s hair she heard soft footsteps behind her. Although Dia expected Chika to join her in helping to clean the girls, what she didn't expect was the mikan headed leader to be wrapped in a towel. “C-chika- san, why aren't you wearing anything?” Dia stammered a little distracted by the fact her crush was just a few steps away from her fully naked underneath that piece of cloth

“Eh? Isn’t it easier to wash the girls in a towel? Going in with clothes seems to be a hassle” Chika cocked her head cutely to the side, seemingly not understanding the precarious situation Dia’s heart was in.

“I-uh, I-uh” Dia stuttered until a cheeky Yoshiko decided to pull the knot on Chika’s towel, letting all of Chika’s naked glory to be bared before Dia

“Yoshiko-chan! Don’t untie my towel!” Chika scolded but the little girl was giggling as she scrambled back into the water

“Dia-san sorry what were you saying earli-” Chika quickly tied back her towel but she turned to see Dia fainted in the bath, her nose bleeding slightly 

“Dia-san!! Girls wait here for a while, I will take care of Dia first” Chika quickly dragged the unconscious girl out of the water, while the little ones just watch on curiously 

2 hours later

Dia opened her eyes, her hazy sight looking towards a familiar ceiling

“Urgh what happened? I remember… oh” Dia blushed as she recalled talking to Chika and seeing her naked body before everything went dark. She felt a damp cloth fall from her forehead, looking around she noticed Chika changed her clothes for her.

Dia walked out of her room to see a little light in the makeshift playroom they set up earlier on in the afternoon. Peering through the crack, she saw the girls all curled up and snoozing away on a futon laid out, changed into their onesies while Chika sat at the desk with her head on the table fast asleep.

Smiling to herself, Dia gently took Chika in her arms and out of the playroom, setting the sleepy girl in her bed.

As Dia watched Chika sleep for a while, Chika started to mumble in her sleep and drool on her pillow. 

Smiling even brighter now at the cuteness of her crush, Dia decided to leave the room to let the girl sleep. As she was about to leave the room she heard her name being called

“Dia-chan~…” Dia turned to the girl who was sleep calling her name

Dia walked closer back to the sleeping girl, Chika mumbled out a few more words while a goofy smile was plastered on her face, “hehehe… more mikans please” 

Hesitantly, Dia plucked up the courage to place a gentle kiss on Chika’s forehead

“I love you… but let me have a bit more courage first okay?” Dia whispered before fixing Chika’s blanket. Leaving to watch over the younger ones, the blush ever redder than before on her face, sitting at the desk she dug her face into her hands

“Omigosh why did i just do that!?!?! Get a hold of yourself Dia!” Dia berated herself trying to get rid of the blush that is ever present on her face

“Okay breatheee, lets do some council work to get my mind off it” Dia thought to herself as she placed a stack of papers on the table, starting to scribble some notes.

But throughout the night, all Dia thought about was the goofy mikan headed leader. While Chika dreamt about a certain ravenette feeding her mikan slices at the beach.

Sniffle*

“Mama…”

Chika felt a little tugging on her blanket, wait blanket?

Chika sat up from the bed, rubbing her eyes to see herself in the bed instead of the table where she was resting after putting the girls to sleep. “Oh, Dia must have brought me inside when I slept” Chika’s face heating up at the thought of Dia princess carrying her into the room

“Mama…”

Sniffle*

“Dia’s blanket smells so… No no! Bad Chika! Don’t think about it!” Chika mentally berated herself before turning to the side of the bed to see Yo in her light blue onesie teary eyed, tugging on her blanket with her pacifier in her mouth which slowly slid out of her mouth as she called out for Chika

“Yes dear Mama is here, do you need something?” Chika quickly picked Yo up, leaning her head on her shoulder

“Wan nam nam” 

“You want nam nam huh, okay let me do a quick check on your diaper first okay?” Chika took a quick look into Yo’s diaper

“Okay Yo-chan, let's change your diaper first okay?” Chika took Yo to the makeshift changing table but saw someone fast asleep on the changing table. Dia was fast asleep with a diaper in her hand, her other arm supporting her head as she snoozed away.

“Dia-san?” Chika gently shook Dia with her free hand to wake the girl up

“Eurgh 5 more minutes” Dia drowsily replied before dozing off again

Sighing to herself, Chika shook Dia again

“Dia-san! Wake up!” 

“Huh?” Dia raised her head, eyes blinking slowly to register the place, seeing Chika holding Yō in her arm standing next to her.

“Good morning Chika-san” Dia greeted while stretching and giving a big yawn

“Good morning! I will need you to vacate the place a little so I can change Yō” Chika placed Yō on the previously occupied space, Dia giving Yō a gentle bonk on her nose with her finger, making the little girl squeal out in laughter

“Okay, let me make some coffee first, do you want some?” Dia yawned as she walked towards the doorway, avoiding the other little ones sleeping on the floor

“Nope, it is alright I don’t like coffee” Chika replied as she opened Yō’s diaper

As Chika was changing Yō’s diaper, she heard another sniffle

“Mama” Kanan waddled up to Chika in her sea green onesie, holding her pacifier in one hand

“Hi dear, did you have a good rest?” Chika asked as she taped Yō's new diaper down, Kanan gave a small nod in reply. “Alright all changed and clean!” Chika placed Yo down and picked Kanan up who was making grabby hands 

“Kanan dear, what do you want?” Chika asked the little girl as she bonked her tiny nose

“Mam mam?”

“Okie let’s go to the kitchen for some mam mam!” Chika asked as she offered her free hand to Yo to bring her to the kitchen, guiding her around the others who were still sleeping

“Dia-san, are you able to prepare bottles of milk for the girls?” Chika asked as they reached the kitchen

“Sure, hold on for a bit I am finding the milk powder” Dia replied, opening the cupboards open looking for the powder

“Hehehe okie, girls lets go to the table okay?” Chika placed Kanan on the floor and guided them towards the makeshift table

“Mama…” Yo tugged on Chika’s pants for her attention

“Yes dear?”

“Wan bwear?” Chika giggled and ruffled Yo’s hair gently 

“Okie, I’ll take Mr bear for you, just hold on okay” Chika quickly brisk walked away towards the playroom and grabbed the stuffed bear and a stuffed dolphin before hurrying back to the young ones

“Here you go girls” Chika passed the bear to Yo and the dolphin to Kanan who straight away hugged the toy and blabbered some baby words 

“Hehehe soooo cute” Chika whispered to herself before taking a quick snapshot of the two playing around with the soft toys

“Chika-san the milk will be ready in around 5 minutes” Chika turned to see Dia holding a mug of coffee and still in her bed hair, seeing Dia in her vulnerable side made Chika’s heart soar.

“Dia-san let me help you fix your hair, it's so messy now” Chika giggled before trying to straighten out Dia’s hair with a comb taken from Dia’s room

“It feels silky smooth… so nice to touch” Chika was lost in her thoughts as she combed through Dia’s hair, not noticing the girl below blushing a heavy red while sipping on her coffee

While the two of them were lost in their own world, a tiny whimper came out of the room the girls were sleeping in. Dia stood up quickly and rushed over to see Ruby in her pink onesie tearing up, in a flash Dia rushed to cradle Ruby in her arms, gently patting her head, whispering sweet words to calm the girl down

“Are you feeling better now?” Dia asked Ruby who was now nuzzling her head into Dia’s shoulder. Ruby nodded in response

“Do you want to go outside?” Another nod

“Okay let's go join Kanan and Yo-chan” Dia whispered as she cradled Ruby out of the room

“Bwear!!” Yo squealed as she showed Chika the stuffed bear before gnawing the ear of it

“Dolpinn!” Kanan squealed in return giving a hug to the dolphin plushie

“Girls, no fighting okay?” Chika gently pat their heads as she watched the two played around with the stuffed toys

“Ruby, do you want to play with Chika-san?” Dia gently pat Ruby’s head. Ruby nodded, making grabby hands towards Chika

“Hey there sweetie, what do you want to do?” Chika asked as she carried Ruby in her arms, Ruby pointed towards a soft ball before looking back to Chika, “boll?”

“Okie let's play ball! Here, roll the ball back to me okay?” Chika took the ball and gently rolled the ball in front of Ruby who took the small ball with both hands. Slowly lifting the ball up she tossed towards Chika, the ball rolled a short distance away from Ruby

“Boll?” Yo waddled over to Ruby and Chika wanting to join in

“Ruby-chan, do you want to play ball with Yo-chan?” Chika called out to the little girl who was waddling to the ball and tossing it again

Ruby gave a tiny nod before rolling the ball towards Yo

Chika giggled at the cute scene of both toddlers rolling the ball around, until she heard crying from the other room

Rushing in, Chika saw Riko sitting up crying, she quickly picked her up and cradling her

“There there sweetie, mama is here” Chika hushed Riko who was now whimpering as she dug her head into Chika’s shoulder

“What happened sweetie? Did you have a nightmare?” Chika gently asked as she pat the little girl’s head, Riko nodded in return before giving a tiny whine saying “Mama” while tearing and digging her head into Chika’s shoulder

“It's alright sweetie, Mama is here. Let me change your diaper first before we go out” Chika softly whispered as when she patted Riko’s diapered bum gently, she noticed that Riko was so scared of her nightmare, everything left her system

Gently humming a song, Chika brought Riko to the changing table, quickly changing the diaper as she noticed Riko slowly falling back asleep, sucking on her thumb while listening to the song Chika was humming.

Chika cradled Riko out of the room in a fresh diaper, still humming while rocking and patting the bum of the little girl. Meanwhile in the other room, Dia was busy feeding the other girls before they started kicking a big fuss. As Chika walked into the room with Riko in her arms, humming a simple tune, Dia felt her heart leap for a second at the heartwarming sight.

“What happened to Riko?” Dia asked trying to refocus herself while feeding Ruby, keeping an eye on Kanan and Yo who was leaning their head on a pillow drinking their milk, as Chika sat down next to her, still cradling Riko

“Ah she got a nightmare, it took me a while to calm her down before I could change her diaper earlier on” Chika patted the little girl that was nuzzling into her shoulder, Riko gave a small yawn before snuggling again

“Cute…” Dia whispered to herself, blushing a little pink

“Ah Dia-san, what shall we do today? Keeping the girls in the house will be pretty boring in my opinion” Chika asked, breaking Dia out of her daze

“Ah erm, maybe we could go out to the backyard? My house’s backyard should have enough space for them to run around” Dia replied, taking the empty milk bottle away from Ruby who blabbered some baby words, before crawling out of Dia’s lap to play with the soft ball

“Hmm, we might need to buy more baby clothes too, especially for going out” Chika placed a finger on the bottom of her chin in deep thought

“That is true, hmm maybe one of us could go down to the store, it may be tough to take care of all seven of them in the mall. Oh and you should have breakfast first” Dia offered her arms to help carry Riko so that Chika can get a quick bite, but Riko whined “Mama…” in response and clutched harder onto Chika  

“There there dear, let mama eat first okay? Mama Dia will take care of you first” Chika soothe the little girl who reluctantly let Dia carry her after a while

“Hey there sweetie do you want to drink some milk?” Dia asked as she walked Riko to the kitchen to heat up a bottle of milk for her

“Mam mam!” Riko squealed as she made grabby hands towards the bottle of milk. Dia slowly fed Riko the bottle of milk, supporting Riko’s head at the same time

Chika giggled at the sight, taking a seat at the table she bit into the toast that Dia prepared earlier, she felt a small tug on her shorts looking down she saw Yo looking at her

“Mam mam?” Yo curiously looked at Chika munching away on a piece of toast

Giggling, Chika lightly patted Yo’s head, “Yes dear, mummy is eating mam mam now, do you want to see?” Yo did a little nod and Chika carried her onto her lap, securing her in between her arms as she continued to eat her toast while Yo watches her 

“Mam mam?” Yo pointed towards the piece of half eaten toast in Chika’s hand

“Do you want a little sweetie?” Yo nodded, jumping a little in Chika’s lap to show her excitement

“Okayy open your mouth ahhhh” Yo opened her small mouth for Chika to feed her a small piece of toast she broke off.

“Is it yummy sweetie?” Yo nodded vigorously, opening her mouth for more

“Chika-san make sure to eat some too, don't start the day on an empty stomach” Dia walked back to the room along with Riko in her arms who had finished her bottle long time ago

“Dia-san it's alright! I can survive until lunchtime, nooo need to worry '' Chika did a small cross with her arms, Yo mimicking her with a tiny cross above her head. Chika giggled before feeding another small piece of toast to Yo

“Well that is not the only thing I am worried about too” Dia pointed towards another two small heads appearing next to Chika

“Mama, mam mam?” Kanan and Ruby said in unison looking at Chika with puppy eyes for a little bit of the toast she was feeding Yo with

“Uhhh… Dia-san could you help me out here for a while?” Chika started getting uneasy by two toddlers patting her legs for some food

“Nope, you are on your own, I will go checkup on the other girls in the meantime” Dia smirked at Chika before setting Riko down from her arms

“Dia you meanie!” Chika pouted as she tore off smaller pieces for Kanan and Ruby

“Riko dear, go to mama!” Dia pointed towards Chika, Riko looked at Dia curiously for a while, before giggling and waddling over to join in the fun

“Diaaaaaa, don’t leave meeee” Chika whined when the 4th toddler joined in the commotion

Snickering to herself, Dia walked back to the other room, checking on the other three girls who were still asleep. 

Peeking into the dark room, Dia saw Yoshiko and Mari awake, still sucking on their pacifier but Hanamaru still fast asleep

“Hey dears, do you want to eat some food?” Mari nodded, but Yoshiko shook her head

“Yoshiko, is there something wrong?” Dia asked the little girl who looked uncomfortable. Yoshiko shook her head again

“Did you wet yourself?” Yoshiko didn't answer but started to suck on her pacifier harder

“Okay let me check your diaper first too okay? Mari-chan, do you want to go outside or stay here with me?” Mari shook her head before proceeding to sit down waiting for Dia

As Dia opened up Yoshiko’s diaper, Yoshiko started to scrunch up her face. Dia had a gut feeling and quickly put Yoshiko’s diaper back up, after a few seconds Yoshiko started to cry as she filled her diaper up

“Mama, sowey” Yoshiko cried as she continued to fill the diaper. Dia hushed gently patting Yoshiko’s cheek

“It's alright dear, Mama is not angry” As Dia soothes Yoshiko, Mari stares at Dia with her golden orbs, tears welling up too as she starts to sob. Dia sighed at the karma for leaving Chika to deal with the other girls alone earlier on

After a while of soothing, Yoshiko stopped crying and started sucking her thumb, eyes asking Dia to comfort her more

“Let me change your diaper first okay dear?” Yoshiko nodded, letting Dia do a quick diaper change and clean up, before taking Yoshiko off the changing table and walking over to comfort Mari who was still sobbing from Yoshiko’s crying

“There there sweetie” Dia lightly patted Mari in her arms, trying to comfort her. But like before, Mari didn't like Dia to carry her, screaming and bawling to get out

“Chika-san! I need your help with Mari!” Dia shouted as she tried to prevent Mari from squirming out of her arms. In seconds an orange hair popped through the crack of the door, rushing over, Chika quickly took Mari from Dia, humming a tune while rocking Mari

Sighing, Dia took Yoshiko out of the room to join the other girls who were playing around with soft toys

“Yoshiko dear, let me make you a bottle of milk first okay? You can play with the rest first” Yoshiko looked at Dia, before crawling over to Yo and playing with her

As Dia started to prepare a bottle of milk, Chika appeared in the kitchen with Mari half asleep in her arms

“Dia-san, could you help me make Mari a bottle of milk too? Thankss” Chika gave Dia a sweet smile before leaving the kitchen, humming a tune while patting Mari who was snoozing on her assets

Sighing to herself, Dia could never beat that sweet smile and motherly look on Chika, proceeding to prepare another bottle of milk for Mari too.

10 minutes later

“Here Chika-san, Mari’s bottle of milk” Dia handed Chika who was now sitting down with the girls still cradling Mari in her arm and playing with Ruby and Riko

“Thanks Dia-sann… Mari-chan, here is some mam mam, do you want mama to feed you?” Chika shook the bottle of milk to get Mari’s attention who nodded towards Chika. Smiling she slowly fed Mari the bottle of milk 

“Chika-san later, do you want to bring two of the girls out when you buy clothes for them?” Dia asked as she fed Yoshiko her bottle of milk

“Mmm, I would but won't it be heavy to carry everything back alone?” Dia thought for a while, “I can ask the family driver to help fetch you back and forth.”

“O that is true! Thanks Dia!” Chika walked over, carrying Mari and gave Dia a little snuggle on her shoulder. Blushing, Chika carried Mari to the kitchen trying to hide her embarrassment while Dia was stunned at the sudden snuggle Chika gave her

“T-that was randomm… I wish I could tell her how I feel.. Right Yoshiko?” Dia swiped a strand of Yoshiko’s hair but the little girl ignored her and continued to be content with drinking the milk in her bottle

“Mama! Boll!!” Yō waddled up to Dia and showed her the ball she was playing with Riko and Ruby

“That's cute dear, go back to playing with Ruby and Riko okay?” Dia used her free hand to pat Yō’s head who giggled and waddled off to where Riko and Ruby were

As Chika finished feeding Mari, she heard a tiny whimper coming from the room which means that Hanamaru is finally awake. “Mari dear go and play with Kanan first okay? Mama need to go check on Hanamaru” Chika gave Mari a tiny nuzzle which the little girl giggled in return before setting Mari next to Kanan and rushing to check on the last girl

“Hey dear, is everything okay?” Chika asked as she picked Hanamaru up and cradled her

“Mama…” Hanamaru whined as she messed up her diaper, slowly breaking out into tears.

“It's alright dear, don’t cry, Mama will change you out of your diaper alright?” Chika hummed a tune as she walked towards the changing table, quickly changing Hanamaru out of her dirty diaper

“There you go all clean dear! Ready for some mam mam?” Chika looked toward Hanamaru started to get excited at the prospect

“Here Chika-san” Chika looked towards the door and saw Dia holding a bottle of milk for Hanamaru

“Thanks Dia” Hanamaru made grabby hands towards Dia for the bottle of milk, squirming in Chika’s hand for it

“Dear don't worry Mama will feed you okay?” Chika slowly fed Hanamaru who hungrily drank the bottle of milk down

“Mama! Pwayyy!” Yō waddled towards Chika with Ruby and Riko in tow asking her to play ball with them

“Dears wait alright, let me feed Hanamaru first”  Chika giggled at the cuteness of Yō, Riko and Ruby sitting down on the floor in a circle, waiting for Chika by staring at her with puppy eyes

After Hanamaru was done drinking her milk, Chika went to play with Yō, Ruby and Riko. As play time with the young ones came and went, along with some diaper changes in the middle. It was time for lunch and Chika started to get up to cook some food, but was stopped by a pair of hand behind her

“It's alright Chika-san, I have already cooked lunch for the girls, it should be ready in 5 minutes” Dia assured as Chika sat back down “Thanks Dia-san! You will be a great Mom in the future!” Chika declared, although quickly covering her mouth realising what she blurted out in the moment

“Thanks Chika…-Ch-san, I will go back to cooking” Dia stammered out trying to keep her cool towards Chika’s words, both parties blushing at their comments to one another. The little girls staring at the situation closely with confusion on their faces and one of them excited at that scene

After a quick lunch of mashed peas and milk for the little ones, Chika got ready to go out to buy some clothes for the little ones.

“Chika-san, my family chauffeur is here, who do you want to bring along?” Dia asked while carrying Ruby in her arm

“Maybe Riko and Yō? But will Ruby be lonely?” Chika asked as she poked Ruby’s chubby cheeks who giggled at the touch

“I think Ruby will be fine, she can play with Yoshiko and Hanamaru” 

“Ah okay, I will go get the two ready then” Chika went over to change Yō into a cute overalls with a sailor shirt on the inside while Riko was in a pink dress.

“Alright! We will be heading off now, girls stay good alright, especially you Mari” Chika nuzzled the little girl who seemed sad to see Chika leave the house

“Take care, I will message you if there is anything we will need” Dia said as she did a gentle smile 

“Okie! Lets go girls” Chika held both Yō and Riko’s hands as they boarded the car and left for the mall

On the drive to the mall

“Takami-sama, I will assist you today with shopping, as you look like your hands are full with the two toddlers” Chika smiled towards the grey haired man called Takahashi who was helping to chauffeur them back and forth

“Thank you, Takahashi-san… Erm you can drop the sama as I am not really a rich girl” Chika shyly rubbed her fingers together, not used to being called a sama by someone else

“No, I cannot do that as you are Kurosawa sama’s wife Takami-sama” Takahashi looked through the rear view mirror of the car, seeing Chika choke on her water on the word wife

“E-ehhhh? I am not Dia-san’s wife, I am just a friend of hers” Chika replied, clearing the excess water from her mouth, her face blushing heavily, patting the heads of Riko and Yō who was looking at Chika with curiousness, the former biting the ear of a stuffed bear

“Hmm, alright but as I am nothing but a servant I will only be able to call you Takami-sama” Takahashi insisted, Chika sighed after a while not wanting to argue further, she decided to take a short nap for a while

“Takami-sama, we have reached the destination” Takahashi opened the door of the car, with a stroller on standby for the toddlers

“Thank you Takahashi-san!” Chika loaded Riko followed by Yō into the stroller. But as Chika was putting Yō inside, Yō started to squirm around in her arms

“Yō-chan do you not want to sit in the stroller? Mama can push you around” Yō shook her head and started to whine

“Do you want to walk dear?” Yō nodded as Chika placed her on the floor, holding her hand as she pushed Riko who started to take a nap while slobbering over the teddy bear

“Takami-sama may I assist you with pushing the stroller?” Takahashi offered while he was walking behind Chika

“Sure! Thanks Takahashi-san!” Chika handed over the reins to Takahashi to push Riko around as they shop

“Where should we go first?” Chika wondered as she walked around, but Yō started to pull her towards a shop

“Dear where do you want to go?” Yō started to pull Chika towards a stuffed toy shop

As Chika brought Yō into the shop, Yō waddled up towards a stuffed version of a cruise ship and pointed towards it with sparkly eyes

“Mama!! Sip!” Chika chuckled at Yō bouncing like a bunny while pointing at the ship

“Do you want the ship dear?” Yō nodded her head vigorously, giving Chika some puppy eyes to get her point across 

“Hmmm, but you will have to pick out a soft toy for the other girls too, okay dear?” Chika patted Yō’s head as she gently told the small girl who nodded in response before waddling over to other soft toys

“Sta!” Yō pointed towards a stuffed star

“Who is the star for dear?” Chika crouched down next to Yō

“Mawi!!” Yō gleefully said with sparkly eyes

“For Mari-chan… how about Yoshiko-chan?” Chika guided Yō as she quickly bagged the star along with the ship

“Boshiko… Boshiko…” Yō muttered as she waddled around looking at the different stuffed toys

“Mama! Boshiko!” Yō yelled out as she pointed towards a stuffed shark

Chika giggled at Yō’s cuteness overload in that second, “Will Yoshiko-chan want this?” Yō tilted her head slightly for a bit before nodding again

“Okie Dear let's pay up first okay?” Chika brought Yō to the cashier to pay for the 3 soft toys before heading out with a bag

“Takami-sama here let me take care of your bag” Takahashi sat up from a bench and offered to take the bag of soft toys

“Thank you Takahashi-san, how is Riko-chan?” Chika peered into the stroller, seeing Riko fast asleep sucking on a pacifier and hugging the teddy, was such a cute sight to behold

“She has been sleeping soundly Takami-sama” Takahashi replied as he slowly pushed the stroller alongside Chika

“Okie! Next stop at the clothes store!” Chika cheered with Yō doing a mini cheer next to her as they made their way to the clothes store

At the clothes store

“Hmmm, what would be cute for outside wear?” Chika pondered as she looked at the array of toddler clothes

“Hi madam, how can I assist you today?” A staff came up to Chika with her clipboard

“I am looking for some clothes for my girls” The staff crouched down to Yō who hid behind Chika when the staff approached them

“Hi there little girl, what do you want to wear?” But Yō hid behind Chika further. Chuckling, Chika quickly carried Yō in her arms

“Sorry, she is very shy around strangers” Chika replied remembering of how Yō was very shy when they first met in elementary school

“Ah it's alright, may I direct you to some clothes that maybe your girl will like? Let me know if you need to check on any sizes for an outfit” The staff guided Chika and Yō towards a rack and stood at the side waiting to assist Chika

After a long tortuous time of choosing clothes for all 7 girls, Chika paid up and left the store with a few bags of clothes

When Chika came out, Yō started to be sleepy and asked to be carried. Takahashi promptly took the bags off Chika and helped her put Yō into the stroller with her pacifier on. As they started to walk, Riko started tearing up. Quickly, Chika took Riko and cradled her in her arms, lulling the little girl to sleep, but Riko was wide awake and started to cry even more

“Dear what happened?” Chika asked as she continued to rock Riko, but realised Riko woke up because she messed her diaper

“Ah it's alright dear, mama will change your diaper alright?” Chika quickly took Riko to a family changing room and changed Riko’s dirty diaper out and put on a new one for her

“Are you feeling better dear?” Chika cradled Riko out while patting her on her bum gently, Riko nodded in response but kept sucking on her pacifier 

“Do you want to walk?” Chika wanted to set Riko down but Riko grabbed onto Chika’s sleeve, not wanting to be let down. Letting out a small sigh, Chika smiled and carried Riko alongside Takahashi who was pushing Yō in the other stroller with the rest of the purchases

“Takahashi-san, let's stop here for now, I want to check out the blankets” Takahashi nodded and pushed the stroller to a bench and sat down, watching over Yō while Chika and Riko went into the store

“Blankets, Blankets” Chika muttered as she carried Riko with her, walking around the store

“Ah here it is!” Chika saw a section of the store selling comfy blankets for children. Chika walked through the selection of blankets from thin to thick, scratchy to comfy

“Hmm what to get” Chika pondered as she felt each blanket to test the quality. But as she was testing, Riko took a small comfy blanket and started to bite on it. Chika flinched at the sudden touch by the blanket that Riko took and sighed at the chipmunks cheek Riko was making while biting the blanket

“Mama, bwankie” Riko muttered before going back to marking her territory on the blanket

“Riko dear, where did you take this blanket from?” Riko ignored Chika and continued to chew on the blanket, after a while of chewing, Riko fell asleep hugging the blanket

Chika tried to pry the blanket out of Riko’s arms, but Riko whined in response,with a few puppy tears in her eyes as she clutched onto the blanket. Chika sighed even louder and decided to retrace back to see the origin of the blanket

“Hmm, it's a little on the pricier side for the blankets but Dia said to get a cheaper and more affordable one…” Chika thought to herself, looking at the blankets and back at Riko who was snuggling into her blanket. “Urghhh, which one??” Chika pondered and did a silent roar of distress

“Thank you for your patronage!”

Chika came out of the store with a bag of new blankets for the girls and one special blanket for Riko after a torturous 30 minutes of thinking

“Dia-san is going to scold me for this… and my wallet is going to die at this rate” Chika sighed silently to herself as she shed a silent tear as she prepared herself for the nagging to come

“Takami-sama is everything alright?” Takahashi took Riko from Chika’s arms and placed her gently into the stroller

“Everything is alright! Let's go get groceries and head back!” Chika cheered herself up but quickly covered her mouth when Yō started to whine at the loud noise

45 minutes later

“We are back!” Chika called out as she opened the door to the Kurosawa estate, hoping Dia would greet her but silence only greeted her

Questioning a little, Chika cautiously stepped into the quiet house, placing the purchases and groceries onto the counter she walked into the quiet house while pushing Riko and Yō who were both snoozing away in the stroller

Chika opened the bedroom door, but no one was there… Playroom was empty too. Chika’s hands started to tremble a little at the worst case scenario that could happen

“Dia-san? Girls?” Chika stammered as she walked through the empty halls

“Why must Dia’s house be so big?!?” Chika exclaimed to herself as she walked along the long corridor. Her ears perked up when she heard laughter in the distance. Slowly, Chika made her way towards the bath and creaked opened the door

Only to see Dia in a striking red string bikini as she played with the little ones in the water. Chika’s face flared up instantly at that sight, being able to see Dia’s delicious curves that was hidden mostly under her modest school attire most of the time, was a feast to her eyes.

“C-chika-san? W-welcome back” Dia stammered, blushing heavily, realising she is very very underdressed in front of her crush

“Mama! Pwayyy!!” Yō was awake, asking frozen Chika to let her out of the stroller to play in the water. Riko woke up to the noise and had pleading eyes to get out of the stroller too

“Here dears, let me take out your clothes first okay?” Chika placed Yō down and quickly took off her outfit, the little girl squealing as she ran in to join the chaos. “Riko dear you need to put down your blankie before you can play is it alright?” Riko nodded and Chika took the security blanket from her along with her outfit, Riko waddled into the bath to play

“Erm… I will put Yō and Riko’s clothes into the laundry… H-How was the trip?” Dia stammered shakily taking the discarded clothes off the floor and putting it into the basket

“It was fine, I managed to get new blankets for the girls and the groceries… Okay I am going to go first, I still have not packed the groceries” Chika scrambled out of the bath, trying to hide her embarrassment

“Urgh this is the worst” Dia wanted to shove her head down the deepest pit she could find to hide herself away from Chika

For the rest of the evening, there was an uneasy atmosphere between both Dia and Chika as both were too embarrassed to look at one another

“Mama!” Mari looked at Chika with her arms open wanting a cuddle. Giggling Chika picked up Mari and rocked her a little, Dia watched on with a soft smile on her face, almost forgetting the events in the bath

“… Mari today was crying when I was putting the girls for a nap, it was difficult to pacify her until I bundled up some of your clothes and gave it to her to hug to sleep. She slept peacefully hugging your clothes like it is her lifeline” Chika poked Mari’s cheeks in response, getting a giggle from the little girl

“Awww, Dear were you missing mama?” Chika nuzzled Mari who snuggled back in response and blabbered some baby words before yawning a little

“Dia-san, I think we should put them to sleep. It is a little late now” Chika said as she rocked Mari a little while patting her bum, slowly putting her to sleep. Chika took the stuffed star she bought earlier and placed it in Mari’s hands

“Sta?” Chika giggled as Mari sleepily grabbed the star and hugged it as she slept in Chika’s embrace. Chika gently placed Mari onto the futon before putting a pacifier into Mari’s mouth and placing the new blanket over her. Giving Mari a tiny goodnight kiss on her forehead before leaving to put the other girls to bed

“Mama bwankie?” Riko mumbled as Chika patted her to sleep. Chika walked over and pulled Riko’s new favourite blanket and wrap it around Riko as she continued to pat the girl to sleep, Riko started to get sleepy as she chewed on the blanket

Dia watched Chika lulling Riko to sleep, smiling as she sipped on her hot cup of matcha, a weird feeling bubbling inside of her as she watched the scene.

Chika soon disappeared with Riko into the room before coming out and leaving the door ajar to hear out for the girls. Chika sat down opposite Dia at the kitchen counter, still having that awkward silence between them

“… Riko really loves the new blanket you bought for her” Dia cleared her throat as she tried to break the awkward atmosphere 

“Yea, she kinda stole it while I was looking for the blankets, she was sooo cute while she chewed on the blanket“ Chika recounted the story earlier on in the day

“And you bought it with the money we are left with?” Dia gave a questioning look towards Chika who flinched and started to twiddle her thumbs 

“Ermmm kinda? … You cannot blame me for that Dia-san! Riko was just sooo cutee and the puppy eyes she gave me! I couldn't say no to thattt!” Dia sighed it was so Chika to say yes to cute things “But! But! I used my money to buy Riko’s blanket” Chika tried to defend her case against Dia’s unwavering gaze

“It is alright, Chika-san… Thank you for keeping the girls happy” Dia stood up and ruffled Chika’s hair before walking away. Chika sat there dazed, touching the place Dia ruffled while blushing a little.

“Chika-san do you want to sleep in the bed tonight or do you want me to set up a futon?” Dia’s words broke Chika out of her daze

“Erm… If it is okay with you, can I sleep on the same bed with you? I am not really good at sleeping alone absolutelynotbecauseIwanttosnugglewithyou” Chika blushed as she twiddled her thumbs although she mumbled the last bit. Dia stood there stunned at Chika’s suggestion for a while until she collected herself

“Sure, it is fine by me, we can take turns waking up to care for the little ones” Dia composed herself, doing a silent victory cheer in her head as she went back to her room, while Chika was cheering to herself for being able to have a little tiny hint of snuggle with Dia when Dia left the room

“Mama?” Chika turned to see Mari waddling out while dragging the star plushie on the floor, giving a cute yawn before showing grabby hands towards Chika

“Yes dear? You cannot sleep?” Chika cradled Mari in her arms who nodded in response as she hugged the plushie, Chika giggled softly as she walked back into the room looking for Mari’s pacifier

“Let mama pat you to sleep okay? Here is your pacifier dear” Chika hummed as she patted Mari to sleep once more, whose eyes slowly started to close to the calming presence of Chika

Once Chika put Mari to sleep once more, she quickly set the new baby monitor she bought earlier on in the kids room and left to set the other side up

“Mari seems to be very attached to you” Dia laughed softly as she commented on Mari only looking for Chika and not her

”Yea it is cute when she does that” Chika grinned wider as she started setting up the baby monitors

“Okay all set up! We should hear the girls if they wake up in the middle of the night” Chika explained as she yawned

“Chika-san go and rest first, I will need to finish some work first” Dia opened the door and was about to leave when Chika called her

“Ah! Dia-san, are you able to stay with me for a teeny bit? Until I fall asleep” Chika gave Dia puppy eyes while she was in the bed to put her point across. Dia groaned silently as she lost to those eyes as she nodded in reply.

Dia sat on the side of the bed, as Chika tucked herself in. Dia opened her book to not let her get distracted until she heard soft snores coming from Chika’s side, smiling to herself Dia adjusted Chika’s blanket and gave her a quick soft kiss on her forehead before leaving the room.

“Good night Chika-chan”

Chapter Text

Dia stirred, waking up slowly to a gentle mikan scent next to her. Opening her eyes, she found herself cuddling Chika in her sleep, big spooning her. Blushing slightly she slowly untangled herself, trying not to wake Chika up before going to the toilet to freshen herself.

Coming out of the toilet, Dia saw Yō tugging Chika’s blanket whining a little, but Chika remained in deep sleep, her arms spread out wide in the bed, drooling as she slept

“Yō-chan~” Dia called out to the little girl who turned and waddled towards her quickly with her arms stretched out

“Mama?” Dia hummed in response as she carried Yō in her arms patting her bum a little

“Good morning dear, what do you want?” Dia asked as she snuggled a little into Yō, planting a tiny kiss on her forehead

“Mama, sip?” Dia looked at Yō curiously for a bit and remembered the plushie ship that Chika bought for her yesterday 

“Oh where did you put it dear?” Dia said as she walked around the room, but no sign of the plushie. She decided to walk into the other room where the other kids were sleeping

“Ah found it, here dear” Yō quickly grabbed the ship and started to bite it while emitting cute squeals as she hugged it. Dia patted Yō’s head as she brought her out to the dining area

“Hi-chu!” A tiny sneeze, Dia quickly turned her head to see Yō sneezing, a little bit of snot dribbling out of her nose. Dia quickly took tissues to wipe Yō’s nose clean

“Are you okay dear? Having sniffles?” Yō nodded as she hugged the stuffed ship closer as she continued to sniffle a little more. 

“Dear hold on for a while okay, I will go wake mama up” Dia quickly placed Yō on the floor around some cushions for her to lean on, quickly rushing to wake Chika up

“Chika-san” Dia said as she shook her, hearing Yō’s sneezes made her more panicky

“10 more hours” Chika groaned as she turned to her side in return

“Chika-san, wake up, we need to bring Yō to the doctor” Dia started to shake a little more violently, trying to push the urgency of the issue at hand

“Eurgh?” Chika slowly sat up, smacking her lips as she rubbed her eyes and gave a cute yawn

“Good morning Chika-san”

“Good morning” Chika sleepily said as she dragged herself to the bathroom to freshen up, Dia felt her heart beating a little faster seeing morning Chika 

“Dammit Dia! Remember about the task at hand!” Dia berated herself mentally as she walked out to see Yō playing with her stringy snot as she sneezed more out and Kanan next to her, playing with the stuffed dolphin

“Mama! Dolpin” Kanan squealed as she hugged the dolphin

“Yō-chan! Don’t play with your mucus!” Dia quickly cleaned the snot off Yō before the little girl started to sneeze again. 

The little girl continued sneezing until she started coughing. Dia quickly picked Yō up, cuddling her and patting her bum as she started crying. Dia placed her hand once more and Yō’s forehead was hotter than usual, Dia tried humming a simple tune to calm the little girl down, but Yō just kept crying non stop

“Oh dear what happened Dia-san?” Dia turned to see Chika tying her braid as she walked out of the room

“Yō-chan is having a fever now, she has been crying non stop for a while already” Dia said as she tried hushing Yō gently as she patted her bum

“Here let me take over Dia” Chika took Yō from Dia, quickly patting the girl while slowly walking in a circle to calm the little girl down

“Mama?” Kanan looked towards Dia, eyes beading with tears with her arms stretched out. Dia picked up Kanan, patting her back gently, picking up the dolphin for Kanan to cuddle with

“Feeling better dear? Do you want to follow me to the kitchen?” Dia said as she continued to pat Kanan, Kanan did a tiny nod as she snuggled into Dia’s arms

“Mama!” Dia turned around to see Chika coming into the kitchen, Kanan giving Chika grabby hands to carry her

“Is Yō-chan feeling better?” Chika nodded as she carried Kanan, tickling the little girl in her arms

“I just managed to put her to sleep in your room, but I think she may wake up soon, I will prepare to bring her to the doctor” Chika replied with a frown

“It's alright, I will bring her to the doctor, you can rest for today” Dia said as she started warming up some milk for the girls

“Okie! I’ll go check up on the other girls now, Kanan do you want to follow me?” Kanan shook her head, Chika placed Kanan on the counter with her dolphin plushie, giving her a quick kiss on her head before leaving

However before stepping into the playroom where the other girls were sleeping, Chika heard Yō cries from Dia’s bedroom and she quickly rushed over to hush the little girl. “There there Yo-chan, Mama is here” Chika patted Yo’s bum, trying to hush the little girl who was crying and coughing. While patting Yo, she noticed the stuffed ship on the floor, picking it up she gave it to Yo to cuddle with to help ease her pain, after a while Yo fell back asleep in Chika’s arms. Sighing to herself she laid Yo back onto the bed, quickly walking into the playroom to grab Yo’s blanket

Walking into the playroom, Chika saw Ruby sitting up in her pink cotton candy print onesie, giving grabby hands towards Chika with teary eyes. Chuckling to herself, Chika picked Ruby up, patting the little girl as she talked to her

“Had a good rest dear?” Ruby gave a hesitant nod

“Shall I bring you to onee-chan?” Ruby eyes lit up the moment she heard the word onee-chan, giving the same small nod

“Okie come on dear” Chika said as she picked Yo’s blanket in between her fingers before bringing Ruby out 

“Oh, is Yo-chan better now? I heard her crying earlier” Dia asked as she spotted Chika entering the makeshift dining area where Kanan is quietly drinking her bottle of milk

“I managed to put her back to sleep again, but I saw Ruby awake so I decided to drop by, as Ruby was looking for you” Chika smiled as she ‘simba’ carried Ruby towards Dia who giggled as she made grabby hands towards her sister

After passing Ruby over to Dia, Chika went to tuck Yo in with her blankie. Gently, Chika ran her hand through Yo’s hair patting her back and a soft kiss on the forehead as she snoozed away.

Coming out of the room, Chika saw most of the girls awake except for Hanamaru who seemed to be snoozing away. Seeing Chika, Mari quickly waddled up to Chika asking to feed her, giggling Chika picked Mari up and fed her the bottle of milk.

“Mama!” Yoshiko crawled towards Chika with her bottle of milk, wanting to join in.

“Alright sweetie, let Mama feed Mari-chan first okay?” Chika crouched down to give Yoshiko a soft kiss on her head, who sat down obediently waiting to be fed.

After feeding Yoshiko and Mari, Chika sat down and played with the girls while Dia went to change to bring Yo out to the doctor. “Mama!!” Yoshiko and Mari squealed as they crawled/waddled away from Chika as she slowly chased them.

“WAHHHH!” Yo’s cries were heard with Dia trying to hush the little girl with comforting words. Chika rushed into the room, gently cradling Yo in her arms while patting her bum.

“What happened?” Chika whispered

“I went to pick her up gently, but she woke up crying” Dia sighed as she tied her hair.

“Hmm, I think you should buy from a pharmacy instead, I doubt Yo can go to the doctor” Chika whispered as she gently patted Yo’s bum, who dozed off to the rhythmic pats. Dia nodded silently as she took her purse and left the room, leaving Chika to tuck in the little girl once more.

As Chika tucked Yō in, she heard a shrill cry followed by another. Yō started to stir a little in her sleep, Chika started to pat the little girl again, while humming one of CYARON songs to her, while hearing Dia gently hushing the crying girls outside.

After Yō fell asleep, Chika walked out to see Dia hugging Yoshiko while patting her on the head. “Dia-san, what happened just now?” Chika asked as she walked towards the playroom.

“Yoshiko accidentally hit her head underneath the table, afterwards Ruby started to cry too” Dia explained as she patted Yoshiko on her head, planting tiny kisses on the boo boo.

“Ah I see, Yoshiko-dear come here~” Chika smiled as she took Yoshiko from Dia’s arms, cuddling her while peppering kisses over her forehead.

“Are you sure you can take care of the girls? I can stay here instead” Dia tried to argue as Chika pushed her out of the door

“It is alright Dia-san! Don’t need to worry about anything, see you later!” Chika said as she gave Dia a wave using Yoshiko’s tiny hand.

“Okay see you later!” Dia smiled back at their makeshift ‘family”, somewhere in her heart hoping this moment will last forever.

“I’m back~” Dia spoke as she returned to her house, bag of medicine in hand as she took off her shoes and walked in.

“Chika-san?” Dia called out as she walked around the house, but not a soul was seen.

Finally, Dia found Chika and the girls sleeping in the playroom, Chika was sitting on a rocking chair dozing off with Mari and Ruby sucking their pacifiers on her lap, while the other girls were sleeping around her.

Hearing Dia’s footsteps, Yoshiko was stirred awake, “Bo-cwan?” she groggily whispered out.

Dia placed the medicine down on the counter and carried Yoshiko, patting her to sleep as she hummed a tune. Soon the little girl dozed back into dreamland again with tiny snores.

Prodding the mikan gently, Chika groaned sleepily before snoozing off again. “Chika-san, I bought the medicine for Yō-chan already” Dia whispered as she tapped Chika’s shoulder. Chika opened her eyes groggily, blinking for a while before leaning in and placing a tiny kiss on top of Dia’s nose.

Dia’s face flared up at the sudden kiss, retreating a few steps behind while Chika yawned, “Ah! You are back already, I must have dozed off while putting the girls down for a nap” 

Chika gently placed Mari and Ruby down onto their pillows before covering them with their blankies.

“Dia-san are you alright? Your face is red” Chika noticed as she walked closer to Dia who shoved the medicine into Chika’s hands

“I-I am fine! It was hot outside today… I-I will go for a shower right now! Here is the medicine for Yō-chan!” Dia stammered before retreating to take her clothes and soak herself in the bath

“Eh?” Chika groggily replied as her sleepy brain woke up, recalling her kiss on Dia’s nose, clutching the bag of medicine to her face trying to hide her heated face as she silently screamed to herself

“WHY DID I KISS DIA?!” 

“Blub blub blub” Dia blew bubbles as she sank deeper into the bath. Recalling the kiss, she quickly splashed her face with water trying to regain her bearings

As she was splashing her face with water, the sliding door to the bath opened up.

“Dia-san, can I join you for a bath?” Chika asked curiously 

Dia blushed for a bit before nodding her head and subconsciously covering herself up, as she heard Chika sat down to wash herself

“Calm down Dia, Chika is just a friend right… Just a friend” Dia’s brain exploded with the many implications Chika was having coming into the bath with her after the kiss

Quickly turning herself away, Dia continued to splash her face with water until she heard Chika step into the water.

“C-chika-san how were the girls just now?” Dia stammered as she tried to change the topic away from Chika.

Chika hummed for a while before replying, ”They were really obedient, they played around quietly whenever Yo-chan woke up. Once she went back to sleep, they crowded me to play around. But Yoshiko-chan has been asking me all day for Yō-chan… I feel bad separating them”

“It is alright, it is better to seperate them otherwise they will spread the bug to one another” Dia replied as she splashed her face more, trying to hide the blush

“Dia-san u-“ before Chika could complete her sentence, she heard Yō crying out for her. Quickly, Chika stood up to dry herself and rushed to take care of the little girl

Dia sank herself deeper as the image of Chika’s naked body was burned into her brain. 

“I better get out before I faint” Dia told herself before the lightheadedness sets in

“Mama!” Riko squealed as she waddled to Dia for a hug, Dia responded with a tiny kiss and a pat to the head which made the little redhead smile widely before returning to play with Ruby

Dia looked around, seeing each group of girls playing together. Mari and Kanan playing with their stuffies, Hanamaru sitting down reading a book, Ruby playing with Riko, but Yoshiko was missing.

Poking her head out of the door, Dia saw Yoshiko sitting down looking at the door to her room.

Walking over to the little fallen angel, Dia gently patted her head. “Yoshiko-chan, what are you looking at?” Yoshiko turned towards Dia, eyes beading with tears as she hugged the stuffed shark. 

Making grabby hands, Dia picked her up, gently stroking her hair while humming a tune to soothe her.

“What's wrong dear?” Dia said as she patted Yoshiko’s bum

Yoshiko looked at Dia for a while before pointing to the door, “Bo-cwan?” Afterwards she hugged Dia as tight as she could.

“You must have been lonely today without Yō-chan” Dia whispered as she patted the little girl on the head trying to comfort her.

After a while of patting, Dia heard the door creak open and Chika walked out with Yō in her arms, looking better then before

“Boshiko!” Yō called out as she made grabby hands towards the little fallen angel. Noticing this, Chika placed Yō down who quickly waddled towards the other girl

“Bo-cwan!” Yoshiko started to squirm out of Dia’s arms, who quickly placed the girl on the ground

Both girls waddled to each other before sitting down, hugging each other and tearing up.

“Bo-cwan!”

“Boshiko!”

“Come girls, let's go play okay?” Chika smiled as she carried Yo and Yoshiko in both arms, before moving to place them in the playroom with the others

“Goodnight sweetie~” Chika gave a light kiss to Mari’s forehead, as the little girl sucked on her pacifier snoozing away in her arms

Patting the blond girl, Chika gently placed her on the futon next to Kanan who was snoozing away. As Chika pulled away, Mari started whining. Chika looked around as she sat down patting the girl again, seeing the star plushie on the floor, Chika tucked it in between Mari’s arms who snuggled into it with a big smile plastered on her face.

“Bo-cwan~”

“Boshiko~”

Chika saw Yoshiko and Yo hugging each other in their sleep, Yoshiko drooling onto Yo’s onesie while Yo sucked on Yoshiko’s thumb. Giggling softly, Chika took a quick snap of them, before kissing them goodnight and closing the door behind her.

Walking out of the room, Chika peeked into the room and saw Dia wearing glasses as she scribbled away at the stacks of papers, with a tiny table lamp lighting her area.

“Dia wearing glasses is so cute” Chika giggled to herself as she went to the kitchen to prepare some tea for her beloved crush.

“Dia-san, I have made some matcha for you” Chika smiled as she settled the steaming cup of green liquid next to Dia.

“Ah! Thank you, Chika-san, are the girls asleep?” Dia replied as she took a long grateful sip of tea

“Yep! They are all tucked in and asleep” Chika giggled as she took a stool and sat next to Dia, watching the council president go back to writing her documents.

“That seems like a lot of stuff, do you need some help?” Chika offered

Dia thought for a while before nodding, pushing a stack of papers to Chika.

“Help me organise these papers thanks” Dia gave a small smile before going back to her work, Chika giggled before looking through the papers.

‘Yawn~’

“Finally done, phew at least for the next few days I will be free to play with the girls” Dia thought to herself as she stifled a yawn, cracking her neck and back before standing up.

Hearing soft snores next to her, Dia turned to see Chika fast asleep on the tabletop. Smiling to herself, Dia gently carried Chika up and brought her to the bed covering her with the blanket.

After packing up the papers, Dia turned off the light and snuggled into bed next to her.

“Goodnight Chika-chan~” Dia’s face blushed lightly as she pressed a light kiss onto Chika cheeks, before falling asleep hugging Chika.

“Wahhh!” A cry sounded through the house, triggering a domino sounds of crying.

Chika’s ears perked up at the cries, jolting awake. Throwing the blanket aside, Chika bolted out of the room to comfort the crying girls. Chika’s actions stirred Dia out of her slumber.

Glancing at the clock by her bedside, Dia sighed at having only 2 hours of sleep so far. 

“Chika-san what happened?” Dia whispered as she quickly picked a weeping Ruby up and started to patting her back to sleep.

“Hanamaru had a nightmare and woke up crying, sorry but could you help with the other girls?” Chika replied as she brought a crying Hanamaru out of the room, not wanting her to rile up the other girls.

After a good 20 minutes of patting and diaper change, Dia managed to pat most of the girls except Mari asleep.

“Where is Chika-san?” Dia wondered as she quickly carried Mari who was sobbing in her arms calling out for Chika to her room. 

Walking into her bedroom, she found Chika cuddling Hanamaru in her lap as she sat on the bed. Humming a gentle tune as she showed Hanamaru a video of some fishes swimming in the aquarium on her phone

“Mama~” Mari sniffled as she reached out to get some cuddles from Chika.

“Hanamaru dear, mama Dia will cuddle you now okay?” Hanamaru gave a small nod but her teary eyes were still glued to the fish on the screen, tapping it as a fish swam past. Dia and Chika quickly swapped positions to comfort the girls

“Goodnight dear” Chika whispered as Mari snuggled into her arms, dropping the star plushie as she sucked on her pacifier, gently patting her bum rhythmically as the little girl dozed off 

Placing Mari on the spare futon, Chika patted her bum as she dozed off, tucking the stuffed star in her little arms

“Hanamaru dear, do you want to sleep yet?” Hanamaru shook her head, continuing to tap the fishes on the screen

Dia smiled as she played a compilation of soft piano tunes, while continuing to cuddle the little girl

Soon Hanamaru’s eyes become droopy, with a small yawn she snuggled into Dia’s embrace. Dia continued to pat the small girl as she placed a pacifier into Hanamaru’s mouth, gently patting her bum as she hummed the theme song of the little mermaid

“Fwisy” Hanamaru mumbled as she snoozed away

“Hanamaru-chan is so cute” Chika giggled as Dia placed Hanamaru on the futon next to Mari, patting on her bum for a while before sitting back on her bed next to Chika

“Phew, I am glad the girls are back to sleep” Dia yawned as she laid her head on the pillow

“Dia-san, should we bring the girls to the aquarium tomorrow?” Chika asked as she snuggled into her side of the bed

Turning around to face Chika, Dia felt her face heating up seeing the lovely rubies that she fell in love with, illuminating in the moonlight.

“Dia-san?” Chika’s words broke Dia out of her trance

“Erm sorry but could you repeat?” Dia blushed, hoping that the moonlight won’t show her embarrassment 

“Haha, you are as blur as Kanan when she does anything that is not sea related” Chika teased, making Dia pout before turning around and showing her back towards Chika

“Goodnight” Dia pouted as she faked her sleep

“Mou Dia-chan?” Chika whined as she rocked Dia’s body

“C-chika-san can you repeat that?” Dia mumbled as she blushed

“? Urm I was saying that we-” Dia interrupted a confused Chika

“No no not that, just now what did you say?” Dia blushed a deeper red, hoping Chika wont see it

“Mou?” Chika replied quizzically

“No, erm nevermind, I will use the bathroom now” Dia sighed as she got up to use the bathroom, stepping quietly around the two girls sleeping on the floor

“Huh? Wait Dia-san, eh? What did I say wrong?” Chika asked the air as she laid back down on the bed, facing the ceiling as she waited for Dia to return

“Ah stupid Dia!” Dia berated herself as she sat on the toilet, thinking back about the short conversation

“But Chika’s ‘Dia-chan’ was nice to hear” Dia grinned sheepishly, as she imagined Chika calling her that all day when they are mar-

“Ah wait wait wait, don’t get your hopes too high Dia, what if she doesn’t like you?” Dia tried reasoning with her overreacting brain, but the blush on her cheeks remained 

Sighing to her cowardice on confessing, Dia returned to the room only to see her crush fast asleep

Smiling to herself, Dia lay next to Chika making her the little spoon, placing a tiny kiss on Chika’s forehead 

“Goodnight… I love you Chika-san” Dia whispered before falling asleep

But she did not notice Chika’s blush as she snuggled deeper into Dia’s embrace

“Dia likes me?” She wondered, soon drifting off into dreamland as she enjoyed Dia’s warmth

“Mama!” “Mama!” “Mama!”

Chika woke up hearing a few energetic voices next to the bed, rubbing her eyes she saw 3 bobbing heads calling out to her

“Good morning dears” Chika smiled as she gave kisses on Kanan, Yō and Mari’s foreheads

“Mama!” Mari squealed as she gave grabby hands, wanting Chika to carry her

“Eurgh” Dia groaned before turning away, trying to sleep 

“Come dears shall we go outside? Let Mama sleep in more” Chika quickly carried Mari and brought the rest outside for breakfast, not wanting to disturb Dia further

“Mama! Mam mam?” Kanan squealed as she hugged Chika’s leg

“Yes dear, mama is making mam mam now” Chika replied as she placed Mari on the counter, giving a kiss on Mari’s forehead before proceeding to make the milk for the girls

“Mam mam!” Mari squealed as she bit the corner of the stuffed star, covering it in drool

“Mama!” Yō tugged Chika’s shorts, pointing towards the counter wanting to sit on it with Mari

Obliging, Chika carried Yō and placed her on the counter next to Mari, giving a quick kiss before going back to making the milk

“Alright milk is ready! Come girls let's go to the dining area” Chika smiled as she took Mari and Yō off the counter and brought them to the room with Kanan before quickly walking back to grab the bottles of milk.

“Mama!” Mari waved the bottle of milk at Chika, who quickly placed her on her lap, feeding her, Kanan and Yō laid their heads on the pillows as they drank their milk

“I wonder if we have some matcha powder, I saw some people making that drink online, maybe Dia will like it” Chika thought to herself as she continued to feed Mari who hungrily drank up the milk

“Mama… sniff ” Chika turned to see a teary eyed Ruby as she looked at Chika

“Good morning dear, did you have a good rest?” Ruby sniffled as she snuggled her head into Chika’s leg

“Do you want to sleep next to onee chan?” Ruby’s eyes lit up as she nodded vigorously 

“Haha okay dear, after I feed Mari I will bring you to onee chan okay?” Ruby nodded before suckling on her pacifier, gently hugging the stuffed bear in her arms

“Mama… sniff” Ruby sniffled before crying out. Luckily for Chika, Mari was done drinking so she quickly placed Mari down and cuddled Ruby, patting her bum

“Dont worry dear, mama will put you in a fresh diaper okay” Chika gave a quick kiss on Ruby’s forehead before quickly bringing her to the changing table, placing Ruby in a fresh diaper before bringing her to Dia’s room

“Dia-san~” Chika whispered as she placed Ruby next to Dia, who quickly snuggled into Dia’s chest wanting her sister warmth and scent

“Hmrgh?” Dia groaned into her pillow

“I am placing Ruby next to you to sleep okay?” Chika blushed seeing Dia in a half awake state

“Hmmrgh sure” Dia groaned before turning back, subconsciously patting Ruby on the bum as she dozed back to sleep

“Man this is so cute, ima gonna take a video… absolutely not for blackmail”  Chika grinned devilishly as she took a short video of the two sisters before closing the door behind her

“Ugh” Dia groaned as her eyes were blinded by the sun creeping through a gap in her curtains

“What time is it” Dia wondered as she rubbed her eyes, stifling a yawn

“Oh it's 11 in the morning… ELEVEN!?!” Dia screamed in her head as she jumped out of bed, accidentally waking Ruby up

“WAH!” Ruby wailed as she was jolted awake by her sister's actions

“Ah sorry for waking you Ruby, don’t cry onee-chan is here” Dia hushed the little girl as she patted Ruby’s bum

After a while of patting, Ruby soon became sleepy but still clutched onto Dia’s shoulder for support. Dia walked out of the room, patting Ruby looking for some milk for her sister.

“Mama!” Yoshiko and Mari squealed while waddling/crawling away as Chika slowly chased them with a fresh diaper in hand

“Yoshiko and Mari-chan! Come back here, you need to change your diapers!” Chika giggled as she slowly chased them

“Gotcha!” Chika caught Yoshiko with a hug, who started to squirm trying to get out

Chika smiled triumphantly as she kissed Yoshiko on her forehead, quickly changing her diaper

“Done all clean baby” Chika placed Yoshiko on the ground, she gave two tiny shakes with her new diaper before crawling to play with Yo

“Now where is Mari” Chika wondered as she looked around the room for the blond girl

Chika crept slowly trying to find the blond girl, only to find her hiding under her blanket

“Booh! Gotcha!” Chika lifted up the blanket and carried Mari who squealed in enjoyment

“Alright all done!” Chika gave quick kisses on a squealing Mari’s forehead while changing her diaper. Carrying Mari out of the room after the quick change

“Do you want to play with Kanan-chan?” Chika asked Mari who thought for a while, before shaking her head clutching harder to Chika for cuddles

“I see, shall we find something to do then?” Chika sat down and placed Mari in her lap. Mari took the stuffed star and started to gnaw on the corner as she snuggled into Chika’s lap

As Chika gave a kiss on Mari’s forehead, her eyes caught Dia walking out of the room with a yawn, carrying a Ruby in her arms

“Morning Dia-san!” Chika greeted, waving Mari’s tiny hand at Dia who squealed in excitement.

“Good morning Chika-san, could you help me take care of Ruby for a while, while I prepare milk for her?” 

“Sure sure, come here dear” Chika raised her free arm to Ruby, Ruby looks at Chika’s arms and back at Dia’s, before snuggling back into Dia’s arms

“Haha, it's okay Dia-san I will go make the milk, Mari dear can you wait here for Mama?” Chika said as she placed Mari on the ground, Mari nodding her head before quietly playing with the stuffed star

“Mama~” Dia turned to see Riko tugging onto her pajamas pants

“Hi dear, did you sleep well?” Dia asked as she crouched down, patting Riko on her head, a quick nod to answer her question

“Ruby, do you want to play with Riko?” Dia asked as she gently stroked Ruby’s hair, the little girl thought for a while before nodding in response 

The two girls started to play with the stuffed bear, blabbering baby talk as they went into their own world

Dia kept an eye on Kanan, Yō, Yoshiko and Mari as she watched Ruby and Riko play together. Suddenly Riko stopped playing and started to whine as she waddled towards Dia

Sensing a dirty diaper, Dia quickly scooped a teary eyed Riko up, quickly comforting Ruby that they will be back soon. She rushed to the changing table and quickly changed Riko out of her dirty diaper 

“Mama? Bano?” Riko blabbered as she cuddled into Dia’s arms

“Bano?” Dia questioned 

“Bano!” Riko replied excitedly 

“Okay, let's eat first before you play with the bano okay?” Dia replied as she placed a soft kiss on Riko’s forehead who nodded excitedly in response 

“Bano bano!” Riko cheered as she bounced on Dia’s arm

“Riko dear you can play with the bano later okay?” Chika cheerfully replied as she gave Dia a bottle of milk, while supporting Ruby’s head with the other as she drank her bottle of milk. Mari snuggled into Chika’s leg as she continued to slobber over the stuffed star.

“Mam mam!” Riko cheered as she drank the bottle quickly

“Mama!” Kanan and Yo waddled towards Chika, dragging the stuffed dolphin with Yoshiko crawling behind them

“Yes, dears?” Chika replied as she gave a quick kiss on their foreheads

“Dolpin Mama Dolpin!” Kanan squealed as she showed Chika the stuffed dolphin

“That's cute dear, what is his name?” Kanan stared at Chika for a while, pondering for a while

“Dolpin?” Kanan questioned as she gave huge puppy eyes

“Yes dear I know it's a dolphin, but what is his name?” Chika gave a soft kiss on Kanan’s forehead as she thought more

“Mawi!” Kanan replied as she hugged the stuffed dolphin, Mari that was snuggling next to Chika’s leg woke up to the sound of her name

“So she is Mari the dolphin? Then what about Mari-chan here?” Chika replied as she patted Mari’s head who snuggled back in response

“Mawi! Mawi!” Kanan squealed as she pointed towards the dolphin and then went to hug the sleepy girl

“Mwa mwa?” Mari called out as she was muffled by Kanan’s hug, giggling Chika gently placed Ruby down on the ground as she was done with her milk

“Kanan dear, let go of Mari-chan okay?” Chika calmly patted the little girl to release her hug, Mari quickly snuggling back into her little comfortable position on Chika’s lap that Ruby left behind

“Mama!” Yō and Yoshiko squealed as they found their spots next to Chika’s legs snuggling in, Kanan not wanting to be left out joined in the little pile of toddlers 

Dia chuckled at the scene, Chika’s desperate eyes sending signals to help her. But all Dia did was stick out her tongue and take the empty bottle to the kitchen to wash, Chika whining in response to Dia’s actions 

“Mama?” Riko called out as she snuggled into Dia’s arms

“Yes dear?” 

“Bano?” Dia looked at Riko puzzled at what she is trying to say

“Dear how about you show me and Ruby where is the bano” Dia gently stroked Riko’s hair as she placed her on the ground, Riko quickly taking Ruby’s hand and Dia’s before pulling them before the piano

“Oh piano” Dia chuckled to herself, almost forgetting that Riko’s passion for the piano

“Mama, bano!” Riko pointed towards the piano, eyes glittering with excitement

“Sure dear, what do you want me to play?” Dia replied as she sat on the chair, tucking both Ruby and Riko onto her lap

“Sta sta?” Riko cocked her head curiously as she replied Dia

“Sta sta? Oh is it twinkle twinkle little star?” Dia replied as she patted Riko’s head who mewled in response

“Sta! Sta!” Riko replied as she bounced on Dia’s lap, hugging Ruby in the process

“Okay dearie” Dia replied with a tiny kiss and started to gently play the music score for twinkle twinkle little star, fingers gently pressing each key as she hummed

As Dia sang the last bit, she heard another voice harmonizing with her. Dia turned to see Chika carrying Mari along with Kanan, Yō and Yoshiko tottering behind her

“Mwa mwa” Mari mewled as she snuggled into Chika’s assets

“Rest well dear” Chika whispered as she gently patted Mari’s bum lulling her to sleep

“Mama? Hagu!” Kanan hugged Chika’s leg as she drooled over it

“Okay dearie, mama will give you lots of hugs later alright?” Chika replied as she patted Kanan’s head before returning to patting Mari

Kanan nuzzled into Chika’s hand for a while before hugging the plush dolphin before her.

“Mama bano bano!” Riko squealed as she tugged on Dia’s arms

“Riko dear, Mama needs to eat first okay?” Dia gently responded as she patted Riko’s head who started to tear in response

“No bano?” Riko sniffled as she tugged on Dia’s heartstrings using her powerful teary puppy eyes

“Okay mama will play more bano okay?” Dia sighed in defeat as she played another nursery rhyme on the piano, Riko squealing in delight and the others babbling along to the rhyme

Chuckling to herself, Chika brought Mari and placed her on Dia’s bed giving a soft kiss on her forehead before leaving her to sleep

As Chika was walking out, she heard Hanamaru weeping in the sleeping area for the girls. Walking in Chika quickly picked her up and started to gently pat her back

“Yes dear mama is here” Chika gently reassured as she patted Hanamaru’s back

“Mama” Hanamaru sobbed out as she clutched onto Chika’s arm. Feeling Hanamaru’s diaper, Chika quickly changed her into a fresh one before bringing her out for her meal

“Alright all clean dear, do you want mam mam?” Chika softly spoke as she nuzzled into Hanamaru’s plushy cheeks

“Mama mam mam!” Hanamaru got out of her sad state and became excited at the prospect of food. Chika giggled as she placed Hanamaru on the counter, giving a kiss before making her bottle of milk.

While the bottle of milk was heating up, Chika quickly made a cup of matcha latte and toast for Dia.

“Annddd alright done!” Chika smiled triumphantly as she looked at her finished matcha latte, the art of a heart adoring the top of the drink. Chika blushed at the thought of Dia drinking it, hoping she would get the message she is sending across.

“Mama mam mam!” Hanamaru squealed as she made grabby hands towards the bottle of milk

“Yes yes dear, hold on mama is going to feed you okay?” Chika gently smiled as she stroked Hanamaru’s hair who responded with a tiny mewl, before bringing Hanamaru out.

“Dia-san! I made snacks for you!” Chika called out excitedly as she placed the steaming hot matcha latte and toast onto the table

“Thank you Chika-san” Dia replied as she tickled Riko who squealed out in excitement 

“Alright Riko-dear mama is going to eat first okay?” Dia whispered as she gave a gentle kiss on Riko’s forehead

“Mama” Riko made grabby hands and Dia sighed softly as she patted Riko’s head

“Riko dear let mama eat first okay?” Dia gently spoke as she continued patting Riko’s head

“Come Riko dear” Chika stretched her free hand out, while the other was supporting Hanamaru

Riko looked at Dia and Chika back and forth, before toddling over to Chika who sat down to pat Riko’s head.

“Ruby, go join Riko and Chika-san alright?” Dia gently pushed her little sister, who hesitated for a second before crawling over to play with Riko

Dia walked to the table to see what Chika had prepared, her heart skipped seeing the heart shape on the foam, her cheeks heating up rapidly.

"Nah I think I am thinking too much into it, maybe its easier to draw it this way" A flushed Dia scolded herself as she took a sip and savoured the bitter taste of matcha which was quickly washed away by the milk.

“Mama~” Dia turned to see Yo tugging on her pants, her small hand clutching onto Yoshiko’s

“Yes, dears?” Dia gave a tiny pat and kiss onto their foreheads before taking another bite and sip of toast and latte

“Mam mam?” Yō cutely placed a finger on the corner of her lips wanting some of the toast

“Here dear” Dia plucked off a piece of toast for Yō to munch on. As she was about to pluck another piece for Yoshiko, Yō took her piece and stared at it for a second, before breaking it and passing half to Yoshiko who quickly munched on hers

“Dears! I have some mam mams!” Chika’s cheerful voice perked up the trio that were munching away on toast, Yō and Yoshiko quickly crawled/waddled into the pile of toddlers that were munching away on baby biscuits 

“Be good, okay? Mama will make lunch for everyone” Chika said as she patted the girls heads before quickly leaving the room to prepare for lunch. The girls quietly munching away at the biscuit in their hands

After finishing her snack, Dia did a quick check on the diapers, before putting her dirty dishes into the sink, Chika humming a CYaRon song as she stirred the pot

“Chika-san thank you for the snack, the matcha latte was better than I thought” Dia spoke up as she washed the dishes

“Ah that is nice to hear, it was the first time I am making it… Oh Dia-san, can you pass me the potatoes?” Chika replied as she stirred the ingredients into the stew

The two stood in the kitchen in awkward silence for a while until Chika spoke up

“D-dia-san can I ask you something?” Chika hesitantly asked

“Sure” Dia replied, her heart beating faster

“About last night…” With each word, Dia started to sweat bullets, hoping Chika did not hear what she said last night

“Yea?”

“Do yo-… 'WAHH'... Dia-san could you help watch the pot, I think Mari woke up” Chika’s word was cut off by cries from Dia’s bedroom, Chika quickly got Dia to take over pot and rushed to comfort Mari

“I wonder what Chika wanted to say… Oh it looks like the stew is done” Dia muttered as she closed the lid on the pot to let it simmer

After the stew finished simmering, Dia scooped out some meat, potatoes and carrots and cut them up into bite sized pieces for the girls to eat. As she was preparing lunch, Chika walked back into the kitchen cuddling Mari in her arms

“Mama, mam mam?” Mari whined as she snuggled into Chika’s arm

“Mari dear, do you want to try a little bit?” Dia softly asked as she scooped a little bit of potatoes and chicken. Mari looked towards the spoon and back at Chika who gently encouraged her to try, Mari’s eyes lighted up as she enjoyed the soft bite sized meat

“Chika-san, could you help prepare the girls for lunch? I will prepare their food” Dia asked as she gave a tiny kiss on Mari’s forehead who giggled in return

“Sure thing!” Chika gave a tiny salute with her free arm and quickly walked out

Dia walked out of the kitchen with lukewarm bowls of stew and placed it on the makeshift table as she heard noises of Chika wrangling the kids 

“Girls time for mam mam!” Chika called out as she placed Mari on her cushion, the other girls tottering over from the play room 

“Mama mama! Pway pway!” Yō cheered as she tugged on Chika’s arm

“Yes dear hold on, let mama finish washing first okay?” Chika smiled as she patted Yō’s head before washing the last bowl and hanging it to dry. The little girl nodded quickly as she hugged Chika’s leg, hopping around to try and rush Chika

“Come here dearie!” Chika scooped Yō up with her dry hands and peppered kisses on Yō’s forehead who squealed in laughter with each kiss

“So what do you want to play dear?” Chika softly asked as she nuzzled Yo’s cheek, carrying the girl out of the kitchen to join the other girls

“Mama~ mam mam?” Chika came into the playroom to see Dia trying to hide her precious pudding cup away as the little girls crowded her wanting a taste of the sweet dessert

“Dears, this is mama’s one, I will later go buy some for all of you okay?” Dia’s shaky words tried to reason with the girls, but each one started to have teary eyes as they asked for the pudding again. Feeling lost, Dia’s frantic eyes looked towards Chika who was standing in the doorway grinning at the situation

“Please Chika, please help me!” Dia silently mouth towards the mikan who was smirking devilishly

“Nope~” Chika mouthed back, as Yo sat quietly in her arm sucking on her thumb looking at both Mamas’ silent conversation

“Please?” Dia mouthed back

“Noopee” Chika stuck her tongue out as a response

“Please I will do anything” Dia begged

“Sure?” Chika’s smirk became wider as she wiggled her eyebrows

“Yes please, it is my last precious pudding” Dia begged even harder, as her eyes noticed Chika picking up the box of baby biscuits

“Dears! Mama got mam mam here!” Chika called out, shaking the box of biscuits in her hands. This trigger a tiny toddler stampede towards Chika, all asking for biscuits

“Everyone sit down first or no mam mam!” Chika commanded as the girls quickly sat down, placing Yō on the ground Chika gave one biscuit and a kiss on the forehead to each girl

Giving a sigh of relief, Dia went back to quickly finishing up her pudding, so that the same incident would not repeat again

“Dia-san~” Chika’s cheery voice gave Dia slight chills, as it sounds like that one annoying blond whenever she has some form of blackmail against her

“Ye-yes Chika-san?” Dia stammered, hoping Chika’s request will be simple

“Let's bring the girls to the playground! We cannot coop the girls up at home any longer” Chika beamed brightly as she gently patted in Riko’s head who looked up at her with her mouth stuffed with biscuits

“S-sure, phew, I am glad it was something simple” Dia sighed in relief as Chika cocked her head in confusion at Dia’s reaction

“Okie! I will get the girls ready after their snacks, help to prepare the necessities” Chika skipped away happily, Dia’s heart leaping in joy at the ‘mini date’ they were going to have

“Diapers check, pacifiers check, mini first aid kit check, picnic mat, water bottles… Am I missing anything else?” Dia mumbled as she rummaged through the bag making sure they have everything

“Dia-san are you ready?” Chika called out

“Almost, is there anything else I should bring?” Dia answered as she placed wet wipes into the bag

“Hmm some baby powder and biscuits will be good” Chika looked over and pointed out to the missing items, Dia quickly packing it into the bag

Packing the things up, Dia felt two girls hugging onto her leg, seeing Riko and Ruby both wearing matching pink dresses with bloomers and their hair tied into pigtails.

Dia patted both girls on the head, as she saw Chika walking out with the rest of the girls, Yo and Yoshiko wearing matching blue with white stripes onesie with overalls. Kanan appeared with a sea green dolphin t-shirt and overalls, Mari in a mini purple dress and Hanamaru in a yellow flower shirt and bloomers

“Dia-san we are ready, right girls!” Chika exclaimed which got tiny cheers from the girls

Chuckling to herself, Dia led the way to the playground near the Kurosawa estate as they walked enjoying the breeze.

“Boshiko!” Yō squealed as she ran around the empty playground, dragging Yoshiko with her

Kanan, Mari and Hanamaru were busy making tiny sand mounds around them, scooping the sand and letting it fall through their hands

“Mama!” Chika saw Riko and Ruby pointing towards the rocking horse and wanted to ride it. Chuckling to herself, Chika scooped both of them up and brought them over, securing them tightly in her embrace as she gently rocked on the horse

“Mama!” Dia chuckled as she saw Yō run up to her with a tiny flower in her hand

“Thank you dear” Dia gave a tiny pat on Yō’s head as the little girl giggled and ran back to play with Yoshiko

“Mama!” Kanan giggled as she put a tiny pebble into Dia’s hand, giving a tiny pat on the head Kanan tottered back to playing with Mari and Hanamaru

“Dia-san! Come and join us!” Dia twirled her head to see Chika pushing the girls one by one on the swing, each squealing in delight

Dia just smiled as she returned to reading the tiny book in her hand, keeping an eye out for the other girls

“Mama mama!”

“Yo-chan be careful!” Chika’s words were lost as a loud bonk followed by a sharp cry sounded. Dia quickly closed her book and rushed over to comfort Yo, gently patting her head while hugging her

Dia quickly brought Yo back to the bench as she patted the girl, kissing her boo boo as she comforted her. 

As Dia was comforting Yo, she noticed Chika taking care of Yoshiko who was riled up by Yo’s cries, comforting her with Ruby and Riko

After a while of patting, Yo’s cries soon turned into tiny sniffles as she snuggled into Dia’s arms for more comfort.

“Dear, do you want some water?” Yo gave a tiny nod as she made grabby hands towards the sippy cup from Dia’s hand

“Drink slowly okay?” Dia softly said as she supported the cup as Yo drank from it

“Yo-chan, are you feeling better?” Chika asked softly as she gently patted Yo’s head while carrying Yoshiko in her other arm, the little girl nodded as she snuggled into Chika’s hand and continue drinking from the cup

“Bo-cwan!” Yoshiko squealed out as she made grabby hands towards her friend, Yo quickly passed Dia back the cup and got Dia to place her back on the ground. Yoshiko quickly grabbed Yo’s hand and brought her over to join the girls in making a mountain of sand

Dia gave a sigh of relief that Yo is much better, her body relaxed as she leaned back onto the bench, but quickly tensed up when Chika sat next to her. The pair turned their heads away with a blush as their hands scraped past each other, both giving their apologies before returning to watching the girls in silence.

They sat in silence for another 30 minutes, the laughter of the little Aqours filling the playground.

“D-dia-san…” Chika suddenly broke the silence, but the words were caught in her throat

"I just need to confess! Why is it so difficult?" Chika scolded herself as she tried to force the words out

“Yes Chika-san?” Dia’s voice sounded like honey which gently soothed Chika’s rampaging mind

“Mama!” the two’s moment was interrupted by Ruby and Riko standing before them, arms wide open wanting cuddles

“Come here dear” Chika took Riko into her arm and cuddled her, the little redhead yawning in bliss as she snuggled into Chika’s embrace

“Dia-san maybe we should head back already the girls seem tired” Chika suggested as she placed a pacifier in Riko’s mouth before patting her gently

“Maybe we should, Hanamaru looks exhausted too” Dia replied as she called out to the girls to come back and wipe their hands so that they can head back home already

“Mwa mwa…” Mari yawned as she snuggled into Chika’s arms

“Sleep tight dear” Chika whispered as she patted Mari’s bum, lulling her into dreamland

After a while Mari fell asleep, Chika tucked her into her blanket and placed a pacifier into her mouth, tucking the star into her arm as she patted her more

“Mama…” Chika felt a tiny tug and saw Kanan looking at her with puppy eyes wanting to be cuddled and patted to sleep

“Come here dear” Chika carried Kanan and walked in circles slowly as she patted the little girl gently

Soon Kanan dozed off into dreamland, Chika placed a pacifier into her mouth as she continued to pat Kanan. Gently, Chika placed Kanan next to Mari before tucking her into the blanket.

After making sure everyone is tucked in, Chika gave quick tiny kisses on their foreheads

Closing the door slightly, Chika walked back into their shared room, seeing the raven haired girl fast asleep already. Sitting on the chair at Dia's desk, she scrolled through potential places to bring Dia on a 'date' with the girls.

"Ah the aquarium looks like a good place! The girls will love it and hopefully I can confess to Dia there"  Chika blushed as she bookmarked the place on her phone, before turning off the light and sitting on the side of the bed.

Gently stroking Dia’s smooth hair, Chika gave a kiss on Dia’s forehead and whispered a goodnight as she tucked herself in and dozed off into dreamland. 

Chapter Text

“Yawn” Dia’s eyes blinked open, as she slowly woke up, cracking her body

“Ah I must have dozed off waiting for Chika” Dia thought to herself as she noticed an addition on their shared bed. Mari curled up into a ball, sucking on her pacifier as she snuggled into Chika’s chest fast asleep, the latter’s arm wrapped around her, making the little girl feel secure

“Chika looks so peaceful whenever she sleeps, Mari must have woken up in the middle of the night” Dia mused to herself, blushing at the thought of waking up to this face every day

“Kanan and Yō should be waking up soon, need get the milk ready first then start on breakfast for us” Dia yawned as she stretched her arms, quietly getting out of bed to freshen herself

Dia hummed Koi ni naritai as she prepared two bottles of milk for Yo and Kanan, thinking about what to cook for breakfast at the same time.

“Mwa mwa~” Yo yawned as she dragged her stuffed ship on the floor, hands outstretched asking Dia for huggies

“Good morning Yo-chan, how was your rest?” Dia whispered as she hugged and carried the grey haired girl who snuggled into her arms in response. With a tiny yawn, Yō drifted back to sleep in Dia’s embrace 

Giggling at Yō’s cuteness, Dia walked back into the nap room and placed her in the futon next to Yoshiko who was sucking on the fin of her stuffed shark, tucking in the stuffed ship between them. “Sweet dreams dear” Dia whispered as she gave a kiss on Yō’s forehead.

“Mama… Hagu!” Kanan with bright sparkly eyes stretched out her arms for hugs which Dia gladly gave

“Good morning dear, do you want mam mam?” Kanan nodded her head quickly as she started to babble mam mam over and over again

Dia smiled as she took a bottle of warm milk and fed Kanan who slowly enjoyed her meal. 

“Lets see, I have eggs, sausage, salad… oh some milk and flour… Ah, let's make pancakes! The girls will love them too” Dia hummed as she laid out the ingredients on the counter, placing her phone on the side as she cross checked the ingredients to the recipe

As Dia weighed the flour on a scale, she heard sobbing from the kids room, quickly washing her hands she rushed over to see Ruby tearing up in her rabbit onesie

“Nwe-cwan” Ruby sobbed out as she reached her hands out for Dia

“There there, nee-chan will change your diaper alright?” Dia whispered as she walked to the changing table and quickly changed Ruby out of her dirty one.

“Onee-chan is making some snacks, do you want to stay with onee-chan and drink your milk or stay with Kanan-chan?” Dia gently asked as she patted Ruby’s head, in response Ruby clutched Dia’s arm tighter wanting to stay near her

“Okay hold on okay, onee-chan will make the milk now” Dia gave a tiny kiss onto Ruby’s forehead before warming up another bottle of milk. Kanan crawled over blabbering some words, wanting to accompany Ruby as she drank from her bottle of milk

Taking the mixing bowl to the counter, Dia watched over Ruby and Kanan as she started mixing the batter adding each ingredient one by one until the mixture turns smooth and velvety 

“Perfect” Dia smiled to herself at her own handiwork, covering the bowl with cling wrap before placing it into the fridge to cook later

“Oh no… There is no more maple syrup” Dia sighed to herself as she opened the cupboards looking for it

“Maybe I can do a quick trip to the family mart nearby” Dia said as she quickly changed clothes, seeing Ruby and Kanan playing around on the floor made her double back

“Ruby, Kanan-chan do you want to follow me to buy some stuff?” Ruby looked towards her teddy bear for a while before making grabby hands wanting to follow Dia, but Kanan shook her head in response continuing to play with her stuffed dolphin

“Okay let's get your changed first” Dia whispered as she quickly changed Ruby into a white dress with a mini sunhat and tied her hair into mini twintails

“Kanan-chan if you need anything just wake mama up okay?” Dia gently patted Kanan’s head who nuzzled and nodded in response

Clutching Ruby’s tiny hand, both sisters made their way towards the family mart

“Ruby, stay close to me okay?” Dia whispered as she grabbed a shopping basket, gently tugging Ruby down the aisle with her

“Maple syrup, maple syrup” Dia muttered as she scrolled through the bottles of syrups before her

“Ah! Found it!” Dia silently cheered as she placed two bottles of syrup into the basket

“Okay, Ruby le- Ruby?! Where did you go?!” Dia panicked as her baby sister wasn’t next to her, quickly turning back, Dia found Ruby looking at the sweets section

“Nwe-cwan!” Ruby eyes sparkled as she pointed towards a pack of gummy bears

Heaving a sigh of relief, Dia smiled as she walked over gently tugging Ruby away

“Onee-chan will let you eat something better, okay? No sweets until you are older” Dia’s heart sank seeing Ruby’s dejected smile but the little girl perked up hearing ‘something better’ 

After buying some fruits and ingredients for dinner, the two head back quickly

“We are back” Dia softly said, not wanting to wake up the other girls

“Mama!” Kanan toddled over with a barely awake Yō and Yoshiko crawling behind her, latching onto Dia’s leg for a hug

“Yō-chan, Yoshiko-chan, do you want mam mam now?” Dia asked as she patted Kanan’s head and gave kisses on Ruby, Kanan, Yō and Yoshiko’s heads

“Maybe it is time to start making the pancakes” Dia thought to herself as she prepared Yō and Yoshiko’s bottles of milk

Humming a CYaRon song, Dia heated a pan and lightly buttered it before stirring the mixture, making sure it was nice and smooth.

After the pan was slightly hot, Dia poured a ladle full in, spreading the batter evenly on the pan letting the batter bubble up before flipping

“Mama!” Dia turned to see Yō making grabby hands, while Yoshiko stood next to her sucking on her thumb

Smiling at the little girl, Dia hoisted up and secured her in her arm while her free one continued to use the spatula to check if its cooked properly on one side

“Mam mam?” Yō curiously asked as she pointed towards the pan

“Yes dear, mama is making some mam mam for all of you” Yō’s azure eyes sparkled in excitement as she bounced in Dia’s arm babbling ‘mam mam’ over and over again 

Yō’s excitement sparkled Yoshiko’s curiosity who started to tug on Dia’s jeans wanting to see what was the excitement about

Placing Yō on the counter, Dia carried Yoshiko in her arms who quickly pointed at the pancakes

“Buubles!” Yoshiko exclaimed as she pointed at the bubbles forming in the batter as it is cooked 

“Yes dear it is bubbles, go and play with Yō-chan first okay?” Yoshiko nodded as she squirmed to get out of Dia’s arms to go and play. Dia quickly placed Yoshiko followed by Yō who quickly took Yoshiko’s hand and waddled out of the kitchen

Giggling to herself, Dia continued to flip more pancakes one by one, putting it on a wire rack to cool before making the next one

“Mmm, something smells good!” A chirpy voice made Dia’s smile even wider as she turned to see the owner of that voice

Chika was smiling brightly as she carried Mari in her arms, sucking on her thumb as she looked towards Dia with her golden orbs, interested in what Dia was cooking

“I am making pancakes for all of us, I went to the store earlier to buy some stuff” Dia replied as she beckoned Mari and Chika to come closer and placed a tiny kiss on Mari’s forehead. The little girl squealed in surprise as she hid in Chika’s arms in response causing both girls to laugh in return

“Do you need any help?” Chika smiled as she gently stroked Mari’s head who nuzzled back in response

“I am good, go play with the girls, I should be done in about 20 minutes” Dia replied as she went to cut some fruits to go with the pancakes

“Okie! Hmm, by the way should we bring the girls to an aquarium today? I really want to see the jellyfish! Right Mari-chan?” Chika prodded Mari’s chubby cheeks as the little girl squealed out “Fwishy fwishy!” In response

Barely holding on to any sense of reason to just jumping forward and kissing Chika, which Dia quickly stomped down that thought in her head

“Pure thoughts Dia, pure thoughts” Dia took deep breaths before replying, but her blush still visible

“Sure, I think the girls will love the aquarium, okay go and play with the girls, I will call for you once the pancakes are ready” Dia shooed both Chika and Mari out, so that she can prevent them from seeing her combust 

“Girls breakfast is ready!” Dia called out as she finished making the mini pancakes for the smaller ones

“Coming!” Chika replied as the girls was squealing in excitement, bouncing over the place as Chika got them to sit down

Placing down star and heart shaped pancakes in plastic plates for the little ones, the girls all awake as they slowly ate the fluffy pancakes

“Here dear, open wide” Dia said as she fed Ruby, Yō followed by Riko small pieces of pancake, the girls having wide smiles as they enjoyed the snack

“Mam mam!” Hanamaru squealed as she took the cut up bits of pancakes and stuffed it into her mouth

“Slow down dear, this bowl is for you” Chika smiled as she patted Hanamaru’s head while feeding Mari and Yoshiko, Kanan sat on her cushion quietly eating her pancakes

After the girls are stuffed and happy, Dia and Chika let the girls play around as they started on their breakfast

“Mama!” Mari gave grabby hands towards Chika

“Dear, later mama will cuddle you alright? Mama is eating now” Chika softly spoke as she patted Mari’s head, but the little girl looked towards Chika with puppy eyes which caused Chika to cave in

“Alright dear” Chika gave a kiss onto Mari’s forehead as she secured her in her arms while she tried to eat her pancakes

“Chika-san do you need help?” Dia spoke out, watching the situation quietly as she placed down her knife and fork

“Sure, thanks Dia-san!” Chika beamed brightly as she quickly tended to Mari who was squirming in Chika’s arms

“Here” Dia blushed as she cut a piece of Chika’s pancake and offered it to the mikan to eat

Wanting to take the fork from Dia, Chika reached out but Dia pulled back, offering to feed her with tiny blush on her cheeks while Mari looked on quietly sucking on her thumb 

Giving in, Chika opened her mouth as she ate off Dia’s fork, her eyes widening as she savoured the fluffy pancakes

“Mmm so good” Chika praised as she gently patted Mari’s head, placing kisses on the girl’s scalp as she cuddled the little girl

“Mawi!” Kanan squealed out as she tapped on Chika’s arm

“Mari dear, do you want to play with Kanan-chan?” Chika gently encouraged Mari who was looking at her comfy place on Chika’s lap to Kanan back and forth, before asking to be let down

Once down on the floor, the two girls toddled over to the stuffed dolphin and started playing with it

Dia and Chika shared a laugh over the sight as they continued eating their breakfast in relative silence, watching the girls squeal joyfully as they ran around

“Chika-san are you ready?” Dia called out as she scanned through the diaper bag, making sure there were extra diapers, pacifiers  

“Mama!” A dolled up Riko in a pink dress with a star in the middle toddled towards Dia, her hair tied up into twintails with a ribbon tied at the end, Ruby toddling behind her with the same hairstyle and dress but with a flower in the middle

“Both of you look soo cute!” Dia praised as she patted Riko’s head and planted a small kiss on her forehead and Ruby’s 

Moments later, a scream tore the peaceful atmosphere 

“NO NO, DON WAN!!!” The scream startled Ruby and Riko who quickly clutched to Dia’s jeans for comfort, trembling with tears bearing at the side of their eyes

“Chika-san is everything alright?” Dia called out as she carried Ruby in her arm, patting her bum while trying to use her other to pat Riko’s head gently

“DON WAN!” another scream and Yoshiko came running out clad in only a diaper while being chased by Chika who was holding a hair tie wanting to tie her hair

“Yoshiko-chan! Don't run later you will bump into something!” Chika shouted as she chased Yoshiko, finally cornering the girl and quickly scooping her up

“Gotcha!” Chika victoriously carried Yoshiko back to the room to wear her clothes

“Sorry Ruby-chan, Riko-chan” Chika wrly chuckled as she brought a pouting Yoshiko to the room

“Dears, I will go check on the others alright? Sit here and be good girls” Dia whispered, handing over the stuffed white rabbit which the two girls nodded before playing with the stuffie.

Rushing over, Dia went into the room to see almost chaos unfolding. In one corner Kanan and Mari were squealing in laughter as they babbled, Hanamaru sitting down reading a picture book, Yō rolling around on the bed and Chika wrangling Yoshiko to tie her hair

“Dia-san please help me with the others!” Chika pleaded as she quickly tied Yoshiko’s hair into her signature bun while the little girl squirmed around in her grasp

Dia nodded as she quickly changed Kanan into a sea green shirt with overalls, Mari into a star print purple shirt with matching bloomers and Hanamaru into a yellow flower shirt with a yellow skirt.

It took Chika a while to finally get Yoshiko to stop squirming, by giving her the stuffed shark which the little girl quickly mumbled as she hugged the stuffie, Chika quickly taking that chance to tie Yoshiko’s hair into her signature bun

“All done!” Chika heaved a sigh of relief as she dressed Yoshiko quickly in a mini gothic dress, turning to dress Yō up in a two piece blue shirt with a skirt, a ribbon tied around her waist

Chika brought Yō and Yoshiko out to join the others before quickly heading back in to change her attire

<15 mins later>

“Tadaa! Dia-san, how do I look?” Chika popped out of the room wearing a beige long sleeve blouse with a patterned pinafore dress over it

“You look a-amazing” Dia stuttered as she tried to hide her blush by busying herself with Riko and Ruby

“Hehe thanks~ I saw this outfit at the mall the other day, it looks cute right!” Chika giggled as she did a few mini spins to show Dia her outfit for the day

“Y-yes the outfit is cute… Absolutely not because you are the cutest wearing anything, heck you will be cute no matter what you wear” Dia mumbled towards the end as she tried to change the topic

“Okay shall we go to the aquarium?!” Dia cheered as the girls all cheered in unison, excited to see the fishes and the date for the two older girls

“Here we aree!!” Chika cheered as she lowered the girls from the car one by one, the girls squealing in excitement seeing the dolphin statue by the entrance

“Mama mama! Dolpin Dolpinnn!!” Kanan squealed as she excitedly tugged Dia’s arm

“Yes dear, we will see the dolphins later okay?” Dia smiled gently as she patted a now hopping Kanan

“Nwe cwan?” Ruby tugged Dia’s cardigan with arms outstretched, asking to be carried

“Okay, come here Ruby” Dia quickly scooped up Ruby, holding Kanan’s hand and brought them to join the rest of the group who were excitedly hopping around wanting to see the fishes

“Alright! I got the tickets, let's go!” Chika grinned widely as the group of nine went in to see the aquarium 

“Look here girls, these are jellyfish! Mama’s favourite fishie to see!” Chika excitedly pointed out to the translucent plastic like creatures floating around gently, each girl’s eyes widened in excitement as they watched the jellyfish swim past the glass box

“Fishy!!” Hanamaru squealed as she pointed towards another tank of fish, seeing tropic fish swimming freely in their tank

As the group continued their journey through the aquarium, Dia and Chika did not notice two girls wandering off from the group

“Bo-cwan!” Yoshiko mumbled as she tugged the ashen haired toddler along with her as they explored the tanks nearby, clutching onto her shark as she tried to look for the sharks

“Boshiko, Mama?” Yō curiously questioned as she followed next to the little fallen angel

“Bo-Cwan fishy fishy!!” The two toddler wandered into a tunnel where the roof is transparent, the fishes swimming above them, making them both mesmerised by the sight, walking down the tunnel as they followed the fishes

“Mama! Fi- Ma… ma?” Both toddlers squealed for a second for Chika or Dia but turned to see that they were not there

“Ma ma? Ma ma?” Both toddlers muttered as they hugged the stuffed shark hard, hoping that Chika or Dia will hear them, starting to tear as their tiny eyes darted around hoping to find Chika and Dia

“Wahhh! Mama!!!!” Both of them started crying in unison as they hugged each other, the stuffed shark squished between them

On the other side of the aquarium 

“Wait, where are Yō and Yoshiko-chan?!”  Dia looked to Chika who was as puzzled as she was

“Oh no! I'll go back to look for them! Take care of the girls!” Chika shouted back as she rushed back, calling out for the two girls as she retraced their steps

Both girls continued to cry as they hugged each other, until a pair walked up to them, one of them walking away to get something 

“Little girls are you alright? Where are your parents?” A golden haired girl who had her hair tied up in a high ponytail, crouched down to the toddler’s eye level, gently speaking as she tried to get some information about their parents

Both girls looked towards the lady before continuing to cry

“Eh! Uh uhhhh” The blond visibly flustered as she tried to calm the toddlers down

“Eli-chan, did you make it worse?” A blue haired girl walked up to them, holding two dolphin shaped juice boxes with a straw and offered them to the toddlers, Eli pouting in return at Umi’s comment

“Here, drink a little first and let's find your Mama later okay?” The blue haired girl softly spoke as she gently gave the girls, who looked warily at first before accepting it, drinking bit by bit

“Umiii don’t bully me, I tried to get them to tell me who their parents is so we could find them” Eli pouted as she used her handkerchief to wipe the tears off Yo and Yoshiko’s puffy eyes

“Come girls, let Nee-chan bring you to find your Mama” Umi offered a hand which Yo and Yoshiko hesitantly took after a good 1 minute of looking at it, Yoshiko clutching hard to the stuffie as she took Umi’s hand

After a while of walking, the group saw the information counter and a hysteric looking orange haired girl talking to the counter staff

“Wait… That looks like-” Eli was cut off as the two toddlers cried out

“Mama!!” Yo and Yoshiko ran as fast as their tiny legs could, to Chika who quickly turned around to the sound of that voice, her eyes brimming with tears

“Yo, Yoshiko!” Chika knelt down teary eyed, as she caught the two girls in a hug, the toddlers crying into Chika’s arms, as she gently whispered words of affection and love to them

“Mama!” Both toddlers sobbed out loud as the trio captured the hearts of those who was watching that scene which almost looked like it came out of a drama series

“There there dear, Mama is here… I am so glad you are both safe” Chika softly whispered as she continued to pat the back of Yoshiko and Yo’s head gently, planting soft kisses on their head

“Did both of you manage to come here on your own?” Chika asked as she wiped Yoshiko’s tears away

“ Sniff , nwe cwan” Yo sniffed as she pointed towards Eli and Umi who were hovering around, unsure of what to say at the scene

“Thank yo-... O My Gosh, are you Sonoda Umi and Eli Ayase from µ?!” Chika’s inner fangirl almost squealed out seeing her idols in front of her, Umi breaking out into a deep blush as she turned away while Eli chuckled in response

“Yep and you must be Takami Chika from Aqours right?” Eli chuckled at Chika’s fangirling coming out, nodding at Eli’s question vigorously

“Shall we move to a quieter area? It seems we are getting a crowd” Umi whispered as she tugged her wife away, motioning for Chika to follow along

“Ah, wait I need to change these two diapers first, it seemed like they messed themselves up, could you hold on for a bit? I want to buy both of you drinks” Chika quickly carried the toddlers away to change their diapers quickly

“Sure we will wait for you” Eli chuckled as she saw the disappearing orange head

“This brings me back, she almost looks like a copy of Honoka” Umi laughed at the nostalgia of seeing Honoka being excited about almost everything

“We should meet up with the others some time soon” Eli mused as she gently held Umi’s hand

“Yes we should” Umi blushed as she hid her face from Eli

“Alright sorry for the wait, ah let me message Dia first” Chika muttered as she whipped out her phone, quickly sending a message to the raven haired girl

“Mama~” Yoshiko gave grabby hands wanting to be carried which Chika gladly gave, giving a tiny kiss to Yoshiko’s forehead as the little girl got comfortable in her arm, Chika’s other hand clutching to Yo’s

The trio chatted as they got to know each other better, making their way to a quiet spot in the aquarium where Dia is waiting

“Yoshiko, Yo-chan” Dia called out as she rushed over, gently placing kisses on Yoshiko and Yo’s forehead

“Please don’t run off like that ever again both of you, but I am glad both of you are fine” Dia’s soft emerald orbs looked at the two toddlers, patting both of their heads which both nuzzled into

“Come here, go play with the others” Dia hoisted Yoshiko out of Chika’s arm and gently placed her on the ground, bringing both girls to the mini playground next to the food stall, where the others were playing at

“Ayase-san, Sonoda-san come let me buy you a drink” Chika smiled as she brought the couple to a table, where they are able to keep an eye on the girls

“Chika-san who ar-... E-Eli A-ayase?!” Dia stammered as she froze, seeing her childhood idol standing awkwardly around her, scratching her cheek

“Y-yea, you must be Kurosawa Dia right, nice to meet you” Eli greeted as she saw Dia hyperventilating while taking many bows

“I-its a p-pleasure to meet you!” Dia stammered in return as Chika and Umi giggled in the background at that exchange

“P-please don't bow your head, but I am glad to see we still have fans even after we disbanded 6 years back” Eli felt a wave of nostalgia seeing two aspiring idols in front of her

“Okay shall we get some food and drinks? I am hungry” Chika broke the mood with a single clap from her hands

“Wait so you're saying that these toddlers are not your kids but Aqours?!” Umi and Eli exclaimed as Dia and Chika explained to them their weird circumstance of becoming ‘parents’ at a young age

“Yep! But it is an interesting experience taking care of these cuties” Chika smiled as she looked to the side watching the girls play around, casually sipping on her drink as she did so.

“Mama!” Mari squealed out as she waddled towards Chika

“Yes dear?” Chika replied as Mari tugged on her hand

“Pway pway!” Mari squealed as she tugged Chika towards the mini playground to play with the girls

Dia felt her heart beat faster, seeing Chika in a very motherly light, Dia let out a tiny sigh as she watched the cute orange head run around with the girls. Umi raised her eyebrow at Dia’s actions, gently nudging her wife, typing in her phone notes and showing her

[I think Dia loves Chika]

“Are you sure?” Eli whispered, being the dense ball she is did not see Dia pining for the mikan head, making Umi facepalm herself

[Yes she does you dunce] Umi’s reply got a big pout on Eli’s face in return

'Bzzt bzzt bzzt' the buzzer on their table suddenly sounded, which meant their food was ready to be collected.

“I'll get it” Eli stood up, the buzzer in her hand as she went to grab the food

Umi turned back to see a lovesick Dia still watching Chika’s movement with eyes filled with longing for the mikan head

“Chika-san seems like an amazing girl” Umi muttered

“Yea she is amazing all the time” Dia replied subconsciously 

“Dia-san… do you love her?” Umi tested as she took another sip of her iced tea

“Yea, I love he~ wait what am I saying?!” Dia quickly covered her mouth, her face bursting out a deep shade of red 

“You are a lot more obvious than you think” Umi replied as she stirred her drink, Dia turning an even deeper shade of red

“It's alright, I won’t say anything to her” Umi added on, taking a sip of her drink while Dia looked aimlessly at her cup of now cold matcha

“What did I miss?” Eli spoke behind Dia, making the ravenette jump in surprise

“Nothing much” Umi replied, Dia nodding quickly and stirring her cup more

“Sureee… What is on your mind Dia-san?” Eli not accepting that answer, sat down next to Dia crunching on a mozzarella stick while probing Dia 

Dia stayed quiet for a while, which made Umi give Eli a glare which the blond avoided entirely

“I-is it weird?” Dia muttered, catching the couple’s attention

“What is weird?” Eli replied curiously 

“Although I really want to confess to Chika-san, there are so many doubts I have. What if our parents don’t like our relationship and tear us apart, what if Chika rejects me, will it affect the group? What if someone in the group leaves if we get together… What if? I really am a coward” Dia stammered as she listed down her worries, her eyes almost brimming with tears

As Dia’s eyes became watery, she felt a hand clasp over hers, looking up to see her idol calming her down 

“Calm down okay?” Eli reassured Dia who started to wipe her tears away

After Dia calmed down, she took a few sips of her tea to calm her erratically beating heart

“I think you are both a good match, it is almost like Umi and I, almost different sides of the coin but we made it work” Eli spoke, her hands gently lacing with a blushed Umi

“Also about Aqours being affected, I don't think you will fall apart easily, with what the group has been through” Umi added on catching Dia’s attention 

“You watched our lives?” Dia inquired 

“Yep, Honoka introduced us to your group, from what I have seen, you are all closer than you think, that's why I feel that Aqours will not collapse because of this” Umi replied as she took another sip of her tea, Dia sat there quietly as she processed the information 

“If you are worried about your parents cutting ties, well we managed to convince Umi’s parents who are very old fashioned, I don’t see why it is not possible if you have not tried” Eli said with a slight laugh reminiscing the many times she has begged over and over again to let her marry Umi, only for Umi’s parents eventually to give into Eli’s determination 

“Dia-san as someone who has been in your shoes, take the first step, without it you will never know where it will take you” Eli ended off with a nod, letting Dia digest the information and facts slowly

“Do you think I can do it?” Dia muttered as she fiddled with her cup

Eli and Umi looked towards each other and then to Dia, giving her a nod of affirmation

“Yep I am sure you can do it, have faith in yourself” Eli assured Dia, noticing Chika heading back to the table she quickly changed the topic

“Heya! What did I miss? Wait Dia-san why are your eyes puffy?” Chika rushed over, cleaning Dia’s eyes a little who quickly defended herself with an “it is all okay! Don't worry”

Not fully accepting the answer, Chika wanted to ask another question but was interrupted by Eli

“Chika-san you should try these mozzarella cheese sticks” Eli offered a stick which Chika took with thanks and munching on it 

“Mama! Mam mam?” Hanamaru squealed as she watched Chika eat the cheese stick

“Sure hold on dear, Dia-san could you get the biscuits from the bag?” Chika said as she patted Hanamaru’s head

“Mama mama! Fishy fishy!” Mari toddled over and tugged on Chika’s arm

“Okie hold on dear, mama is coming” Chika smiled gently as she took the box of baby biscuits and walked over to what Mari has found while giving each girl a biscuit to munch on

“Dia-san as much as I do not believe in it, but don’t you think it's fate that you and Chika-san were caught in this situation?” Umi muttered which got Dia thinking more

“Just now should be a good indicator of your relationship to be honest” Eli added on, reminding Dia of the earlier incident 

“Asking Umi out was the best decision of my life, so take the first step otherwise you will always be stuck in this place” Eli finished her sentence with a pat on Dia’s back

“Anyway we have taken too much time, do enjoy the rest of your time together” Umi spoke up, gently taking Eli’s hand, waving bye to Chika and the girls

“Girls say bye bye to the onee-chans!” Chika smiled as she waved towards the couple, the little ones waving along too

“Nwee-cwan! Tank yew” Yo and Yoshiko toddled towards the couple, hugging their legs in thanks for bringing them back to Chika and Dia

The couple gave a few headpats on the two toddlers before walking away leaving the group alone

“Shall we go see more fishies?” Chika suggested, getting squeals of happiness from the girls, Yō and Yoshiko quickly toddling back and holding Dia’s hands making sure they won't lose them again 

<Back at the Kurosawa Residence>

“Can’t sleep dear?” Chika whispered as she tried patting Yō sleep, but the little girl kept whining and clutching hard to Chika’s sleeve muttering “mama mama” over and over again

“Mama” Yoshiko sniffed as she clutched onto Chika’s leg

“Come, follow mama dears” Chika whispered, not wanting to wake the other toddlers up. Yoshiko toddled behind Chika as she brought the toddlers to her shared room

“Do you want to sleep with Mama?” Chika softly asked as she placed Yō onto the bed followed by Yoshiko, the two girls nodded in response as they snuggled into the centre of the bed, Chika gently patting their bums to sleep

“Yō and Yoshiko cannot sleep?” Dia came in, using a towel to dry her hair

“Mmm, I think they are still afraid that they will not see us again like earlier on, I cannot imagine how scared they must have been when we lost them” Chika whispered as she continued to pat the now cuddling duo, Yō snuggling into Yoshiko like a ball while the latter curls around Yō sucking on her pacifier 

“They look like angels” Dia whispered as she gently placed a kiss on both toddlers head

“Yea, they are” Chika whispered back as she continued to pat the little girls who seemed comforted by Chika’s presence 

“I will sleep on the futon tonight, as the bed seems a little cramped” Dia whispered as she set the futon on the floor

Chika wanted to join cuddling Dia on the futon, but Yō and Yoshiko whined when she tried to leave the bed

“I guess I will sleep with the girls tonight” Chika sighed as she cuddled up with the toddlers on the bed, gently patting their bum as she laid down a little bit heartbroken that there was no chance to confess to Dia at the Aquarium

“Goodnight Chika-san” Dia whispered as she covered herself with the blanket, sighing at the missed chance to cuddle with Chika tonight and confess her feelings to the mikan 

“Night Dia-san” Chika whispered, opening her phone to see a picture taken of them at the aquarium earlier, wishing that this will continue forever. Before long, Chika felt her eyelids getting heavier by the second, falling asleep instantly.

“Mama?” A small voice questioned in the dead of night, little rubies darting around looking for the person in question, the voice starting to crack as she called out more

“Ma Ma?” the little girl started to whimper as she looked around, waking the other girl next to her

Both girls started to cry as they called out for Chika

“Mama is here” Dia quickly rushed onto the bed, patting both girls but they kept crying louder each second, Dia gently cuddling them as she tried to soothe them

“Oh dear, let me take over Dia” Chika appeared in the doorway, quickly rushing over to take both girls from Dia’s arms

“No honorifics?!” Dia’s sleepy mind screamed out loud as she watched Chika put both girls back to sleep

“Dia-san?” Chika confused voice snapped Dia out of her haze

“Y-yes?” Dia stumbled on her words, her brain trying to salvage every bit of sanity left

“Are you alright? I have been calling you for the past 5 seconds” Chika replied with a tiny pout on her lips as she continued to pat the now whimpering girls, gently reassuring them she is with them

“S-sorry I was a little tired so maybe I missed it” Dia blushed lightly, hoping the darkness of the room will hide it

“Mou, I wanted you to help me get 2 fresh diapers for them and also take 2 of my shirts and bundle them up” Chika pouted as she continued to pat their bums

Dia nodded and quickly rushed off to get the items Chika asked for. Chika quickly used her bundled up clothes to let Yoshiko cuddle with, while quickly changing Yō’s diaper who started to whine 

“Shh dear, mama is here” Chika reassured as she taped Yō up with a fresh diaper, Dia watched on as she gently patted Yoshiko’s bum as the little girl snuggled into Chika’s clothes

“Dia-san here” Chika gently passed Yō to Dia while taking Yoshiko and quickly changing her diaper too

Yō squirmed a little before slowly snuggling into Dia’s arms with a tiny yawn falling back into her tiny slumber. 

But Yoshiko was still whining as she clutched onto Chika, snuggling roughly into Chika’s embrace

“What's wrong dear? Can’t sleep?” Chika whispered as she gently patted the whiny girl

“Mwa mwa… mwissin” Yoshiko sobbed as she continued to clutching hard onto Chika, not wanting to leave her side

“Mama is here okay? Mama won’t leave any of you behind” Chika reassured as she hummed twinkle twinkle little star while gently patting Yoshiko’s bum

“Dia-san, could you help take the stuffed shark for Yoshiko?” Chika whispered to the ravenette who started to tuck Yō into bed with a kiss to the forehead

“Sure” Dia replied as she walked out of the room, gently tip-toeing between the sleeping toddlers and picking up the stuffed shark lying in the corner of the room

“Mama?” A tiny voice called out to Dia in the dark, the ravenette looked around for the source of the voice, only to find Riko sitting up, her eyes a little teary.

“Yes dear mama is here” Dia whispered as she gently took the redhead up from her spot next to Ruby, the little girl clutching her favourite blankie as she cuddled into Dia’s arms.

Dia walked back to her room as she patted Riko back to sleep, Riko squirming around as she tried to find a comfy spot in Dia’s arm

To calm down the squirming girl, Dia hummed pianoforte monologue as she patted Riko’s head gently before rubbing her back helping to soothe the little girl

“Mama…” Riko whined before gnawing on her blankie, puffing up her cheeks like a chipmunk as she did so

“Mama is here sweetie” Dia whispered as she gently stroked Riko’s hair

Dia walked back and sat on her bed as she continued patting Riko, her eyes watching Chika tuck Yoshiko into bed next to Yō with her shirts bundled up between them

“Dia-san do you want me to take over?” Chika whispered as she sat next to Dia, leaving over to gently stroke Riko’s cheeks with a quiet giggle

“It's alright, just rest first” Dia replied as she continued to pat Riko, the little girl’s eyes getting heavier as she continued to gnaw on the blankie

“Mwa mwa… sweepy” Riko mumbled as she gave a tiny yawn before gnawing her blankie to sleep

“Have a good rest dear” Dia whispered as she gave a tiny kiss on Riko’s forehead

“Is she asleep?” Chika asked as she moved ever so slightly next to Dia, the ravenette blushing at the close contact

“Yea, seems like it” Dia responded as she tucked Riko next to Yō and Yoshiko, giving a kiss on her forehead as the toddler snoozed away

“Phew, I am glad they are asleep” Dia whispered as she sat back on her bed next to Chika

“Mmm… It has been 5 days of taking care of these cuties, I wonder if anything will change?” Chika mumbled as she inched closer to Dia

“It will still be the same to me, taking care of so many ‘kids’” Dia sarcastically replied with air quotes, Chika giggling at Dia’s rare sarcasm 

“But I wonder if we will still be the same” Chika spoke under her breath

“Hm? Sorry I didn’t catch what you said” Dia questioningly asked

“Ah nothing nothing, goodnight Dia-san” Chika quickly snuggled into her pillow leaving a confused Dia to wonder what happened

“Goodnight Chika-san” staring at the orange head for a while trying to decipher her words, Dia tucked herself next to Chika and snoozed away

“Dammit Chika why did you forget to confess earlier at the aquarium, I missed my chance!” Chika berated herself in her mind as she sighed at her missed chance yesterday

“Sigh, hopefully another chance will appear” Chika sighed as she snuggled into her side of the bed, falling asleep almost instantly

“Mama?” “Mama?” Two voices stirred Chika awake as her eyes opened to see a pair of golden and azure orbs staring at her

“Good morning Mari-chan, Yō-chan” Chika replied as she patted both of their heads, the two quickly snuggling into Chika’s chest fighting for a spot

Giggling softly, Chika gave forehead kisses to both girls before falling back into dreamland, the two girls quickly fell asleep comfortably in Chika’s arms snuggling into her chest

A pair of emerald eyes watched the scene unfold from the doorway and quietly closed the door letting Chika sleep for a while longer

“Mama!” Dia turned to see Riko holding out a colouring book while sucking on her pacifier

“Do you want to colour with mama?” Dia crouched down as she patted Riko’s head who nodded in reply

“Okay let's colour with the others okay?” Dia replied as she brought Riko to the playroom where Yoshiko, Kanan and Ruby were awake and playing around

“Yawn”

Chika sat up from the bed and started stretching, blinking her eyes as her brain slowly booted up

Turning to the side Yō was missing but Mari was still fast asleep, although she started to stir as she felt Chika’s warmth disappear

“Wake up dear it's time for mam mam” Chika softly spoke as she stroked Mari’s hair

“Mwa mwa” Mari emitted a tiny yawn as she snuggled back into Chika’s arms, Chika tucking the stuffed star into Mari’s hands

Giggling, Chika gently carried Mari out of the room while patting her bum

“Good morning, Chika-san” Dia called out before returning to cooking lunch

“Morning!” Chika replied chirpily as she walked to the counter and placed Mari on it, as the little girl gnawed on the stuffed star while Chika made a bottle of milk for her

“Dia-san, what should we do today? Here is your mam mam dear” Chika shook the bottle of milk catching Mari’s attention who made grabby hands towards it

Once Mari took the bottle she looked at it for a while, before offering it to Chika, babbling “mama” over and over again

“Do you want mama to feed you?” Chika asked as she took the bottle, Mari nodding her head in response

“Good girl” Chika whispered as she cradled Mari’s head while the little girl drank from her bottle of milk

“Maybe we should go to the playground?” Dia replied as she closed the lid of the soup to let it stew

“Hmm… Oh oh! How about we go to the beach?” Chika’s eyes glowed in excitement at going to the beach

“The beach… that sounds like a great idea Chika-san” Dia replied with a gentle smile gently stroking Mari’s hair while the little girl drank finish her milk

“Mama!” Two voices squealed as they latched themselves onto Chika’s legs

“Good morning Yō-chan, Yoshiko-chan! Do you want to go to the beach, dears?” Chika replied as she used her free hand to pat their heads

“Bweach?” Yoshiko muttered as she looked at Yō who muttered the same word

“Mmhmm! It is where the sea is and you can build sandcastles!” Chika giggled as she gave Mari a kiss after the little girl finished her bottle of milk

“Chika-san, you seem to be more excited about the beach then the girls, but that is what I love about you” Dia chuckled but softly said the last part at the end

“Yea! Kanan-chan, Yō-chan and I have very fond memories of the beach when we were younger” Chika smiled widely as she placed Mari on the ground with a kiss on her forehead before the little girl rushed to go play

“Mama!” Yō and Yoshiko squealed as they released themselves from Chika’s legs, eyes looking for a kiss from Chika

“Do you want a kiss too dears?” Chika smiled gently as she squatted down to give both girls a kiss on their foreheads

Yō and Yoshiko squealed joyfully before running out to play with the other girls

Dia watched the scene unfold and quietly touched her lips, trying to imagine how does Chika’s lips taste like

Chika’s ruby eyes observed Dia’s lips, her mind thinking of how small a distance she can just cover to taste Dia’s lips

The pair slowly inched closer as they closed their eyes, when suddenly a sharp cry was heard, breaking them out of their mini world

“I will go see what happened” Chika rushed off with a blush on her cheeks, while Dia was still frozen in her spot

Dia felt her cheeks heating up, as she recalled what happened earlier and the night before

“What am I even doing” Dia questioned herself before returning to finish cooking lunch

“Come here dears, mama need to put sunblock on all of you” Dia said as she quickly applied sunblock on Yoshiko and Yō, the little girls squirming as Dia layered the liquid on their arms and face

“Okay done! Sit down dears, later the sunblock will run off” Dia gently scolded Yō and Yoshiko who were running around playing tag

“It is okay Dia-san, we can put more on them later at the beach, but be careful dears” Chika appeared with a basket of food and in her other arm was a bag of diapers, towel and water

“Chika-san, is everything prepared?” Dia asked as she placed a sunhat on Ruby

“Yep! I will go and change now” Chika replied, placing the basket and bag in front of the door before skipping to the bedroom to change 

 “Cute” Dia muttered, Riko looking at her curiously while sucking on her thumb

“Mama!!” Kanan and Yō squealed as they ran towards the sea, Yoshiko and Mari running after them to see the excitement

“Be careful dears!” Chika yelled out as she ran after them

Dia giggled as she watched Chika trying to carry a crying Yō and Kanan out as the seawater stung their eyes, washing their eyes off with a bottle of water she was carrying

“Ojou-san I will set up the umbrella here” Takahashi the chauffeur said as he set up the umbrella for Dia. While she was busy taking off her outerwear, leaving her in a stunning black bikini that contrasted against her pale skin

“Thank you Takahashi-san, after this you can go off. I will call you once we are ready to return back” Dia replied as she set the picnic mat on the floor, guiding Ruby Riko and Hanamaru onto the mat, placing the basket of food onto the mat so it wouldn't fly away.

“Roger that Ojou-san” Takahashi did a little bow before leaving the group, Riko waving bye bye to the man while Hanamaru climbed into Dia’s lap as the ravenette took a seat

“Yes dear?” Dia asked as she gently stroked Hanamaru’s hair, noticing Ruby climbing next to her leg, whining about her spot being taken 

“Nwee-cwan” Ruby whined as she tried to climb up Dia’s leg

“Come here Ruby” Dia smiled as she hoisted Ruby next to Hanamaru, both girls snuggling into Dia’s embrace, Riko crawled and found a comfy spot next to Dia’s leg

“Sweeties, do you want to make sandcastles?” Chika returned to the mat, Riko nodding in response while Ruby looked to Dia for answers

“Go on ahead Ruby” Dia gently pushed Ruby who climbed out of Dia’s lap holding onto Riko’s hand as the both toddled over to the other girls as they started to make sand mounds

“Let me leave my things here first” Chika said as she took off her summer dress

“Sure thi-” Dia’s words got caught in her throat as she saw an extremely stunning and delicious sight unfolding before her. 

Chika in a bright orange frilly bikini that accentuated her curves, her orange hair tied into a ponytail with an orange ribbon at the end

“Dia-san how do I look?” Chika grinned as she did a mini twirl into a pose , Dia taking a big glup as she tried formulating her words

“Y-you look cute Chika” Dia stuttered, her cheeks blushing a tinge of pink

“Hehe, thank you! I was planning on wearing it for our training trip” Chika gave a bright smile, the sunlight shining off her back as she ran back to play with the other girls

“Stunning…” Dia muttered while Hanamaru snuggled into Dia’s lap snoozing off straight away

Shaking her head, Dia decided to take out a small book and read as Hanamaru snoozed softly against Dia’s chest, the ravenette planting a small kiss in Hanamaru’s hair.

“Mama!” Dia’s eyes looked away from the book to see Yō running up to her with her hand outstretched

“Yes dear?” Dia stretched out her hand to receive a seashell that Yō dropped into her hand, the little girl giggled before running back to join the rest

Dusting off the shell, Dia smiled as she placed it in a plastic bag to keep in her seashell collection

After a while of playing, the group went back to the picnic mat for snacks which were homemade sandwiches and orange juice

“Come here dears, you need wipe your hands first” Chika took a bunch of wet wipes and started wiping the toddler’s hands before they took a sandwich from Dia to snack on

“Mama” Mari waddled up to Chika patting on her leg

“Yes dear?” Chika crouched down to give a pat on the blond girl’s head

“Jwuice?” Mari asked as she gave puppy eyes to Chika 

“Okay dear hold on” Chika rummaged through the bag and passed Mari a sippy cup of orange juice

“Mwa mwa?” Mari held it out wanting Chika to feed her

“Okay dear, drink slowly okay?” Chika slowly let Mari drink the orange juice until the girl was satisfied 

“Do you want to go back to play?” Mari nodded as she toddled back to the ‘sandcastle’ which looks more like a pile of sand and continue playing with Kanan and Yo

“Duwan!” Yoshiko screamed as she pushed her sippy cup away from Dia not wanting to drink the juice

“Sweetie, you need to drink or you will get thirsty” Dia gently explained as she offered the cup again. But Yoshiko turned away covering her mouth, starting to tear up as Dia panicked on how to comfort the little girl

“Dia-san? What is happening?” Chika walked back to see Yoshiko starting to cry. Upon seeing Chika, Yoshiko ran and hid behind Chika

“What's wrong dear?” Chika scooped up the toddler, giving a comforting kiss on Yoshiko’s forehead

“Duwan…” Yoshiko sniffed as she pointed towards the sippy cup of orange juice

“Oh right, it is okay Mama prepared another sippy cup for you” Chika shook her head towards Dia as she grabbed a sippy cup of water and offered it to Yoshiko

The little girl looked at the cup hesitant at first, but with a little support from Chika, Yoshiko drank from the cup quickly

“Slow down dear” Chika smiled gently as she stroked Yoshiko’s hair

“Mama!” Yoshiko said as she passed Chika the sippy cup and quickly asked to be placed down so she can join the others

“Careful dears!” Chika called out as the girls started to dig holes around their sandcastle

“Chika-san here is your sandwich” Dia said as she offered a sandwich which the mikan haired girl accepted gratefully

“Thank you Dia-san!” Chika smiled a she took a bite into the egg mayo sandwich

“Hmm it needs more salt” Chika said to herself as she took another bite

“It tastes wonderful Chika-san” Dia complimented with a tiny blush on her face

“Hehe thank yew” Chika replied with a blush, twirling her ponytail cutely in response

The pair stared at each other shyly in silence, only the sound of waves and toddlers playing were heard

“Mama?” Riko grabbed Chika’s fingers as she tried to get Chika’s attention

“A-ah yes dear?” Chika snapped out of her daze as she patted Riko’s head

“Sweshell?” Riko asked as Ruby joined in holding onto Riko’s other hand

“Ah you want to pick up seashells?” Chika asked as the two girls nodded their heads in response

“Okie lets go! Dia-san, could you take care of the other girls?” Dia nodded as she drank from her bottle of water, trying to hide from her reddening face

As Dia watched Chika running with Riko and Ruby, digging up holes as they try to find seashells, she kept being reminded of Eli’s words

“Take the first step, without it you will never know where it will take you”

“But what if…” Dia tried to reason with herself as she clutched her forehead, hoping she is not overthinking things

Dia’s eyes watched Chika pick Ruby up, giving a kiss on the little girl’s head before securing her in her arms. Soon the rest of the girls stopped digging holes and joined the trio in their hunt for seashells

“There’s always this aura that you emit that makes everyone follow you, which makes me fall in love with you ever more” Dia muttered under her breath as she stroked Hanamaru’s hair who was content with snuggling in Dia’s arms after their snack

Dia’s heart fluttered as she watched Chika playing with the girls, the girls toddling up to her to safekeep the seashells they collected

“Should I?” Dia thought as she continued to stroke Hanamaru’s hair

Dia felt her heart jump out of her chest as she made eye contact with Chika, the mikan haired girl giving a cute wave back before playing with the other girls

Dia soon felt herself on auto pilot, making her way with Hanamaru in her arms slowly towards the group. Each footstep for Dia felt very heavy as thoughts of what may happen, kept replaying in her head

“Dia-san?” Chika asked as she gave a quizzical look towards the ravenette that was slowly approaching them

“Chika-san…” Dia took a huge glup as she took another step in front of Chika

“I hope this was not a mistake” Dia said as she wrapped her arms around Chika and pulling her in before stealing her lips

Chika’s eyes widened in shock for a second before closing her eyes, melting into the kiss

The pair soon separated from their kiss when Yō started whining as she patted Chika’s leg, emeralds staring lovingly at rubies

“I-I am sorry Chika-san, i-it was a spur of the mom-” Dia’s stuttering was cut off with a quick kiss on the lips from Chika

“We can talk about it later tonight okay? Dia-chan~” Chika giggled at Dia’s reddening face as she picked up Yō and gave the pouty little girl a kiss on her forehead

“Are the girls asleep?” Dia whispered into the darkened room as Chika patted Mari to sleep

“Yep! They fell asleep fast, must have been tired after a day of playing” Chika chuckled softly as she gave Mari a kiss on her forehead, the blond girl snuggling into a comfortable spot in Chika’s arms as she sucked on her pacifier

“O-okay, um I will wait for you in the bedroom” Dia stammered before walking out of the room to collect herself

Dia sat on her bed as she twiddled her thumbs, thinking about the awkward conversation to come

“Dia-san” Chika’s voice startled Dia as the ravenette jumped slightly in response 

“Shall we talk?” Chika spoke softly as she sat next to Dia

“Sure” was all Dia replied and silence came between them

“Chika-san, sorry for earlier, it was too sudden” Dia spoke out as she took a deep breath

“B-but I love you, since the first time we met I have fallen in love with you countless of times” Dia said as she hid her blushing face behind her hands

Dia felt a pair of hands shifting her hands aside and cupping her cheeks gently

Placing a gentle kiss on Dia’s lips, Chika spoke softly

“I love you too Dia-san, since the event in Izu Mito sea paradise, I have fallen in love with your strict and clumsy side” Chika giggled as she placed another kiss on Dia’s nose

“Is that supposed to be a compliment?” Dia pouted as she returned a kiss on Chika’s cheek

“Yep! Because you are really cute when you do so” Dia’s face was steaming at Chika’s line, trying to hide her blush by digging her face into Chika’s bosom, gently punching her

“Dia-chan, you are really cute when you act spoilt” Chika giggled as she gently stroked Dia’s silky smooth hair, Dia giving a pout in return

“But Dia-san, why did you choose me?” Chika asked curiously as she gently held Dia’s hand

“Because you are the ray of light in my life, when I was lost finding my way after the incident with Mari and Kanan, you came bursting in with a big smile that said everything will be alright” Dia gently smiled as she leaned her head on Chika shoulder

“If you are okay with me, then I will be glad to be your girlfriend” Chika chuckled as she kissed Dia on the lips who happily accepted it

A little bit of crying broke the two from their kiss who giggled as they pressed their forehead together

“I will go and see who woke up” Chika giggled as she placed another kiss on Dia’s lips

Dia watched Chika walk out of the room, lying on her bed she felt her heart beating like a wardrum at the events that happened together, but yet she smiled at the fact that Chika accepted her feelings for her

“Eli-san I am glad I tried” Dia thought to herself, thanking Eli for the advice she gave yesterday 

“Dia! Wait, that sounds a little weird still, but anyway! There are two little girls that want to see you” Chika giggled as she tried calling Dia by her name but ended up combusting a little. 

As she brought Ruby and Riko into the room who toddled over to Dia asking to be carried

“Ruby, do you have difficulty sleeping?” Dia softly spoke as she carried Ruby onto the bed, securing her sister in her arms

“Nwe cwan” Ruby whimpered out as she sucked on her pacifier and cuddling into Dia’s arms

Riko looked towards Dia and Ruby and sat down on the floor quietly sucking on her pacifier 

“Come here Riko dear” Chika slowly carried the girl up into her arms

“Mama” Riko sniffed as she buried her face in Chika’s arms, Chika patted Riko’s bum until she felt Riko filling her diaper

“Don’t worry dear, mama will change you into a fresh one okay? Just let it all out” Chika comforted Riko as she gently rubbed the little girl’s belly

“Chika-san, I took a diaper for Riko, Ruby needs a change too” Dia walked to the side of the room to take two diapers from the spare stash they had in Dia’s bedroom

Quickly opening up a futon Dia started to change Ruby’s diaper, gently soothing the little girl as she cleaned her up

“Ah Dia-san, could you help to change Riko’s diaper? I forgot something” Chika gently placed the whimpering Riko next to Dia as she quietly rushed out of the room

After changing Riko’s diaper, Dia secured both girls in her lap as she hummed twinkle twinkle little star to comfort them

“Got it!” Chika reappeared in the doorway holding onto a big plastic bag

“What is that Chika-san?” Dia asked as she patted the two girls in her lap

“Hehe, here you go girls!” Chika pulled out the big stuffed bear and Riko’s favourite blanket. That she placed in the wash earlier in the day. Dia gently placed them next to the bear as they started to play around with it

 The new couple watched Riko and Ruby play with each other as they quietly linked their hands, Chika leaning her head on Dia’s shoulder as she sneaked kisses from the ravenette

Soon Ruby stifled a tiny yawn, followed by Riko. Chika giggled as Riko asked to be carried and picked her up, giving her a kiss on her forehead while Dia tucked Ruby in with her blanket, gently patting Ruby to sleep.

“Mwa mwa” Riko softly spoke as she gnawed on her blankie that Chika tucked in her arms

“Goodnight sweetie” Chika whispered as she patted Riko’s bum

After tucking in both girls, Chika and Dia laid on the bed, the former snuggling next to Dia

“Finally I can do this without it being awkward” Chika whispered as she gave a kiss on Dia’s lips

“Mmhmm and I can do this too” Dia replied as she hugged Chika closer, planting kisses over a giggling Chika’s face

“Goodnight Dia~” Chika said as she gave one final kiss on Dia’s lips before snuggling into Dia’s chest

“Goodnight Chika-chan” Dia blushed as she accepted the kiss, hugging the girl closer to her before letting their rhythmic breathing bring her to dreamland.

“Mama mama!” A cheerful voice called out which stirred both Chika and Dia awake

“Good morning sweetie” Chika lifted Mari onto her lap, giving a soft kiss on Mari’s forehead

Mari quickly found a comfy spot in Chika’s arms, prompting Chika to give her some head pats

“Good morning” Dia yawned as she leaned in for a kiss on Chika’s lips who quickly blushed a light red as they separated

“Good morning Dia-san!” Chika giggled as she patted Mari’s head who mewled in appreciation of the head pats

“I will go prepare breakfast after I freshen up” Dia said as she stretched her tired muscles, quietly stepping around Riko and Ruby who were sleeping soundly on the futon next to their bed hugging each other

Chika beamed brightly as she bounced a squealing Mari on her lap, watching Dia as she left the room

“Come dear lets go and find mama” Chika gave a tiny kiss on Mari’s forehead before carrying her out of the room

“Mama!” A toddler called out as she toddled towards Chika

“Good morning Kanan-chan!” Chika squatted down before giving a kiss on Kanan’s head

“Hag-u!” Kanan reached out her short arms as she bounced up and down wanting a hug

“Come here dear” Chika patted Kanan’s head before picking her up with her other free arm, the toddler quickly snuggling into Chika’s arm

Mari babbled as she reached out to Kanan, playing with the other girl in Chika’s arms

“MAMAAAA!!” A teary eyed girl slammed herself into Chika’s leg, startling the three of them

“Oh dear, what is wrong Ruby-chan?” Chika crouched down as she placed Kanan and Mari on the ground, picking up the teary little girl patting her back as the girl sniffled into Chika’s arms

“Rikwo” Ruby cried out as Chika heard some cries from Dia’s room, quickly telling Mari and Kanan to stay put while she rushed over with Ruby 

Upon entering the room, Chika saw Riko sitting up in her futon bawling her eyes out. Crouching down Chika picked Riko up while patting her bum and whispering sweet words to calm the little girl down

“Did you have a nightmare dear?” Chika whispered as she gave Riko a soft kiss on her head

The little girl nodded as she snuggled into Chika’s embrace, sobbing while grabbing onto Chika’s oversized shirt as hard as she could

Placing Ruby down with a gentle pat on her head, Chika quickly started to soothe Riko, patting her bum while soothing her back

Soon the sobs turned into sniffles as Riko’s grip loosened little by little as Chika continued to comfort her

“Come dear Mama will change your diaper” Chika gave a soft kiss on Riko’s forehead before changing Riko out of her dirty diaper

“Mama” Ruby whined as she hugged Chika’s leg

“Do you need mama to change your diaper?” Chika asked softly as she carried Ruby up onto the bed next to Riko

The little girl nodded as she quietly laid down, allowing Chika to change her diaper

“Good job dear on letting Mama know about Riko” Chika praised softly as she patted Ruby’s head after changing her diaper, the little girl blabbered happily in response as she shyly grabbed Riko’s hand

“Cute” Chika mumbled as she snapped a quick shot before carrying both girls out of the room

“Mamaa” Mari babbled as she toddled towards Chika with a bottle of milk in hand

“Hold on dear” Chika replied as she placed Ruby and Riko down on the floor, the two quickly toddling towards Dia for their share of milk

“You really like mama feeding you right?” Chika giggled as Mari snuggled into her arms before drinking from her bottle of milk

“Chika-san, what do you want to eat for breakfast?” Dia asked as she walked towards the pair, giving a soft kiss on Chika’s lips

“Mmm, maybe some eggs on toast, thanks Dia-chan!” Chika blushed as she continued to feed Mari, causing Dia to combust a little at the honorific Chika used

“Sure… Chika-c-c-chan” Dia stuttered in return, but ended up rushing out of the room with a red face, Chika giggling as she watched Dia combust 

“Nyan mama mama ma!” Mari squealed as Chika tickled Mari, the little girl squirming in excitement while the other littles played around next to Chika

“Mama mama!” Ruby squealed as she stared at Chika to make sure she is watching, before walking over to pick up a soft toy slowly, showing her “strength”

“Wow good job Ruby-chan!” Chika grinned as she acknowledged Ruby’s strength with a small applause, which the little girl giggled as she dragged the stuffie to Riko who started to curl up into a little ball wanting to snooze away

“Chika-san! Breakfast is ready!” Dia called out as she placed plates of piping hot food on the table

“Sure thing! Mari-dear go and play with Kanan-chan okay? Mama needs to eat” Chika gave a soft kiss on Mari’s forehead who started to pout 

Giving another kiss on her forehead, Mari reluctantly crawled to play with Kanan who was gnawing on the stuffed dolphin

Taking her place at the table, Chika leaned over and gave Dia a kiss of thanks which the ravenette quickly blushed as she mumbled incoherently, tucking into her food to hide her embarrassment 

“Mama mama!” Chika turned to see a pouty Yō stretching her hands out wanting some hugs

“Good morning dear, Mama will give you huggies later okay? Mama is eating now” Chika gave a soft kiss on Yō’s forehead which the little girl started to pout more in return, which soon turned into a sad puppy face

“Mama mama!!” Yō pouted as she continued to call Chika 

“Ahhh mou! Okay come here dear” Chika reluctantly picked Yō up while giving her a kiss on the head before continuing eating her meal

“Mama mam mam?” Yō curiously pointed towards the scrambled eggs, wanting to try a bite

“Here dear ahhh” Chika offered as Yō opened her mouth wide to munch on the fluffy eggs

Yō bounced on Chika’s lap with a huge smile as she happily chewed on the eggs

“So this is what our life in the future will be like” Dia mused as she watched the cute interaction between Chika and Yō

“Mama?” Soon all the girls started to crowd Chika for some food, giving the same puppy eyes to Chika

“Ah Ah! Dia-san please help!!” Chika begged as she started to give bits of eggs to the happy toddlers crowding her

“Nope you are on your own~” Dia teased as she walked over to Chika and gave her a kiss on her cheek with a tiny smirk before washing the dishes

“Diaaa you meaniee!” Chika shouted before she was overwhelmed by toddlers like a zombie apocalypse

“Chika-san?” Dia called out to the pouting orange head who was gently rocking Ruby and Mari in her lap to sleep

“Hmmph!” Chika pouted turning her head away with a huff, gently patting Mari and Ruby while rocking them 

“Chika-san do you want a mikan?” Dia said as she offered a slice of mikan, the orange head quickly turning her head with sparkles in her eyes

“Mikan?! Ah shucks” Chika’s sudden movement made Ruby stir in her lap, quickly she patted Ruby to sleep

“Got you to turn” Dia teased as she walked around the sleeping toddlers before gently prodding Chika’s nose with a slice of mikan

“Mou~” Chika pouted but took the piece off Dia’s fingers and ate it, a bright smile breaking out as she enjoyed the slightly sweet and sour mikan slice

“Here” Dia offered another slice as she watched Chika enjoying every slice

“Dia-san could you take Ruby for a sec?” Dia nodded as she took Ruby from Chika’s arms. The latter standing up from the rocking chair before gently placing Mari on the futon, tucking the stuffed star into her arms before stretching

“Dia, there is something on your face” Chika said as she popped one more slice of mikan before leaning in to Dia’s face

Instead of feeling Chika’s fingers cleaning off the stain, Dia felt Chika’s lip touch hers, turning it into a deep kiss as Chika pushed the orange wedge into Dia’s mouth while they kissed deeply

After a while of kissing, the two separated from their kiss, Dia blushing heavily as she chewed on the orange wedge in her mouth. Chika giggling as she watched Dia chew slowly, brain still processing what happened earlier

“Got you to blush” Chika whispered before leaving a peck on Dia’s cheek and heading to the toilet

“Why does this piece of mikan taste better than usual? ” Dia blushed as she touched her lips with her free hand

“Mama!” Yoshiko giggled as she toddled towards Chika with a cherry blossom in hand

Chika and Dia decided to have a mini picnic in a quiet area of a park where the cherry blossoms were blooming, letting the small ones enjoy their time playing with the blossoms

The little girls toddled around as they tried catching the falling blossoms with their hands, one petal in particular gently dropped onto Ruby’s nose who did a tiny sneeze in response 

“Come here Ruby” Dia said as she wiped Ruby’s nose before she ran back to play with Riko

“Mama mama!!” Yō, Kanan and Mari toddled up to the couple holding a bunch of petals in their hands. 

As they got closer, Yō started wrinkling her nose before sneezing, blowing the petals all over the grass

Yō looked at her hands and at the ground, before looking at Chika with azure eyes filled with tears

Sensing Yō was about to cry, Chika offered her arms wide open and Yō quickly toddled into Chika’s arms, weeping as Chika comforted her

“There there dearie, you can pick up more petals for mama okay? You are a big girl right?” Chika gave a soft kiss on Yō’s head while rubbing her back. Yō sniffled before nodding, Chika giggling as she used a handkerchief to wipe Yō’s tears away

After a while more of comforting, Yo toddled away to join the others in playing with the petals

Chika leaned onto Dia’s shoulder as they watched the girls throw the petals around, their hands interlocked unconsciously 

“Will this be what our future will be like?” Chika whispered as she snuggled into Dia’s shoulder, letting the slight scent of matcha put her at peace

“Mmhmm” Dia affirmed as she placed a peck on Chika’s forehead before wrapping her arm around her girlfriend, Chika leaning up to plant a kiss on Dia’s cheek in return

“Mama mama pway pway!” Mari toddled over and tugged on Chika’s arm

“Yoshh, mama is coming!” Chika smiled gleefully as she carried Mari and walked back to where the rest were playing/rolling around in the petals

“Mama” Hanamaru came toddling over to Dia with a tiny yawn

“Tired already dear?” Dia asked as she hoisted the toddler into her lap, Hanamaru quickly finding a comfy spot before dozing away

Dia hummed as she gently patted Hanamaru with one hand and the other reading her book

Dia soon found herself dozing off as she continue patting Hanamaru rhythmically, still keeping her upright posture 

 “Nwee cwan?” Ruby’s voice woke Dia up from her slumber

“Ah yes Ruby?” Dia’s eyes blinked awake as she saw her little sister offering a makeshift tiara made out of cherry blossoms and daisies, wearing a similar one on her head

Turning her head around, she saw Chika making tiaras made with cherry blossoms found by the girls and being tied together by daisies she found around them

“Nwee cwan?” Ruby asked curiously wondering why Dia hasn't taken the tiara

“Sorry Ruby, thank you” Dia snapped her focus back as she took the tiara from the little girl, but Ruby stayed in her spot and watched Dia

“Hmm yes Ruby?” Dia asked as Ruby continued looking at Dia as though she expected her to do something

Ruby babbled a little before taking the tiara back from Dia, toddling a little forward to place it on Dia’s head

Understanding what Ruby was trying to do, Dia dipped her head while trying not to hit the sleeping Hanamaru, as the little girl placed the tiara on Dia’s head

After placing the tiara, although not perfect, Ruby smiled and blabbered happily before toddling back to the rest of the group

Dia smiled fondly as she continued to pat Hanamaru while the little girl continued to sleep soundly

“This is the last day huh” Dia mused as she continued patting, remembering the events for the past few days

“Dia-chan~” Dia broke out of her daydream to see a pair of drooling rubies in front of her

Looking up Dia saw Chika giggling as she peeked her head from behind a drooling Yoshiko while holding the toddler in front of her like the scene in lion king

“Yoshiko-chan needs a diaper change, does Hanamaru need one too? The others don’t need at the moment” Chika said as she offered a giggling Yoshiko to Dia

“Give me a second” Dia replied as she quickly took a look at Hanamaru’s diaper

“She needs a change too, do you think you can hold her while I grab the new diapers” Dia offered Hanamaru who started to whine as she felt Dia’s warmth away from her, but quickly fell back asleep once she was in Chika’s arm

Taping Yoshiko’s fresh diaper up, Dia did a little pat on her bum as the little girl toddled off to play with the others

While taking Hanamaru from Chika’s arms, she started to fuss and threw a small tantrum. Seeing that Dia quickly changed her diaper and moved her back to her arms

After Hanamaru’s diaper was changed, Dia patted the little girl on her head trying to defuse her bad mood from being woken up earlier

“Do you want mama to read a book to you?” Dia softly asked as she cuddled Hanamaru, who shook her head in response and snuggled into Dia’s arm falling asleep

“Dia-chan let's take a photo” Chika grinned as she took out her smartphone

Dia gave a small smile while Chika pressed their cheeks together as she tried to take the selfie with a sleepy Hanamaru in the middle

“3, 2, 1 snap” Chika counted down as the phone took a photo

“Hold on one more, 3,2,1 smooch , pigyah! ” Dia squealed in surprise as Chika suddenly placed a kiss on Dia’s cheek while snapping the shot

“You look cute Dia-chan~” Chika teased as she showed Dia her shocked and flushed face while Chika placed a kiss on her cheek

Dia’s mouth opened and closed like a goldfish as she tried processing that sudden kiss

“Bye bye” Chika gave another teasing kiss on Dia’s lips before running back to play with the girls

“Mou” Dia blushed as she touched the kiss mark on her cheek left by Chika. Her phone suddenly beeped as the two photos were sent by Chika

It melted Dia’s heart seeing both of them wearing matching cherry blossom tiaras with a sleepy Hanamaru squished between them.

Dia stared at Chika lovingly as she continued patting Hanamaru, thanking the decision she made yesterday and praying to whichever God out there to let them continue to be happy together 

“Goodnight sweetie” Chika whispered as she patted Yoshiko to sleep, the toddler sucking on her pacifier while snuggling into Chika’s arms

“Mama! Mama!” Kanan and Yō said as they gently tugged on Chika’s skirt

“Cannot sleep dears?” Chika replied as she gently placed Yoshiko on the futon, picking up the two toddlers who started to bounce around in her arm seemingly full of energy still

“Sorry Chika-san, both of them didn't want to sleep even after I gave them their pacifiers” Dia popped her head into the room with an apologetic smile on her face

“Its alright, shall we go out dears?” Chika whispered as she brought the two out of the room to let the other toddlers sleep

“Mamaaa” Yō giggled as Kanan and her played a small game of tag while Dia and Chika watched on

“Careful dears” Chika called out before snuggling into Dia’s shoulder, Dia laughing softly as she placed a small kiss on Chika’s forehead

“Dia, what will happen to Aqours if the girls do not turn back?” Chika muttered as she tightly grasped Dia’s hand

“If it happens then I think we will have no choice but to disband” Dia’s words felt like a knife through Chika’s heart

“But that is an if and no matter what happens you are not alone in this” Dia assured as she planted a kiss on Chika’s lips

“Mmm! “ Chika replied as she placed a kiss in return on Dia’s cheek with a chuckle

“Mwa mwa…” Yō gave a tiny yawn as she toddled towards Chika

“Tired already dear?” Chika replied as Yō gave a few small sleepy nods

Carrying a sleepy Yō, Chika gently patted her as she started to snooze off in her arms

“Bosowo” Yō muttered in her sleep, causing Chika to burst out in giggles

“Sweet dreams my little sailor” Chika whispered as she placed Yō next to Yoshiko, tucking the stuffed ship into her arms as the little girl snuggled into a tiny ball with the ship in between her arms, snoozing away

After tucking Yō to sleep with a kiss to her forehead, Chika walked out of the room to see Dia bouncing a giggling Kanan on her lap while the little girl sucked on her pacifier 

“Dia-san, Kanan may not be able to sleep if you play with her that way” Chika gave a fake stern look with her arms on her hips as she half joked with Dia

“Kanan, are you sleepy already?” Dia asked which the little girl shook her head in response, climbing off Dia’s lap to play with the stuffed dolphin

“Dia-chan, you can go shower first, I will watch over Kanan-chan” Chika said as she took a seat next to Dia

“Sure thing” Dia replied as she gave a soft kiss on Chika’s lips

As Dia walked away, Kanan quickly ran up to Dia and started to hug her leg

“Kanan dear, mama needs to go shower” Dia said as she patted Kanan’s head

“Mama!” Kanan squealed out as she hugged Dia’s leg tighter, wanting to join Dia in the bath

“Shall we go take a bath together? Kanan-chan seems to want to splash around in the tub” Chika giggled as she picked Kanan up, giving a smooch onto her cheek

“S-sure” Dia hesitated, hoping she will not combust later in the bath 

Dia felt herself blushing a little as she soaked into the tub, hearing a rustling of clothes as Chika took off Kanan’s onesie for the little girl 

“Mama!” Kanan squealed as she toddled fast to the bath

“Walk slowly dear, later you will fall down” Dia cautioned as she prepared herself to catch Kanan

Kanan toddled over to the edge before tumbling over into the water, Dia catching her in a nick of time before her head hit the bottom of the tub

Kanan was busy splashing about as Dia supported the little girl, making sure she doesn’t slip and fall

Dia heard the showers turning on and off before a series of wet plops onto the floor and making a little splash into the water next to her

Knowing the presence next to her, Dia blushed heavily as she tried distracting herself by playing with Kanan

“Dia-san” Chika whispered as she poked Dia’s cheek which instantly turned red in response

“Y-yes Chika-san?” Dia stuttered as Kanan continued to splash around, babbling as she splashed over to Chika

“I am just wearing” Chika whispered into Dia’s ear

“…” silence for a while

“Towel” Chika’s last words made Dia burst out in a deeper shade of red

Noticing Dia’s combustion, Chika giggled loudly

“Just kidding, I am wearing my bikini” Chika gave a quick peck on Dia’s cheek as the ravenette tried to keep herself calm with deep breaths

“I am getting out now” Dia quickly retreated but her hand was quickly held onto by Chika

“Dia-san won’t you let your new girlfriend wash your back? Although I need to tuck Kanan in first” Chika softly giggled as she stood up behind Dia, carrying a now sleepy Kanan in her arms

While Chika was tucking Kanan into bed, Dia sat on the stool until she heard the door opening 

Dia quickly stiffened up as she felt Chika’s soft hands lathering her back with soap, before a slightly rougher cloth touched her back and started to scrub against her skin gently as though Chika was gently rubbing her back

Once Chika was done making sure that Dia’s back was properly scrubbed, she rinsed her back off with water

“Dia-chan, could you scrub my back too?” Chika giggled as she sat down behind Dia, her back facing the ravenette

After scrubbing Chika’s back, the two soaked in the bath, Chika sitting opposite of Dia

“Today is the last night right” Chika spoke out as she soaked herself deeper into the tub

“Yea…” Dia muttered back

“I will miss them being so cute” Chika giggled as she moved over from her side, taking her place next to Dia

“Yea, it feels a little unreal with what has happened these past 7 days” Dia replied as she wrapped her arm around Chika, pulling the orange haired girl closer to her

“Mmm” Chika hummed as she leaned on Dia’s shoulder, closing her eyes as she let the presence of her girlfriend put her at ease

“Nite Dia-chan” Chika giggled as she snuggled into Dia’s chest, the ravenette smiling softly as she wrapped her arms around Chika

“Good night Chika” Dia whispered with a blush on her cheeks, falling asleep as she let Chika’s light mikan scent bring her to dreamland

The couple slept peacefully until screams and sounds resonated throughout the house, jolting the couple awake

“WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!” A voice screamed

“WHO IS KICKING MY FACE?!” Another voice shouted angrily

“Urgh what is going on…”

“I am having a headache…”

“Riko-chii you look very sexy” Another voice cooed

“WAIT WHY AM I NAKED?!” A voice screamed 

“Guys!” Chika called out as she ran into the room, hugging her two best friends. Dia taking their bags of clothes they had prepared for the trip

“Chika-chan?! What happened??” Riko screamed out as she tried hiding herself from the others especially from Mari’s googly eyes

“Later explain… Just let me enjoy this moment for a while first” Chika sniffled as she hugged Riko and Yō tighter, the two shrugging before accepting the hug while the rest watched the 2nd year trio hug each other, standing awkwardly as they tried to hide themselves

“Okay everyone, here is your bags of clothes, change first and we will explain what happen” Dia commanded as the girls quickly grabbed their clothes

“Oh so that is what happened…” Riko muttered as Dia and Chika explained the whole situation to them, showing photo and video evidence of the incident after a quick clothes change

“And because of that… Yo-shi-ko san? Do you know what you have done?” Dia gave the fallen angel a smile that didn’t reach her eyes, causing the smaller girl to cower behind Yō

“Dia-san relax, this incident was not all bad right?” Chika gave a small smile to Dia, gently rubbing her hand to calm her down

“Dia is listening to someone for once?! That is so shiny! It almost seems like you are dating!” Mari giggled as she teased the couple, causing them to blush slightly

“Mari, don’t tease them unless… are you actually dating?” Kanan asked curiously, noticing the closeness of Chika and Dia

“Yep, we are dating officially since the day before” Chika replied as Dia blushed heavily as she avoided eye contact with a now cat like grin Mari wanting to know more about it

“A-anyway let's go to sleep first we can talk more tomorrow” Dia coughed as she chased the group to sleep

“Ehhhh, why so early?” Mari curiously asked as she her grin grew wider, getting a death glare from Dia

“Sleep, or you will all be punished” Dia glared before going to take the futons for the group

“Let me grab the futons out Nee-chan” Ruby went to assist her sister and wanting to find out more about what happened

“Good morning Chika-san” Dia gently smiled at Chika who was slowly walking out of their room, due to Chika’s heavily pregnant state

“Morning dear” Chika giggled as she walked over to give Dia a kiss, before taking her seat at the sofa

Giving Chika her plate of breakfast and a cup of orange juice, Dia took her seat next to Chika, gently rubbing her pregnant wife’s belly

“You know, Dia-san looking back at the incident, I think I am glad we had that unique experience… Because I don’t think we would have ended up together without it” Chika giggled as she gently took Dia’s hand and placed it on her cheek, nuzzling into it

“Mmm, I love you Chika-san” Dia whispered as they locked lips, not one filled with hunger and desperation but one filled with love and tenderness for one another

“Speaking of which, what should we name them?” Chika asked as she leaned her head on Dia’s shoulder 

“Hmm how about Daika and Chiemi?” Dia thought for a second before suggesting 

“Daika… Chiemi… Both of their names sounds wonderful, oh they are kicking, I think they love the names” Chika softly giggled as she gave a peck on Dia’s lips before tucking into her food again

The couple spent the rest of the day, reminisced about the past, remembering the interesting adventures they had with Baby Aqours
