Zee stared at the younger's home then Nunew asked, "Do you want to come inside, Hia?" He just drove the whole Perdpiriyawong family home.
Zee turned away from the wheel to face Nunew. He shook his head before grabbing the younger's hand. "No, not today. I want you to rest and enjoy the rest of your birthday with your family. "
He gazed at Nunew with admiration. Despite their recent hectic schedules, the young man by his side managed to perform a whole birthday concert by himself yesterday while singing in different languages. He could not help but be inspired by him more and more.
"Hia?"
"Hmm?"
Zee's hands were gently raised by Nunew and placed next to his cheeks. The younger man closed his eyes and muttered, "Thank you," in a gentle voice. "Thank you for making my dream come true last night. Without you, I don't know if I'll be able to perform in that big crowd. I know I made mistakes too, but still, I'm very very glad. My heart is full, Hia."
"Nu..." Zee stroked his cheeks, bringing the younger guy into his lap. He wrapped his hands around his waist in order to prevent the younger from feeling uncomfortable against the steering wheel. "You are able to perform there because of your talent. You are wonderful, you are an amazing singer, you captivate the hearts of many people because of your kind heart. You deserve all of it."
Nunew drew himself into Zee, his head buried in his neck. He tightened his hold as he sensed the older's hands stroking his back.
"You did great, Nu."
"And that's why I could do all of them, because of your support, because you always say I do amazing." Nunew lifted his head and looked at Zee's face. "Thank you na, Baobei. And for today too. I had fun with you, and P'aof, Paa and Maa." He then touched Zee's face, his lips, cheeks, chin, and eyebrows, before lightly pecking Zee's lips, which astonished him a little. "This is my most memorable birthday ever. I liked every second of it."
"You're welcome, Nuna. Spending your special day with your family was enjoyable for me, too. Remember that I'm always glad to help you and be your support system. I'll never get tired of praising and motivating you." Zee then drew Nunew's face nearer and kissed him on the forehead. "Go inside now. Your parents are waiting."
The older then chuckled at Nunew when he put his head on Zee's shoulder. "I don't want to.."
"Nu..." He gave his side a gentle squeeze. "Come on now. They only allowed us a few minutes to say good night. They're waiting."
With a frown on his face, Nunew lifted his head and peered at his home. "Fine, Hia." Just as he was going to get up from Zee's lap, the older softly held his neck and gave him a tender kiss.
"Happy birthday again, Nu. See you tomorrow?"
"Yes, Hia. I'll see you tomorrow." Nunew replied with a giggle. "Good night."
