Chapter Text

Frisk Eir was... Not your average kid. Well, the fact they can touch an object no one else can should be a clue. They were decided to be the protector of the Seven Heart Medallion, even though they were only fourteen. However, this came with complications.
"You're saying Frisk has to go up Mt. Ebott alone?" Chara asked.
"Yes, it's for the best," One of the figureheads said.
"For who? Do you know the tales? They could die and you'd be the blame!" Chara screamed.
 "Char..." Frisk said.
"We know the tales, Mt. Ebott is either empty or filled with monsters, but you can hold them off, right Frisk?" The other figurehead said.
 "..." Frisk stood in silence.
 "Right, Frisk?" The figurehead said.
"They're scared, and you're pushing them!" Chara said.
"I know you're going to force me up Mt. Ebott anyways, so why try fighting it?" Frisk asked.
 "Frisk..." Chara said.
"Frisk Eir is right, you shall go at the break of dawn," The figurehead said, "And Chara Love, you are to not interfere with us again."
Chara looked around five seconds away from throwing a swear, and Frisk walked away, head down.

The break of dawn came like clockwork. Frisk had prepared their stuff.
"Frisk, you're just gonna go through with this?" Chara asked.
"...I don't want to, but I know fighting them is a bad idea, Char," Frisk sighed.
 "Why not?" Chara said.
"They're gonna force me up and barricade it off no matter what might as well make them not try hurting me on the way," Frisk said.
"Are you ready?" A voice said from outside the door.
"One sec!" Frisk hugged Chara, "I'll miss you, Char."
 "...Goodbye, Frisk," Chara said.
 Frisk let go and left.

The trek up Mt. Ebott was a long and lonely one. The figureheads were putting a type of barrier around it. Frisk was just trying to make sure they didn't- Their thoughts were interrupted by a vine causing them to trip into the mountain. They kept their eyes open and tried grabbing something. They crashed on golden flowers, breaking their fall.
"Owww..." Frisk looked around, "Well there goes my chance to go back home..."
Frisk got up, patting their hoodie pocket. The Medallion is gone.
"Crap!" Frisk mumbled, looking for it in the flowers.
A goat-looking person walked up, and asked, "Is this yours?" While holding the Medallion.
"Yes- wait," Frisk thought for a second, "How are you holding that? Are you going through the shocks just to give it back?"
"No," The person handed Frisk the Medallion, "My name is Toriel."
"Toriel, huh, well, my name is Frisk," Frisk put the Medallion in their hoodie pocket.
 "Are you alright?" Toriel asked.
 "Not really," Frisk said.
"Come, I will guide you through the Ruins," Toriel said, holding her hand out.
Frisk took her hand and got up. The duo walked through the Ruins, purple walls surrounded them, and there were a few switches around, although it seems like they were all solved by someone else.
"If you excuse me," Toriel let go, "I came here with some friends, and I would like to tell them that you're friends with me if they're around. If you want, you can follow, however, I will be back in around ten minutes."
 "Okay?" Frisk said.
Toriel walked off, looking for people. Frisk sat there, thinking about the events that transpired. They decided to get up and look around, finding some leaves that they playfully crinkled in. Well, until they heard footsteps, and they looked around.
 "What was that?" Frisk asked.
 More footsteps.
 "Toriel?" Frisk asked.
"Don't you know how to greet a new pal?" the being asked, "Turn around and shake my hand."
"Uhh..." Frisk turned around, and, seeing the hand out, shook it, feeling something rubbery before...
Hearing a whoopee cushion. Frisk held in a laugh at how stupidly brilliant that was. They were also considering yelling 'you jerk'.
"heheh, the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick, it's always funny," The skeleton put the whoopee cushion in their jacket.
"Who even are you?" Frisk asked, thinking about it, why wouldn't there be a skeleton down here?
"i'm sans. sans the skeleton." Sans said.
 "Frisk," Frisk said.
"Greeting Sans, I was just informing the others of," Toriel came over seeing Frisk with Sand, "Oh! It seems you have already met them!"
 "yeah," Sans shrugged.
"Good! We should go to the others," Toriel said.
 "Others?" Frisk asked.
"yeah, like my bro," Sans said.
"Let us go then," Toriel started walking off, Sans behind her.
"What have I gotten myself into..." Frisk asked themselves, following.

"We're back!" Toriel said, walking into the large house.
"oh..." A small bed sheet-like ghost floated up, "that's nice..."
"How many of you are there?" Frisk asked.
 "eight beside you," Sans answered.
 Frisk blinked, "Gotcha."
"Hello, darling!" Another ghost, this one more pink, floated over.
 "Hi?" Frisk answered.
"metty... maybe not right now..." The ghost said.
"I'll guide Frisk to the shared room," Toriel said.
"i'll get some work done," Sans said.
"Will you actually, darling?" Metty, apparently, asks.
 "yeah, a skele-ton," Sans replied.
Toriel giggled, frisk held in a groan.
 "okay..." The ghost said.

A few minutes later, Frisk was alone in the room.
"Okay okay okay some peace and quiet..." Frisk said, "In two minutes I'll be cursing myself for saying that."
They opened the door, just to see some flying spears and bones.
"What the-" Frisk stopped themselves, looking over, and seeing Sans, encased in some dark aura, the same kind that The Anomaly makes, the same kind they came into Mt. Ebott to run from.
"Ngaaah! You can't keep dodging forever!" One person, who was fish-like yelled.
"But do you think I'll stand there and take it?" The controlled Sans asked.
 "SANS!" Another skeleton yelled.
The possessed Sans tried attacking him, only to get the bone interrupted by a flame.
"What is going on with you?" Another goat-like person said, a flame in hand.
"I know all three of you, and you won't attack me directly," The possessed Sans said.
Frisk decided on a whim to cannonball into his back. He ricochets into the wall. Frisk looked around, seeing the three fighting the possessed Sans staring.
 "WOWIE!" The other skeleton said.
Frisk felt the possessed Sans stare daggers into their soul. Bones came out of the ground at them, interrupted by spears.
"Leave this to us, punk!" The fish-like one yelled.
"We can handle this on our own," The goat-like one said.
"But you won't hurt me, and you can't save your friend without one of the SOULs," The possessed Sans said.
The Seven Heart Medallion shined red, and the red heart flew out. All four of them saw the absolute terror on the possessed Sans's face as it flew into Frisk, making a ball of red energy.

"What the fuck..." Frisk asked no one.
Small light letters appeared, detailing what to do.
 'Say 'Pretty Cure! Soul Activate!'
"Fuck it, this might as well happen," Frisk sighed after saying that.
 "Pretty Cure! Soul Activate!"
Frisk's outfit disappeared, becoming a small light t-shirt and pants combo. They ran forwards, the pants of the outfit becoming a pair of shorts, with buttons, in a deep purple. The outfit's shirt changed from the light construct into a shirt with a blue to purple to red ombre. Frisk held their arms out, short gloves forming around their hands. Short red boots formed around their feet and ankles, and their hair got tinted red, a small flower crown landing on it. A wooden staff with a red heart at the top appeared, and Frisk grabbed it.
 "Red soul activated, Cure Determination!"
Determination looked around, the goat-like one looked confused, and the other two looked pumped. The controlled Sans rushed at them, ignoring the other three... Or the light blue bones and sears pointing at him around him, trapping him.
"We have him entrapped!" The goat-like one said, "But how do we get Sans out.
 "I can try!" Determination said.
"How do you expect to do that?" The fish-like one asked.
"I'M SURE THEY CAN!" The skeleton said.
"Somehow..." Determination looked at their staff.
Determination dragged their staff across, creating a ring that surrounded the corrupted Sans, "Extract corruption!" The ring surrounded him, pulling off the aura, and removing the corruption.
"Pretty Cure! Savelight!" Determination created a save point star, and launched it at the entrapped aura, turning it into sparkles, and.
 "There we go!" Determination said.

A few minutes later, all nine of them were sitting at a table. A looked around the same age range as Frisk.
"D-do you fully know what happened?" A lizard-like one said.
"What happened is a sign of the Anomaly," Frisk said, "What I came down here to run from."
