Chapter Text
Name: Zenobia ‘Zofi’ Hawke
Varric’s nickname: Lap Cat
Age: 24 (born Dragon 9:6)
Class: Warrior (Sword&Shield)
Hair: blonde curls, cut short
Eyes: sky blue
Zofi is the younger twin of Malcolm’s and Leandra’s firstborn children. She was raised by her father to protect her brother from templars as soon as she was old enough to understand the danger he was in due to his magic. That however did not stop her from forming a strong relationship with Lothering’s chantry and the Andrestian faith in general. Only in the halls of the church she ever felt truly calm and save. Most of the time she has trouble controlling her temper.
With 16 she joined the Ferelden army, upsetting her mother quite a lot by leaving the house at this age to practice sword-fighting. When Carver joined the army as well, Leandra made Zofi promise to always look out for her brother.
She is very close to her twin and is often arguing with Carver but is very protective of him anyway as well as of her family in general.
Name: Arian Hawke
Varric’s nickname: Unlucky
Age: 24 (born Dragon 9:6)
Class: Mage (Elemental: Fire/Ice, some healing)
Hair: black, straight, shoulder length
Eyes: Golden-yellow brown
Arian is the oldest of the three Hawke children and the only one with magical talent. Protected by all the family, Arian was able to escape the templar’s wraith and learned to control his magic from his father. Because he had to run from templars all his life, Arian does not share his sister’s faith in the chantry the slightest bit and is very skeptical towards all forms of faith.
He is a lot calmer than his sister and a lot wittier as well. He likes to joke around with his friends and family but is also quite clumsy, often tripping over his own feet.
He is very sure of his sexuality but was never brave enough to share his preferences with anybody except his sister.
Name: Carver Hawke
Age: 19 (born Dragon 9:11)
Class: Warrior (two-handed)
Hair: black, short
Eyes: blue
As the youngest child, Carver always felt like he had to prove himself. Not having magic, made it hard for him to build a close relationship with his father while the close relationship between the twins made him feel left out often.
Joining the military at an even younger age than his sister gave him a feeling of achievement for the first time in his life, even if it meant that they had to leave Arian and their mother alone often after their father’s death.
The terror of the betrayal at Ostagar hast shaken Carver deeply, making him very irritable.
Calenhad – the twin’s mabari (named after the first king of Ferelden on Zofi’s insistence)
