It’s already been two years since Shoto’s first debut. He’s now a Vtuber who has 599 thousands of fans on Twitch. Although he is actually having fun in his every broadcast, that was not his initial purpose at all. As a demon slayer, his first goal will always be hunting and killing demons, and live streaming could help him to seek for demons in an easier way. On the bright side, he did find a “demon” named Vox Akuma. Yet, on the bad side, that guy is a “voice demon”.
A voice demon? Shoto has never heard about that. The only type of demon he knew is the creature that is indifferent, with no morals and killing people with a smiley face. They destroy the home of their believers and kill everyone in the village, just like they did in Bakumori, his homeland. Shoto never feels lucky as being the only survivor of the massacre, he has to take the responsibility of revenging. So he kills every single demon he has met, like they once did to humans.
However, he still wouldn’t kill Vox temporarily. First of all, he was curious about what a “voice demon” is. Second, Vox knows he is a demon slayer so he probably will not put down his guard in months. And lastly, he doesn’t seem to be a real demon—not only in his outward appearance but also his background. He also has his own believers—he calls them Kindred. He seems to really care about his kindreds. He has a really deep voice which makes him not able to sing well. So he takes the advantage and does some ASMR streaming to make sure his kindreds won’t leave him.
Maybe he is different from them, Shoto thought.
Therefore Shoto started collabing with Vox, and found out he is already 400 years old but still acts like a normal human. He eats food like humans, not having blood or meat from humans for meals; He talks like humans, sometimes he loves teasing Shoto. He even has plenty of emotions, he would say curse words when he dies in games. He could also be gentful sometimes when he is cooking or comforting Shoto and his other friends.
But he doesn’t know if these are all traps of that demon, to make an illusion that he is nice so Shoto won’t kill him. Shoto started acting like they are really good friends, so he could get more information from the demon, or even his address. And unexpectedly, Vox has a really low precaution to a demon slayer, even though he is a demon himself. So Shoto tried to ask for his address, and he got it right after he asked.
And Shoto told Vox that he would like to have an offline ASMR collaboration together, so they could meet up at Vox’s house. It’s located in England so Shoto will have a nine and a half hours flight from America. Vox agreed immediately and planned for a time when they are both free for Shoto’s long traveling. It was planned for next week, but Shoto feels excited for that. That demon makes him feel interesting, and he might be the only demon that Shoto will never kill. He’s going to see Vox offline a week later, every night it becomes tough to fall asleep. A dark red shadow appears in every single dream.
The day of collabing came so soon, Shoto’s mind was full of anticipation and tension. He had just landed after the nine hours flight, but he didn't feel exhausted at all. Now he just wants to see Vox as soon as possible. It is his first time feeling it’s so troublesome to have such a long formalities. The plane was a little delayed from its scheduled landing time, he hopes Vox won’t be waiting too long for him.

Oh Vox. Shoto thought. Stop being so gentle to me… I am a demon slayer whatever you do or say, but is this a sweet trap? He hopes not.
Shoto opened his phone to see if Vox had some more messages to him. He didn’t check them immediately after landing, and that means he was late to reply to them. As expected, he saw a few messages, and you can feel the anxiety in those words.

-I arrived at the airport. Are you doing formalities in the customs?
-are you okay? Safe?
-my little puppy please reply me
-Shou, are you safe?
-reply me asap please…I don’t want my babe get hurt

Shoto felt tears coming out of his eyes. Vox knows he is a demon slayer, and is still worrying about him, why would he? Shoto doesn’t know, but he can feel Vox will become important to his life from now on. He just wants to see Vox and gives him a warm hug right then, to relieve his nervousness. He soon replies to Vox and apologizes for checking those messages so late, and he could see Vox reply a GIF to him at once. It was someone who looked like Vox dancing around like a gorilla. Shoto couldn’t hide the sweetness and laughter from his heart like something was jumping out.
Ten minutes later he finally got the papers done and was able to go take his luggages. He was pretty late for them and almost everyone took their luggages already. He took his belongings with purple patterns and went straight to the arrival hall, looking for Vox and calling him at the same time. He doesn’t hear any phone rings. Vox maybe went to the wrong area, he thought. And a few seconds later, he hears a ringing from his phone, it was a message from Vox.
-Look behind you darling
? What does that mean? Before he knew it, someone hugged him from behind. He reflexively gave a punch to whoever is behind him, and heard a familiar voice screaming out his name.
“SHOTO!!!!”
“Yeah….umm sorry!!!”
Great. He punched Vox subconsciously. And Vox has no precaution to him.
“I’m sorry Vox…I didn't mean to do this…” His body was too sensitive, and that makes him scared even if it's just a kind hug between friends.
“Ahh it’s fine, maybe I scared you.” Vox said, perfectly shows the ability of a voice demon. “Welcome to Britain. I hope you will enjoy your journey here.” Seems like he is pretty nervous to see the slayer in such a close distance, he couldn’t say something easily. That makes Shoto laugh so hard.
“You’re talking like a flight attendant Vox,” Said the slayer, “Where am I living?”
“Your choice, my house or a hotel you like.”
“Your house, maybe I’ll bother you for a week.”
“Wow ok,” Vox laughed, “you want to eat something before we go home?”
“No thanks, the flight makes me nauseated.”
So they went to Vox’s home and took shower. Vox let Shoto take it first because he went on a long flight and was probably getting tired, and he wanted Shoto to get rest first.
After the shower, Shoto feels refreshed mentally, but his body was telling him it needs a good rest. So Shoto went to the room Vox told him, and found out there are two pillows with different patterns. One of them is with a purple doggie logo and patterns, Shoto thinks Vox prepared that for him. He slept on it and noticed some smell, probably Vox’s body scent. He fell asleep before Vox came out from the bathroom.
In the middle of the night Vox was still awake, he couldn’t sleep with Shoto on his side, he was too nervous with it. He kept looking at Shoto’s sleeping face, and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
“Goodnight my love.”
