The relationship between the members of luxiem was rather unknown to the general public. Yes, they were a group of friends- hence why the group was even formed- but even so, the speculations and theories were still thrown around here and there, ranging from rivals to siblings to even relationships.
Yet one thing the public was sure of was that no matter the situation, each member was there for another. A firm example of this was the alleged rumour that Shu Yamino - soft, helpful and loveable Shu Yamino - was, for the lack of a better term, part of a group of individuals involved in illicit affairs. The "unlawful acts" were said to include having clandestine meetings with multiple drug dealing associates, sending a message in a bottle to a supposed mafia member and "brutally experimenting with a mad woman".
For the record, Shu Yamino had never been part of a group until luxiem was formed. However multiple users would still insist that the rumours did in fact hold truth - with some theories about it still circling amidst the internet.
Regardless of whether this was true or not, the members of luxiem - and to the extent, the whole of nijisanji - were still there for the sorcerer, which lead to many fans of the group gossiping about the potential relationships he could have. Most of the speculations were quickly shut down due to a plethora of things that didn't quite fit alongside multiple gaps.
Yet, two theorised relationships strangely made sense. With Shu's partners being either Ike or Luca. An odd pair, one can say but nonetheless, if one were to observe how they acted alongside another, it eerily made sense.
Referring back to the alleged scandal, Ike and Luca were the first to step up, with them tweeting about the situation just minutes after the scandal went live. The novelist was there to list off every possibility that made it highly unlikely, while Luca was there naming every affectionate and positive characteristic that their beloved sorcerer had, (which was practically everything) while always ending his sentence with his iconic catchphrase, "pog!" Alongside a small ":D" at the end of his written paragraph.
Fans went wild with this interaction and started to madly theorise about the three's relationship, which then led to them discovering appealing clues.
One of which was how all three of them would keep a similar shaped accessory on their person at all times. The shape was reminiscent of a star, yet with three different colours all transcending into black in the middle. The colours present were a lovely periwinkle purple alongside a dandelion yellow with an aquamarine blue directly at the top. They each faded into darker shades until they reached the colour of the abyss.
Where each of the proclaimed members kept the symbol was.. rather curious. Shu kept it on an earring, Ike's was a keychain clearly visible on his pen, while the mafia leader kept his as a tattoo that was rarely seen, only visible when the member wore short-sleeved shirts.
Once a fan noticed and got hold of this information, they immediately sent a tweet, as one would obnoxiously do.
The said tweet would eventually gain massive attention, with some further digging for more hints at the trio's relationship, others starting debates as to whether this was a keychain the entirety of the group had, while a minority of them would proclaim that this was either an invasion of their privacy or mere coincidence.

Minutes just after the novelist member responded to the speculating tweet, fans went feral and immediately started hunting more and more clues, squeezing the smallest pulp of activity, to rapidly absorbing the numerous crumbs they were able to scavenge from the trio's limited interactions with one another. Through numerous hunts, they were also able to find scattered remnants that also subtly suggested that the three affiliated members were in fact together.
