Arceus, God of the Pokémon universe, gets bored sometimes and wants to mess with the human world. The one without Pokémon to be your best friends or companions. And when God finds 2 nerds, a shy boy with a hyperfocus on Pokémon and a chaotic boy who throws triangles of sheet metal at the wall, who are also best friends, he gets an idea.
How long would it take for them find out they were trapped in a Pokémon game together? A fun experiment that they probably won't mind, besides if the first one goes well they could go to other games too! Arceus did have an idea for a third person if the first one went well.
